I purchased my tires from Firestone. They offer a lifetime rotation of the tires . First time I went in and got my tires rotated. Everything was fine. Took my car in Friday to get my tires rotated . I noticed I was missing a valve stem cap off one of my tires. Then, as I was driving, something seem to be off . The car is Pulling to the right . I never had issues before this particular tire rotation appointment. I proceeded to call and ask in which direction they rotated my tires. They referred me to purchase an alignment. and told me that I needed to have an alignment done. Instead of offering for me to bring the car back in to see if the tires were rotated properly .Nina said I needed an alignment and kept giving me price quotes to get an alignment done. Nina kept cutting me off as I was talking. She keep trying to talk over me.and not let me explain the problem. I will no longer be purchasing tires or rotations or oil changes or any car repair done with Firestone . Poor service and poor customer service . read more

Avoid this place at all costs. This was the quote I received - printed and all! For 4 tires and their 12 month financing. After I completely signed up I was about to pay the "due today" and it turns out they were actually going to charge me well over $1000! Consultant wasn't even going to say anything! He was obviously hoping I wouldn't notice. When I asked if he'd honor the price he quoted and I had in (his) writing he said no! I got on the phone with Farm and Fleet and was quoted a much lower price. Asked if he would beat that price and he said he would match but not go lower at all. He could have, but didn't care to go the extra mile for a customer he just wasted over an hour of their day for. Overall a shady place, plus the guy came off extremely pretentious. I went to get my tires rotated at the location in Greenfield. After that, they came back and told me that a $25 vehicle inspection is recommended, to which I agreed. After that, I took my car to a different auto body shop to get repairs done, and I was informed that my front right tire was about to fall off because the lug nuts were not tightened down. This location does not have a diagnostic technician to recommend or diagnose repairs. Any suggested repairs are coming from an unqualified staff member trying to boost sales. Concerns brought to upper management about work done incorrectly and damages incurred because of said poor service work will be brushed off and unresolved. Concerns brought to regional management will be ignored. Wrong part installed for my specific vin. Parts removed and broken, then not put back together correctly causing more damage. Oil change incomplete. All I wanted was the issues corrected or a refund for service incomplete/poorly done. What happened to this company's reputation for customer service and integrity? UPDATE: "business owner" has commented on this review to email them. I have. It's now been over 48 hours and NO response to my email. No resolution. read more

i drove a working vehicle, for just a wheel alignment and they called me to tell me it's dead, they couldn't start it? i had to tow it home and found fuses for ignition removed, etc, and for over 100 they wanted to charge me for a diagnostic, what a scam, they wanted me to pay for something they did wrong, deliberately, don't go there read more

Horrible service. Called and made an appointment to have my snow tires put on my car. Told me 60 to put on. I dropped off my car at 1130am and was told about an hour to do. 150pm I receive a call my car was not started yet.. per the guy that called.. my car feel through the cracks... urg told me than it would be about 3pm. Got a call at 240 telling me that my air filter, oil change needed to be done. I want my snow tires on, that's it. They than told me that they were giving me a deal on my tire because they have senors. LIE.. my car doesn't have a sensor. It's too old I came in at 3pm and still not done. My oil light came on a couple months after getting my oil changed here. I went to the dealership and was informed the last person to change my oil did not fasten the oil cap tight enough, leading to a slow leak. I understand mistakes happen. Nevertheless, I felt compelled to write this review because I also did not feel welcomed or safe while here. No masks were worn by the personnel and I was stared at when it was my turn in line, instead of being welcomed. Unfortunately I'd have to say that if you have other options, go elsewhere. read more

Went in to get my tires change and replace shocks. I got 4 brand new tires but they did not do the replacement for the shocks because I brought my own. When it takes longer to take the tires out then take the old shocks and put the new shocks in. read more

What can I say about Firestone? I chose them to install my new tires over the weekend. My choice was based simply on location, though I should add that I normally would not have chosen Firestone based on what I've heard about them (more on that in a moment). Their customer service wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. They could only work me in on Saturday and they were up front about that. They said it might be end of the day or the next day (it turned out to be the next day). I'm okay with that. They made it clear that I would be worked in. They did the tire install, but would not do the alignment because they said I needed nearly $1000 worth of suspension work. I was expecting that. My girlfriend had taken her car in for an alignment about a month earlier and had gotten the same response. I told them to skip the extra work and the alignment. If this had been another shop I might have trusted them, but based on personal experience and many, many reviews - it seems like they like to push "suggested" services in an effort to extort extra money out of customers. I then took my car to a well known local garage. I asked for an alignment and a check on the front suspension. The found nothing wrong with the suspension and they were able to do the alignment without any trouble - confirming that Firestone was just trying to tack on extra services. My guess is this is some sort of corporate policy: if a customer asks for this service - here are the "suggested" services you need to tack on. I'm sure it works more often than not. Again - their reputation proceeds them and as a corporate entity they probably need to work on that because right now they play into the shady mechanic stereotype. I was happy with the service they provided. They mounted my new tires for a reasonable fee - I just didn't care for what came after. They're probably okay for basic work - but always get a second opinion. read more

Went in due to a tire not holding pressure. Quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed me up without any pressure for extra tack ons or services I did not need. OVER PRICED! Don't trust this place for anything but an oil or tire change. They quoted $800 to fix a broken steering column part. I had my car towed to another shop and that second shop only charged $80 (Yes you read that right: $720 cheaper!). Clearly Firestone has greatly inflated labor rates/parts. read more

It is actually less than a 1 star, and coming to this site and seeing all the crap they have done to other customers, I am SO GLAD I bailed out. the 1st sign should have been I could make an appointment in 3 days, most shops are very busy for waaaay over a week. they came back for their guesstimate, at slightly less than $2k, and I figured would be more like several hundred. said my condenser was broke, saw it at the other shop, its actually the compressor, and the condenser is BEHIND the front bumper and couldn't have been hit by a cement parking spot block. that's enough BS to send everybody screaming into the night that these people are like TRUMP- liars and morons. read more

After the snow storm last night, I was turning on to my street and slid right into a curb. Unfortunately, this caused my wheel barring replacement process to speed up a ton. My normal mechanic is in Chicago and having always been burned by Milwaukee mechanics I was extremely weary going into Firestone. The first great thing I want to say about this place is that it was open on Sunday. Secondly, the customer service and swiftness of the job was outstanding!! They took my car inside, took a full look then took me to my car and walked me through what was wrong while pointing it out!! I've never had someone not only tell me what was wrong but show me so I could truly trust them. When I told them I could not afford to do all that at once they came up with a safe and temporary solution for me. The man promised me we would get home safely and we did! If all you need are tires and alignment work, I believe they provide adequate service. This is not a complete service facility. My truck developed a leak in the exhaust and while I just had tires changed on another vehicle I asked if they did this type of work and was reassured they did. The truck tires were OK but would not be good for winter in a bad storm let alone 4x4 use so added that along with lifetime alignments. When dropping off the truck I again asked specifically about the exhaust leak and was told it would be inspected and fixed. Inspection was listed on the invoice estimate and left the truck the full next day. As I have children and am married I have multiple multiple vehicles but my number is listed first as dad and honey takes care of these things. When the truck was done, they called my daughter, who lives 1200 miles away and has never even sat in the truck, to let her know the vehicle was ready it was about an hour before closing so down to the shop we go. Tires done. Paperwork done. Oh! They inspected the exhaust, it's leaking. And by the way right where I told them it was. $22 charge. Didn't fix it. A total waste of my time. That was the primary reason I dropped it off. So much for convenience. It's my work truck so it will again have to sit another 24 hours at a shop to get the exhaust done. And was told: We don't do this kind of work. And I wasn't called about this. This store does not understand small business owners needs nor disclose accurate service they provide. And if they don't plan on doing the job, they don't inform you until you come to pick it up, but they will charge you for telling you the service needs to be done. read more

I had 17 inch tires i wanted to get mounted and balanced. They quoted me over $200. Tried to say those were a large diameter wheel and charged extra fees. Went to goodyear and was quoted about $20 a wheel. Do not trust a damn word they say. read more

We took my husband's car here for an emergency new battery on a Sunday (12/21/2014). The battery was changed that day, and everything seemed okay. My husband's car died again on 2/17/2015 (same way as last time) and we called since there are clearly questions with the battery that was put in less than two months ago. We were told that before they will do anything, we will have to pay $95 for a diagnostic test... Definitely questionable to me... I would think twice before going here, since there seems to be problems quickly after they "fix" something. I had an appt and was interested in the lifetime warranty on an alignment. I asked what would void it after some research online said they often look for little reasons not to honor it. So the guy told me that unless you abuse the service there's pretty much no way it will get voided. So I asked to see the Warranty paperwork and and he says it's too crowded right now for that. (There were people in line behind me but that set of a little red flag) then I asked if when they were changing my tire if I could get a phone call telling me if my other tires need to be changed or not and the guy starts arguing with me like I asked some ridiculous favor of him. And then he tells me to just sign of on the price of two wheels and they'll just change two if they need it. It's not that crazy to want to talk to the person working on your car... so I finally convince him to get someone to call me before just replacing extra tires and I leave to go get something to eat. I call like an hour later to check in my car and the guy now tells me that he was just about to call me they don't have the tires in Stock that I bought. That was the last straw for me I ended up taking my car somewhere else. It's not worth it to go here. It's to much of a headache read more
