I brought my car here for an inspection, dropped it off and went to get some lunch. While I was eating I got a call that my truck needed a plate light and then it would be able to pass it's inspection. They told me the bulb would be $16 (which was absolutely outrageous, but I didn't want to fail my inspection). So you can imagine my surprise when I came back to pick up my truck and it had failed for "not ready" sensors. I was livid, how can you say that it will for sure pass inspection if I buy this part and not know for sure. I can't accept lying. They did give me the bulb for "cost" at $3.21 and told me that the truck just needed more miles before an inspection. So I drove to Winston Salem and back. So you can probably understand how upset I was when the truck again failed for not ready sensors. I have since discovered that milage is only one part of readiness from another shop and will not be back here for service beyond buying tires. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I had an appointment at 9 AM, arrived at 8:50. I waited in the lobby for a few minutes before someone asked if I needed help. Once I checked in, I sat down and waited patiently for them to take my car into a bay. After waiting 40 minutes, car still in the same spot and 2 other individuals coming in, who by the way, got there cars into bays before mine, I told them to give me my key and walked out. After going to Firestone for about 3 years now, that place will never receive any type of business from me. NEVER. AGAIN. read more

Horrible service. Made an appointment for a simple oil change at 10:30 then they proceeded to hold my car for an hour and a half (without doing any work on it) told me I had a problem with the drain plug for my oil so I told them to go ahead and fix that as well. They have yet to even start my oil change and it is now 1:00. I do not recommend coming here if you are tight on time. Service is vague and apparently takes all morning/after noon. read more

I can not speak HIGHLY enough of Quan! Quan has always been the most helpful, pleasant, person for all of my car needs! No one wants to have car trouble, but if/when you do, trust that he will make sure you get the quickest, best, and most cost affective service. I had a horrible experience at this store. on 12/14/22 I take my car to the University location, they usually do good work. I was Miss quoted for a brake job just over $600, did half the job they quoted, and didn't secure two of my tire on my vehicle. after reluctantly pulling my car back into the bay, near closing time. I saw the lug nuts to my right front tire being moved by hand. The young man tightened them , and said "this is why I don't like working on other peoples cars because the don't take care of them". he said this whole I was standing in the bay with him. Not only was he rude to me, but also to those who work with or under him. To include carrying an unprofessional tone with staff, and making nonchalant comments for the piss poor condition of my car that I was nearly allowed to drive. I have children and people I care for. Them nor I should have our lives put in jeopardy. The end result after discovering they did half the job advertised was a manager providing me with a discount to the other half of the brake job Totally $800 plus dollars. I drive a Chrysler not a Audi. I am very disappointed, and I actively regret going to this location. read more

Came here to get my tire patched. They told me I would be done and out within an hour. 65 minutes later they call me over to tell me they cannot patch the tire and need to replace it. This will take another hour. These guys are jokes. Plus while I was here, multiple customers complained about their services and timing. AND TO top it off they charged me for the service. I was leaving the area to drive back home to Northern VA and had an issue with my car 45 min into my trip. This place was within 5 min and they accommodated me. They made my car a priority, was very generous of my time and right on top of the timeframes they outlined. They didn't overcharge, listened and were very respectful. Unnecessary upcharges on inspections. I know they make very little money from inspections otherwise but no need to make things up. Must be on commission. Just charge a extra fee or something and be honest about it or stop doing inspections. Not a place to go if you aren't familiar with vehicles and easily scammed. read more

I took my Honda Accord here to fix the driver side door handle which took 2 days which didn't seem that bad at the time until they tried to give it back to me just to find out that it was even further broken than before. I can usually be patient with this sort of thing and they apologized and told me that it would be ready tomorrow. I give the a call the next day and they say that the only person who knows how to fix it isn't working til the next day. Again I give them a call the next day and they say the part needs to ship in which would be another day, so of course I call again the next day just to find that the part still hasn't come in and again it would be ready tomorrow and now it's been well over a week and now they don't have a date when it will be finished. These people are beyond incompetent in their jobs and don't seem to have any idea of what to do or handle these situation. I have been more than patient with these people and they all seem to be ill informed about why it can't be fixed. This has been beyond frustrating and I would not recommend this for any auto service no matter how major or minor your car issues are. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

My son had car trouble on a road trip from Knoxville, TN to Charlotte, NC. We had the car towed to AAA, but they could not fit him in over the Labor Day weekend, and couldn't look at the car until Tuesday. This would not work for us, because needed to be back at school by then. We called Firestone, and they were great! They were able to take the car on Saturday, get a needed part from the local dealership and have it ready by Saturday afternoon, knowing he needed it for Sunday. They were awesome to deal with, kept us updated with the progress and I'd recommend them to anyone! read more

Two stars because aside from oil being successful changed and price being reasonable (after coupon), not many other positives. When I got back into car, seat was adjusted, reasonable. Steering wheel had also been adjusted, a little unusual but maybe I can see the logic. However the message that an oil change was did was not reset, so googled and had fixed in a few minutes, yet that is something I feel should be taken care of. Then when driving notice something else is off, and that was that the display brightness was set all the way down. There is no logic behind why that was necessary and was simply annoying to say the least. Will not be coming back because to me, there should be some expectation of service beyond the bare minimum. read more

Customer service here is abysmal! I dropped off my car to get an oil change and decided while I was there to go ahead and have a damaged tire pressure sensor replaced. The man informed me of the price which I agreed to but he said they would call before performing any additional work. Later, I received a call saying my car was ready and the sensor wasn't damaged but only that it needed to be reset. When I got there to pick up my car a different man told me that the sensor was damaged and they couldn't fix it. After I told him that I know it was damaged and that is why I wanted it replaced he then decided to talk to me in a condescending tone as though I was an idiot. Don't waste your time here and go across the street to Discount Tire. I know I will from now on. read more

I left confused. I had a state inspection and an oil change done. I asked for synthetic and asked to verify it would mean I wouldn't need an oil change for 7k miles. The women replied "no you still have to have it done in 3k miles, unless you want high miles. High miles would mean you have to have it changed in 5k miles." I replied "yes high miles". But when I left I only paid $71 and she said the manufacturer recommends to have it changed in 3,750 miles. Which would mean she didn't give me synthetic. She didn't seem knowledgeable and did nothing but confuse me. I won't be back and I won't recommend either. ****UPDATE: Dave called me this afternoon and requested that I explain what happened. He insisted I bring my car back. I did and they did another oil change, no extra charge and put in synthetic. Warren took the time to help and asked questions to find out where the confusion happened. He then showed me on their computer screen the oil options and how it may have confused the women who helped me yesterday. He also apologized and made sure my record was marked for the future if I bring my car back. I feel a bit better that they took action to make it right. This makes me feel like they are concerned about the customers and their reviews. read more

I went there with multiple punctures in my tire and instead of ripping me off for an expensive new tire the manager was very honest and helpful and put me in a great new tire for a prorated price since the damaged tire had some life on it. I was freaking out thinking my budget for the month was ruined and instead I got a new tire for basically 30 bucks and was on my way in under an hour. Floored by the great service, the ethical and respectful treatment and trustworthy people there. Once my wife went there with her tire light on and they filled the tires with air and helped her out for no charge and calmed her down. Great service and better people. read more

I was a walk-in customer from out-of-town with a loud humming sound from my car that sounded like bad wheel bearings. These folks took my car for a road test, confirmed the diagnosis, and replaced the front driver side wheel hub assembly. They road tested again - humming sound still there. Knowing how difficult it is to locate the source of a problem sound, I was understanding. Closer inspection revealed noise coming from rear wheel. Replaced that wheel hub and car road tested fine - no noise. I was charged only for the replacement of a single wheel hub. The service advisor kept me informed every step of the way. I dealt with knowledgeable, friendly, professionals and recommend this Firestone service location highly. read more

So my husband an I have Ben coming here for years servicing Three different vehicles. We have never experienced someone so rude an disrespectful ever. We encountered a man name Hector who is the most rudest person ever. We had gotten a quote two days bf on a the weather strip on the drivers side door. He gave us a price with us purchasing the part but we didn't get his name. Of course this is assuming all of the gentleman that work here know about cars and parts etc. yea no not him, we called to find out out if they could see us today n he was rude off jump saying he doesn't know how much it's gonna cost he's not that guy . We still went an asked if someone could look at it bc we didn't know if that was all that was wrong. He said no he needed it for three hours just to see, when the other guy said 90 min. Instead of being professional he was rude an disrespectful. He has no businesses being up front. It's not the first time I have seen him be rude with other people.
