My husband and I ordered two sandwiches and a bowl of loaded potato soup. I was super hungry so as soon as I got in the car I opened. HORRIBLE it was even Luke warm first off, there was what tasted like extra lemon juice, extra pepper and Parmesan cheese mixed which made it horrible.... DOOOOO BETTER FIREHOUSE we'll see what my sandwich holds

    This is what I ordered....hmmmm

I love the Italian Salad with chicken; reliably great! Big too. Okay, a bit expensive, as are their subs, but at least they usually are very good. Every now and then you will come across a worker who just doesn't care....usually very young and thinking they should get paid just for being there, I guess.

These guys are amazing! We received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in with beaming smiles to match. Our subs were made to perfection with melted cheeses and crispy fresh bread. Our daughter throughly enjoyed her Firehouse hat and loved getting to pick out her very own drink from the fridge. Beyond the food and the staff the lobby was very clean and smelled delicious when we entered.

What happened to this place? 1sub took 27 minutes to make! It's 101 degrees out and inside this restaurant must be 85 degrees. Their wi-fi is a joke, obviously it's just there for looks, don't bother using it. Really sad, this place used to be great, not anymore. Very Very Slow THIS PLACE IS HORRENDOUS THE EMPLOYEES HID MY FOOD AND WATCHED ME SIT THERE WAITING FOR MY FOOD FOR 27 MINUTES Very hot inside! I don't recommend Whoever runs this place should be ashamed of themselves

We are staying up in Joshua tree this weekend. We needed to get some lunch for a bunch of people and ordered from firehouse subs. The food was OK in regards to flavor. The sandwich I had which was a chicken sandwich was sort of dry and doughy bread. Served the purpose for filling me up but that was about it! I would probably eat here again.

I have had Firehouse Subs in the past and I keep saying everyone who cares for the delicious subs should only eat at Firehouse Subs! Not only are your purchases going towards a great cause but this awesome sub sandwich shop was started by firemen. Also, everyone loves a fireman. At least that's hat my wife tells me. Today we stopped at this one location in Yucca Valley because we are camping nearby and went to Joshua Tree National Park. I'm surrounded by 3 females screaming for food because you know we have to feed the beast once in awhile. So I recommended Firehouse Subs and there was a little resistance but I was able to persuade them by paying for it. Happy Ladies happy Life, right. We went inside and ordered. I had the Firehouse Hero, daughters had turkey sandwiches. One for the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the other Engineer and they finished every last bite. My wife had the Jamaican Jerk Turkey and loved it. All were full of so much flavor and perfect bread. The employees were friendly, motivated and respectful! We will definitely be back. It's a must go to! Seriously, stop by and try it! You won't be disappointed!

Standard sub with great meat quality. Portions are very filling and large. Potato soup is average. Love the fact that they offer delivery and make donations to local fire stations or volunteer fire fighters. Honestly, it's a great feeling to know that your expenses are being used to benefit society.

The sub was very good, but $11.83 with tax for a sub (no drink or chips) is a bit steep. I'll not be returning.

ANYWAY. We have been here a couple of times - will usually stop by here when we're in Joshua Tree. On Saturdays, there is a Farmer's Market in the parking lot, so it gets pretty crowded. This last time we went, I got an iced strawberry matcha, and my partner got the chai iced tea. Both with almond milk. They still charge a surplus for non-dairy, which feels so 2022. But anyway. The drinks were delicious. We also got an almond croissant, which doesn't look like much, but it was AMAZING. And then the quiches. Oh, the quiches. I had such high hopes for these, especially since we were primed with refreshing drinks and a tasty pastry. These quiches are muffin-sized, perfect for a light meal or a heavier snack, and they look super cute. They will heat them up for you. When we went, they had bacon cheddar and spinach feta. We got one of each. My friends, these were so disappointing. First, no flavor. We asked for ketchup or hot sauce to give it a bit of acid, because it was basically egg all the way through. Solid wall of egg that tasted like the powdered egg you get at one of those corporate conference catered breakfasts. I had one tiny sliver of bacon in mine, and my partner was playing hide and seek with the spinach, and the spinach was winning. The crust itself was rubbery and chewy, not flaky like I would expect a quiche to be. I mean, it was palatable and not super expensive. I'm just not sure if you're selling food, you want it to just be "palatable". Last time, we got a savory veggie pie, and that was pretty good, so they DO have good savory foods. I think the quiches were just a huge miss this time. Bathroom is clean and single-stalled. Parking is easy in the lot, and on Farmer's Market days, I mean, c'mon, it's Joshua Tree, it's not like there isn't space on the streets too.

I complained previously about false advertisement by Aldi, which is only the tip of the ice-berg. It is also true that they have the worst check-out personnel imaginable. Rude is an understatement. Almost every time I check out, there is at least 1 overcharge. One of their repeat abnormalities: banana weights, and charges. There are 2 weight prints, meaning the bananas are weighted twice. The first time I pointed at this, I was given a refund. The second time this occurred, the same manager -- Alyssa her name -- repeatedly ignored the 2 weight prints, alleging the charge was correct. Why would she confirm an overcharge in the first case, then allege it is all correct, while the same abnormality repeats ? In addition, I was overcharged more than 1 USD for the couscous. Alyssa's excuse, in line with their classic false advertisement: "Oh, we accidentally placed the wrong tag to it". None of these are accidental. They used to do the same with apples. I complained multiple times, then they stopped their false advertisement for apples. The cashier was Jamie. A consistently arrogant, intimidating, and rude cashier. Together with Alyssa, they make sure people get defrauded, and verbally abused. Behind this is intentional FRAUD, DECEPTION. ALDI does not save us money. ALDI steals money from us, and sells us low-quality products. ALDI's food poisonings, warnings about expired, contaminated  products, hit the news ongoingly. "Aldi saves money" is not true. Low quality products, together with ongoing false advertisement, and fraud-practicing cashiers/managers guarantee you don't save actually, but lose money. The FDA should audit ALDI routinely, and there should be ongoing audits for deceptive and fraudulent advertisement/sale practices. Report your bad experience here.
