Terrible service !!!! Bought 4 tires here . One sustained a deep gash after a snow storm from debris on the interstate. Called every day for 4 days looking for a replacement tire because "their truck couldn't deliver FIRESTONE TIRES to Firestone supposedly due to the snow ."Called Buettner's tire and had the tire in less than12 hours. And the Firestone staff is either clueless each time you call or superficially pleasant but clearly could care less if they are not selling you something! No idea how they stay in business. Will never return to the Winchester location . This name used to mean quality! I guess not at this store. read more

My wife and I have had positive experiences with Firestone. We've bought two sets of tires here and also had multiple tires repaired. They always seem to be busy, so patience is required but they have taken care of us every time. read more

Went in for decently priced tires left with scratched paint and destroyed rims. Thank you. You will be replacing all four of them . I will see you motherfuckers tomorrow morning. read more

Crazy how this store ALONE won't do an alignment on my leveled trucked (2.5inch pucks on the front suspension). I've had it aligned plenty of times at Firestone and even have the 36 month alignment warranty. Unfortunate that I have to take my business to the Westminster firestone who WILL do my alinement. Laughable, thanks Gary! read more

The service at Firestone wasn't horrible, however after the work was completed on our car, they failed to properly replace a part on the underside of the car causing it to get damaged and fall off while we were driving and is now costing us even more to get it repaired/replaced. I would just avoid going to this location. read more

On the way home from picking our daughter up from college, a dashboard indicator light came on. We pulled into the Hagarstown, Md FIRESTONE shop and reviewed the problem with Chris, the manager. The shop was very busy. After consulting with the nearest a Jaguar dealership about what to do for our car, Chris fixed us up in near record time and we were on the road again. Couldn't happier and we are pleased to do business with FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE again. Our experience was 100% positive. Dwight & Cheryl Gerdes read more

First of all, a few years back I had the 200K maintenance done on my Toyota Avalon which included timing belt and spark plugs. Come to find out a year later that they didn't replace my 6th spark plug "because the bolt was stripped" and never told me - which resulted in several issues with the cars engine. Now I'm at Sams club getting my mothers tire replaced under warranty because Firestone told us at the last oil change that a nail was in the wall of the tire, rendering it unrepairable. Sams club just showed me the nail, which was in the direct center of the tread, and are REPAIRING it for free. Firestone was trying to make a buck off of me and my mother by selling us tires we didn't even need. NEVER going here ever again. read more

The first time I came here they won my business. Within an hour, they replaced all four tires and made it relatively painless. I now get my oil changed and tires rotated on every time. If you want great service, this is the place to come. read more

I have used this Firestone location previously for brake work and have been pleased with the prices and results. I just left there today a very disgruntled and frustrated customer. The work I had done included fixing a sway bar link, front brake pads and rotors, new battery and terminals, and an oil change. Prior to dropping my keys off I was assured the battery service being done would include new terminals as well but, to my dismay, they informed me that I only received the corrosion protection... In addition to this, they told me they would install the air filter I purchased a few weeks prior to which they said yes... I come in to pick the car up and I'm charged for a new air filter. The lack of communication between the technicians, the front staff, and me as a customer would be considered poor at best. For them to approve additional work without consulting me is, I feel, preposterous. On top of it all, the person accepting my payment and finalizing the sale refused to take any responsibility for Firestone and the work done. As a paying customer, especially for expensive car work, it will be very difficult to convince me to return to this location for any additional service. read more

Sorry I even did business with firestone! I called them about getting a tire fix it has a bolt in it and leaking air need to get fixed and I was told at 1pm that they couldn't get to it today! A simple 15 minute fix. I'll have to take my tire business else were! I left dealing with Sears because of same bad business ethics! read more

I had a really good experience having my car fixed and my oil changed. I drove over an hour just because Holly is the Mgr there and she is remarkably Professional, courteous and explains things really well, esp to a layperson. I trust her. She even made sure I was aware of specials online & in the store, and applied the discount without having to print out a coupon. She called around for a part and had it ordered ASAP so I was out sooner than expected. She also explained the prices BEFORE the work was done w/the option of opting out and the severity of the repair so I could make the best possible decision. I've had mechanics fail to do that and then slap me with a bill regardless! Overall - having my car fixed was quick and easy, and what to look for in the future so I know if I will need additional work done on my car. read more

This place is disreputable. I came here to get some tires installed and they told me that all my brake lights were out and that it was an electrical issue that required me to replace my circuit board, however, the only problem with my brake lights was a few burned out bulbs. In addition to this, they never updated me on the examination of my electrical system that they charged me extra for until I called them back later. They also did not give me an itemized list of charges to examine before charging my credit card. They also told me that I needed new brakes which I declined to have fixed. I am very happy about this decision at least because, at this point, I am sure they were probably lying about this as well. This place is unscrupulous in its attempts to take advantage of people. Do yourself a favor and avoid! Edit: To be fair. They did refund the fee for the unnecessary examination of the electrical system. read more

We ended up with a nail in one of our tires while traveling from Florida heading to Pennsylvania ( of course as always happens this occurred on a Saturday night, so needing a place open early on Sunday) very pleased with everything, they got us in quickly immediately took care of the problem checked other tires and battery and got us on our way! Ryan and Cari very friendly, helpful and professional! Thank you! read more

I called in for a next day appointment to look at a flat tire. I told them that the tire was flat and i wanted to see if it could be remounted and repaired. The employee on the phone said all appointments were booked but I could do a walk-in. I showed up right at opening and then they tell me they will not work on used tires. I am fine with it being a service not offered but why would they not tell me that on the phone the day before? There is a NTB right next door that will help you much better without wasting your time or giving out misleading information. read more

I had a tire go down on the highway so I called a tow truck and had them take my vehicle to Firestone since it was near. I had them replace both back tires and do a realignment. I picked up the car and it seemed to run fine on city streets. When I got back out on the highway the car began to have a vibration. By the time I was a few miles down the highway the vibration was extremely bad. I was near to an auto repair shop that I typically use for all of my vehicles so I drove the car in. They kept it over the weekend and call me on Monday to tell me the vibration was gone. I asked them what the issue was and they told me the back tires were out of balance. I had not told them that both back tires had just been changed. Not only did I get to pay $700 for new back tires and realignment but I also got to pay another $75 to get the tires balanced at a second repair shop and pay for a rental car over the weekend for another $90 when there should have been no issues after the back tires were changed by Firestone. I will be hesitant to recommend this shop to others. read more

Went it for tire repair. They did get the tire fixed but they not customer friendly, Give attitude. Also told them be careful with my wheels which they did not do. Tore the plastidip on my wheel which I just did. Took me hours to get them done. They also impacted my lug nuts on which I told them not to do. Very dissatisfied, won't be back!! read more

The first time I went to Firestone in January 2016 for front tires, they were very courteous and informative. I was shocked how fast they replaced my front tires. Everything was done in about two hours. I went back two weeks later and got the same tires for the rear and they were very efficient again, but most of all my tires were about ninety dollars cheaper than other places I checked. I was 2/3 of the way through a road trip when I pulled off the interstate for a stop on a Sunday afternoon. I heard a noise coming from a rear tire and found something that looked like a large bolt impaled in the tire. I looked around for a repair shop, tried a Mr. Tire and a Sears AutoCenter and they both told me they couldn't fit me in. Got to Firestone and Daryl told me they could fix it but it would be a while. Being a Sunday afternoon I understood, and said that was fine. Within an hour they had me patched up and out again - they've earned a good review from me! read more

UPDATE: my review was managed by the social team and they had the manager of this establishment contact me. I truly appreciate Ryan and his thoughtfulness and kind words. He truly was genuine in his approach and care. I will be giving this business a 2nd chance as I do believe that this was a one off and that the situation will not happen again. Thanks Ryan! read more

I just went here to buy 4 new tires and get a 4 wheel alignment. I did not do either. The man who came to help me seemed disinterested in my standard questioning. I asked him about the buy 3 get 1 free tire deal that I had a coupon for, that is printed on the back of receipt tape at a grocery store. The date said it was good until the end of the next month. He told me the deal doesn't exist anymore. When I showed him the coupon, he immediately started telling me that they don't 'advertise' the deal anymore, but that if I had the coupon it was okay. Uhh, what was the coupon printed on the back of the tape, if not an advertisement? So he lied to me within the first 3 minutes I was there. Then, instead of there being some easy to read list of tires I could purchase, he just shows me his computer screen. I don't know how many of those tires are actually in stock or what they're worth, but because this employee who just lied to me says that the expensive Firestone tires are the only ones he has, I should believe him? He didn't explain all of the extra charges on top of the tires, was literally hunched over and mumbling the information to me that I asked for. I walked out. This was ridiculous. I don't normally write reviews. I'm a 22 year old full-time student with better things to do than trash some auto center on Yelp. But you guys deserve this review. read more

My husband took our car there to get a tire patched. He had to bring it back as he was leaving the parking lot when a tire weight rolled off the roof. He assumed it was supposed to be on the tire. The manager was unconcerned about this. Thirty dollars later to patch a hole in the tire and not even sure if it's balanced correctly anymore. We bought four new tires from them a couple months back, but will shop elsewhere in the future. Managers should be concerned about if the work is done right by their employees and not terse with the customer when there is an issue. read more

This location had us coming back for more business for a few years up to 2014. We went back last week (6/16/15) for 4 new tires. The manager in front was no longer there, and we were very patient with his replacement. Communication was a "zero", interest in our questions regarding the tires a "zero", scheduling when we called was a waiting period, which was no problem as we made plans to wander somewhere else while the car was there, but "wow", it all changed, and couldn't get us in until the following day. Yes, they were busy, but he expressed that on the phone, and still gave us the option of leaving the car and getting it done that day. This guy was hard to understand, couldn't be less concerned about being there, knowledge less than 5 on a scale of 10. We called the Winchester, VA location and "day & night" experience, as we drove alittle more 40 miles receive a better experience, customer service, a "smile" low and behold, and "come back and see us". Never going back to Hagerstown, MD location. THEY SUCK!!!!! read more

I called on Saturday and asked for an estimate for front brakes and without asking make, model, etc. was told $175 - I asked for any vehicle, yup any vehicle. How about if I need rotors? $195 - for the set? yes. Well $550 later, maybe I need a math lesson...we pick up my truck tonight and make it to Maugans Ave before we have to pull over because the BACK brakes are burning and smoking. Gee, I had the FRONT brakes put on...Had to call a tow truck to take it back. As we are unloading there are 3 employees inside (this was about 8pm) all looking out the door like we couldn't see them. Nobody bothered to come outside and say Gee Ma'm is there something wrong with that vehicle we just supposedly fixed? Well only if you call brakes burning and smoking something wrong? Am I angry, oh yeah. Never ever again will I take anything to them. What a joke. Except it wouldn't have been a joke if we wouldn't have noticed it and stopped when we did before they caught on fire. This wasn't just bad service, this was putting our lives in danger by shoddy work. read more
