Save Money!!! I took my Jeep in to get some repairs and they quoted me $5,700 to fix everything. I thought it was high and I took it to multiple people, got second third and fourth opinions and to fix my issues I ended up getting everything fixed for just under $2,100. I showed them everything Firestone printed up for me and everyone said that is more than doubled what the actual cost would be to fix. Do not take your car to Firestone, take it elsewhere and you will save so much money. Since I've been driving I've always used Firestone for anything that my car needed, I've used them in Indianapolis for my VW and when I moved to Texas I've always used them for my Jeep. I felt I could trust them and only went to Firestone for anything I needed to fix my cars. It's disappointing but I guess they have a job to do, no issues with the people they had excellent service but I recommended to go elsewhere for what you need. You will save so much money. read more

Called and was told my inspection could be done in 30 to 45 minutes. Drove over and there was not only zero parking spots, the handicapped was taken as well as overflow into non parking spots. I stopped by this Firestone to get my state inspection completed. Another customer was in front of me and we waited for an employee to come to the desk. The female employee (white with glasses) needs a total attitude adjustment. She listened to the customer and then the phone rang- this is where it got interesting. She immediately put the person on hold, then after a few minutes she got back on the phone and began arguing with that person after she said she could not hold longer. The employee literally told that person that she was inappropriate and she had other customers to talk to. When she hung up, she began complaining to the customer about that person! Are you serious? Two additional customers came in and stood behind me in line. A male mechanic came in and totally bypassed me, taking care of the males behind me. Was I invisible? Once it was my turn, I asked the beyond rude employee about a state inspection, she said it would be at least one hour. I asked if there was a particular day that was less busy. She responded, "we are told to say Wednesday, but it isn't true." I left. They are not getting my business, ever. read more

ABSOLUTELY TRASH ! DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!! My only mistake was not reading the other reviews before taking my car to them. After having read the other reviews, it is pretty evident that this business engages in a lot of shady practices and will constantly try to upsell you services you don't need and will try to fear-monger you into believing that if you do not accept their services, your car will explode. I will not only tell everyone to never take their car to a Firestone, but will also actively short the stock of Firestone's parent org - Bridgestone $BRDCY; and will ask everyone I know to do the same. Businesses that engage in practices like these deserve to die. I took my car in for a State Inspection. After checking the car for what seemed like an hour, they gave me a quote for $2000 to get a few things(1 headlight, all 4 tyres, both wipers and license plate lights) fixed. I wanted to get quotes from other places so I did not go ahead with the fixes. However, the very next day my Check Engine light comes on and my car starts leaking oil. My car has never had any issues in the past. I took it back to them and they said they'd have to keep the car to look at it later. Next day, at first, they emailed me a quote for $800 to fix the oil leak. When I called them to give the go ahead and fix it, they said they are still diagnosing the car and will send a revised quote. The revised quote they sent me was for $3000. My $180 sunglasses that I had left in the car were missing and when I asked them about it, their response was "Our mechanics are very well paid and they don't have to steal it" I just got my car towed to another repair shop and got everything fixed and state inspection done for less than $500. read more

So went to this Firestone cause I had a flat tire spoke to Kevin who came out told me all that was wrong with vehicle and he could fix it cause it was under warranty so that was at 730 got call at 330 and was told that someone came in to get air and backed into my car and caused damage to a car I just for 2 days prior Kevin then gave me two options he can call someone and they can get the work done for me and it wouldn't be on the books or I can file a claim I asked for a record of what happen and how car was hit he gave me only the work that was done paper I then go back inside and ask for a copy he then Kevin get upset and says since you want to huff and puff about it you can file a claim now get the f out my store I said I wasn't going nowhere without paper we both exchanged words and threats I then call police for him to go in and get paper and claim info. I don't believe that someone else came and did it and sped off it's impossible to speed off through lot I think one of the workers was moving a car and hit mine but instead of keeping it real he lied no worries contacting legal tomorrow DO NOT GO THERE!! read more

I have been a long time customer of Firestone and for as long as I can remember they have taken excellent care of my car. Which is why I'll be kind enough to keep a star, perhaps this was an off day for them. They didn't appear too busy. I came by this location to get a quick check on my tire pressure (takes them less than 60 seconds to complete) and was told to 'do it myself'. I've never been told that this was a self service feature and I just felt like the person on duty didn't care to help me out at all. My mother took her car to this location to get new tires. Everything was fine initially. We waited an hour and half for the service which was expected. I found a cheaper price online and they even matched it. The problem occurred when she was getting checked out. I came in on a drizzly Saturday morning for a standard oil change and wheel alignment. My appointment was at 11 am and I was there for 2 hours! Whyyyyy?? Like another reviewer mentioned, making an appointment here doesn't mean anything. I seen many walk-in and leave before me. At 12:30p I was contemplating leaving, and so I finally asked the status of my car. They said they performed the oil change, but it would be another 30 minutes for my wheel alignment. He said it all nonchalant too, like I had nothing else to do. Ummmm...sir. Woooosah! Just as I was going to tell them to forget about the alignment, I met Victor. Victor was a kind and wise customer (older white guy) who I noticed had been waiting quite long as well. He sparked up conversation with ease and moved over to a chair closer to mine. He and I were the only ones left in the waiting area after 1.5 hours, and I enjoyed his company until his car was ready at 1:30p. I walked over and shopped at CVS after Victor slowed down my heart rate and proceeded with his day. Victor raved about this location and how Tran Wen (spell check) was the best on staff. He knew that he liked Quiznos and he would sometimes buy him a sandwich. He had so many good things to say about this place, but unfortunately that just wasn't my experience and I couldn't pretend that it was. I was bewildered until I thought about how my American experience also differs a lot from that of Victor's. I observed a staff member speaking in a condescending manner to some Indian customers, and others inquiring about where to park since the parking lot was full. Maybe he was stressed or annoyed by being asked the same question reapeatedly. Uncalled for behavior. I did smile at his turnaround when he asked an intelligent little kindergartner if he was in 1st grade though. That was more like it. In all honesty, I won't be returning to this location. I've been to other locations and have gotten way more work done within a 2-hour time frame (with and without an appointment). I've also received a much more courteous experience. I've been a loyal customer of Firestone for 4 years, and this was the first time I've ever had a true poor experience. When it was time to pay, I met further opposition because they were not able to locate my lifetime warranty in the computer. After searching my phone for proof, he seemed surprised by the truth and my long history of Firestone service, and attempted to bump up his attitude a little too late. You know what? I think I came here to meet Victor. He wouldn't have been at any other location but this one. So I'm glad I was in the right place, at the right time, and I'm also glad that a fellow kind soul like him is getting treated right. I stopped by today because one of the covers under my rear was dragging, asked the guy at front desk If he could look at it. He asked if I didn't mind waiting until he checked out two other customer and he would come look at it. He checked out the other customers and came out to the car, got on the ground and put the case back in place with no problem. April of 2023 I came to this location after having all brand new brakes installed on my truck at a different location. This was the THIRD set of brakes put on my truck as of April 2023 due to other Firestone locations incorrectly installing my brakes two separate times. Came here after multiple brake inspections, and found out the the "brand new brakes" were "damaged". Paid the difference to "upgrade", and didn't ask any question because I just wanted it done correctly. It has been 6 months, and I have been in and out of this store due to very heavy brake squeaking, and occasional shaking when braking. I have been told time and time again that there is nothing wrong. It does not matter how hard or soft I apply brakes, they squeak from the time I touch the pedal until I release it, EVERY TIME. I have a full labor and material warranty through you all and would like NOT to take it somewhere else and pay more money. Spend a fortune on labor and two visits in the same day. Brought truck in because it wouldn't start. Clicking upon attempts. Paid for diagnostic test. Bought a new battery and an oil change. Picked vehicle up. Used vehicle and died that same day. We started thinking it was the alternator. Got it jumped long enough to drive it back to this same Firestone. When they reopened, ran another diagnostic test, the replaced the alternator. By the time it was all said and done, family paid over $800.00. Alternators are less than $100. The first day with the oil change was over $300.... Will update if I can get hands on receipts. Should have solicited knowledge from family. read more

Do not come here. I printed out a coupon for a oil change and tire rotation from firestone's website 2 weeks ago. I called beforehand to make sure I could use it. Upon arriving, the manager refused to acknowledge it and even accused me of printing it illegitimately from some deal website, and that the coupon was 4 years old. I ended up getting an alignment since I had purchased lifetime alignment. At first, he was hesitant and asked me all sorts of questions about the vehicle and owner. He eventually put it in and said it would take 1.5 hours. 1.5 hours later, I called to see if I could pick it up. The guy tokens that they hadn't e en started and that it would be another hour. 50 min later, I get a call from the technician saying I need to change tires soon. I confirm that I can pick it up and drive back. The technician was nice and showed me my treads and said I had another 7000 miles on it. I went back in the office and told the manager I was ready to pick up my car. He told me about my tires. I said I was going to buy from elsewhere since they too expensive, and he shook his head and said no, they weren't. I asked if they had price match and said I would think about price matching. Turns out they don't have emails, so you have to come in to show them anything. I pick up my car and drive back. Then I took a look at the alignment report and find out they had barely done anything at all. I had 7 measurements that were red, and 5 of them were still red after the alignment. So if you want to waste 3 hours for nothing and get lied to, come here. Otherwise, I'd suggest going somewhere else. Not the best service. Asked for JUST an oil change, and somehow three people who came in after me were serviced first. I called to ask if I needed an appointment and was told i could just walk in. There were two cars ahead of me when I got here and I was told about an hour and a half. Turns out Mark told the mechanic he had 3 hours to get my car done... which is why they took the other three people ahead of me. Not cool. Not happy. Not coming back. When I went to ask about it, and if something was wrong with my car, Mark said "you said you were gonna head out and we'd call you when it's ready" ....even though I called ahead... and was told an hour and a half.... I said "well I stayed and you've seen me here the whole time." he shrugged. Obviously they don't care for customer service. The job was done, hence two stars. I asked them to swap out my cabin air filter on my most recent appointment and they called to give me an update mid-appointment and said mine was in such great shape I didn't need it. Never going back here. It's a shame, because it was convenient for me to walk back to my apartment after I dropped off my car. I didn't start going there until I bought their tires. I have free alignments/rotations for the lifetime of the tires, so why not get my oil changed, etc. there, too? The problems started when my brakes began to squeak. I brought my car in, and they had a couple options for my brakes, one being about double the price for a "lifetime" guarantee. I decided on the cheaper package because I wasn't going to drive my car into the ground; I'd probably replace it in 2-3 years. Anyway, after I left with my new brake pads, etc. I STILL heard squeaking. It was even worse now, so I went back to Firestone about a week later. They had it for an hour or two, and then called me up to their desk. "We didn't hear any squeaking." "Well, it squeaks." "We didn't hear it." Okay? So, I took my car home. The squeaking continued. I brought my car in a couple weeks later for the same problem. "We don't hear anything. We even drove it in a tunnel where you can hear everything better but we heard nothing." Are you SERIOUS? I started to get upset, but since I had SOME protection on these brakes from them, I really wanted them to fix it before I went off to some other garage. Third time was the charm (sort of). I brought back my car AGAIN, and they finally heard the squeaking. This time, I walked home and waited for them to call. They called and told me that there was something else within the brake system that needed replacing. "Why didn't you replace that the first time I brought it in?" "Because it didn't need replacing then." "Um, then how did the squeaking get WORSE after you guys 'fixed' it the first time?" "Well, we have a couple options for you..." Ugh. One option was free because it was covered by my brake package, and the other cost money. I went with the free one. When I walked back to pick up my car, they had a bill waiting for me. "Wait, I thought you said that was covered by my brake package?" "The one thing was, but you wanted the thing that was $40." "No...I didn't. I specifically said, 'I don't want to spend anymore money on this.'" "Well, you said to do xyz which costs $40." "No, I did not." I will never go back to this place. I made an appointment online for an oil change and inspection. When I showed up, they said "You can't make an appointment for a state inspection in Texas." Miraculously, a spot opened up and they could do it right then. Oh, but my "service engine" light was on, so I failed the inspection. Um, could you not have noticed that light when you pulled my car in the bay and let me know I was going to fail, rather than go through all the motions and then charge me for a failed inspection? Then they want me to come back tomorrow and pay $79.99 for their diagnostician to tell me why my light is on. (And that doesn't include the cost of fixing whatever they say is wrong with it.) I took my car on 2/11 for a state inspection and oil change. This location is conveniently close to my work so it was easy to drop it off and pick it up on my lunch. The employees let me know that my car barely passed the state inspection due to my break pads being extremely low. I knew this couldn't be true because I had just had my brakes replaced in September at Crest Nissan in Frisco. I took my car today, 2/17, to Crest Nissan and they confirmed what I already knew, my breaks look great! Never will I ever go back to Firestone again. Updating their review because they did not top off my fluids. I noticed my coolant was almost below the critical line. When I called back he said that it was their policy not to feel the coolant because they "did not want to give you a false sense of security". Sounds like they're just friggin cheap. Original review follows: went in for an oil change, and had good service. They check the tire pressure, and also found a light that was burned out. My wife noticed a screw in her tire and since I was at work, she decided to take it up and get fixed. I'm always prepared for the "your wife is driving an unsafe car" speech and knew the "you need new tires, brakes, wiper blades, gas cap, etc" talk was coming but this was the worst of all. She was told the tire was unrepairable (actually written on the work order in 3 places). They removed and put on the spare because it was unsafe to drive. Once she left, her brake light came on and was utterly terrified. After work I inspected the car...the screw was only 1/4" long and only lodged between the treads, no where near long enough to penetrate the tire. After I popped the hood, you could see someone removed the master brake cylinder and never put it back on. Why Firestone? Why do you have to mess with people like that? Why even open the hood for a screw in the tire? Seriously everyone, stay away!! I like Firestone but I will never let anyone I care about go back to this one!!! read more

All in all this place is really good for minor stuff. Bought a couple cheap tires here. Had them patch a little hole on another. Never felt pressured to do anything more than what I ask for. Though they do point out little problems you have but I felt they gave a realistic assessment of them. "Hey your battery is a little low but you should be fine for a few more months". Do not have your car inspected here. You're better off taking it to the dealership especially since the pricing is the same no matter where you go. This location inspected by vehicle on 5/29 and informed me it failed because the check engine light on. I later found out that they shouldn't have inspected the vehicle with the check engine light on. I take my vehicle to Volvo to have it repaired as it's still under warranty. Volvo suggested that I come back to this location because the re-inspection should be free. However, the caveat is this location requires you to bring the car back within 17 days. It was not verbally communicated to me as the consumer. It was just included as fine print on the paperwork they provided. read more
