To start off the nastiest Firestone I been too and have you heard of turning on your heater on a cold day. I noticed a situation where a customer, apparently seeking warmth while awaiting pickup, requested her keys to wait in her vehicle. This instance highlighted a potential opportunity to review and possibly enhance the comfort provisions and policies for customers who may need to wait for extended periods, especially during varying weather conditions. Ensuring a consistently comfortable and welcoming environment for all patrons is paramount. More critically, I was quite concerned by the condition of the customer restroom facilities. During my use, I found the toilet to be unsanitary, with an unacceptable amount of paper strewn across the floor, and visible unsanitary conditions around the sink area, including urine on the floor. Maintaining a pristine level of hygiene in all public areas, particularly restrooms, is fundamental for customer satisfaction and reflects directly on the establishment's standards. Furthermore, I observed that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the waiting room and workshop floor could benefit from more frequent and thorough vacuuming and cleaning. Regarding your service scheduling and efficiency, I experienced firsthand and also witnessed other customers being informed of significant delays or being asked to reschedule their appointments due to the facility being super busy. This leads to considerable inconvenience for customers who have already allocated time for their appointments. Revaluating the appointment system, staff allocation, or communication protocols around potential delays could greatly improve customer satisfaction and reduce frustration. Your Firestone on Weber Road is way more welcoming. read more

Just got a new set of Bridgestone WeatherPeak tires, a coolant exchange and alignment recheck. the technician Hector was truly professional checked all my fluids hoses coming off the radiator and my oil even though my oil was recently change. awesome experience today, also the manager Harry gave me several options on tires, I had the Dueler H/L Alenza Plus on before and we talked about the ultra's today. But due to recent snow and I wasnt getting Blizzaks tires this time I wanted to give the weather peaks a try. Thanks guys for a great experience today and not a long wait at all, I really thought I'd be there most of the afternoon. The turnaround time was really good. read more

Great service by these guys today. After being jerked around by discount tires on Jefferson I headed over here. I got my 4 tires (one of their top brands) and battery changed for $150 less than discount tire quoted me for 4 tires. I came here because discount said they didn't have the tires i needed and it would take 3 days to get them. After they sent me away the other day cus I needed an appt. made the appointment online with them and they still didn't have my tires. A joke. Called this place up and they said they would take me. I had my tires installed and batted in less than 2 hours. Thanks guys!!! read more

Not honorable business practices. My wife brought her car in for an oil change. They never asked her what type of oil. Automatically put in the more expensive synthetic option even though it has never been done before. They did drain regular oil out. This is always a choice at other locations and if you're a man coming in. Don't let your wifes come in to this location alone. read more

I debated on whether or not to post a review and I don't want to be nasty about it, but I am just really disappointed in my latest experiences at Firestone. Last December, I took my car there because I was having some engine trouble. They looked at it and determined that one of the cylinders was misfiring and put in new spark plugs, fuel injector, ignition wire, etc. However, when I got the car back, the car started accelerating on its own and I had to have it towed back to them to inspect what went wrong. The technician forgot to clip something he took apart during the repairs (can't remember what it was called). I appreciated that he admitted it, but that was a very dangerous oversight. A month later, I decided to give them another try because my engine oil light came on. They made the repair and all seemed good and fair, but I noticed that the engine did seem to behave unstable during an idle at stop lights and a few weeks ago, it got really bad. I took the car back to Firestone and they said they couldn't find the issue. A technician later found a hose that was disconnected from the air box, but after connecting it, the problem still persisted. My issue with the hose is that since I was also getting an oil change during this visit, nobody managed to spot the disconnected hose while they were under the car changing the oil. I then took the car to a Ford dealership and they told me that they found the spark plug wires weren't installed correctly. I never told the dealership that I had new spark plugs put on at Firestone, they found the issue all on their own. With that said, I think that Firestone's services are to be kept at the basic stuff - tire rotations, oil changes, etc. If you need engine work, go elsewhere. I was let down. read more

Manny & his team of professionals did another excellent job on Saturday (07/23/16). I came in for a tire rotation, oil change, and a new battery. He gave me the special on the oil change as well as allowing me to use the $10 online coupon for the battery. But, during the usual inspection, the technician John found that I badly needed rear brakes, Thx so much! I never would have checked those on my own. Also, I got a great deal on the parts and labor. Made me wait almost an hour when I'd made an appointment. Charged me an asinine amount for the oil change. Talked to me like I didn't know anything about my car and accused me of not changing my oil enough in a car I purchased 6 months ago. Tried to push me to buy additional additives when I, seriously, only made an appointment for an oil change. Stop trying to sell me things! Brought my truck in for a warranty alignment that was done just a month prior. Reason for coming in was I did a lift kit on it and just needed the steering wheel straightened. They told me my tires were 4 degrees off on the toe and that the lift kit is why it's off. Lifting a solid axle truck does NOT affect toe. Then proceed to try and charge me two hours later just to pull the drivers side tie rod off to adjust the sleeve. I told him to just get the wheel straight. He pulled it off and handed me the before and after and now all the sudden it went from 4 degrees to .02 degrees off which tells me the wheels were turned when it was on the lift to make it seem worse so I'd pay the 2 hour labor for a 15 minute job. read more

I visited joliet firestone for regular oil change. But the alignment was bothering me while driving. I reported the same and waited for about an hour. The technician "Steve" gave me a set of papers and showed how it was before and what he did to adjust the alignment. I really like when he said "I made alignment but was resulted in 99% correct.. I worked on it again till 100%". I was so pleased and this is my store from now. Thanks to Steve.. Its pleasure driving my car now. read more

Had a 2001 Sebring in for no start, told the adviser that there was no warning light it just died while driving it. Told him it had NO codes coming out of the OBD 2 connector and he said ok and said to bring it in and they see. Next day they called and told me the same thing Autozone told me, no codes showing on there scanner, and they cant fix it. This place has crackerjack box mechanics, if it cant be fixed with a scanner telling them what to replace they cant fix it. Sad, I expected more for a 107$/hr labor rate then what the autozone guy could tell me. It ended up being a ignition module/distributor assembly. We will never use them again, even tho there 5min from my house, there mechanics suck and i know damn well it didnt take a hr to plug in a scanner and read it for 5 min when there was nothing to be read. read more

Firestone sucks!! I have been in the car shops within the pass couple of months too many times. My family have 3 cars and we want to be ready for the winter. My heard squeaking while breaking and pulling off the car. I took it to Fire Suck and told them I hear squeaking when I break and pull off and I don't know if it's my breaks.They performed a break inspection and told me what the alleged problem was. My calipers and brakes blah blah. The fix was over $1000. The mechanic test drive my car and as he is pulling up.. I HEAR SQUEAKING. The guy at the front desk didn't tell him about the noise only to do a brake inspection. The mechanic immediately said oh that noise is your ball barring. WTF!!!!They fix the ball barring. This doesn't end!!!! Not a month later more squeaking and I am back at FIRESTONE and they tell me that is a different noise that is your strut and a combination of other crap and it just went out. They quoted me a $1600 job. Fire Suck are ripoffs and liars. They screwed up in the first place and did not diagnose the issue because they did not communicate. They took away my decision making by not being thorough. I will never ever step foot in this God awful place again. I had my struts and craps taken care of by another mechanic which I will review soon. read more

Horrible service. I called right when they opened. Spoke to Danielle about having them do an Uber check out for me. She said they close by six so I would need to be there by five. She asked if I could get there early. I said I would try. I left work early and got there at 4:40 and she said she didn't know if she could take me because there were three people before me. I said I had an appointment. She turned the screen and said "I don't have any appointments". She said she was the only woman there. When she told me her name I said she is the one I spoke to and she didn't even put the appointment in. She said she would get me in but I will have to wait. No thanks. I've had mixed experiences with this particular fire stone in the past few years that I've used them. It really all depends on who you talk to. Most of the staff is pretty friendly and straightforward, but every once in awhile you can get someone was a bit grumpy. Their prices are higher than most other places, but their work seems to be good. I have a lifetime wheel balance and alignment, and I have it done once every few months. When they sell you the service they will tell you that it's as long as you own your car, but when you come to get it done you'll find that it's as long as you own the tires. that means if you switch tires your lifetime wheel balance is gone. Like I said, it all depends on who you talk to. All in all it's not like they're a bad shop, but they can certainly stand to be a little more competitive price wise. read more

Went in to have my snow tires installed. The wheels were filthy, completely covered with whatever white substance they use to mount the tires. All 4 wheels were also damaged badly (scratches, scuffs and gouges) and they installed one of the directional tires backwards. I also asked them to please take care with the interior which is a very light colored leather. There was black grease on the inside of the drivers door and they put the tires (in plastic bags) in the back seat but somehow managed to get the seats stained in several places on the backseat with the same black greasy substance. Needless to say I wont be going back and if keeping your car looking nice is important to you I would not recommend you use this retailer. read more
