Spent over $1000.00 here in December for new tires and an oil change. The technician did not secure the 0-ring properly back on (see pic attached) which caused a massive oil leak. It took me about 1.5 months to discover the issue bc i only commute 2 miles to work. And the check oil light only came on this week. When i took it into this place to explain the situation and how JIFFY LUBE (Which has exceptional customer service found the leak), the manager was not friendly. First he insinuated i was a liar by saying "It took 2 months to notice it was leaking?" And then he just stood there and said "What do you want me to do about it?". I was very calm and never raised my voice at all--i really just told him I wanted him to be aware (for training his staff purposes) and to pay for my engine to be cleaned because there is oil EVERYWHERE. He did not even look my name up in the system but handed me a business card and said for me to return with the cleaning bill for reimbursement. No apologies, no reimbursement of a $30 oil change ;when i had spent $1k there!). If this place is serious about making it right, they can contact me and I'll update this post. I was the 2012 Camaro that got the new tires and oil change on Dec 19th. If not--I'm definitely never going back to Firestone or this location. read more

I was taking a road trip to Knoxville in a few days, so I decided to treat myself to 2 new front tires on 3/6/2021. I also needed a new battery and a front end alignment. I took my car in on the morning of the 6th and had all the work done to the tune of about $1,100. So I am packing for my car for the trip and I notice in the trunk of my car that the housing for the battery has been left completely disassembled so I decided to just take it back in when I return from my trip. So I go on my trip and was unpleasantly surprised to realize that the entire front end of my car is out of balance. Seriously?!?! It was an awful drive up there and back. Shouldn't they have balanced the tires when they put them on??????? When I returned, I called and arranged to bring my car back in to get the tires balanced AND get the battery housing reassembled. Assuming (stupid me) they had done what needed to be done, I get in my car to leave and the mechanic that had parked my car (on completely level ground) had pulled the emergency brake up so far that I had to work very hard to release it and almost was unable to). The tires are now balanced but the battery housing is still in shambles and they want me to bring it back in.....absolutely not! I am not going back to this location for anything EVER again.....they cannot be trusted to do what you are paying them to do. They didn't even put valve stem caps back on the new $300+ ea. tires I purchased. This is a shoddy, shoddy operation, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! read more

I usually hate taking my car in for service, but I've used this Firestone location several times now, for oil changes and for purchasing tires, and am highly pleased. They've never tried to upsell me, they're very courteous and patient. read more

Have lifted Jeep that they were patient and determined to fix. Had an issue with locking lug nuts and they fixed less than 24 hours later. We will bring any and all of our vehicles back which is a 69 Dodge Charger, 04 Mach 1 and both of our daily drivers. We couldn't ask for better service. Much better than NTB. read more

I was a frequent customer to this location before I found out they lie and provide you with false information. I took my 2015 Mitsubishi in August 2018 to have checked out. They came back with recommendations for service for 4 new tires and a battery replacement, and they said the car was in excellent condition otherwise. I called them to see if I could get the back 2 tires replaced, and they said they couldn't find the tire. Meanwhile, I found the tires at Kauffman Tires, so we purchased and they replaced and balanced the tires. I asked if I needed a front end alignment or my battery replaced and they said no. 2 weeks before Christmas 2018 in for a loud roaring noise, and they said I had to leave it and they would call me with the estimate. They call and said I needed a tune up and spark plugs and it would cost $495.00. I agreed and I stopped by to pick the car up and I noticed it was making the same noise it was I took it in. ( FYI don't let them know you have an extended warranty on your vehicle because they extended warranty company red-flagged them for calling trying to find out what they pay for (CROOKS) I ended up stopping at the FireStone in Alpharetta (never go to this place either) and he sen me to the Tires Plus off Old Milton Parkway and I spoke with Ronin and I tried to give them the benefit of doubt for providing me repairs/maintenance that I didn't need, but he turned out to be a big waste of my time too because he was talking the talk until he spoke with the other idiots at Firestone at Perimeter, and didn't want to help me any further, and tried to tell me I needed a frontend alignment(grasping for straws). I will never use Firestone or Tires Plus again because I can't trust them to give me a straight answer and if I can't trust you I can't do business with you. read more

My most recent experience was excellent. Chris at the front and Lupe the technician were nothing but honest, reliable, and transparent. Chris knew I had a bad experience with another location and he went out of his way to right the wrong. Can't say enough good about him! Lupe was the kindest - giving me free oil and truly caring when he noticed my car was leaking oil. Having said that, I've had ups and downs with this Firestone in the past... I needed a basic oil change for my car, so I brought my vehicle to the perimeter center location, like I normally would. Upon arrival, I noticed the normal face I would see there were not there. However, against my better judgment I gave these people the key to my car. I was told it would take an hour and that was fine. The problem was the fact that these people lied about the length of time it would take, which to me is not ok. If it's going to take longer, when I came back to check the car, that's when you as the service provider, should have acknowledged what you told me and be apologetic for it. Instead this below par reck whole, with under functioning people didn't even acknowledge they told me one time and it's took longer. I would have understood and be ok with it. However, the nonchalant attitude of the three gentlemen that chimed in with nasty attitudes, when I also asked my total was $40.00 higher than normal and did they apply my coupon. Again, they lied and said they applied the coupon and my receipt determined that was a lie. As for the hike in price, they didn't even bother to look at what I've been paying for years at this dysfunctional establishment. I went ahead and paid the bill and told them, I would never come back to them again. They didn't even respond to the reason why I was dissatisfied. Instead one of the three guys said ok. This showed me the true value these people place on customer service. It basically, doesn't exist and why others have given them one star as of lately. Whoever was running this prior to the low class workers that were there, when I got my car serviced, should reconsider taking over before the works that were there drag this brand down to the ground, to the point of no return. Just waited for over 15 minutes in the lobby with the only communication from an employee being an index finger wait signal from a mechanic on the other side of the glass about 8-10 minutes in. All I needed was to leave my car for an oil change while I went to work. When I walked outside to leave, the same mechanic who told me to wait said, "you're leaving?" Didn't ask why I'd come, apologize for the poor experience or say anything else. I guess this happens routinely for them. Poor. read more

I called into Firestone a couple weeks ago inquiring about a problem with my brake lights, the women who answered the phone was very enthusiastic when she told me a basic diagnostic would only cost $10, and scheduled me for an appointment the following day. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me that it would be $24.99 for the diagnostic. Confused, I asked why the price had gone up. She proceeded to tell me that she thought I would need an electrical system check and the price for that is $24.99. I was not happy about having to pay OVER DOUBLE of what I was expecting, but nonetheless needed my car fixed so I left my car with them and waited for a report. About an hour later when the mechanic called me he told me that the problem was a fuse that blew and that caused all of my brake lights to burn out simultaneously, he said "We went ahead and replaced the fuse for you, would you like us to replace the light bulbs as well?" I answered, "No, I can replace them myself, but thank you." And he tells me "Ok, your total for the service is $110.00" ....For a fuse that costs less than $2?? No thank you. I informed him that I wasn't planning to have any work done on the car, and that I had brought it in solely for a diagnostic. So he said he will remove the fuse and that my car is ready for pickup. When I brought my car home and checked out the fuses and lights, I noticed that the fuse along with one of my tail lights was MISSING! I don't know about you, but when I take my car into a shop for professional services I expect to have it back exactly how I brought it in. I felt that I couldn't trust them or the information that they gave me since I had tried to replace the lights and fuse and neither seemed to fix the problem. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this, or any, repair shop unless I know that I can trust the mechanic and the services that I'm expecting to receive. read more

Honesty is questionable. I came there because a tire had a slow leak. The service adviser told me I needed 4 new tires because the tread was worn. I wasn't sure if he was right but it had been a couple years since two were replaced so it was possible. He didn't offer me a choice of tire options. Told me this was the cost for the tires. I agreed. After he printed the bill, he said that if there was any problem I could bring the tire back for a prorated substitute -- basically the hazard road protection policy. It wasn't until I examined the bill the next day that I saw that this is optional and he had put it on the bill without asking me whether I wanted it or not. I called the manager who confirmed it was optional. He offered for me to come back and remove but I told him to just leave it at this point. I'm not saying I would never have agreed to it but I'm upset that it was presented as included when it was optional. It doesn't inspire confidence in his recommendation that I needed 4 new tires. New tires seem OK so I assume the technical part is OK but it's just two days. read more

This place is fraudulent! I went in for a routine oil change after getting my tires inspected two days ago. When I returned they told me that I had TWO nails in my tires! Funny thing is the nails are not scratched at all! They CLEARLY are brand new and trying to persuade me to buy a new tire which is ridiculous. My family and I have been coming to this specific location for over 10 years, and have always had honest quality service. Kurt has always made sure I left happy and satisfied, and kept me informed about any extra thing that may be wrong, but not trying to sell me the service. Had issues with another location finding the lifetime alignment in the computer, and with no questions Kurt searched through 6years of records and made sure that it is easier found for the next time. We go here for both of our car's needs (Toyota Camry and 4Runner). The staff is friendly and Kurt is always helpful- we make it a point to always work with him. He is knowledgable, honest and customer service focused. We had an old 4Runner that needed a ton of work- Kurt and team helped us to decide what we REALLY needed to do, and what didn't make sense. They ended up saving us over $1,000 from what other shops were quoting. Kurt set a date that the car would be ready and it was. We have always gone there for basic oil change and tire repairs/purchases. I work close to the shop but we also make the drive for anything we need on a weekend since the service and prices are so great. Just bought a new 4Runner and had a flat tire- Kurt ordered the tire I needed and ended up just repairing the tire instead of replacing. He was super nice about having already ordered the replacement tire and was happy when he was able to tell me that we were able to just repair the flat! Highly recommend. read more

I've taken my car to this location twice for simple repairs. The first time I left, my car completely died the next day. So I had to get a new car. The second time I took it there for an oil change, they came back with $2000 of repairs I needed. I passed. I left and a few weeks later here I am with a blown transmission on my new car. I definitely do not think this was a coincidence, especially based on experiences I've heard from other family members who had similar issues with their car after taking it to a Firestone. I will never take my car to this Firestone or ANY other Firestone ever again. Do not waste your time & money there because it will only cause you more repair work to be done on your car. read more

Disaster, went in Saturday morning to put new tires and i specifically told them to put new tires on the front and move front on the back they even made me sign disclaimer because they recommend new tires on the back when i came to pick up the car i noticed new tires on the back i asked to speak with manager about it shocking enough the manager never heard of such thing as disclaimer another mechanic had to educate manager what disclaimer means unbelievable. The manager name is Anthony he was defensive the whole time no help from him what so ever super rude. I got my car as soon as i came home i noticed iPhone charger was missing from the car i called the shop and Anthony the store manager answered and i told him that the charger was missing and as i expected we didn't get anywhere, to conclude the mechanics are not reading the paperwork as Anthony admitted and bring your car empty next time the valuables might be missing. read more

I will never go here ever again. I used to think they did a great job and had great service until the last two times I have gone here. I went for an oil change and tire rotation back in January and then again in March to get an issue with my air-conditioning looked at and had them look at a low tire. What happened? Well they patched my tire and charged me over $200 to run a test on my air conditioner. Price not being the issue, but seems a bit steep. The issue being that they came and informed me that I need new tires because the back two tires have no tread, not even low tread, no tread. Now, I had just been in there mid January and specifically asked about the tread because I was taking a trip in the car and was told they were fine. These particular tires have been on the car for about two years. They are trying to tell me that the back tires only lost 5 32nd's in two months. Upon asking about this, the technician's explanation was that "it's a rear wheel drive car". No, it's a front wheel drive car. Bottom line, they lied to me. I'm not even 100% sure they even rotated the tires. They lied and actually put my life in danger. I will never, ever give this place my business again and would not advise anyone else to either. I am in the process of trying to contact their corporate office regarding the matter as well. read more

They claimed they would match a competitor coupon but when I presented the coupon they said they couldn't match it, no big deal it was convenient and the cost was still under 30 for the oil change and tire rotation. I dropped off my suv and then got a call saying my alignment was significantly off and that they recommended I get one right away. This was an immediate red flag as I had recently replaced my tires at a competitor and had alignment checked and they said no issue. So I balked but wanted to be sure that I hadn't hit a pothole so I brought my car to the place that did my tires, the next day and told them what firestone had said. The tech offered to do the check the alignment for free and would do the alignment if needed for $65. After checking the vehicle the tech said your car is in alignment and provided the print out showing my car was in alignment, firestone would not provide a copy of the sheet showing car was out of alignment. I will not be going back and I warn anyone to be careful prior to getting additional work done at this location. read more

I went here today thinking great a place in walking distance of my job where I can drop my car off and come back and pick it up at the end of the day ... NOPE!!! If you don't have time to sit in shop and baby sit these mechanics to make sure some one works on your car just go somewhere else. I dropped off at 10:15 and they told me it would be around 3:30 for a finish time which was fine. They were supposed to do a check to let me know about services that may have been needed. I called around 1:15 to check-in as I hadn't heard anything. I was told they were getting someone to check my car right now. Two hours later around 3:15 I called back as I still had not heard anything. I was told someone is looking at it right now. Around 4:00 someone finally called who was rushing as it was time for him to leave and rambling off a bunch of stuff. I continuously had to try to slow him down so I could understand. I asked about a specific repair which he ran off the phone and returned about 30 seconds later to let me know I should be good on that. Then he left for the day. I called back and told them I would just like to come and pick up my car with no services as I didn't feel very confident in the rushed assessment. They would have someone get it together and call me when it was ready and back out front - this was 4:15. Of course no one ever called me back. Around 5:50 I walked back to the store to pick up my car which of course was still not out front waiting. Moral: If you don't have time to sit and babysit them this is not the store for you! read more

horrible experience!! Went to get my car serviced because of an incorrect initial installment (so it was still under warranty) & was told to test it out for a few days "just to be sure" , before any work would be done. The next day, i ended up getting stuck in the middle of the road needing a tow truck! So, Firestone offered to pay for my car rental & now 3 months later I receive the charge on my personal cc!!!!! The rental company now tells me it was because Firestone never submitted payment!!! Im so irate with this service! Im completely disappointed that Ive been a Firestone cc holder for over a decade! Way to totally not appreciate customer loyalty! Unfortunately, I will no longer be using Firestone and will be canceling my cc. This is just too much! Its bad enough that I dont feel safe after work has been performed on my vehicle & NOW i see that they are total liars when it comes to their word of paying for rentals which are their responsibility. Word of advice, do NOT let them talk u into using ur personal Cc for only the "deposit" of the rental!
