This is the gem of Joshua Tree (besides the National Park, of course). Fresh. Plant-based. Goodness. If it wasn't for the giant "vegan" sign I spotted from the main road while headed to the park, I would have totally driven by without noticing this place. It's in a building that looks like it belongs in Pioneertown and not where you'd expect to find a vegan cafe. Grabbed a couple of smoothies on our way back from visiting the park right before they closed for the day and they were both terrific. If you can't decide - go with the Chocolate Sun Butter with added brownie bits (recommended to me by the friendly gal behind the walk-up window). It's definitely one of the best smoothies I've EVER had! I look forward to stopping in again (hopefully post-covid) and experiencing their vegan brunch menu.

    View across boulevard is nice.

E for Exceptional! Earned more than 5-stars! The menu is quite large, I mean it actually measures about 8' x 6' ... maybe even bigger. If you need some direction or suggestions, meet April . . . the warm and kind human that takes your order and brings it to your outdoor table. April walked me through a couple of menu items that appealed to me and I ended up having (devouring) the 50/50 wrap with eggplant, pesto and avocado. It came topped with a beautiful bunch of dressed greens. The photos don't do it justice. The wrap is a large, soft pita. I ate every bite! For something sweet and cool, April recommended a mixed berry with banana smoothie. It was perfect! There are plenty of outdoor tables. And even though I was solo the setting was perfect and neat and casual and comfortable. Parking lot is decent and the bathroom was clean with ample supplies.

Such a unique menu that's healthy and filling for post-Joshua tree hiking. The Pestocado was something that'll make you want to recreate it at home! The hummus wrap has nothing but a smooth tasty hummus with fresh vegetables adding amazing texture to the meal. Saffron rose rice pudding caught our attention so we ordered it and although we were extremely full, we were glad to have experienced the floral dessert! the coco rosie was delicious! I wish the cup was bigger. A small gravel parking lot is available to pull into. When we arrived it was around 10:30a and there were no crowds.

    Can't miss sign!

I made a pit stop here while visiting Joshua tree and heading back home to LA. I didn't realize at first it was a vegan place but food looked amazing in pictures and decided to take a chance. So happy that I did because as expected it was so tasty and the wrap I ordered with side salad was soooo yummy. Also had their smoothie and that was different but not terrible or anything. The staff was helpful and food came out quick and fresh. I hope to be back to this place soon.

Fantastic delicious food and special, super sweet customer service! We were a tad confused at the order outside system, unsure if they were open, but the kind employee popped out to give us the scoop. Cute western looking building and a great restroom. You order at the window and they bring out to your car. The food was fresh and crazy delicious. The seasonings on the salad were magical!!! We inhaled it. The kid in our party loved the warm pita bread :) the stuffed avocados, hummus, coffee, rose water saffron rice pudding, and eggplant toast were 10 stars. Seriously so good. While we were eating outside in the sunshine on their hay bales, they employee came out to bring us two free vegan GF chocolate cupcakes as a treat, how nice!! Thanks for a great experience.

My go to spot for allergen-free yummies after a trip to Joshua Tree. This is a family owned operation & everything is so thoughtfully made every time I come here. Ask for the sea moss face mask for a rejuvenating skin treat. :)

We were visiting Yucca Valley, and decided to stop by the place on day 1 of our stay. We liked the place so much, that we visited it every single day of our trip. If you are vegan, then don't look any further, this is the spot! The location is right next to the main highway 62, so very convenient if you are on the way to Joshua Tree or Palm Springs. There is enough parking (so it wasn't an issue). Note that they are open only Fri-Sun. They are offering only takeout, but there are some tables outside, so you can sit and enjoy. Over the 3 days, we tried several items from their menu: Earl grey lavender iced tea, Hibiscus rose iced tea, chocolate sunbutter smoothie, chickpea salad wrap (entree), stuffed avocado- tried both pesto as well as chickpea (entree), eggplant toast (entree), chocolate cake, saffron rice pudding. Everything we tried was delicious. There were definitely some repeat orders as well in the 3 consecutive day visits. They serve pretty fast, you order at the booth, wait in your car and they bring it to your car. On one of the occasion, they even added some gluten-free chips on the house, such a sweet gesture. If you are vegan or meat eater, visiting the area or passing by, definitely give it a try. Highly recommend it.

Came here for a healthy breakfast, indoor dining wasn't an option but it sure was nice outside so that was okay. Loved to see all the healthy options on the menu, would love to come back to try more!

Literally my favorite place to eat. Anywhere. I love the freshness and it's simplicity. Yummy yummy in my tummy. But don't tell too many people ... it is a hidden gem Everything is amazing. Eggplant toast , the stuffed avocados , smoothies , desserts , you cannot go wrong Did I mention it's all vegan ?

Very good vegan spot in Joshua Tree and reasonably priced. We went for brunch and got: 1. Pesto-Cado which came with a whole avocado+pesto, salad and pita bread. 2. Hummus wrap: the garlic in hummus is light and not overpowering, 3. Saffron Rose Rice Pudding: reminds me chai latte in pudding form, 4. Coco Rosie: hot chocolate + rose water, very floral, 5. Dirty Rosie: coco rosie + coffee. Everything is good and I love the healthy options! Outdoor seating only

Delicious everything! 100% recommend to stop by whenever this little place is open. Never disappointed love the rose hot chocolate.

The woman at the counter, whose name I didn't get but who had pink and white striped hair, refused to serve my boyfriend even though the website said the cafe was open, the door sign said the cafe was open, and people were in the cafe itself eating and drinking coffee at a few of the tables. She said the cafe was closed because she was too busy, even though there were only a few people around. When I asked if it was possible to get coffee, she said alright but we should order the drip coffee because she wasn't very good at making anything else. While we sat and drank our coffees, a group of about six women came up and she let them order food and coffee for the group. A man was next in line and she told him the same thing she told my boyfriend: that she was busy and the cafe was closed. This pattern continued. She served women in groups of any size, but men who asked were told that the cafe was closed. This is unacceptable and I will not be returning, however nice the setting.

They have added more comfortable upholstered seating, and the lighting is improved. They seemed understaffed, but our server was attentive, friendly, and our meals arrived quickly. The turkey, while good, wasn't freshly carved, which took a little away from the "special" feel. And while the breakfast sando was light and all alone on the plate, the way the mayo fused the flavors together was delicious. But I do wish the beverage fridge had prices listed so I wasn't surprised at the register. The restaurant, while it's a bit tricky to find on the side of a building, inside is a modern space. It's spotless and very clean. The aesthetic is minimalist and if it were just you, it could feel a bit cold, if not for the steady buzz of activity behind the counter. There were three staff members who moved swiftly. As I watched I was impressed with their efficiency as the kept things running smoothly. When we entered an hour before closing, we made the mistake to sit and pause to look over the menu. It was a mistake because it seemed like the front door kept swinging open as wave after wave of hungry visitors poured in. My guess is these folks were all returning from Joshua Tree National Park. In fact, it felt like nearly everyone there had just come from the park. The business concept appears thoughtfully geared toward travelers, particularly those with a bit of disposable income and a discerning palate. Overall, this is a certified foodie stop: quality over quantity: taste over filling up.

It's located in a small plaza but parking was easy to find. First entering there r alot of food goodies sold including take away sides/meals. Looks crowded but no one ordering. There was an influx of people past 11am but the line moves so fast! I asked what was their most popular breakfast sandwich and the dyed red haired girl at the cash register said the turkey club sandwich. I dont like bacon so she suggested they remove that and sub avocado so i went with it! And also got the matcha hot with oatmilk. Partner ordered tuna melt and drip coffee. They give u a buzzer tho they ended up delivering it to our table. The cashier was really nice and entertained all my questions about the sandwiches and how they prepared their matcha. (It's not the matcha powder with the sugar already in it, whew! It tasted pretty ceremonial but not sure if it was- added one pack of sugar and sweetness was perfect for me. Just a tad grainy but overall very nice!) Sandwiches were delivered to where we were sitting after 10-15 mins or so. They are huge! And wow i dont normally order sandwiches these days bc i find the meats questionable and not pleasant to eat but this sandwich tasted so fresh.
