After my poor review, I was contacted by Firestone saying they would like to fix they issue. I was told "someone" would contact me. I reached out several times and no one ever responded. I took my car to a different shop to have the tires balanced - and they said that Firestone just continued to add more weights to the wheels and that there were indeed out of balance. I don't think Firestone knows how to balance wheels at all - which should be a core competency of theirs. I recommend taking your car elsewhere. read more

This is almost my own fault, as I should have read the MANY one star reviews and stayed away. This location has the slowest service, which is frustrating when you watch employees stand around and chat with each other. We also overpaid- they charged us $80 for a quoted service of $55 with no explanation of the price increase. We will not be coming back here, or frankly- any other firestone location. read more

I made an appointment to get the oil changed on my work vehicle. I dropped the van off on Friday evening. Everything was supposed to be done by Sunday at noon. I think that a day and a half is more than enough time for an oil change. Here it is Sunday at 4:50 pm and it still isn't finished. This is ridiculous. I never received a phone call letting me know they were running late either. I guess it now takes 48 hours for an oil change. read more

WORST automotive repair in all of CO (Castle Rock). They forgot to put lug nuts back on my front tire after doing the brakes, had the front end of my truck shaking like crazy on the highway, called them back and the rudest associate known to customer service said, was nothing we did, go get an alignment. Two highway trips later, looked at the tires, noticed they forgot one lug nut and the one opposite of it was tightened by a 3rd grader, and the store managers response was, my associate should have said bring it in so we can look at it. Then he was supposed to set me up to get it fixed, but went home for the day and left me hanging in CO Springs re-inventing the process to get my vehicle put back together. GUESS WHAT, no more front end shaking, reached out to regional manager, NO RESPONSE, reached out to corporate at least 4-5 times, and a very pathetic apology from them basically said, we will make it mandatory to do torque checks from now on (called from a blocked number, no return number to call back...basically, we don't want to hear it). Sitting in the lobby as I write this. I was on my way to Thornton for work when I got a flat on my Bridgestone Driveguard tire. Came in at exactly 7 am was told the car won't be gotten to till the afternoon. Yet an employee of the shop comes in with his mother and his mother's car was pulled right in. I completely understand a busy shop even a shop that is backed up and a little behind. Yet to see something along those lines is just ridiculous and unacceptable. Even worse is knowing that the Driveguard is flat and has been driven for 25 miles the shop wants to look at it before ordering a tire they don't have in stock or I had the option to drive my run flat to its limit and go to the Parker location. I have been in many Firestone's and never seen this kind of customer service response. Update to the review, I called at 5 pm after having gotten the car that at 7 pm and it hadn't even been looked at. I was told it was next up. I work in Thornton and the flat happened on my way to work. So an hour and a half later I pull into Firestone and the car is in the exact same place I left it 12 hours ago. I spoke to the salesman and he told me his service manager James said he told me he wouldn't get to it today. Which was a lie I then asked if the tired had even been ordered he told me no. I asked what time the tire would get in and the car be ready he said if he ordered it then it would get in around 9:30ish in the morning. I was like ok great I have to be at work at 8 am. I asked who the store manager was and he said there isn't one currently due to transition. The person who helped me out was very professional and understood my frustration. A very frustrating experience and to know James was in a management position and allowed this to happen is unacceptable. Definitely, hope the new management can turn around this store. read more

Such poor customer service. I had a scheduled appointment and showed up 15 minutes early. They didn't take my vehicle in the shop until 45 minutes into my "1 hour promised" appt. after waiting another 30 min I told them I needed to get back to work and they said it almost done. So I waited another 10 minutes. The "manager" then brought me my keys and said we got backed up and couldn't get to it and asked if I could come back tomorrow. Frustrating since I bought the tires here and was coming in for the free Rotation service. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. This is the second time I have taken my company vehicle to this place for service. The first time they did not check the other fluids nor did they check tire pressure since the TPMS was lit up on the dash. The second time I dropped it off at 11 AM, they said they would need all day I said no problem I will be back at 5:45, they said great it will be done. When I arrived at 5:45 PM they said oh it's been really busy and we will have it done soon. So after sitting around waiting for 45 mins they finally finished. I guess for an oil change, checking the air in the tires, checking fluids, and I guess the front brakes were bad they need longer then 7hrs. I will never return and I will let my fleet service know how poor of work they do. read more

Within a span of three days, I had two urgent issues come up with my car. The first was the necessity for snow tires, which didn't dawn on me until the polar vortex was just a few hours away and I was starting to think about the dangers of icy roads in a front-wheel drive car. After listening kindly to my back story (woops, sorta left this until the last minute because I'm new to this whole snow thing, sorry!), Steve explained a couple pricing options to me, both of which would send me away on good quality snow tires, but one of which was with top of the line tires. Never once did I feel pressured by Steve to get the top-of-the-line tires. I only felt well-informed about both sets of tires we discussed, and my choice was made because of what I wanted and not because of what someone told me that I should have. I was given an appointment that very same day and was in and out of the shop in 1 hour and 15 minutes, the estimated time I was quoted, despite the fact that the tire pulling machine needed to be serviced at the start of my time slot and despite the fact that the service bay was full. The prices were reasonable for a full set of high quality snow tires and labor. Two days later and my low coolant message popped up when I turned my car on in -1 degree weather. Called the shop, was told to stop by, and again was in and out in an unbelievably quick time frame, despite the fact that the service bay was full of vehicles. I was sent home with topped off fluid. No costly tests pushed on me. The option for a coolant system pressurization test was offered if the problem recurred, and the price quoted was great. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest during both encounters. No slimy sales tactics, and no telling me something was wrong when it wasn't. The place seemed quite busy during both visits, but I found them to be very accommodating with last-minute appointments, and also witnessed them working hard to accommodate new customers that came into the lobby needing drop-in service. Great experience, great shop, and as new residents with our first major car expense dropped on us by this polar vortex, they sure did make us feel welcome to the neighborhood. read more

He hooked my car up to the code reader to make sure my car wasn't reading anything harmful, all free of charge. Simply asking that we send some business his way in return. I took my truck in for a pre-purchase inspection and they gave my truck a clean bill of health. Two days later the belt bearing completely disintegrated while driving. After that I want to swap tired and their mechanics had tightened my lug nuts so tight with their air wrenches that I broke my bar trying to take them off. My husband and I were on our way to work when our car started to over heat. We came to firestone at 8:30am and it is currently 1:30 and they are still not done looking at it. They take their time and have no consideration for others. They aren't even busy. There is no resin for us to have to be here for over 5 hours. read more

Bad customer service! Had a scheduled appointment and it took 2.5 hours to PLUG a tire not even Patch it! They didn't even take the spare off and put the regular tire back on. My son also had to put his own tire into his car and come home and put the fixed tire on! Talking to the store manager was just as pointless! "He could have waited another 2 hours as we couldn't do it then"! Really, he had an appointment for this, so schedule properly and COMPLETE a job!! Also, you need to have better customer service, training and don't take advantage of people! First and last time at this location our home location has always been excellent! DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME. Took my fleet vehicle in on a Tues to get a LOF and get tires approved/scheduled. Got an appt at 10am for the following Sunday, dropped my keys off in lock box early Sunday AM for brakes, tires, and wipers. Got a message at 11:37 Sunday AM saying that the tires weren't in and they need their "master mechanic" to work on my brakes, was told tires would be in Monday AM. Monday rolls around, get a call at 3:34pm, still no tires, no brakes, wipers weren't done. Just lame excuses about how they ordered them. It's a work vehicle, I scheduled an appt for a reason, I can't just leave my vehicle till they finally get the tires in. I picked up my keys and scheduled the job at another (not Firestone) shop. read more

I really don't like to go here, but not following through with promise is not acceptable to me. Had a set of winter tires mounted and balanced last Monday 10/21 on a recently purchased used vehicle with 10 and 11" offset rims. When we bought the car I noticed a couple lightly scuffed areas on a couple of the rims but nothing major, its a 2014. When I picked it up I immediately noticed several scuffs on the edges and some pen size scratches across a few of the spokes. I pointed it out to the GM of the shop, I think his name is Ben. He didn't deny directly that it couldn't have happened there but did say they looked like older dirty scuffs. He had the technician clean them up since there was clearly residue from the changeover on the rims. The technician told me there was no way the issue came from their machine, that it doesn't touch the face of the rims. These are very expensive OEM rims and extend a bit beyond the lip of the rim in several places. I left and took the vehicle home. My wife immediately asked if those scratches and rim rashes were on it when we bought it just 3 weeks before and my adult son clearly said he noticed more scuffs and scratches when he inspected them. I immediately called Ben (I hope I have his name right) and he held his position of not taking any responsibility for the damage. He said he would have the district manager Mike Strickland call me. It's been one week and no call. I wouldn't think there equipment would do damage but I don't have any other explanation. I always look closely at the wheels and the front seat entry when looking at and purchasing used cars, those are the easiest area for a novice like me to see how a vehicle has been used from a external view. I'm very disappointed, been using Firestone in Parker and Castle Rock for almost 20 years since we moved to CO. read more

I'm really tired of people being incapable of doing their JOB!! On October the 8th my boyfriend brought his old Chevy van in. A couple days prior he called Firestone to see if he could setup an appointment for his Chevy van to get his valves adjusted. He told them what year it was and that it was old and it's also miss firing. The people at Firestone said that they couldn't do anything unless we bring it in for a diagnostic. My boyfriend said he would do that, and they just told him to come in when they open on Monday the 8th (didn't set up an appointment). Fast forward to the morning of the 8th, we come in right when they open, they said they would run the diagnostic and call us with information. They call us and said that they can't do anything. Apparently they don't work on carburetors that old!!! Did they tell us that when my boyfriend called them and told them the year? No! Did they tell us when we brought the car in and they could see it was old? No! They told us hours later! After they "ran" the diagnostic. They even told my boyfriend "the valves might need adjusted"!!! We already knew that!! They charged him $100 to tell him that they can't do anything, when they should have known sooner and not have wasted our time and money. And to top it all off! One of the incompetent workers forced my boyfriends van into park, and now it won't go into park! I'm beyond angry. read more

Had an unusual noise, maybe muffler issue? They inspected the vehicle at a minor cost and found the noise to be related to a loose connection regarding the muffler. They quickly tightened it and called me back letting me know I was all taken care of. Honest and up front with no further repair costs. I brought my vehicle in because of an oil leak near the front, right by the oil filter. He opens my hood and lifts up my car on the rack. he's pointing his little flash light all over the place and I said, I believe the oil filter might be loose and leaking oil can we tighten that? He says that's not where the leak is. I look up and the oil filter is drenched in oil! I reach up grab a handful of oil on my hand and show it to him, he tells me that's not the leak, and will not even attempt to tighten it. Later he told me they only hand tighten oil filters. WHATTTT! No wonder it might be leaking. He's pointing his little flash light here and there and says he suspects I have multiple oil leaks and ADVISES we should do a dye test. I just keep looking at that oil filter and I say to him, I no longer trust you, I don't want you working on my vehicle any more. Another worker lowers my vehicle to the floor with this guy and his flash light standing near the passenger side of my vehicle. Instead of closing my hood so I can leave he starts taking my oil cap reservoir tube out and proceeds to pull off my ENGINE COVER and proceeded to start messing around on the passenger side of my vehicle. I told him...What are you doing? I told YOU I don't want you working on my vehicle. No reply just keeps at it with a flash light in one hand and his other moving this and doing that and I tell him louder and I'm getting mad....QUIT working on my vehicle. (Ignores me). I tell him again.... QUIT WORKING ON MY VEHICLE!!!!! Finally he puts my engine cover back on and screws down my oil cap and closes my hood and tells me to exit the shop NOW or he's calling the law! He told me that because I was raising my voice telling him to quit working on my car. I told him when a man tells you to stop working on his vehicle I mean now. I felt paranoid to leave the shop with my car still in there. The guy brings my car out and I ask him why he defied my direction to stop working on my vehicle, he says, I wanted to go above and beyond the call of duty for you. I told him I was calling The Corporate office on him he said go ahead. I call Corporate and file a complaint about everything wrote here on this page. I strongly recommend to every one to NEVER to go to this shop. Since then I have contacted the BBB and gave them a full report. read more

Even though not all the front staff know how long it takes to get different jobs done on different vehicles and in turn mis quote estimated completion times by a long shoot, the manager Del does everything he can to get the vehicles done as quickly as they can by still making sure is done right, and does his best to wrk with the customers to correct errors made in quoting completion times. read more

Incompetent mechanics! Had to make 4 trips to fix a simple issue, ended up spending $2,500 to get everything resolved over the course of 2 weeks. The manager is a great sales person, but I wouldn't trust the mechanics ability to even do a simple oil change. So many misdiagnosis issues it makes me sick. The absolute worst experience ever. I should have listened to the reviews but I figured that it was just regular scheduled maintenance, and it shouldn't be a big deal. So I bring my car in for for scheduled maintenance before a weekend road trip because I don't have time to do it myself and I don't want to get my garage messy. Part of the service of course is an oil change, they tell me that I need a new drain plug, I thought that it was weird since my car is only 5 years old and I have always had my oil changed professionally but whatever how much can a drain plug be and maybe it will save me a headache in the future. I go home ready for my road trip and as my family is ready to go I realized that I forgot something, head back to the house and find a substantial amount of oil on the garage floor. I take my packed car and family back to firestone and the attendant unapologetically tells me that they will check it but there's some people ahead of me so I will have to wait, the older of the two attendants hears me complain and suggest to the guy helping me to use a different kind of lift in order to help me right away. After some moments they come back and tell me that the drain plug was loose so they needed to tightened it up. Without an apology I'm sent out the door but I remain positive and I think that it's okay people make mistakes, plus I wanted to get on the road. So I still have this mess in my garage from the leak that I have to take care of, now I have to buy clean sweep and deal with the hazardous waste. The next weekend I notice more oil on my garage floor and this time I decide to check it myself. With the engine off (after about a half hour of driving) the drain plug has a leak that forms a drop after about 45 seconds. I bring the car back to firestone and I get the same attendant as last time and again without a drop of compassion he takes my car in and after some time I am told "your drain plug is short, it only has 6 threads and it doesn't have enough bite " I told him "that's the drain plug that you sold to me" he told me "well we can just order what's on the computer" but they have one coming that is 10 threads long. The guy told me "cross your fingers". I guess that their computer magically let them order a different one. Once I got my car back the guy checks me out and that was the end of the transaction, The attendant didn't have one ounce of apology in his voice did not apologize or do anything to try to keep me as a customer. Once I exited the door, someone did come out of the garage door and thanked me for my patience but no one ever took ownership of the mistake or apologized. So at the end of it all this oil change took three of my Saturday afternoons, and left a big mess on my garage floor. read more
