I was in the process of getting an emissions test done at Honda since early January. There system has been down for over a month at this point. Connected to the state which has nothing to do with Honda. Nonetheless, I still needed this done so that I can get my inspection sticker. Adulting. Annoying. Anyway. Stopped by this Take 5 for an emissions test. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by one of the guys who directed me to the last lane. I waited for about 20 minutes or so, which was fine with me because my current book and I got even more acquainted! I love uninterrupted reading time, while also handling business. Extremely fast service I was literally in and out within five minutes as they checked the oil level they also checked simultaneously the air pressure washer fluid, and air filter. I had asked them if they could please check the tire pressure and the gentleman told me it's already completed. I paid and left very happy. read more

I have a feeling it's specifically this location. I requested an oil change for my beat up work truck. I said I was fine with the economy oil change and I won't be needing the additional 2 quarts at $8.99 a piece because I hade a few rolling around behind my seat. After walking off for literally half an hour they came back and said " I called my manager he said we can't do that." I didn't argue I just politely asked them to close my hood and declined service. They gave a signal to the other person working who promptly slammed my hood. I usually take our vehicles to the Shepherd location. They're way cooler and accommodating. Won't be back anytime soon. I wished zero 's were an option. Although I don't normally write reviews ( people have off days) I do when things are serious. I had my oil changed in April and the wait, the service and the selection of oil was all horrible. My engine started sounding off so although it wasn't time for a change I thought I should. I went to a Valvoline and I had zero oil in the engine! The kind and attentive staff said they doubted my oil had been changed at all, no leaks, no drips, nothing. I have called corporate and they said they will check the videos and get back. I am feeling blessed that I didn't do major harm to my engine! read more

Please know before you come that you will be waiting roughly 25-30 minutes PER CAR. If you have 1 car in front of you, this means you will be waiting no shorter than an hour. You will save so much more time just going to another take 5 oil change (10 min away). Employees are also unprofessional and take their time. read more

I am very patient when it comes to these types of services but this time, I felt completely disrespected. usually the staff is really attentive and nice but this ANGEL person grabbed the service employee who was beginning my service AN HOUR AFTER I arrived to work on a vehicle that JUST came to the shop. This place does not want your business, so don't give it to them. I've been literally turned away from this place the last three times I've "tried" to give them my business. Needed an inspection sticker - no inspection sticker guy was available. No biggie. Stuff happens. Needed an oil change, they didn't have any OIL! Um, what? Can't make this stuff up. Today was the kicker - I showed up at 6:20 and they had two cars in line. They close at 7:00. I was turned away and asked if I could "come back tomorrow" with a careless shrug. Guy didn't want to have hurry or maybe work close to closing time. That's ridiculous. Not coming back tomorrow, there go-getter. How about never coming back again, ever. Went to get an oil change. Young man showed me the dip stick that was clearly over the full line, I asked to double check it. I could see him through the window wiping off the oil to make it look like it met the Full line. For additional context, the guy just dumped a load of oil into car without checking dip stick as her went along. Came for a state inspection. The inspector must have misheard the odometer reading and got me a wrong report. He didn't even check the car and didn't even care for reading the odometer by himself even though he wrote down oddly high mileage number for a 2 months old brand new vehicle. The worst part was I realized it at the county office! Had to come back to fix the report. The same inspector was there and he was complaining about me coming back again. Been going here for a long time and was always very happy with the staff and service. Not this time and I found out how little they care about customers even the regional manager! The manager was not there and I had to deal with the assistant manager who was rude, unprofessional and did not follow their protocol. First, before he even asked me if I wanted the same service, his two employees started working on my car. The manager went to the computer on the second bay. They checked off items on the checklist which they didn't do - wash windows- not done, checked wipers - no, filter was clean after he told me I needed a new one!, no sticker as to when my service should be, and it might sound trivial but no bottle of water. He then screams that will be $90.20. After checking, my last service was $68.00. He started to say he asked me and stopped short because I knew he didn't. I called the shop and they transferred me to customer service. They said their system was down but the district manager would call in 24 hours! No call so I called customer back and they said the regional manager would call me today. He did call and was as rude and unprofessional as the assistant manager. I told him I wanted a refund and he hung up the phone. I have not heard from him again. I will not go back there or to any takes five! read more

Me and fam (6 cars) been coming here for oil and inspections for years, but no more. Suddenly they got a windshield wiper scam going. I was hit with $16 (left "streaks"), daughter for $32 because one made a noise. Of course they've got you over a barrel because they wait till you've been there a half hour to tell you either buy their wiper or waste more of your life getting one at Walmart and coming and doing it all over again. read more

Get your oil changed somewhere else. I took my Subaru here and they ruined my transmission. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle until this horrible oil change. Now it will cost 6338.41$ to fix my vehicle. This company does not stand behind their warranty. No one answers the phone, and they do not return phone calls. At first they said, they would take care of it. Now I can't get a hold of anyone. The dealership, where my car had to be towed to, has been calling them also. They can't get ahold of anyone. Once they have your money and ruin your vehicle, they do not stand behind their product. They also have an "F "rating with the Better Business Bureau. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited. I don't know much about cars in general but the gentlemen who serviced my vehicle was never too pushy about upselling he was thorough and explained everything that the price included (such as a top off before your next oil change etc) I wish I could remember his name (will update when I get my top off) but his energy was incredibly positive. He never once took his mask off, and was very mindful and polite. In addition he was even friendly too my pup who was in my backseat. Over all, it was a great experience. Highly recommend. read more

Location doesn't have properly trained personnel and during Wednesday at noon takes 30-40 minutes to perform one oil change. One guy was bouncing around trying to train two others and the manager was siting inside while the location was backed up. One of the trainees spent most of the time trying to figure out how to work the computer. Basically a one man show management is very poor at the location. read more
