I've had consistently positive experiences at this Firestone in the past, which makes this visit especially disappointing. I scheduled a 9:30 AM appointment for an alignment and oil change. My paperwork shows my vehicle was checked in at 9:36 AM with an estimated completion time of 1:00 PM. The gentleman who assisted me also confirmed it would be done no later than 1:00 PM. When I returned around 1:40 PM, I was surprised to find that my vehicle had just been pulled in and service had not even started. There was no prior communication about any delays, and I had to adjust other commitments based on the original timeline I was given. Ultimately, I didn't leave until 2:30 PM, and that was only with the oil change completed. I had to skip the alignment entirely because I couldn't wait another 1.5 hours. This experience fell short of Firestone's "Triple Promise"--specifically in communication, timeliness, and completion of scheduled services. I'm very disappointed, especially given my previous positive visits, and hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent similar situations in the future. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 12:30 on march 28th 2026 for a brake inspection and was on time and greeted by Christina the service advisor at the time. I've been there before and Chuck would assist me but has retired some years back then the new manager Alex would help me out... until yesterday. It took them until almost 3 o'clock to get my car in, have it inspected, and for them to tell me it will cost nearly 2 grand for new front and rear brakes. I declined the work order and requested to have everything put back together so I can be on my way. Christina was nice but kept pushing for some sort of sale. I get it, I've been in sales too, you have to make quota each month I understand. After all things considered my car backs in and I notice a lug nut on the passenger rear wheel was completely broken in half so I asked what had happen and Christina says "omg let's fix that I'm sorry" then some other guy comes out didn't know his name, he was a Caucasian young kid heavy set with red hair said the Firestone stores before them in particular federal way had "over torqued" it and that's why it snapped off and that I would have to take it there to get it fixed! Mind you Alex the store manager looking at me and hearing all of this said the same thing they can't do anything about it and even smiled and just said "we can pay for the part you just have to pay for the labor." I told them nicely I'll be in contact with them. When I left they gave me no invoice and said they will email it to me, they emailed me finally an estimate but not what was promised to fix the lug nut they broke. So I spoke to Jesse over in Burien Firestone and said he will fix it for me free of charge on a later date to make things right after hearing my situation. Burien has worked on my car before and Jesse is the store manager and has worked with the Mexican guy Alex at the auburn location and has confirmed Alex is crooked and does not care about customers and making things right. Jesse indicated he has worked with him for two years and has experienced Alex's shady behavior with customers adding in services not explained to customers. Back to the heavy set Caucasian red headed technician who claims he or his techs or his store won't fix it 100% and that I have to pay for labor shows his true colors and way of dealing with customers and running some kind of business there of. If there's a rating on this review I'd give them zero stars or zero points. They even rotated my tires and added windshield washer fluid and I didn't even request that. It was a waste of a beautiful Saturday afternoon but I got a solution out of it, but definitely not from that location in auburn. I found their corporate location number which was given to me by another Firestone location and I will be calling them and giving a verbal complaint with all documents to support my claim in the hopes that this will help future guests. Dropped off my son's car for new tires and brake inspection. The brakes needed a lot of work and parts had to be ordered. The team there did a great job getting the parts and they even stayed open late to work on the car. Technician "K" was did excellent work and he really cares about this craft. Marco and Alex were working the desk and did a fantastic job getting parts ordered and keeping me informed of everything. They had to keep it overnight but overall I cannot say enough about how professional and courteous these three guys were. I set an appointment for 1pm to get my tires balanced. I get there, give them the keys, sit down and wait. 1 and a half hours later they call me up and say they won't do anything because my tire tread is too low. They couldn't tell me that any sooner?? Sitting and waiting an hour and a half just to find out they haven't done anything and they won't do anything is infuriating to say the least. Will not be going back because I paid for 4 tires to be rebalanced and I left my truck there all day. When I arrived back I noticed my back 2 wheels had no handprints on them and did not have any new weights. I asked the guy if they touched the back wheels and he said he would go ask the tech. The tech said he did but he could do it again... I did not have 30 more minutes to sit around. If there is 0% signs that you even took the wheels off on dirty wheels it's pretty obvious. read more

Worst place ever Management is rude, they actually stated they don't trust their employees to our face. We had a scheduled appt for 3:00 today 8/8/24, manager said he might get to it tomorrow....all because Tire Rack gave them a bad review for refusing our tires. That's when the comment about not trusting their employees. We are contacting corporate office of Firestone in regards to this location. ALL the other surrounding ones had no problem with us. WHY is it so hard for people (Mechanics) to follow simple instructions no matter how clear you make it? Ive had the worst luck trying to get my all wheel alignment done correctly. Yeah yeah I should just pay $$$$ but really its not that hard if it's done right. I have lifetime alignment through Firestone. They have all the proper gear to do a great job and EVERY time I have taken in the TSB that shows how to do it. I even tape a copy to the steering wheel so the tech cant miss it. Recently I replaced the wheel bearings and axle shafts and felt the toe was off a little. I didnt want to take it back to where I have in the past because every time I had to make them do it 2 or 3x before it was right. I took it to another Firestone. I took in the TBS and showed them how it had to be done. I go back to get my car and ask about if they followed the TBS and they said OH, yeah that confused us at first because something didnt match up. You have a Dodge Stealth, not a Mitsubishi. WTF? I even still tried to explain to him it does not make a difference. Mitsubishi built it, it's a 3000GT VR4 for all/anything technically involved and he said, yeah it's a Dodge Stealth. It would have taken 2 extra minutes to do it correctly. read more

They tried to upsell me from potential rear brake pad replacements to over $2000 worth of brakes, shocks and a myriad of other repairs. I'd give a lower rating if I could. They damaged my alloyed wheels on my Mercedes and immediately denied any responsibility. It then took me 2 visits and five weeks for them to have someone in corporate refuse to stand behind their service. Brought my van in for a alignment and I was told a hour in a half to 2 hours. Called 2 hours after dropping it off and it wasn't even looked at yet. He said it would be over a hour until they could even start! Got suckered into this shop with a $19.99 oil change special. Scheduling was easy, the times were flexible. But just about everything after that was not what I would call pleasant. Upon getting my van back there were smudges on the steering wheel, the door handles (in and out), and on the hood. Clearly dirty hands were doing this and without care what paw prints he/she left all over the car. It isn't hard to wash your hands, is it? Second, the big insult and the kicker that promises I won't return, they do their complimentary inspections to basically tell you that your 10 year old car is indeed 10 years old and probably everything on it isn't as it was the day the car rolled off the assembly line. Listening to them rattle off the list of maintenances NEEDED is comical. And I say that with confidence because I just had my transmission flushed and my coolant exchanged at the Chrysler dealer last November, but I was told both needed replacement. I tried to keep a straight face. A simple look at either fluid would have seen the levels were fine and the fluids clean/new: clearly they didn't look. It's a shady practice to just rattle off a list of items people need "repaired/serviced" and HOPE they know none the better and trust your judgement. That's irresponsible and dishonest. Like a lot of places with cheap oil change promises, they change your oil for cheap. But what they really count on is telling you that everything on your car is falling apart and needs fixing. You can't trust a shop that relies on scare tactics to get business. Avoid. UPDATE: Corporate Firestone misses the point that it upsets customers when you see their employees try to take you (sell you services you DO NOT need), further enforcing my belief to avoid this shop. read more

I had a bearing go bad while I was visiting my family in South King County, and my dad offered to pay for it to be replaced, until Firestone told me that it would cost $1300 to replace the rear bearings, (yes both when only one was broken. They hadn't even LOOKED at the other bearing yet.) and that the part had crumbled in his hands when he took it apart. They told me on the phone they absolutely couldn't put it back together, and basically held my car hostage. Luckily I had taken four years of auto shop in high school and knew damn well I was being scammed, so I let it sit in their garage taking up a lift for three days, and then stormed in calling bull shit until they put it back together. I then drove it the sixty or some odd miles home on a now very loose and broken bearing and dropped it off at my regular shop in Bremerton, after hours with no prior notice. I wrapped the firestone estimate around my keys and dropped them in the mail slot. I called the next day early afternoon to see if they had found them and they told me not only was it done already, but it was only going to cost me a tenth of the estimated price from Firestone. $130 vs. $1300?? I will never use any Firestone shop again for anything! read more

Had a dented rim which lead to my tire being flat. I took it in to see if there was anything they could do. The man working there banged out the dent, put some adhesive on it, fill it with air, and balanced the tire. The best part was that he didn't charge me a dime for the work. I had a flat tire on my 21013 Kia, there is NO spare tire on this car so I needed to use the fill-a-flat stuff provided by the dealer. When I went to Auburn Firestone they told me it would be 29.95 to fix my flat! Well thats more than I expected but Im here so ok. then I explained that I used the filler....They said "oh well then we cant fix it"."You ruined your tire by using that stuff. That filler will rot out the inside of your tire." They said I need to buy a new tire at 160.00. I asked for my keys back and took it to the dealer.
