It's obviously not the end of the world, $5 jug of fluid easily fixes this, however...it leaves me wondering what else they didn't perform?? Hopefully my oil was actually changed. February 12, 2020 the truck was dropped off at Aamco because of some noise that seemed to be coming from the transmission. The transmission has less than 19,000 normal miles on it, it wasn't used to pull a trailer, or loaded heavy. Aamco's estimate for the repair was $3600! I have the warranty 36 months/50,000 miles. They made no effort to contact their supplier in an attempt to make a case for what is obviously a poorly remanufactured transmission, for that matter there were no alternatives offered except the repair. The new transmission was the primary reason I purchased the truck, engine runs flawlessly. The review guidelines would not allow a 1 star rating. A $4738 transmission got me 19,630 miles. You can decide if you want to take your vehicle there.
