By far the worst experience I have had. I had a 4pm appointment to inspect my car for a tie rod and lower control arm replacement. When I called on Friday, they said Monday was open all day and I chose 4pm, after work. I get there and the front desk lady is like oh they're busy. They don't look at my car until 4:30. I see my car be driven back into the parking lot at 4:36pm and they come back and say I need new struts. I don't need new struts and they did not pull my car into the bay, lift, examine, lower, and then park back in the parking lot in 6 minutes. I did not receive an estimate for what I actually came in for, I walked away with an estimate of $1200 for something I don't need. I have always purchased my tires from here, never had a problem. They have lost a customer for life. Absolutely ridiculous - DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! read more

I made an appointment at the Goodyear and there was some mistake on the appointment status which was fine not their fault just a scheduling error. But I got there at 8:55 am and I didn't even get called over until 9:08 which I was then considered late. The seevice manager argued over what discount it was which I didn't care about and just wanted my car fixed. On my appointment it stated 4 new tires AND an oil change. I let them know that I worked at Carmax which was why I asked about the discount in the first place. It took them almost two hours to replace my tires and when I'm getting ready to pay I get told I need an oil change, I already knew this and that is why I asked for it. They then proceeded to say I could wait for a while longer while they did it after already waiting two hours. I am never going here again and I would not recommend it to others either read more

I created an appointment online today for 8 am and showed up 20 mins early. I talked with the guy, didn't get his name, and he said ok, just dropping off. I said no, I requested to wait for the car. He said well I don't know that the website told you but it will be 2-3 hours to wait. I told him that wasn't acceptable and left. There is a part of me that is thinking that service in our society is starting to really slip. This guy could care less if I left or sat in the waiting room for 3 hours. I was hoping to find a place to bring both of my vehicles and this experience is making me re-think that. read more

Ive been here a few times to have tires mounted that I purchased elsewhere online. They always do a good job by not scratching my wheels like other shops have done, and they use the right color matching wheel balancing weights. The last time the price was higher than I expected though ($233) for a four wheel mount and balance, a few years ago it was only around $100. read more

I'm surprised with all the poor reviews on this location. I've been coming here for years and have nothing but great things to say. Yes, car repairs take a long time and it seems some people aren't planning for that. I always plan ahead and just end up dropping my car off and leaving. The people have always treated me with respect and have never tried to "upsell" me on crap I don't actually need. I know they (like most businesses) are short-staffed so I am probably more patience with them than some others. read more

It's a tire dealership, so there's that. The oil changes are priced okay and come with a tire rotation. They have a lot of bays, free coffee, and cable tv on a flat screen. They don't have most tires in stock, at least from my experience. They can usually get it within a few hours to a day, but that isn't always convenient when your tire has a hole in the side of it. read more

I am giving Good Year two stars only because I was given an hour timeframe for them to do a safety check on my vehicle, and it ended up being over three hours of waiting. This was extremely inconvenient and frustrating as I had to cancel a meeting I had planned and other errands I had planned today. I stopped in because I noticed my back two tires were low. I am completely inept with cars so I pulled in without an appointment and asked if they could help. They not only checked all my tires filled up the back ones provided me with a cap for the tire that had lost And this was all free and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I took my car here for the brake inspection because my car was shaking when slowing down. I waited 90 min with appointment and they told me it all looked good. All my pads were fine, when I again stressed the shaking they said oh it might be your front rotors then if you feel it in the front. A month later I took it to Midas and now all of the sudden the rotors are bad and the pads in the REAR. I'm sorry, but your pads and rotors just don't come completely bad when you only drive 800 mi a month. read more

I went here for analysis of my check engine light. After waiting to be helped (in an empty store with one car in the garage) I was told that I could book for next week (which is too long anyway), and then the sales associate MW proceeded to treat me like an ignorant child: She informed me that a check engine light eval would be "a lot of money," as she gave a wincing face and said "probably about $120 just to look at it." I have the money to fix my own car. I even know enough to do a few at-home maintenance repairs, (check engine lights not being one of them). I am a working professional but I look young. Since this was my off day to fix my car, I was not wearing professional attire, making me look young and casual. I resent the fact that I was treated like an ignorant child by this sales rep. I took my car here when I got a flat tire just before Christmas because they are right near my house. They were nice upon coming in, and did have a relatively quick turnaround, but charged me way too much for just about everything. When they called me to tell me that my tire would need to be replaced, he also mentioned that my front brakes needed to be replaced as well, and asked if I wanted it done that day. They gave me a price quote of about $550 for the brakes and some song-and-dance story about how it was more complicated because my brakes were so worn down that it would be more labor intensive blah blah blah. I didn't have $550, so I said I would look into doing it in the new year. Took my car into a different place on the east side and they did the exact same thing for about $325. Yeah, I won't be taking my car back to this Goodyear unless it's on fire. read more

Went to get a "Quick" oil change today and ended up spending 2 hours waiting. This wouldn't surprise me if there were other cars before me but my truck was in the shop immediately after I gave the keys over. There is no reason a oil change in a shop should take longer than 20 min at the very max when there is no wait. I had come here a few times for an oil change. They were always friendly but generally the appointments took too long. The real kicker for me was when I went in to have brakes replaced. They called me an hour after I dropped the car off saying that the calipers needed replacing and that it had to be done and for a hefty price (more than three times the cost of the brakes). Since it was such a major repair, I figured I'd give my old mechanic at another Goodyear branch in Port Washington a call and see if the price seemed right. He told me that he could do the same job for $300 less. When asked why they were going to charge me that much more for the same work at the same franchise, they couldn't even give a reason. Needless to say, I told them to pack it up and that I'd take the job elsewhere. I'm incredibly disappointed since they had always been so friendly and the location was so convenient, but I can't help but think that they took advantage of the fact that I was a woman and saw an easy target for excessive charges. I went here to get new tires and my oil changed in December of 2014. The next time I needed to change my oil I decided to do it myself only to discover they put lock tight on my drain plug. It might not have been their fault if it was stripped but they said nothing about it to me and it would have been nice if they told me. I found a shop in Waukesha that I was going to go to for an oil change but decided on Goodyear instead because it was closer to me and the price online said it was $19.95 + $2.5 in disposal fee. I tried to book an appointment and after entering all my info and the website said there was an error. I called in to ask if the appointment went through and the woman on the other line said it didn't because they were fully booked for the day (the website shows multiple time slots available though). She said she could book an appointment for me and I clarified the price with her since the website says that booking online would save me $5. She said she would honor whatever price was listed on the website. When I went to check in, they had me sign a sheet that said I would be paying $25. They guy pointed out the price and the disposal fee and then said "after taxes, it will be $25." I signed the form, but the more I thought about it, the more the numbers didn't make sense. I waited in line to ask about it and the guy pointed out the same things to a customer in front of me (price + disposal fee + taxes = $25). I asked to see the bill again and after he printed it out, I asked how much tax is. He didn't answer me, but I noticed there was an additional "Shop Supplies" fee. I said that wasn't listed in the price online and I was told that they would honor the online price when I booked my appointment. He said, "That price does not show up until we print the bill." Granted, the charge wasn't a lot, I was appalled. Not only did they not honor their online prices like they told me they would - they hid the fees from their customers and justifies their actions by saying they don't show up until the bill is printed. The only pros to this company? There is free water and coffee and I got to stay cool under the sun with all the shade going on in this company. Definitely driving the extra 10 minutes to Waukesha for the cheaper price and upfront pricing next time. read more

They charged about double the average flat tire repair. They did not even discuss what was wrong with the tire nor the price. It was an easy repair, and their one redeeming quality was speed. They didn't even have to take off or put on the tire. I would ask for estimate before doing any business there. read more

I lost a wheel cover just after getting my tires rotated & an oil change at this shop. I wrote an online review of the service they performed which was complimentary except of course for the issue of the lost wheel cover. Within a day of writing my review I got a call from Tyler from the shop. He said they would buy me a new set of wheel covers or find the perfect match for my lost one. The next a day he called and said he couldn't find the perfect match so instead he has 4 sets of 4 wheel covers that I can choose from as a replacement. I chose one and they installed them at NO COST and they were super friendly about the issue. Great Customer Service. read more

I will not go back to this dealership for work on my car, and the sad thing is that I was referred here by a family friend. I brought my car in, because it was not running smoothly. They diagnosed it as a fuel filter, quoted me a price which was a bit higher than I was expecting, but gave the go ahead to fix it. I do not drive my car a whole lot (just to work and back for the most part), and it seemed to be running fine. About a month after I had my car fixed, I took a trip back to Minneapolis. On the way back from Minneapolis (around Tomah), my car started having the same symptoms that my car was having before it was fixed. I called Dick, the manager of this location, let him know what was going on, and how whatever they had "fixed" was no longer working. He told me to bring it back in and that they would take a look at it, and if it was their error, I would be reimbursed. Well, that would've been all well and good...except for the fact that before I could even get there, my car completely shut down on 94 outside of Delafield. By this time, the store was closed, and it was in the middle of a massive rainstorm with basically no visibility--which made me nervous that I was going to get clipped from behind. So I finally got a tow truck out to where I was, which took about an hour. The closest service center was a Tires Plus location. They diagnosed my car and found that Goodyear had fixed the wrong part--it was actually the fuel pump driver module. Tires Plus fixed it the right way, and my car has been running great since. I then called Goodyear, let them know about the hell that I went through between breaking down, not having my car again, etc... They refunded what it cost me to fix the fuel filter and labor. But they did not refund the diagnostics cost, and there was one other service that they did, that they claim I agreed to. I have no recollection of giving them permission to do anything beyond the fuel filter. So needless to say, I am still out some money on this whole deal. Plus the whole experience of being stranded on 94 due to the wrong part being fixed doesn't sit particularly well with me either. read more
