I booked an appointment online for the next morning super easily. However I never got a response until a half hour before telling me they could fit me in for the scheduled time. That's my only complaint! The guys here are very simple and don't make you feel bad for not knowing what's wrong with your car. For instance, I told them it was making a funny noise under the hood... that's all I know. They took my car and suggested a few things and gave me prices. Fair Manager, But Corporate Pricing and Communication Were Disappointing I brought my 2018 F-150 to this Firestone for a misfire and some basic maintenance. The technician and manager were polite, and the manager genuinely tried to help -- he removed the diagnostic fee and gave me another $50 off when I questioned the pricing. I don't blame him personally; he was working within the constraints of a corporate system. However, the overall experience made it clear that Firestone's corporate pricing and processes are simply not in line with what I consider reasonable. They charged $35 per spark plug for OEM plugs that typically cost around $10-15 each. The ignition coil was also significantly marked up compared to retail prices. Even after the manager applied discounts, the total was still over $600 for spark plugs, one coil, and an oil change. I also asked them to replace the coil boots while doing the spark plugs. They didn't do it and didn't let me know they weren't doing it. I only found out afterward. Not the end of the world, but it would have been nice to be notified, especially when the job requires taking everything apart anyway. The diagnostic process felt inconsistent as well -- at one point, I had to clarify the direction of the misfire diagnosis and ask them to test it under proper load conditions. While they did fix the misfire, the path to get there didn't inspire much confidence. Ultimately, while the manager was respectful and did what he could, the combination of inflated corporate pricing, incomplete communication, and the need for me to guide parts of the process makes it hard for me to recommend this location. I won't be returning, but I appreciate the manager's effort to help within the limits he had. read more

Communication was poor. Was told one thing prior to appointment and learned the hard way that when your told a service will take 1.5 hours it really means 3 hours. And when you're told you will get a mail in rebate but forget to tell you have to use their credit card. Good communication is key to good customer service. read more

Had appt for 1 to change out tires to snow tires. Also need tire sensors replaced. Was told would be 1.5 hours, after two hours still not done. At 3 hours asked what was going on and told employee I needed to leave, they told me they wouldn't be able to do alignment. I never asked for or authorized an alignment. I will never bring my car back to this store ever again. In the past, I've had questionable service/repairs done, but my last visit takes the cake. I called in ahead of time to make an appointment to put on my snow tires, explaining that I would need my car back by 2:00pm. Over the phone, I was told that this would not be an issue. However, over the course of the appointment, there were several issues that I encountered. To begin, I was hoping to drop my car off outside of hours. I called firestone the night before and they were closed three hours early. I understand the need to adjust hours due to staffing issues, but it would've been nice if the hours posted online were accurate. I have used an after hours drop off with this specific store before, so I went ahead and dropped my car off before the store opened. Once open, I received a call from the store confirming that they received my car and would begin working on it. At this time, the customer service representative mentioned that there was a price increase for switching over my tires. I agreed to pay this, but it felt like a predatory practice because this should have been discussed prior to confirming the appointment. At this point I had already dropped my car off and I was at work for the day; I had no choice but to accept the increased price. I did not hear again from firestone until after the store had closed. Apparently they called every phone number (my dad & sister) on the account except for my own. Other than that, they made no effort to contact me. This is despite the fact that I called the store FOUR times within the hour that they were scheduled to close in hopes that I could get an update on my car Eventually, I just decided to show up and check on the status of my vehicle. It was ready, but there's no way I could've known because again I didn't receive any communication from the store itself. Once I was in the store, I was scolded for dropping my car off using the overnight deposit box, I was also told that it was my fault that firestone called my family members and not me because we had multiple people on the account. I understand that it can be confusing for the customer service representatives if there are multiple phone numbers on one account, but they clearly made no effort because they never called my phone number. Regardless, I paid and left the store. As soon as I got into my car, I noticed my tire air pressure light was on. So, they clearly did not check the air pressure of my tires before returning my vehicle. To top it all off, I woke up this morning with a flat tire, another glaring sign that they didn't even take the time to ensure that my car was safe to drive before leaving their premises. I had a terrible customer service experience during my recent oil change appointment. First, I was told that my appointment was made for a different day, despite my confirmation email. After some arguing, Paul (the branch manager) said they will try to fit me in, if I drop off the car for the day, so I did. I authorized an oil change, free wheel alignment (included with my tires), and break fluid change if it is needed. 1.5 h later I called to get an item from my car, but was told it was ready for pick up. I paid $72.46, got my courtesy checklist, keys, and left the car in the parking lot until later that evening. 2.5h later, I received a voicemail, stating that I "got invoiced on the wrong invoice" and that I paid on the wrong vehicle asking me to return and pay $365.47. Courtesy checklist has my vin and milage, is signed by technician, and states: nothing is needed besides oil change and battery corrosion guard. Pictures of engine and cabin filters included. When I called to discuss extra charges, this time Paul said they were for an oil cap, which I supposedly authorized to install over a phone call. This is a lie. When I brought up the fact that it is unlikely that 1.5 h was a sufficient amount of time to have my car serviced, oil cap ordered, shipped and installed, to which Paul responded with "your car was not ready in the morning". Then why did he say it was ready when I called? Why was my car parked in the parking lot when I came to retrieve it at 11:15am? Why did the technician falsify the courtesy checklist? Why did Paul take my payment? The only explanation I have for this is discrimination. He thinks that because I am a young looking female, I don't know anything about cars, can't check my own air filter and can not fend for myself. He saw me as an easy target he can use to increase his store's production numbers. Paul was very rude on the phone and accused me of being "that person who just does not want to pay her bill", even though I did pay my bill when I picked up my keys. I drove up to the store at 4:45pm, ready to show the courtesy check list provided to me at my previous appointment, Paul refused to look at my documentation, or to show me itemized bill that caused such a large price increase. He stated that he already sent me to collections, the store is closed and he is going home, and that I should come back during normal business hours (according to official store hours this branch should have been open for additional 15 minutes). I left. Two weeks later, I have finally received the invoice, but this time for $94.18 for engine and cabin filters. According to signed courtesy checklist and my visual inspection (see included photo) , they have not been replaced. Paul's behavior towards me was unacceptable, unprofessional, condescending, and fraudulent. I can not believe this person manages Firestone, what an embarrassment! I can only imagine what kind of other number fudging is going on behind the scenes. I have been a customer of Firestone/Hibdon tires for over 15 years and have never encountered such lack of professionalism and accountability from anyone, especially a manager. I really hope management takes a closer look at Paul and his managing practices. He is representing the Firestone brand. I am going to file a lawsuit against Firestone for consumer fraud, discrimination, defective products ("new" filters are not acceptable). When I went to them to get a broken headlight fixed, it was an average experience. Nothing to write home about. Like other reviews mention, the online scheduling process isn't great, but it worked out. The problem is - this appointment was 6 months ago and the headlight is burnt out again. The same headlight they replaced. My other headlight is fine, and I got it replaced over a year ago elsewhere. For an appointment that was on the expensive side of a headlight replacement, the communication wasn't great and the headlight burning out really solidifies that I won't be coming back to this location. read more

I arrived at the shop 10 minutes before they were going to close and was greeted by two very friendly and professional guys...Eddy and Nick! I told them the tire light came on and that I found the culprit, a big screw in the right rear tire. Eddy told me it would not be a problem, he asked me to come in and I handed the keys to Nick, A few minutes later the tire was fixed and I was on my way. I cannot thank Eddy and Nick enough for being so willing to help me even though it was so close to closing time. Tires: 4 stars. First time here for this, so I don't want to go 5 stars just yet. Gave me an excellent recommendation which was different from the tires I originally picked out. Service was excellent. Other services: so so, hence 2 stars. Consumers have a lot of options and when I go to a brand for my car maintenance I need good value for my money. They recommended an alignment when I had tires put on. I came back for that a few weeks later. They took a bit longer than the initial estimate but did only the rear (i.e. half the job for the full price). Then I asked for a quote on shocks and struts. Their estimate came to a more than 100% markup on the retail price for parts and the same for labor: double the amount of time it would take someone to do the job in their driveway. It seems I can't recommend Firestone. read more

Some front-end work needed to be done by Dodge, and Dodge made my vehicle out of alignment (my opinion) and I ruined my tires by driving on them. They kept in contact with me with special regards and were time conscious, friendly and honest. Brought my car in about two months ago to get the heat fixed. We were told it worked just fine but when I tried the heat it was still cold. I brought it back and they fixed it and it works great now. However, they returned it to me with a large part of the car missing (plastic piece under the steering wheel) and scratches all over the climate control. It was scratched so badly that light shined through it at night. They said they would look for the parts but regardless of how many times we called, we waited about a month before anything happened. They finally replaced the parts. I just picked it up and now there is excessive scratching in the plastic under the climate control unit from where they were either prying it out or trying to push it back in. Since it was such a great deal (I found online) I really expected a hard upsell and they didn't do any of that. I purchased a lifetime wheel alignment for $169 several years ago. I stopped in for a quick alignment check which turned out to be necessary. I have purchased the lifetime alignment for all 3 of my cars. Considering the average alignment costs about $79 each, $169 is a deal since I get my alignment done at least 3-4 times a year. Torn. Sande was a decent service rep. Not his fault that he only had 2 guys that showed up for work that day - though I wonder why he would tell me to come in at 4:00 PM for tires the same day he knew he was short-staffed. Very honest shop. I went in to have 2 tires replaced. I left with a simple removal of a nail in one and a patch installed. Not that many places would have been that honest - the tires would have made them significantly more money. Smallish waiting area with coffee and a water fountain. I was mostly annoyed at the waiting time. I arrived at 4 PM for my appointment and did not leave the facility until around 5:30 PM. Perhaps I am spoiled by Discount Tire. Honestly, if Discount Tires were allowed to carry Firestone tires I would probably just go back there. Not a horrible experience overall and the shop and waiting area were kept clean. More disappointed in the lack of respect for my time - although Sande did keep me informed of progress updates on my vehicle. The BMW dealership would've charged me a $99 diagnosis fee + additional repair fee, and after dealing with their rude customer advisor, I decided to try out Firestone instead. Could not be happier with their level of service. Justin helped me immediately, took the car in and had it fixed in 10 min and said since it was an easy fix, was free of charge. I also asked about their serpentine belt cost for part and labor. They quoted me at half the price that Toy Car Care wanted and that's what I paid! They check everything while your car is back there and don't try and "make" things need repair or replacement as so many shops are doing lately. I also was telling him I couldn't get a bolt off to change my license plate and he did it for me and put my new registration stickers on! My rating is technically about a 3.5. They did a good job (Iike I can even tell what they did when I wasn't there?) and they didn't try to UPSELL me, which I LOATHE. I got a new battery installed, a computer diagnostic on my non-starting vehicle that had sat in one place for a year, a fuel line clean-out, and an itemized inspection, all for about $298. The battery alone (an Interstate) would have cost about $80 or more, and it was an annoying side-terminal battery that I was having trouble dismounting myself anyway, so it was worth the labor cost to have them do it. They seemed honest, but you never know. They said my car was in "great shape" and "running good" (adverb error duly noted by me) and I appreciate that they didn't lie their asses off. With mechanics, HONESTY is the name of the game. Sure, this store may lie to everyone else, but they didn't lie to me this time, at least. They finished the work fast, ACTUALLY called me when it was done (unlike MOST shops, where you sit around all day wondering when they'll call you, then you find out that your f-ing car was done like two hours ago) and did nothing more or less than what I asked them to do. I'd give them more stars, but I'm VERY stingy with auto shops' ratings. They have to EARN BACK the respect they lost from me over the years. I've been ripped off a ton, as I'm sure most of you have, and I demand high levels of service and honesty. Anyway, based on my experience, I'd go back for minor work, sure, and their bays were packed with cars, which is a good sign. Also have a nice waiting room, which can seem whiny and snotty to complain about unless you've spend a long time in CRAP waiting rooms, such as at Peerless Type Co. Me and my girlfriend just moved here from Florida and went here to get our oil changed and tires rotated, we talked to eddy (big guy with a tattoo on his hand) we specifically asked for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. He said sure no problem and told us it would be an hour and a half. So we left and went shopping, 2 and a half hours later we came in to check in because they never called us, and they were done with out car but they "forgot to give the desk the paperwork" and they DIDN'T ROTATE OUR TIRES and tried to blame me and say I never said that. Then said it would be another hour to rotate them. They didn't even say sorry or anything treated us like scum. Overall a bunch of assholes work here. My wife and I initially went to Firestone on 11/12/16 for both of our vehicles to get an oil change. At first it took longer than anticipated, however, the manager, Michael M., was extremely helpful and apologized for the delay and got us taken care of in no time at all. We then set up our appointments for our winter tires for Friday, 11/18 and Sunday, 11/20. Michael really made sure that we were in and out in no longer than a couple of hours. I would highly recommend this Firestone location to everyone! The team there is so helpful and Michael, the manager, is really on the ball and thorough when explaining everything that was done/ was going to be done. I've been in here a couple times and one instance I saw a guy get fired and yelled at right in front of other customers. Not cool. The particular person at the counter there isn't very friendly either. I did have some work done here once and it was adequate. But outside of that, my initial impression isn't great. I get it when you're busy you're cranky but it's not the customer's fault so I expect a reasonably pleasant person to help me, not cranky pants. I look at the whole experience. I wish t could give them ZERO star!! Their tires are relatively cheap but they're defective and deadly dangerous! I had four tires replaced at this place. But a few months later and at less than 20,000 miles, I noticed some problems in my car like shaking steering wheel and back tires noise. So I got my car back to these guys, and they looked at the tires and said the four tires are chopped/cupped. I told them it has not been a year since I got them, so what the hell caused that!! They said it's because the struts damaged them!! I looked at the struts and they were not leaking oil at all!! I asked them about the warranty and they said no warranties when the damage is caused by the struts!! They gave me over $1500 estimate to replace the struts, and the tires. I didn't believe them on the struts, so I took my car to the dealer maintenance service and they said that the struts are OK and the problem is just in the tires. They even told me that they have seen the same problem with Firestone tires and these tires have a pretty bad reputation. So I replaced the four tires with Yokohama and the problem went away. Lesson learned, Firestone is the worst tires I have ever tried and their warranty is just a joke. They don't want to acknowledge that their tries are crap, so they said the tires were damaged by the struts to make their customers fool! Needless to say that I won't go to anyplace with a Firestone sign! read more
