Came for an oil change. They only had synthetic oil. The guy at the front said he was busy, to come back in a couple hours. Came back and it took them 3 hours to do my oil change. To top it off they told me I had some kind of problem with a leak. They told me to do a pressure check very soon if not now. I've never had a problem with any leaks, and they looked away from me while they said it. I said no thank you. Two weeks later and I realize they did not tighten the oil filter correctly. I have not had any problems with my car whatsoever until I brought it here. Will not be coming back. Repair men are just greedy and want to rip you off. read more

I have been going to Firestone Complete care in Hesperia, CA for 16 years. When I first moved up to the high desert over 16 years ago, my Wife and I knew no one. The first few times we needed car repairs we asked neighbors but the places we went to were not only crazy expensive, but very poor service and problems with the work. Then I stopped into Firestone. I thought (being a chain) they would be terrible. I was SO WRONG. They are fair - they are truthful, example - if you come in for a brake check and you don't need brakes - they tell you! If you come in with a need for repair because you hear a noise - and it ends up just being a minor issue under 30$ - they tell you. The Manager (Bob) is an honest strait forward truthful person. His persona is therefore passed on to his employees. I trust Bob so much (from his help over the years) that when I purchased a 1967 pontiac LeMans 5 years ago, I took it there over a dozen times for ANYTHING I could not fix or upgrade myself. You would think that Firestone is for tires and brakes. Thus is not the case. They have repaired my 67 pontiac my Dodge Dakota 4X4, my wife's Toyota minivan, and my son's Toyota Camry for almost every issue we have had. Less expensive than a dealership EVERY time. Faster service, better quality (long lasting parts) unbelievable service, and most importantly HONESTY! They tell you the truth. They don't try to up sell you, or "bait and switch". I am telling you - I have found no other repair shop like them EVER. And if your repair is beyond what they do there (engine or transmission) they will steer you to another local shop that is equal to them as far as what I have said above. ( this has only happened with one repair- Engine rebuild).I decided a long time ago that when I get ripped off or get bad service I will sound off online. Firestone on Main St by I Ave should not be trusted!!! I took my car there on Saturday for an oil change(which they did). While my car was in their care everything out of my center console and glove box was stolen. Conveniently there is no cameras around the building. Someone has all of my information and when I went to them to discuss on Sunday they said it could in no way be one of their employees. I never blamed their employee but they also never locked my car. Also all of my change and water bottles were left in the car so if a transient was the one to get in why would they not take the thing that would give them money. I was told my Carlos that he would have his Store Manager call me on Monday. At 3:00pm yesterday I called and asked for the Corp number and surprise the Manager was available to talk. He apologized and again said that there is no way that any of their employees would have taken my info from my car. I was finally given his Managers number and I called him. He returned my call as I was picking up my kids from school. I called him back and now over 24 hours later have not heard from anyone!! I have made a police report but I'm so upset at their lack of customer service and them not taking the situation seriously. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES THERE!!!! read more

Yes I got my tire fixed and they replaced it fine but when I first walked in the employee was so rude and abrupt with me. I understand if a customer was being difficult but I work in the customer service industry and am always polite. Everything out of his mouth was an argument with me when I wasn't even arguing. For example, I asked how long it would be because I was going to walk to my parents house (who lived really close) just to kill time and he said "it's not gonna be quick I have 2 cars ahead of you and still have to allow 2 employees to take their lunch breaks so maybe 2.5 hours or even 3." I told him that was fine but if I could have my keys really quick and he said "well if you take your keys how do you expect us to move your car?" He didn't even let me explain I just wanted to get my parents house key off of my key ring without needing to respond with a rude comment. I also had a warranty on my tire and the warranty company said they'd pay over the phone with a card and the employee told me they didn't take over the phone payments. I get that each business has policies but it wasn't a personal credit card and I'm sure they could make exceptions. He finally agreed and kept explaining to me what an inconvenience it was. I guess faxing my purchase order in order to get paid is inconvenient?? I left so frustrated and the employee then told me if the company didn't pay in a timely manner he would just put my spare on. He just assumed that I didn't have the funds to pay for a new tire. I told him to put a new tire on and I would pay regardless. I left very upset and have never been treated so rudely for absolutely no reason. Next time I'll get a tow truck to take me to another tire place. read more

well, I took my car in for oil change and Radiator check/flush it seems like the customer service is not as good as it use to be, is not as friendly like it use to be, maybe this company is understaffed? I don't know? This place had a very good public relations with the customers, I will say Rex is very good with his customers as I have talked to him many times in the past to get work done on my car. I had experienced a blow out near Barstow and was was riding on a spare. When I arrived at the Hesperia store, I was assisted by Franco. I was greeted promptly, and he went out of his way to make sure I was back on the road quickly. The service technician reset my tire sensors, road tested my vehicle and made sure I was good to go. I am so pleased with the service I experienced here. This location definitely made a miserable road hazard into an example of phenomenal customer service. Thank you! I was quoted 1 hr to an hr and a half for a simple oil change. After almost 2 hours i had to ask for my keys so i can leave. The original service advisor Bob would not even speak with me just handed my keys to someone else to hand to me. No courtesy what so ever! All i heard from Bob was complaint after complaint to his fellow workers and when customers asked him how he was,the response was,,"i could be better:, and so on. Horrible ran shop and the tv is all messed up. Hurts your eyes to watch it. I will never be back and im glad that my credit card with you guys is paid up as i will cancel that today. After checking my gas mileage I have determined the tuneup I received cost me 4 mpg. I don't know if they gapped the plugs wrong or used the wrong ones. I was just trying to keep my car in top condition by getting a tuneup and they made it worse. read more

I am a first time customer and I was pleasantly surprised after years of mediocre service from car repair places. The staff (Rex and Mauricio) were so helpful and easy to talk to. I was given a great price for 2 tires and alignment and it was completed with no problems and no surprises. The best thing is they accommodated my schedule and allowed me to drop my car off early before normal hours. Rex showed up early to meet me and I was late getting back and Mauricio was great and waited a half hour for me to pick up my car. All was done with professionalism and a smile.
