Arrived early, appointment was for 1130. Waiting room was not packed yet it took over an hour and a half just for a simple inspection. Staff was friendly, they had hand sanitizer in the waiting room and tv to watch. Place is fairly clean but I feel like if you have an appointment for an inspection, there shouldn't be any reason why you wait over an hour and a half. Will go elsewhere next time. read more

I've been coming to this FS location for several years. It was close to my former residence but now I drive across town to that location because I like it so much. I have always had a courteous and professional experience with their team. My latest visit was for 4 new tires on my SUV. I worked with the manager to find the appropriate tires and he provided options for payment and financing. Got a more than fair price with warranty, lifetime rotation and balancing. Financed cause its 6 months interest free. Will continue to bring my car there for all maintenance and tires. read more

I will never come near here again. The first day was fine enough when the manager Javier ordered me nee tires but they did not tell me they did not have the rim so I had to go pick one up from the junkyard and that added another day to the repair. I thought they would have had more foresight to let me know that since I told them I had a blowout on highway 59. The next day I brought the rim back and all they had to do was replace the tire. Simple enough but it was made into a huge ideal by the lady manager there. The tech replaced the tire and then just left the car there. I asked the lady manager if we could settle up since the job was done and she told me not to talk to the tech even though I was talking to her. She continued to chastise me and said "you are rude and disrespectful". I took offense to this and asked her to cite an example of my behavior that would prove that. She then said "that's just how y'all are - you act like you're nice but you hide behind your manners." She was even so petty as not to show my the price of the repair before asking me to swipe my card. She told me to have a god day and I told her I would wish her one but it would be impossible for her. Walk if you have to, this place is terrible. read more

I agree with all of the others that appointments don't matter here. They get to you when they get to you like all the walk-ins. I wasted 20 minutes after my appointment time, but decided that it wasn't worth it. There are too many other places that I can go to. I really don't appreciate having my time wasted. read more

Long post, in short I do not recommend this location and would give zero stars if possible. I've been a customer at Firestone on Harrisburg for a long time , I've always had good experiences up until about a year ago, the service has definitely gone down hill. I'll start off by saying the front desk staff do not have good customer services skills , especially Javier who is extremely rude and condescending. I've always been able to look past the rude customer service because they at least did a good job on my car but not anymore because the work they are now doing is terrible. My first bad experience was about a year ago. I took my car in because the steering wheel was hard to turn and was making a rubbing noise. I asked if they could put power steering fluid in my car and they said they couldn't but they would diagnose it and let me know what the problem is. When I picked up my car they said it was the rack and pinion so I paid a lot of money and changed it . When I got the car back the car was still doing the same thing and they said they didn't know why. I took it to the dealership and guess what it was the power steering fluid that was low ! There was no need to change the rack and pinion , they said they would check the fluid and they obviously didn't! I took the loss and moved on . My second bad experience was a few months ago my car steering wheel was shaking slightly so I took the car in and they said it was the engine mounts that needed to be replaced . Having had the past bad experience I got a second opinion and it was that my tire that had a ball , once I changed the tire no more shaking! My third bad experience was just a month ago, I have a lifetime alignment program with Firestone so I figured they couldn't mess up an alignment I can take it in for that, I was wrong . Before I took the car in for an alignment I had changed most of the front suspension parts such as the control arms and tire rods . When I picked the car up from the mechanic who changed the parts the car was running fine. When I picked up the car from Firestone after the alignment there was a really bad shaking noise coming from the right front wheel of the car . I took the car back to Firestone and they said they didn't tighten the wheel lock all the way and that was what the noise was . I picked up the car and the noise was still there! I took the car back a third time and they said it was a problem with the parts I had recently changed . I took the car back to the mechanic who changed the suspension parts and he said that Firestone left a lot of parts loose, he tighten them and the car stopped making the noise . I took the car back to Firestone because my car was pulling to the right and the steering wheel was not centered . When I picked up my car they didn't say anything so I asked if the car was running better and they said yes that multiple technicians check it and it's running straight . I drove off and the car is still pulling to the right and is steering wheel is still not aligned ! And to top it off once of the technicians left his phone number in my car , he should focus on his job and actually fix my car instead of leaving his number! I've given up on this location and will never go back. Unless you only need tires I would say stay away from this location ! It just might end up costing you more time and money than what is actually needed! They obviously cannot diagnose any car issues ! read more

Their price isn't the cheapest but their service is pretty good. I needed to get on the road fast and they were a lifesaver when I had to fix a tire with a bubble before I headed to Dallas. I got two new shoes (tires) for my girl La'Rain (my car). They realigned the tires and fix my girl up quick so I could hit the road which I appreciate cause I was in a rush. Cold night and dark out in my way home from work... my tire light came in and not sure if it's because of the cold or if I caught a Nail.. I called these guys and they happened to be open till 7. I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from this Firestone location. I was ready to get all new brakes and thought Firestone was the place to go. I was so wrong. Long story short, they incorrectly installed the brakes such that the brake pads continued to be in contact with the rotor while in motion. I have been back to this location five times in the past two weeks. First, I had a cv axel boot replaced and noticed a popping sound when turning. They overlooked a part of the repair and fixed it. Pop gone. Then, I started to hear squeaking from my wheels in motion in addition to squeaky brakes. I understand new brakes take around 500-700 miles for the squeak to disappear. However, your brakes should never squeak while in motion (bakes not engaged). Four visits later and a wheel bearing replacement that I'm now thinking was NOT necessary, they fixed the brakes. I had to contact their corporate office for them to take me seriously that yes, the brakes were the issue. Just today, they had their most experienced technician ride with me to listen for the sound they claimed they never heard. Jose, who was actually very helpful, definitely heard the very noticeable squeak and knew EXACTLY what to do and he fixed it. No more squeak. Driving back to work I carefully went over a speed bump and I heard a loud metal rattling sound. They must have left something loose but I have finally had enough: I will never, ever return to this perpetual shop of costly problems. Please find another shop that will do the work right the first time. On the positive side they are friendly, but friendly isn't going to fix my car. read more

I arrived at 6pm and pretty much told me they couldn't repair my flat because they were booked, if that's the case then get more help and change your business hours..
