Only 3 stars for the food. Nothing special, same thing at every firehouse you go to. At any time I walk in there are 4-5 employees and it somehow manages them to take 15-20 minutes to make my sandwich in an empty shop. The tables are always dirty and you have to wipe them down with a napkin (if there's any in the holder) and the drink station is always sticky. But they manage to find time to talk and hangout. I have visited this location a couple of Dozen times and several other locations in California and Utah and this one is the best I have had!! I once had a over cooked meatball sandwich and the owner contacted me directly to resolve the issue. I visit here about three to four times per month. Also they have one of the best reward systems for frequent diners. Twice as good as port of subs. Also they have several opportunities to get great deals mainly through email. The BBQ beef brisket is the sandwich they usually recommend and the sandwich I get about 90 percent of the time. The meatball sandwich is also very yummy. read more

My meatball sandwich was wonderful. Everything I'd want in this type of sub. Plenty of cheese and a delicious red sauce. Service was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the time it took to make the sub. I always give the benefit of the doubt however. I arrived as the only customer in line. I am quite pleased with Firehouse!! I have to start out by saying I've tried this place up in SLC and didn't get it. . . St George, you have it going on! I meet my wife and family here for lunch and the value was great. I couldn't believe how fast they were! Huge lunch line during a busy spring day in St George and they handled the crowd without problems. Our food came out piping hot, fresh and great portions. The soda machine was a fun touch. My wife has returned many times since our first visit. We have had nothing but great experiences here. The staff even gave my baby boy a fire hat on one trip! Going back to the value, you wont get more bang for your buck at any other sub places, I strongly believe this! To add a cherry to the top of this amazing restaurant's review, I was at a local ice-cream joint. The line was NOT moving and I was getting bugged. The nice lady behind us with a melting ice-cream cake asked "whats going on up there?" My wife and I let her in front of us. She was so sweet and funny as we talked in line. As she paid she handed us what looked like two business cards and said thank you. She said "sometimes it pays to be friendly and let people in front of you inline." the food is always excellent and tasty . but the service isn't very good . i usually go in about an hour and a half before close when it's not busy at all and the girls working the counter are always in a bad mood with a bad attitude and make it seem like it's a huge burden on them to take my order . and just come off as rude throughout the entire transaction and i'm really not one to leave a review about a place but after the fourth time having this same experience in the last month i just felt compelled to . i always come back because the sandwiches are so good but after this last time of dealing with the employees bad attitude and just overall negative energy i don't think ill be back for awhile if at all . it's just not worth it . no one especially a paying customer should walk into your restaurant and have to feel unwelcome by the staffs demeanor and actions . read more

Doorbell ringing as we walked in the door, spotting the firehose decor. Sandwich was a mess of yummy chhesy goodness. the drink selection machine left me options of every soda with every flavor you can think of. Employess were enjoyable, giving the kids firehats was a nice touch. There is also counter of hot sauce flavors from hot to hottest. watch out for Daves hot sauce. whew. i would have given this place a 5 but when you walked there was dirty floors everywhere. and girls who had free time to clean it. I'm so disappointed in this location. Every single table was dirty today, dirt all over the floors and the bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in a week (worse than I gas station), the service is horrendous. The employees disappear in to the back and don't come out unless someone walks in which is horrible seeing that the place was trashed. Me and my father eat at fire house on a regular basis and this location is always dirty, we go to Vegas frequently and they are always neat and clean. This is a lack of management and needs to be fixed. I love fire house subs but I cannot stand the way this store looks and is ran. read more

If I reviewed this location 6 months ago when I moved here I would have gave it 5 stars. Came here at least once a week because my son loves getting the fire hats. Food was on point (maybe better) with all the other locations I have had in Vegas, friendly and very busy. Something must have changed in the last few months as reading the reviews, other folks have had similar experiences to mine the last couple visits. The last time I went was about a month ago and just thought they were having a bad day, customers were angry (one guy was livid at the workers as they were joking and playing around and he was waiting for over 20 minutes for a sandwhich). In St. George most places I have been seem to employ 13 year olds (maybe I am just getting old but them kids at Culvers can't even be in high school lol). I doubt the last two times I have been there anyone over 25 (nothing wrong with young people working if they are professional) it may be the last time I go. I walked in, knowing my order, nobody but one other person already eating inside, walked up to counter and waited a couple min while the kids were around the corner chattin it up. One employee called another one out and he came out and signed in to computer and then just stared off into the distance. Did not even say the usual "Welcome to Firehouse" "How can I help you", nothin. I finally asked him if he was ready and he was like "oh, yeah". Placed my order and got home and was missing my favorite after sandwich snack pickle. I ordered extra cheese, didn't get it. Asked for extra mustard on other, didn't get it. No straws for drinks, no ice in ice machine, this location also never has my favorite sweet tea. The floor and tables were filthy. No wonder nobody was in there when I went today just before dinner rush. For a place with about 6 people on staff at the time I went in, I would imagine they have time to do a little housekeeping. It also appears that Firehouse corporate has not made it clear enough to the owner that we have many options to dine at in this area and will gladly take our money to a place that wants to earn it. read more

I love this place! The subs are always amazing and the staff is so friendly! I've had the cheesesteak and the meatball sub. Both are awesome options and they have all great deals! My only problem was that the floors and tables were quite dirty. It was hard to find a spot to sit and eat for that reason. We had to clean our own table off. Will still eat there next time we are in St. George, but please clean up more! read more

Personally I don't think I'm very picky but I wasn't a very big fan of what I ordered this evening.. My husband and I split two different subs so we could try a few things here.. I did the #10 and it was called a something brisket.. It was okay.. Would I order it again not likely.. However the reason I decided to try this place Is because my grandparents are on obsessed with this place and swear by it and that's what they told me to order.. Next we ordered the #7 again it was okay.. My husband didn't think there was enough meat and I noticed there was a few particals in the meat.. Not sure if it was grissel or fat or both?... However the staff was very friendly.. Place was very clean.. Lots of parking... And It was pretty quick service and the food was hot! Would I come back not likely.. But I guess it wasn't bad and maybe you will like it.. It's still better then subway! read more

I loved firehouse subs but this location deserves a shout out. We went there for lunch on my wife's birthday, got the free sub through the app, and I ordered one for me as well. They staff was so nice. They wished my wife a happy birthday when they brought our subs. They were so fast and the quality of the subs was great, even better than other locations I've been to. One star because that was the least I could give it. Place was dead (6.30pm on a Saturday) but there were 6 employees. Restaurant is so dirty that I won't be surprised if they get shutdown by the Health Department. Restaurant floor was dirty, counters, trash cans, sticky trays, soda machine... everything was gross. All kids running the shift and 50% of them looked high. Restroom was disgusting, papers everywhere and dirty floor, toilet bowl looked like one of a gas station in the middle of nowhere. I went to Firehouse Sub for my first time today. My initial impression was that $8.68 was a lot for just a sub. However, it was really good. I got a #10 which was some sort of 12" BBQ beef brisket. The meat was high quality, not the type you would find at subway. I didn't buy a drink but they had a really cool Coke machine that mixed flavors to create up to 120 options. Service is always fast and helpful, and they have a killer hot sauce bar. What more could you ask for? On a road trip passing through UT and saw this Firehouse Sub and thought I would give them a first try. I wasn't impressed nor was I disappointed. It was just mediocre in taste and it didn't leave me wanting for more and running back in the near future. The service in this particular location was slow and the dining room didn't look to be well taken care of. The employees didn't seem to go out of their way for customers and the bathroom was also dirty. The toilet also did not flush in the men's room.
