I recently brought my car to them to have new tires put on. With that I had no issues. I also knew I needed new brakes so I asked if they could give me a quote on that and let me know if if anything else needed to be replace to get the brakes done. They quoted me about $3000. They told me I needed to replace all 4 brakes, all 4 rotors, 2 rear calipers, the engine filter, cabin air filter and a a brand new battery as they said it was almost dead. The quote made me suspicious. I had changed the cabin air filter myself not 2 months prior. I also hadn't had any signs that there battery was dying. I took myself over to AutoZone and had them test the battery...94% health. Perfectly good battery no where close to dying but Firestone wanted to charge me almost $400 for a new one. I also brought my car to another independent mechanic shop (that actually had good reviews) and he replaced all 4 brakes, 2 rotors, and 2 rear calipers for $1500. So I found myself a new auto shop and it definitely isn't Firestone. read more

we came in to get brakes done on our jeep we called at 8am to make an appointment at 1130am they told us when we got there that it would be a 2 hour wait so we went shopping came back 2hrs later they didn't even touch the jeep yet and told us another 45 minutes we came back 45 minutes later and still they hadn't touched our jeep we pulled are car out of there without them touching it. a waste of our time i wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to come here. read more

These people can't even record a VIN number properly. It's because of them I wasn't able to register my car on time because they never recorded my emissions test properly. Terrible service. Totally dishonest workers. I took my car for a tire rotation. The mechanic returns to me and tells me that my rear windshield wiper and interior air filter is ripped and if i wanted to replace. I said No. I find it ironic that both of the above are ripped when i took it for an oil change 2 days before and had no ISSUES AT ALL. I dont understand how i am going for a tire rotation and the mechanic is looking in my glove box and my rear windshield. Clear this person ripped both of these these so that he can get a commission especially when i had oil change 2 days prior and no issues were found with either of them. AND this day that i took my car for tire rotation it rained and at NO TIME WERE MY REAR WIPER RIPPED. VERY DISHONEST ESTABLISHMENT. The issue isn't with the service, nor with the people at the front desk but with two of the mechanics. As I was waiting outside for my car to be brought in, the two technicians, one with my keys in his hand and one bringing in a White Malibu were talking back and forth about my particular vehicle, calling it "garbage", not realizing I was right there. I guess some would call an 06' M/B with 240k milesthat's used for work "garbage". However, if I brought my 16' M/B G63, or my 18' Ferrari 488 GTB there, would those be considered garbage? Who knows, but judging from someone that I'm sure barely makes $45k per year, which is half of what I make in a month, it wouldn't surprise me. Uncalled for and extremely low class! read more

Today I visited this Firestone location after the welding that connects my tail pipe and muffler broke off on the highway. I described the problem in the same exact way before requesting it to be clamped in order to resolve the issue and the worker looked at me like I was talking another language. I reiterated myself, once again and after my request, the Service Advisor (3 Alexis) stated they don't do welding (which is fine because I requested it to be clamped) and gave me an inspection price (which I already had done myself) of $21.99. Thinking this would be a helpful interaction, I had agreed to the inspection. When I turned away, I heard quiet banter and laughter right behind my back. Ignoring the situation, I waited patiently and after 23minutes, the manager called my name and insinuated that I get the entire exhaust replaced for "about $1900" and stated that they could not adhere to my clamping request. I kindly declined the suggestions and recommendations made by the technician (05 Jonathan) which consisted of a total of $3827.16 and included new tires (which I had just gotten changed two days before this for a very low fraction of the recommended pricing). After declining, I decided to make my way down the street to Napa and buy a clamp myself for $38. I changed it in the parking lot myself within 3 minutes and the issue was resolved. The car is fully functional and I had no problem getting on the road and going about my day. This was terrible service and the technician who brought my car to me didn't say a single word or show me said issues that were the reason for my car not being able to receive a clamp. This was terrible service. I took my care here to get a flat tire fixed. I waited for about two hours and when I finally got my car back they tried to sell me several other services I didn't need. Also, my tire was flat again about 3 hours later. When I took it to the next place they told me that Firestone hadn't made any attempt to fix my tire. I paid 60 dollars for nothing. I don't go here for exactly the same reasons that many are posting their negative reviews. You go in and they will "find" a 100 things wrong with any car. Mine was actually funny. The guy came out holding a sparkplug and told me "look how dirty this is - you need new sparkplugs." When I said to him that I had replaced those myself last week, he quickly ran away saying he thought that the mechanic had made a mistake!!! Sets reasonable expectations. They will text or call you as soon as the work is complete. They've got me tires in less than a day and approved me for 0 percent financing on my set of 4 tires. They price match the best that they can and have great road hazard warranty. I've been coming here for 10 years for my tires and some light maintenance. Only thing bad is Federal Rd traffic and there's no sidewalks so if you know it's going to be a while, get a ride. I however previously had a bad experience when going getting warranty work done on my Bridgestone tires. I brought my tire in because I saw looked like a nail through my tire and I was concerned. I was sent home and they said there were no issues with my tire. No patching was done and later my tire went flat and I was late to work the next day. I brought it in and they finally warrantied my tire. Even with the error I was charged fees. read more

Had a blowout in route from Princeton, NJ to Boston, MA, on I84 and called Firestone, they immediately answered the phone (several other tire stores had automated menus that sent you onto Muzak hold or voicemail). I had unique tires that Firestone did not have in stock so Ryan recommended other stores that might have them and said he could get them early tomorrow and to call him back if I struck out at other stores. I called him back, towed the car there and left it over night and continued to Boston. Next day he informed me two tires were damaged by a pot hole and was able to install both within the recommended pickup time. The price was reasonable and customer service was excellent. Never had an issue here so I'm confused by the other reviews. Been bringing my car here for the last 3 years and they've always been extremely straight with me. They recommend things that need to be replaced and know I only want to fix things that are safety issues since it's an old car. I've had mostly good experiences at this location, but often curious about some of the suggested services. The one manager that's been there the longest has always been friendly, helpful and I haven't ever felt like I was being cheated or taken advantage of by being upsold. The mechanics are limited and they really only focus on what they know. Asking to do more could cause more problems. It's best to use them service in the realm of tires, breaks, etc and go to a more thorough shop or dealer for extensive work. The problem for me always comes back to the quality and sustainability of the parts they use. Breaks pads, calipers or rotors; they seem to always need to be replaced after 4-6 months even with limited driving. I've stopped going here unless I can't get an appointment at the dealer. Since going to the dealer, I haven't had to change any parts as frequently as I was having to with Firestone. read more

A few things: - The workers and front desk people are fantastic and very nice. - I had four tires installed and they were all installed fantastic. Had a bit of a problem when I received my car back, the center hubcap was missing. I called the store and without hesitation they asked for my VIN number of the car and ordered me a brand new hubcap centerpiece free of charge with no hassle whatsoever. A very mature, professional, and organized full auto service center! Will be back next time I need anything for sure! The only reason this review did not get five stars is because the wait was extremely long....but I guess you get quality as they WERE working on the car for the entire time I was waiting, it was just sitting in the queue. read more

Horrible service. My daughter went there today to get an oil change. She calls me almost crying saying she doesn't have a 1000 dollars. They gave her a list of repairs that they said needed to be repaired immediately. I told her to just get the oil Done and leave. She went to work and told her boss what happened. He said that he went to get his oil Done and they gave him a list of repairs that cost 650 dollars. It's obvious that they are looking to take advantage of anyone they can. It would recommend that no one gives this place any business. Clearly management does not care. I've seen a number of bad reviews about how this establishment try's to scam people. Just because they respond saying there going to look into the problem means nothing. If there still giving outrageous estimates with all of these bad reviews only shows that nothing is being done. read more

Went to Firestone for an emissions test. Three people were ahead of me. It took 90 minutes before my car was taken. My sense is they do not value non-Firestone customers. An emissions test should not take 30 minutes. My guess is they don't want their mechanics spending too much time on no profit emissions test so they do one every 30 minutes. That's cool but if u don't want to provide the service, don't offer it. I gave them one star because there is a Chick-fil-A in walking distance. read more

They get the job done but try to trick you into paying the most for tires and front end alinement. The state should get after them for being sneaky in the way they play games to make money off you. Must be commission based sales people behind the service desk. Go someplace else if you want a fair deal on tires and front end alinement. Beware they will up sell unnecessary services. I went in fix to fix a abs issue. They fixed the problem the same day. The parts are about 30% higher than autozone. They tried to sell me a list of services ( alignment - which was recently done) (rack and pinion unit - which was already done with another mechanic) if your not experienced with cars they will take advantage of you besides that if you know what you need repaired and need it done same day they are good. Just be careful of the up selling that goes on. read more

I had my girlfriend take my car to get new tires for me in June of 16 because I was working. She calls me up and tells me they told her the car needed new breaks. Mind you these breaks were 6 months old. I just changed the breaks on 1/2/17 and there was still a fair amount of pad left!
