Check engine light is still on.

Firestone corporate office is the absolute worst. It has been five months and I still have not received a call back from the area director/ manager or corporate office. I've contacted the president line multiple times and I've contacted the customer service line so many times I can't count. It is an absolute shame that Firestone treats customers the way it do. I simply want my vehicle fixed.

Repeat check engine light after 4 attempts at repairs at this location.

After $2,834.90 in repairs, 9 separate visits to now 3 different firestone locations, 6 failed repair attempts for the same issue, 2 breakdowns requiring tows, 2 visits to other locations for supplemental help, a month of on and off being without a car, this 2014 Kia soul still isn't fixed for what should have been a simple catalytic converter repair. If the catalytic converter had been replaced, both halves with OEM kia parts the first time around without replacing other parts just to have the exact same issue persist with needless expensive repairs, we would not be here today. And this is all because this firestone location couldn't be bothered to put in the work to narrow down the issue and order proper Kia parts. The staff including Kory and Clint don't know what they are doing or talking about. They were vague, unprofessional, and very unresponsive on multiple requests for status updates on parts. Why does it take 6 visits and 4 repair attempts at this location to fix 1 issue? And even then it wasn't fixed. We took it to another mechanic who verified they lied on multiple occasions on work performed. Half of the catalytic converter had been replaced but half hadn't. The other mechanic didn't know why they would replace the spark plugs and coils with this check engine code and symptoms and not have even been bothered to check the catalytic converter the first time around. I would like to say it's just this Firestone but the one's in Corinth and now Denton are not a bit better. Don't take your cars here. There is better, faster, more honest, and reliable service to be had elsewhere.

$20 OFF wow thanks and always glad to write reviews for good quality service.

    Scraped wheels

Absolutely horrible experience at this location. I don't understand why they continue to take on work if they know they are not capable of doing it. I went in to have 2 new tires mounted, and they ended up damaging 3 new tires and both of my wheels. Absolutely ridiculous. The first time I brought the car in, the manager Shaun, tells me it will be extra since they are "low-profile" tires. They were 265/35/19, I have had tires with even lower profile (265/30/19) installed at this exact location without this extra charge, no other place has ever charged this nor complained about this size tire being too low profile. I went ahead and got it done since I needed to get the car on the road. He then tells me it took 3 employees to get the tire on and that "they're a b*tch to mount". A day later, I find a bubble on one of the tires. I took it back and he tried to argue this would not have happened during install until he finally said they would compensate me for my tire and get a new one installed. I took a new tire to them on a Saturday (May 11) and get told that because Shaun is not working, I would have to come back until Wednesday! Instead of helping me get my refund and scheduling me for an appointment to get the tire installed, the guy just says we cant help you. No manager came out to talk to me because they were "too busy." I come back Wednesday and get my refund, and am told that he will ask if any of his employees "want to install the new tire", that they may send me to a different firestone because "it's the same machine and if it damaged the tire once it might damage it again" but that if they do install it here, it won't be until the end of the day and that his tech is more experienced. I drop the wheel and tire off and come back the next day only for them to tell me that they damaged the tire again and that they have ordered 2 new tires for me, because the other tire they installed for me is "also probably damaged." I ask if the new tire is installed and he says no because the tech has left. This is like the 4th time I have been told at this location that they do not have a tech working. How does a tire shop like Firestone not have someone on duty who can install a tire? I tell the guy I need a full refund and he says he is not authorized to do a refund and to come back tomorrow. So now there is no tech and there is no manager working. I get my wheel back and it is completely destroyed. Safe to assume my other wheel is damaged as well. I will be filing a claim to get compensated for both of my wheels, which are no longer manufactured by the way, and a full refund because I have 2 tires and they are not installed. Extremely disappointed, luckily I have a spare wheel to get me around or else the car would have been sitting for months now. These people are risking their customer's lives installing tires when they clearly have no idea how. How can you trust any other work they do if they cannot do something as simple as mounting tires?

Here's the thing. I've been a customer for ten years. I keep telling myself every time I use Firestone that I'm tired of the upsale, I'm tired of never getting to use their useless warranty, I'm tired of half-complete maintenance, I'm tired of leaving having paid at least 2x what I planned to pay. But they are convenient, and that's the best explanation for why I keep coming back. Today was my last time to come here though. I brought a tire on vehicle that only needed a plug repair for a nail, which was supposed to be free. The service Advisor called to tell me the tire was repairable, but the rear tires were cupping and should be replaced or a full vehicle inspection needed to be done to determine why the cupping. This is their typical script for the upsale. I told them to go ahead and fix the tire and I will buy all tires later. Then about an hour later the Service Advisor called again to tell me that the tire was now "not repairable", and my front tires were also 4/32. He wanted me to come down so he could physically show me the tire damage. Basically it was tire dirt from running the tire low, or else some tire dirt they tossed into the tire from the floor. So now the tire isn't repairable and a new problem, Firestone won't put my original tire back on because of liability, "Firestone" can only put my spare back on, but can't put my old tire back on. Basically they entrapped me by taking the tire off the car I approved of them removing to repair. So because I value my time more than the savings I got online and shopped for a cheap set of Toyos from their "Firestone" website wizard, which were $140 ea, but they were the wrong size, so the Firestone wizard was wrong. So I looked for the right size, they were $170. The manager says well we don't have those, but we can get you in a set of Bridgestone and price match, but I don't want their lousy tires that never make it to their warranty. At work completion and out the door cost, the cost was $841.11. Their documentation doesn't tell the story the way it actually went at all. The service ticket notes say that I declined warranty flat repair (rear right), Alignment Service (12 month warranty), Complete vehicle inspection, Alignment Service (12-month warranty), Alignment Service (Lifetime Warranty). I asked for wheel balance and alignment to be completed, but I didn't want to buy any warranty services. The Technician I checked out with stated that the alignment was done. The technicians notes state that the rear wheels had cupping, a nail in the right rear wheel, and that the wheel was both repairable and non-repairable. When the Service Advisor first called today they told me the tire was repairable and recommended I swap both rear tires. When I said no thanks, they called me back about an hour later and stated that the tire was not repairable. The technician was recommending a full vehicle inspection, likely to seek additional repair opportunities, due to wear on tires. In the notes the technician stated, "Front tires recommended with rotation complete vehicle inspection and alignment *Run flat damage on right rear" I plan to take the vehicle to the dealer to have the under carriage, suspension, and tires inspected for proper and complete safe maintenance and manufacturer recommended maintenance tolerances. This vehicle was recently purchased as a certified pre-owned vehicle and has bumper to bumper maintenance. Should the dealer recognize any deviations from the manufacturers recommended maintenance guidelines or procedures, I will seek credit from Firestone. The tire sold to me was a Dedtination LE3 B/L 225:55R19 99H 70k mile limited warranty (see attached invoice). I had asked for Toyo 65k tires that were priced at $174 from the Firestone store flyer online, but was told that 5660 Lavon didn't have any. So they did a price match. However, what I discovered is that the Destinations had a $50 discount offer and the estimated out the door was cheaper than the price match. So they pretty much screwed me for not saying "Yes" to their upsale attempt. I would only send enemies to this store. They have a big turnover of employees and managers there, likely because it takes a pretty heartless person to rip people off all the time. Don't bring your car here!

A simple fluid change turned into a broken differential and SOL of a vehicle. And I paid $500 for all this to happen. WTF!
    Jojo J.

I brought my car because they said I need the differential fluid changed. It too 2 hours and I got about 10 miles down the road and my car started making noises. They told me to drive it back. I didn't want to do that so Luckly there was a Firestone in plano that I pulled up to. The original Firestone ask me to tow it back or drive it. They ended up towing back and forth it at 2pm. I didn't hear from them until 5. I called and they told me they haven't even looked at it. I drove up here right away to find no answers on how it happened. Just " you can drive it, you won't hurt it anymore than is is. it's going to need a new differential". I asked if I was going to get a refund of any of the $500 I had spent that morning. He then told me that that would have to be discussed through the claims department. So I paid $500 to be left on the side of the road stranded with my family with no help from them at all....? Now I have to wait until they can send a master technician out to prove that I am not at fault and to figure out what happened.

Disappointed as they insisted I needed new rotors when 2 others, including dealership, indicated that only brake pads were needed.

The front staff is always friendly, and they tend to get work done pretty quickly, which I really appreciate. Most recently, I brought in my Kia EV9 and my VW Atlas for alignments. The EV9 was handled smoothly, although I did have to call to check whether it was ready. Not a big deal, just something to note. The Atlas visit is what really reminded me why I trust this shop. During their inspection, they noticed the oil filter and drain plug were leaking from an oil change I had done at Take 5 only two hours earlier. I'm extremely thankful they caught it. If I hadn't brought it in the same day, I could have ended up with a major engine problem. The only other minor issue I've ever had was a couple of years ago when my Pacifica's strut replacement was delayed, probably because of parts availability. Otherwise, every experience has been solid. Overall, Integrity 1st has earned my trust with their honesty, attention to detail, and friendly service. I'll keep bringing my vehicles here.

I initially visited Discount Tire to have my tires rotated as part of my 5,000-mile maintenance. During the service, Discount Tire broke a lug nut/stud and advised me to take my vehicle to Integrity 1st Automotive to have it repaired. When I brought my vehicle to Integrity 1st, I was informed that there were several additional maintenance items that needed attention. Some of these items I was already aware of and planned to have addressed by my regular mechanic when he returned from out of town in mid-August. However, I was told by Integrity 1st that my vehicle had a very serious oil leak that could not wait and needed to be repaired immediately. Based on their recommendation and the urgency they communicated to me, I authorized them to repair the oil leak and paid the amount charged for that service. I specifically understood that the oil leak had been repaired. After my regular mechanic returned, I took my vehicle to him to have the rack and pinion repaired. Because he does not perform front-end alignments, he recommended that I take the vehicle elsewhere for the alignment. I then returned to Integrity 1st Automotive for the alignment and was quoted $120, which I authorized. At that time, I was extremely surprised when I was again told that my vehicle had a very bad oil leak. I immediately questioned how this was possible since Integrity 1st had previously told me that the oil leak was serious, needed immediate attention, and had been repaired. I was then told that the previous repair addressed a different or lower leak and that this additional leak had not been seen at the time. This explanation is very concerning to me. When I authorized the original repair, I did so because I was specifically told that I had a serious oil leak that could not wait. I was never advised that only one portion of the leak was being repaired or that another oil leak might still remain. Had that been explained to me, I would have made a different decision regarding the repair. My regular mechanic, who has serviced my vehicle for approximately 15 years and specializes in Honda and Acura vehicles, was already aware of a very slow oil leak. His professional opinion was that it did not require immediate repair and could be monitored until it became significant enough to address. This is very different from what I was told by Integrity 1st. My primary concern is simple: If I paid Integrity 1st Automotive to repair what I was told was a serious oil leak, why was I later told by the same shop that I still had a very bad oil leak? I would like a detailed explanation of exactly what oil leak was diagnosed during my first visit, what repair was performed, what parts and labor I was charged for, and why the current leak was not identified at that time. I would also like Integrity 1st Automotive to review the charges associated with the original oil leak repair and determine what refund or corrective action is appropriate. I trusted the professional recommendation I was given and authorized the repair based on the urgency communicated to me. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to question whether the repair I paid for was necessary, complete, and properly explained. I hope Integrity 1st Automotive will take this complaint seriously and make a reasonable effort to resolve this matter.
