My appointment was 2/18/24 @ 2pm. I came for an oil change and got there 15 minutes early. Checked in and was told it'll be a 2hr wait since they were short-handed. Left at 430pm. Too long. As I was driving, I noticed scraping under my car. Turns out, my splash shield had come undone and was dragging. Further examination, the shield was turned sideways, barely hanging on and missing a couple screws (this was confirmed by another mechanic I was lucky to find that late on a Sunday). It was replaced carelessly. This is unacceptable. Oil changes are the most common and simplest service done. The care of the customers car is in the hands of the mechanic. If you decide to go here, please make sure everything is in its place. The value of service was reasonable. But the quality of the after care was unacceptable. read more

Writing this as I wait in the lobby, constantly peeking at my car that nobody's worked on in an hour. Went up to ask about it and apparently the guy working on it left on an "emergency", but they just left it there. There's usually nobody assisting customers, and when there is, chitchat takes up most of the time. They have a bizarre online appointment system where you select an appointment time, but they ignore that and call you the next day to set up a real appointment. I have no evidence that they're hustling me, so 2 stars, but I'm sick and tired of full price with half the service. read more

The Firestone on Ramsey I've been to several times unfortunately because my company has a contract with them, so I HAVE to go. I'd leave my vehicle with them on Saturday morning and would be lucky if they get it done by Sunday evening. Recently left it at 9am and was told that they'd have it done for sure with a confident tone by the end of the day. Called after church at 12:30ish and was told they haven't got to it yet and I said I'd better around 4:00-4:30 to pick it up cause I had to for work. Got there at 4:15 and they still had not touched it and sent the poor newer girl employee out to tell me it was because since my van is so tall there is only one lift that can service it. Ok that's cool, but after 16-17 hours you couldn't get to it? Not a digit letdown there can manage time at all and are slow as s*** apparently. This has happened I think 3x to me, and I know appt don't work cause my girlfriend had one for simply getting new tires on and after 4-5 hours they still never did it and she left. Don't go here. Most of these reviews are older, we have had good service here for over 2 years. I've also been treated respectfully when I have a lot of questions or want to discuss what must be done or what I might be able to wait and do later. I also appreciate the customer service representatives knowing my name and greeting us kindly. They always update me when the vehicle is done and work has always been completed on time/as estimated. I have always made appointments vs. doing walk-in service. We also like the lifetime warranty on the brakes and the lifetime alignment. There are frequent coupons online and a military discount. No auto-shop is perfect but everyone here has always been courteous and on task and obviously busy and doing their best. read more

I went there for an oil change appointment . They said it would take an hour. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes. They did not apologize or offer a discount. I was waiting for the car and they did not even give me an update. Then they tried to tell me that I need a cabin filter when I knew that my husband had replaced that a few weeks prior. They are scam artists and I don't appreciate people at car places telling you that you need something that you don't. read more

Terrible service, you're better off going to a reputable source or independent garage or do it yourself. You may as well hand these people a wad a cash and not expect to get much for what you pay for. They charge money out the ass and they bullshit you with crap. Week or so later i went back because the break was slipping and not working right. DO NOT GO HERE. This is the third time I have had work done and the third time something was wrong with my car that wasn't wrong to begin with. First time they installed a bum battery. Ok. That happens. Second time had an oil change and my car leaked oil. They said it was a bad oil plug... ok? Third time I took my car in for a tire rotation and now my car shakes so bad. "Management" is a joke at this place and their customer service is awful. Alex told me they were too busy to look at my car (that they broke). Then told me I could just not bring my vehicle back. Told me to talk to the manager in the morning. Don't think so. I saw the "manager" Cam in action on Sunday. He was rude (not to me) to the people he was on the phone with and ended up storming out of the office leaving the customer and the other dude (Alex) standing there confused. I also heard him regarding other issues the employees were telling him about and he was dismissive and rude. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE. Blacks Tire on Bragg blvd is the place to go. They replaced the bad battery in example 1 no charge. And they are currently working on my tire issue. I don't know what the issue is with this location (I've had fabulous experiences with the one by the mall) but they are unprofessional and I'm starting to believe they purposely cause additional issues so you HAVE to come back. I waited 10 hours for them to fix my coolant and my brakes. My brakes didn't work when I left, I almost wrecked 3 times going back to the shop. When they fixed that, I blew a head gasket. So they more than wasted a full work day of my time and cost me an entire car. They charged me 1,000 dollars to destroy my car. read more

My wife's tire completely deflated, I couldn't find the hole to fix the flat so I put the spare on, she drove it to this location, they broke the lug bolt and lost the lug nut to the broken lug bolt. My wife didn't notice until after she had paid and they said it was stripped so they had to "break it" I know for a fact it wasn't stripped because I had just taken it off that day and put it back on correctly. We had two Rv tires that needed to be replaced due to sidewall bubbles. We called at 11:45 am and she ordered the tires and let me know it would be about an hour before the tires arrived and about two hours total. Upon arrival we determined the best place to park the 41 ft. Rv was along the back entrance. With the help of Jeff we backed in and he was out to inspect and remove the tires. The new tires misses the first delivery but came about an hour after initial contact. The woman who assisted us was professional and knowledgeable and worked directly with my insurance. She took pictures measured tread depth and dot markings. Jeff quickly removed and replaced the tires added air to my other tires and we were done by 2:30 pm. We waited an additional 1/2 hour for the insurance company to call back approval. ( No fault of Firestone) Overall the service was excellent, price was reasonable and the shop worked as a auto care center should. Well done. read more

Had a 9:00 am appointment, took over a hour and a half to do a wheel alignment. While waiting in the lobby, there were three mechanics shooting the wind while their shop was full of vehicles waiting to be worked on for customers waiting in the lobby. Good work, poor work ethic. read more

I have been going to Firestone for years for auto repairs and have been satisfied with the service I get. I just moved to Fayetteville and brought my car in to get serviced and new tires. All of the garages are connected on a national system so if you need to get your car repaired out of town, they will have the background for your car and you don't have to explain your vehicle history over and over. Also, you don't end up paying for repeated work. They were able to pull up my car history and repair what my last garage recommended. The guys are very polite and attentive and will honestly assist you with ensuring you are getting all of the repairs you need for your car. This is important to me because I am single with no gentleman to take care of my car. They gave me the best recommendations for tires to fit my budget as well as ensuring the brakes and other safety features were serviced as well. My bill was $1200 which included four tires, an oil change and service. read more

If it was possible to get no stars, I would give this place no stars. I received by far the worst customer service ever! I was making a joke about how I was being milked for my money because for a oil change and tire rotation and balance it would have cost me $121. I signed and walked off to eat my breakfast. The manager asked if I wanted the service, I said I never said I didn't want the service. He responded with, well, you need to show me some respect. I couldn't believe it. At first, I was going to sit there and just get the services done and then I thought I don't want any service from here. Just disrespectful! I agree with above poster. Do not take your car here, or any other Firestone for that matter. I took my car in to get inspected, and it failed b/c of the emergency brake. They told me it would probably cost $25 to "ralign the brakes". I took the car and had a mechanic I know look at it. He fixed it in 5 minutes, didn't even need to look under the car. They also charged me $10 labor to check to see if the slight tint in my windows would pass inspection. Probably took them 5 minutes. Typical national chain that looks to bleed all of your cash from you. I wouldn't buy their tires and I'll never give them my business again. read more

Ugh! We have taken our cars to Firestone in Virginia for years - absolutely loved it. When we moved here, we figured we would stick with what we knew - BAD MOVE! I have never received such rude, apathetic customer service. When we checked in, we were not given a quote for the service cost, and midway through check in the receptionist walked off- we had no idea whether we should stay or go, leave a deposit, or pay later. Our vehicle is over twenty years old and has multiple known problems - when we asked them to do a thorough exam of the vehicle, they identified none of the KNOWN problems, and gave the rust bucket a perfect health check - what?? We left the vehicle there for several days without ever hearing back about replacing the alternator. When I called to check on our car after two days there, I was placed on hold for over fifteen minutes. When i finally got ahold of someone, they said they still hadn't evaluated the battery/alternator thoroughly and would have someone call me back. Did I get a call? No. I had to call multiple times to get an answer, and each time the customer service seemed more blunt and unhelpful than before. Don't waste your money here. It is not worth the headache or the price! read more
