I often stop at firestone when there is something wrong with my tires or if I am in need of new tires. I never really got other service there except for today! I stopped in due to a battery light signal which I later found out was due to my battery and alternator going out! They got me in and out fast! I showed up as a walk in and they handled my concerns with care! Joesph and Nikki were so professional and helpful! They ended up fitting me in and I was out of there with a new battery and alternator in less than 2hrs. Now I'm no mechanic so I'm not too sure what a "fair price" is but I will say it was fair enough for me, given the fact that I used a firestone credit card! Which really came in handy with the discounts! I've been to two other firestones since moving to CLT and I must say they do not compare to this one! I'll definitely be back again! read more

Gone in for flat repair. Warranty for tire was honored . They're without a choice. Although! They'll charge for a bad tps sensor that has been broken when they break it! Changing out the tire! charging you for what a tire costs! Meanwhile the tire sensor read psi just fine on the way there. How else did I notice a nail in the tire causing a slow leak? A tire sensor can't read pressure if it's broken y'all. The tire pressure sensor worked before you broke it changing out the tire. There's procedure preventing this damage from happening. It's not even OEM replacement. Sticks out like a sore thumb. This place is Scamming ! After the old manager left a while back they've been throwing all kinds of nonsense. Watch out ! Plus they dig around the rest of your vehicle recommending spark plugs and filters when all you put in for was a flat repair. Get out of town. read more

Had my truck towed to firestone due to non start. Had a diagnostic done and the tech said that my fuse cavity was melted. My truck was to be repaired on Monday. I went to firestone on Sunday to check on my truck for myself. I saw that a fuse had already been replaced and the truck WOULD start. I took the fuse out to find NO DAMAGE to the box. I promptly went into the store to get my keys. Had I not gone to the store on Sunday they would have charged me over $800.00 for this NON DAMAGED fuse box. I have been a loyal customer to firestone for over 20 years and all they said is that they would "Educate the store employees on how to READ!"... When you walk into any firestone store there's a poster on the wall of the founder of the business with a caption that reads like this. "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business". I truly believe that Harvey Firestone is turning over in his grave with disgust on how his company is being ran today!!! read more

Woman with purple hair at the front desk is very unprofessional, could barely understand what she was saying, felt like she was going to fall asleep talking to me. Also I feel like I got ripped off...Almost 600 to replace battery and fix two problems with the AC. I guess they get you with the vehicle inspection because there's no way I should've paid that much. Then the problem started reoccurring again so I took my car to another family mechanic and he found a huge hardware nut INTENTIONALLY LODGED into an A/C hose. They did that so I can come back and spend money at Firestone and also considering I'm a woman and there are a noticeable amount of untrustworthy mechanics. DO NOT GO HERE!! My husband and I have had oil changes here twice in the past. Everything was fine until we asked for them to do a free break inspection. We were quoted over $1,000 for multiple unnecessary things to be fixed. We decided to get a second opinion and we are so happy we did so! It's so hard to find a good auto shop, let alone be able to trust what they're saying you need replaced. UPDATE: it was confirmed that my tire was replaced for no reason, the rim has been cracked and that's why it has been losing air. A new mechanic told me that it should have been obvious for any mechanic who looked!!! A few days ago I went to Firestone because my tire was losing air but had no damage that I could see. Sam had the tire replaced. Before leaving I asked what was wrong with the tire and Sam said he didn't know but left it at that. I asked him to ask his crew, after checking with the people who replaced the tire, they also didn't know. I figured it was better to just have a new tire than deal with it losing air all of the time and they had already replaced it and added warranty to 4 tires - salesmanship here. Today, my tire is completely flat and I haven't driven it since the day it was replaced. I called to ask them if they checked all areas and why it would be flat. Matt said it's probably a cracked rim. If it's a cracked rim then why was I NOT TOLD? WHY WAS I SOLD A TIRE JUST BECAUSE? He said they may have just overlooked the rim but that it's part of their inspection. It's their job to check why a tire is going flat instead of doing the bare minimum and getting a sale. When I spoke with AMANDA the manager, she was beyond rude and condescending to me when I tried to explain what happened, as if I lied about the tire being replaced without evidence of damage when no one was even going to tell me they didn't find anything wrong! Wouldn't that be in THEIR records? Amanda continuously talked over me even when I asked her to let me speak and explain the situation. I would NEVER trust this staff again. 1. Sold me a tire for no reason 2. Didn't find anything wrong with the tire and still sold it to me 3. Did not openly say, until asking twice, what was even wrong with the tire - FOUND NOTHING 4. Being in the automotive industry, I usually repair my own vehicle and perform my own oil changes, but recently I have turned to the services of Firestone #343717. They have always done a good job with several oil changes and most recently the replacement of four tires along with a wheel alignment. This store has always been able to get me out the door in a reasonable amount of time. These people are wonderful. I had a problem with my car last Sunday and I needed to have someone put it up on a rack and remove some loose shielding from under the car. On a weekday it wouldn't have been a big deal but on a Sunday just finding a garage that was open was difficult. They got me in on a very short notice, put the car on a lift and removed the damaged shield. While the mechanic was there he noticed another piece hanging loose and fixed that quickly. He also noticed when he drove the car that one headlamp was out. Before he rushed to sell me a new headlamp he checked inside the engine compartment and discovered that the headlamp connecter had come unattached. While on vacation, my rental car had had a slow leak in one tire. The tire was changed but no one would put the spare under the car to be secured. My rental company contacted Chuck at this Firestone dealership. Though it was a busy day, a mechanic was given our car, the spare was secured, and all tires were checked. We were on our way in no time. This store should be recognized for helping a couple trying to enjoy their vacation, but also for the professional and efficient manner which it was helping all its customers. IF I COULD GIVE A LESS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD!BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!On the day of march 15,2018, I took my car into Firestone Complete Auto Care for repairs. As recommended by the technician, after doing a diagnostic check, the rear bearings and seals were removed and replaced. The brakes were replaced all around. And the wiper blades were replaced. That was the recommendation for all the services that needed to be done on my car per the inspection. AT NO TIME was there any mention of any engine issues, transmission issues or fuel system issues. I came and picked my car up once I paid the bill and was assured that everything was done. Once I exited the parking lot, I could tell right away that there was something wrong. My car was having a hard time accelerating out of first gear and would hover around 30-35 mph. I took my car right back to Firestone to complain of the issue. They refused to look at my car and told me I could bring it back the next morning and speak with the manager. The tech that drove my car damaged my transmission due to recklessness that I personally witnessed. There was never an issue with my transmission prior to me bringing my car to Firestone. I've put in a claim with Firestone which has been denied.. Much like the staff told me it would. What's sad and offensive about this whole situation, is that the car had no transmission issues going in and a destroyed transmission coming out and their claim that it's not their fault is laughable. I ask you, if you had rear wheel work done to your car and the tech hit a parking stump in the parking lot bending your front rim, who's responsible for that? You? Or the garage? They didn't work on the front of the car, but that shouldn't matter. MY CAR WAS DAMAGED WHILE IN FIRESTONE'S CARE! So please beware of this location's care of your vehicle and if possible, GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR WHILE MAINTAINING IT! read more

So here is the thing about this Firestone.... Are they perfect no. No mechanic is ever going to be perfect. Big but coming.... They always want you to be happy. If they can't fix your car they are not going to pee on the car, tell you it rained and charge you $500.00 for it. They will however let you know. Hey your car is to new. It's under warranty. Go to the dealership. Hey your car is too old. If we tried to fix it, it would rust off the wheel well because it's so rusted it would probably fall apart. I heard that while I was waiting to get my car yesterday. I have been going here for a few years now. Answers like that are why. I don't worry about being over charged. If I want to get my kids a car I get them to look at it first. I've been going there so long I just got a Platinum Members 10% off card for life card in the mail for doing nothing. I don't even have a Firestone Credit Card. This is the Firestone next to the Sam's Car Wash in Fort Mill on HWY 160 West. Bet Ya never thought you'd see a good recommendation for a mechanic on Yelp! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS!! My wife got her headlights changed at this location at a ridiculous price, but the price wasn't my biggest concern. She tells me they seem really dim, so I tell her to take it back when it's dark and have them look again, and even drive it around if they wouldn't mind. They said everything was fine. She's following me home tonight, and I've never seen a car on the road with headlights so dim. So I decide to drive it after we get home, and I can't see 5 feet in front of me. So not only did they either install the wrong light, install it wrong in general, or just not care, they put my wife in a VERY DANGEROUS POSITION. I will never recommend this place, I will go out of my way to tell people to avoid it, and I will be making sure to post this on every site that has even a glimpse of a review process. read more
