For a firestone, I trust this place. I used to live in walking distance so I would take my truck there and now my car. Mitch works the front desk most of the time. He's always been really up front with me about what I need and what I can do later, if at all. He's even re-opened the doors for my roomate and I at like 1030 one night when her car died. As you will see from another Firestone review that I posted in CALI, this one is much different. Sometimes there's a younger guy working the desk, who seems a little confused, so ask for Mitch when you get there. Ask him what you can survive with or without.... I'm actually writing this review on my laptop using their free WiFi because I literally can't wait.. :) I got here at 6:15 pm (they close at 7:00pm) and typically that's like a "you might as well go home, bub" type of thing to do.. The young woman who was standing in the garage, Evelyn, had seen me approaching and approached me, and I asked if they would be closing soon because I really didn't know when they did, and she simply asked me "What did you want to have done?" and I responded with an oil change. After going back and asking the mechanic if he had time this evening, she returned telling me to meet her inside! BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! At first thing I told her this was pretty much like a birthday present that they could take me so late at such short notice, and she wished me a sincere happy birthday and was more than ecstatic to have been helping me. I had an oil change coupon which used to get me an oil change for $20 but I didn't know my new car had a larger oil capacity than the coupon covered. Be that as it may, she informed me of the fact, and let me know she would still be deducing the value of the coupon from my total payment ($15.00 off). Awesome, so I sat down in their NEW couches (they refurnished, they aren't torn up anymore) and was about to connect to the internet to write a review about how awesome this place is, which I didn't even mention I was doing, and she came up to me and gave me a piece of paper with a coupon that I could acquire and apply to my oil change in the same evening after simply giving a review to that specific site. And she said "I wanted to go ahead and give you a little something for your birthday, so take care of this and I can apply it to your quoted price tonight for even more of a discount, down to $19.07. Save your money for your birthday!" I can't express how awesome this made me feel, having my 21st birthday in two days and she totally jumped on that. If I were able to put negative stars I would but it doesn't give me that option, I purchased two brand new tires from them and get an alignment the same day for my 2019 ram 2500, They totally ruined my alignment which caused the two brand new tires that I purchased for $700 to eat aWay in less than 3 weeks... DO NOT LET THEM DO A Alignment on your heavy duty trucks because they do not know what they're doing... I called corporate and corporate told me that one of their regional managers was going to contact me, two months later I'm still waiting on that calll ... I repeat DO NOT LET THEM DO ANY TYPE OF ALIGNMENTS ON YOUR HEAVY DUTY TRUCK. They will ruin it and make u come out of pocket even more to get it fixed read more

Friendly staff, I had a good experience here overall. The service was fast and professional. I typically go elsewhere but was working in the area and decided to get this taken care of during lunch. I was here a few years ago and they remodel the whole lobby area . It's was nice and now os nicer. It's a franchise car repair place. Sometimes you need an appointment. The down grade is that you never know how much are you ending up paying. Even in my case for a "check tire" display in my dashboard. read more

The following week I took my vehicle to another mechanic. It was not the egr valve that Firestone said was the problem. I was a sensor. I dont understand why they had so much trouble diagnosing the problem. Had it replaced and now everything is fine. I have totally lost my trust in Firestone. Brought in my Honda Accord for service - Started just with an oil change which was priced right ($52 for synthetic oil) and thereafter it blew up for an estimate of over 600$ service which seem very high - . after taking it to a different mechanic I learned that Firestone were up-selling me on things which were not necessary like rotors and also were overpriced ....for example $42 for an Air filter.... the other mechanic did the job for a way lower price. shop around people - find a mechanic which you trust so there will be less guessing and less getting hit by shrewd mechanics .... read more

No stars - Took car in due to a loud noise and other maintenance items including checking the A/C that wasn't cooling as normal. They found the alternator (replaced under a year ago) was bad and the cause of the noise. They replaced the alternator. They also informed us that our A/C compressor was bad and needed replaced, quoting $1300. I found it difficult to believe that the compressor was bad as it was working when we took it in, just wanted to check for leaks etc. I took to another shop to check the A/C. They charged and checked for leaks, found the system was fine. They questioned if we recently had the alternator replaced? If so, they stated that the a/c line(s) have to be removed in order to remove the alternator. Thus, no refrigerant. Regardless to say, never again Firestone! read more

Unpleasant check-in experience. Of course the vehicle didn't qualify for the coupon, but I was not phased by the extra $15 as I needed to get the oil change done already and was willing to pay to not have to put it off any longer. Was told before I went for a walk to make a few phone calls that they would "get right to it." Came back an hour later and was told they wouldn't get to my oil change for another 45 minutes. Was quite disappointed as I've generally had great experiences with Firestone's across the country. Went down the block ("jumbo " turquoise building) and was in done and out in 40 minutes. read more

They installed 2 rear tires on my Acura and insisted that I buy the extended warranty; I declined. I drove off after the tires were installed and my rear brakes began to squeal loudly. I went back after a couple of days and they quoted me $811 to replace all 4 rotors and brake pads. Keep in mind that I had no prior issues with the brakes and they did not mention any issues when they installed the tires. I would NOT recommend them for any services because they are overpriced (a local mechanic charged me $260 to replace all four brake pads and to resurface the rotors) and dishonest (the rotors did not have to be replaced, just resurfaced). Do not use Firestone - Go somewhere else. read more

Refused to do tire rotation, claiming I need to buy 4 new tires. My tires are 6 months old. When I told them I'm not replacing my tires , then they said I have nail in one of the tire and can't be fixed, have to buy new tire. They were soooo determined to sell me new tires! I added my review about four weeks ago regarding my experience at the Firestone location at Dixie Hwy and Hollywood Blvd. I was a twenty year customer whose trust was destroyed by my last experience. I took my SUV in for an AC issue where the air was blowing warm. The onsite technician and the counter representative informed me that I needed a new AC and Evaporator totaling about $1600. I took the SUV to another repair shop and one month later I am riding on the same AC with the air blowing ice cold. The second repair shop installed dye in the AC system to detect leaks. According to Firestone, I have several leaks. After 4 weeks, still no leaks. I will never go to Firestone again. read more

Surprisingly fast, the workers here were very kind and helpful. After my truck was totaled, they gave me a free diagnostic to help me feel better. They are very nice here and worth spending a little extra...plus free alignments for life, with a set of tires is pretty useful too. read more

There is no way that I will ever make the same mistake twice. Getting my own oil changed has never been such a nightmare. It was a Sunday and this was the only place in my area open so I decided to call and ask for a price and a wait time for a basic oil change. The man that answered said it was $37 and the total would come to 40 and that there was no wait at all and to come on down. So I threw on the shoes I'm got there in 10 minutes. At that point I was checked in and was told it was an hour and a half to 2 hour wait. At that point I had no other choice but to go through with it. The waiting area was disgusting with a dirty couch, a charred coffee maker and in and An analog TV that wasn't working and just making pixelated noises on a black screen. I unfortunately had to use the restroom during the long wait and without exaggeration it looked like a crime scene. When my car was finally done I went to pay and the price came to $46. I asked the cashier why I had been quoted 37 to 40 over the phone and he said that I had a special car and he doesn't know why the computer showed this as he had never seen it before. I have a Mustang. As much as I like my car it is not that special. Will never be returning to this location The manager was nice enough to issue me a gift card for my inconvenience and I really appreciate the customer service. Very admirable. read more

This was my "go to" place whenever I had an issue with my car. In the past, I got great service. However, 2 weekends ago, I went to have my oil changed. I had made an appointment online. TWO hours and 45 minutes later, they were finished. Within an hour of driving out of there my car was overheating. Turns out they forgot to put my radiator cap on after they supposedly "topped it off". What was spewing out was clear liquid, which leads me to believe they topped it off with water. Shoddy service. Just picked up our car...$920....pulled away and less than a mile away, it completely died. Called these guys...they gave me a number to a tow company. We called, waited a half hour and got back here to Firestone. No explanation...didn't tell me what was gonna happen. They just asked if we were gonna wait. We told them we were headed to have lunch...asked if someone could drive us to the restaurant (nope)...asked if they would reimburse us for a cab. They said they'd never done a reimbursement for a cab. So, we're waiting for a ride from our friend. Still waiting to hear ANYTHING from them. Absolute worst customer service. Stay away. read more

I have been going here for years. I had a couple of issues in the past but overall service received was good. This month I purchased two new tires and had tires rotated and aligned for ~ $700. We were planning a road trip the next morning. Loaded up vehicle and one of the tires was flat. There was no issue with tires before and the only thing that happened was the servicing. So I go to Firestone get it corrected and ask that service manager who I dealt with call me. He called ..... was not professional, defensive and obviously doesn't value long term customers. His lack of customer service and attitude means they loose my business. read more
