I have continued to bring my vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care over the years for maintenance and repair services, and consistently receiving satisfactory customer service from the staff is a plus for my continued loyalty. A few days ago, I had a multi-point inspection done on my vehicle at a Toyota dealership which resulted in suggested services that was, in my opinion, very costly. I came to Firestone to get a price quote on those suggested services to see if the company's prices were more reasonable. Service Advisor, Michael was able to print me a price quote on the services which were cheaper (exception for the Front Brake Job) than the dealership, and I also received some discounts because I have the Firestone card. I was completely assured in having the services professionally done by Firestone. Went there in March 2026 for them to look at a thumping noise. They "test drove" my car for 30 minutes. When I asked what's taking so long, they accused me of harassing them. BTW, the noise can be heard after 2 minutes of driving. They were so mad, they just handed me my keys and didn't provide a diagnosis of my car. Terrible, terrible service! Avoid! read more

I sent my Daughter Hollywood Florida, to get her spark plugs installed according to the vehicle's service manual. I called Firestone over the phone while she waited. The service advisor stated his tech would have to inspect the car for an additional charge before installation. "We can't trust the customer knows what is wrong with the car." I advised him this was a maintenance issue not a trouble shooting issue. As he conducted the inspection the service advisor asked my Daughter why were spark plugs needed. She called me and I had to call him back. "Maintenance Sir" Meanwhile there was a list of upselling items that I declined. There was a time when you could use firestone to maintain your vehicle's maintenance schedule. Upselling appears to be the priority. Got the best price online, they matched it. Installed the tires the next day. No problems likety split! Can't ask for more. I had a flat tire, it was Sunday and I took my vehicle in to have the flat patched. They patched in for $32 and a little over an hour. Fine. Then, when I went to drive the vehicle next time, on that same Wednesday, the same tire was flat again. I took it into the same Firestone and asked them to fix it again and let them know I was just there Sunday. They charged me $32 AGAIN for the same tire. Clearly, the tech never tested to see if it was still leaking the first patch. $64 to patch a tire seems ridiculous and they should have done it the second time for free. When I asked the employees, they started arguing with me and inventing scenarios where this is all my fault. Just go somewhere else if possible. Not great people. read more

Yup! Back again, not even 48 hrs later, but this time, I brought my best friend here with is 2019 Audi A4. He got a flat last night and Audi Roadside Service put his spare on, but we discovered the screw was too close to the sidewall to be repaired properly. FYI, one of the most important safety features on a vehicle are the tires. Never take shortcuts and "plug" your tires just to save a few dollars, while then risking your life and your passengers while driving!!! Shawn, the store manager I've known here for over ten years was off today and I was pleasantly greeted by Danjer, the service manager. I explained to him the relationship I have had with this location for over a decade, where even three of the techs know me, and Danjer was pleasant, addressed our concerns and we left with two new tires...and nice ones at that! I have been bringing my truck here around four years and have never had a bad experience. Always clear communication (if you drop your vehicle off). This morning (real reason I'm writing) I came out to my truck with a flat due to the valve stem; I managed to inflate the tire to around 28 psi and limped the truck over here. So I usually always go to firestone for all my car maintenance. We'll this time I needed to get my car checked out for the battery and alternator. They told me my alternator was bad and I needed to replace it. I told them I just wanted to buy a new battery and that's it they refused to sell me a battery unless I got my alternator fixed....well I pay the 10.99 for the service fee and carry on over to autozone to buy a new battery. They installed it for me and told me my alternator was perfectly fine no need for a new one. They did 2 tests on it which passed with flying colors. So yeah firestone was definitely trying to take advantage of me and I don't appreciate it at all....will not be going there anymore read more

Back story: Car was stolen, joy riders crashed into everything. Had minimal insurance and body repair was more than car is worth but runs perfectly. A few months later went to Firstone (FS) in Hallandale Beach and they changed the oil, no questions asked. Last night developed suspension issues. Drove 5 MPH at 6:30 am to get to the same FS. Waited for them to open and left them with my keys. Even told the guy about the damage which was the same as when they changed the oil. Walked home. I then called to let him know that I forgot to mention a coupon (was going to get my AC fixed at the same time) and he said "it's 49.99 to check the ac." "Yeah, but I have a coupon." "It's 49.99." "I have a coupon from YOUR website, from YOUR company for $19.99." He sounds irritated., "Well, I'll see what I can do and call you back." Five minutes later he calls and says, "We can't even look at your car. You need to take it to a body shop first." "Why?" I ask. And he answered very nastily, "BECAUSE THATS HOW WE DO THINGS HERE." I called FS headquarters and was advised that no, that is NOT how they do things, but that it would take TWO days for someone to get back to me. I went to pick up my car and just as I was about to drive off, the guy comes running out and yelled aggressively, "You had to complain??? Why would you complain, you have to understand I'm not touching your car until it's fixed!" We exchanged sever "FU's" and I drove to Tire Kingdon. They are fixing my car as we speak. read more

I had a great service today. The attendant Liz was great and very helpful. I am so glad to see a woman working behind the front desk. She made my transaction very comfortable and smooth. I needed an oil change. I was glad this location was open early on a Sunday. To my surprise not to many are. It was a great convenience to me. Everything has change to digital. The agreements, pay and forms are all electronic. I am comfortable with that. Sometimes I couldn't help to notice was that the only hand sanitizers are behind the glass barrier.They are in the opposite side. In other words where the attendant are not the customers. The key pads and electronic pencil do not get disinfected often. Now that they went digital everyone is using it and the hand sanitizers is not accessible to the clients only employees. Ok, so yesterday my driver's side window got stuck midway down and would not go back up, so on way home I stopped by Firestone on Dixie Hwy in Hollywood just to price it and see if I could get it fixed the next day which would be a Saturday. I know from experience they are always jam packed on Saturdays so I figured I would just go as soon as they opened. Unfortunately, like a fool I didn't show up until 2:30 in the afternoon, so I expected to spend the rest of my afternoon there. This place is AMAZING as always, somehow the mechanic managed to squeeze me in, and I was in and out in less than 20 maybe 30 minutes tops! This is the exact reason why I don't take my car anywhere else, the gentleman and the woman at the front desk always go above and beyond for every customer and they are both beyond pleasant every time you walk in the door. And I can say the same for the mechanic's that work there as well, they never try to upcharge me or request services that I don't need. I LOVE this place. I used to come here for years when I had my older car as it needed much more care with the high mileage. Since then I've upgraded and stick with my dealership. I came here on a day I had a flat and needed to get the tired patched . So I came and I was told the tire couldn't be saved. I was bummed but the employee told me what I needed to do and felt confident with the info he gave me. I completely forgot the name of the young man who helped me but he was so kind and knowledgeable. I've always had great service and it's very close to where I live. Being new to the area, it can be difficult finding a reliable place to take your car to be serviced. This is a very nice place to take your vehicle for routine service and repair. I needed to have an alignment done on my car and was able to make an appointment, go in the next day, be in and out in about an hour. Very well priced as well. Completely misdiagnosed my car. Told them clicking sound coming from front axle. Which is a typical cv axle replacement. They said the acle fine. Said humming sound coming from the same front left axle. They said it's because my rear tires are low on tread. Wrong again. Only come here if you need tire replacement nothing else. I came a few days ago because my tire light popped up. I decided to take it to Firestone because it was the closest to my home. There were two customers before me, and each customer representative tried to up-sell them new tires because there "treading was low". When my name was called, they told me I had a nail, but it was in a place that it could not be patched and the only way it could be fixed was to buy a whole new tire. I knew immediately that it was load of crap I was getting fed. The next day, I took the car to another mechanic, where they patched up the tire and no new tire was needed. This Firestone is a waste and I highly suggest no one go there. They are trying to steal their money. FYI the quote for all 4 tires was higher than my car dealership. Whoever is the General Manager of this vicinity needs a reality check on customer service as the reviews do not look too good. read more

Went for my regular oil change and requested they check the tire pressure light that was on. They were quite fast but when I went to pick up my vehicle they charged me for the wrong service and when I inquired why the tire pressure light was on the rep clearly looked at the bill and said "yeah it was just pressure that it needed" while looking at the wrong invoice- the one they charged me for - and not my invoice. Tire pressure light continues to be on and nothing done about it. Rep signed my invoice and handed it to me. He has no clue of what he's doing or what he's telling customers and should not be working there. He was more interest in leaving than truly helping. I went in yesterday for an oil change and to get my tires balanced. The guy at the front did not look happy I was coming in at 10 mins after 5 even though what I needed done was very simple. I was told first to wait and see if they had time because they close at 7. Hmmm. Then the guy asked me what oil I had and recommended synthetic. Ok. I agreed to it. Just to be told my oil change would be $92. I also agreed to that I knew it was too high but I needed the oil change. He told me my tires were old and I needed all new 4 and brakes and rotors and acted like he was saving me money by Recommending I don't get my tires balanced because there is no point. I left with a paper estimating my repairs at 2000$. Today I went to a tire shop that said I don't need tires and charged me 25$ to balance my tires. Which completely fixed the problem I was having of my truck shake. I have never in my life felt so cheated by a grumpy old salesman that has no drive to complete his job successfully with 2 full work hours left. Disgusting. FYI they are rip off artists and want to charge me almost 1000 just to get brakes and rotors front and back. Get real. I got an estimate of 260 for all 4. Clearly this an expensive place, all 5 stars reviews they have at front, in my opinion, are very questionable. They are not clear about what you getting charged for, show you really quick their screen full of information and then the total amount, they don't give you a bill, only a paid copy after you have paid and realize you paid $20 or more for hidden charges, this is on top of tax, service and recycling. The whole billing questioning they act pretty silly, you will see. Service done is good so far, front desk is slow, my car was ready 30' min ago parked on a side and I had to go myself and ask mechanic, then front desk told me He is calling me to let me know lol. Initially he denied my warranty on flat tire since he Couldn't find me with my phone number in his system, did 4 new tires 3 weeks before this, I had to show him my physical paid copy. Don't know his same int he middle of 3 desks. Can't give you more than 3 starts. Advise: request a physical full detail copy of total amount before you receive service. read more

I've taken my car to this location for two years already, I usually take my car for oil change and rotation. I have an older car which the rims are rusted and had dust. Ido t feel that they did not rotate the tires at all, I personally check the oil and it looks clean oil, apparently they changed the oil. I will be going to a different fire stone. Those new guys there are LAZY. I just have to say, how would they feel if a tire shop would do it to them.? No satisfied people. Go somewhere else. read more

I arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. My alternator had died. It took over an hr for them to test the alternator. I explained that I lived 100 miles away and needed to get home when I came in. I was told they didn't have a battery charger and couldn't get an alternator before closing and refused to sell me a new battery since the alternator was broken and needed to be replaced (around 4:30) I left hired a uber and went to an autozone and bought a new battery and a pair of vice grips. In less than 30 minutes I was on my way and got home. Lousy attitude. One more bad experience at a Firestone. read more

I came in here today because I purchased some tires about a year ago and one of them has developed some sort of bulge. It appears to be a manufacturer's defect, as there was nothing else that could have caused it and no other damage present. I walked in and talked to a male who appeared to be in his forties with a medium length salt and pepper colored beard. I explained the issue with the tire and he automatically accused me of hitting something, talked down to me with a condescending tone, and then walked out to the car. He came back in after looking at the bulge and further reaffirmed that he believed that I had hit something and that there was nothing they would do about it. I told him that I had not hit anything and he said I could try to come back another day and talk to his manager. This is exactly why it is not worth it for a woman to go to any sort of auto repair shop expecting to get the same service as a man. I was automatically accused of causing the defect myself, and feel that if a man had been there instead of me, this would not have been an issue and they would not have been talked down to, nor accused of causing it themselves. I will remember this "service" when I make future decisions about the care of my vehicle. read more

So I called Firestone and set up an appointment for later that day. I came about 5 minutes earlier then my appointment and asked the gentlemen behind the counter how long he thinks this will take. He answered, "Well it will be about a half an hour before we even take your car back." Ok, since he did not tell me how long it was going to take I was left to assume it was going to be awhile. After an hour of sitting in the FREEZING waiting room I looked out the window and saw that my car was still in the lot. Ok, I will give them a little more time. After an hour and a half my car was still in the lot, after I was waiting for one hour and thrity minutes yeah!! I saw my car move. But wait... it was just that moved... it still was not being worked on. After one hour and forty-five minutes I went to the gentlemen and asked politely how much longer it will take. He went outside and came back and said that they are not able to work on my car and this issue requires me to take it to a dealership. Let me tell you I saw this happen and Firestone looked at my car for a total of one second and determined there was nothing they could do. Here are the facts 1) I had an appointment 2) I waited for TWO HOURS 3)They decided that they could not work on my car my conclusion is that they have terrible customer service, terrible hospitality and terrible mechanics BECAUSE I was able to take my car to A&S AUTO in Davie and they were able to give me a coolant flush that solved the problem and were able to complete it all in UNDER TWO HOURS. Bottom line I will never go to another FIRESTONE and will tell everyone I know NOT to go to a FIRESTONE and I RECOMMEND A&S AUTO IN DAVIE!!!!! For a firestone, I trust this place. I used to live in walking distance so I would take my truck there and now my car. Mitch works the front desk most of the time. He's always been really up front with me about what I need and what I can do later, if at all. He's even re-opened the doors for my roomate and I at like 1030 one night when her car died. As you will see from another Firestone review that I posted in CALI, this one is much different. Sometimes there's a younger guy working the desk, who seems a little confused, so ask for Mitch when you get there. Ask him what you can survive with or without....
