I went to Firestone on 12/20 to have a set of four new tires installed along with an alignment. I arrived with an appointment scheduled for 3:00 PM, but service did not actually begin until around 3:30 PM and wasn't completed until a little after 6:30 PM. Even after waiting that long, the alignment was not done. I returned on 12/24 to complete the alignment and have the TPMS sensors fixed. Before coming in, I verified that the two rear sensors were out and made that clear to the staff upon arrival. My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM, but service didn't begin until approximately 10:15-10:20 AM. After about three hours, I was told the car was almost finished. Shortly after that, I was informed that the right front TPMS sensor was also out. This was not the case--it was working when I arrived, and I had specifically explained which sensors were out beforehand. The staff did not seem apologetic, and this issue should have been verified by them before starting work on the vehicle. Overall, the customer service could have been much better, and the lack of communication and verification caused unnecessary delays and frustration. read more

Took my car here to only replace one tire. My car is only 1.5 years old around 25k miles. I've been taking it to the dealership for regular oil changes and tire rotations since its fairly new it does not require much maintenance yet. The guy at the counter who looks like Bad bunny's little brother suggested I replace all of the tires. I said no, just the one (Already a red flag) because tires typically last a little over 50k miles. He said they would also take a look under the hood at the liquids and filters etc. I said okay. He suggested I replace some things, I said no just the tire. Fast forward to now - I'm at 30k miles and ordered 2 new filters to replace (as suggested by the manual). The engine air filter hose was unplugged and the part the hose connects to was broken. I would not recommend taking your car to this place. As mentioned I only went here to replace one tire. Now I have to replace that part as well. If they would have at least been honest and told me they broke it, even by accident things happen and I understand that - to not say anything at all is just wrong. read more

Went to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Lake Worth with my road hazard joke coverage, Was there over an hour and a half. When I saw the Tec try to jump my Hybrid I went out and got in my car and told him its a Hybrid and it's already running. It started when you pushed the button. He said no it won't start. I told him no its running if I put it in gear it would run over you, be careful! He said you run over me, I'll f...in' sue you. The next morning I went to Discount Tire Stores in Azle and they had new tires on my car in less than 10 minutes. Would have be quicker but I didn't now where Firestone put the wheel lock. Customer: My wife, (asian) Service requested : Vehicle safety inspection 2020 Ford Fusion Value: good Vehicle passed without issue Courtesy check (not requested, but performed) indicated bad battery on sheet, no documentation on WHAT was bad about the battery. Simply marked rainbow sheet with B on Battery in red column with REPLACE checked. Vehicle is under warranty/Maintenance contract and serviced 3 months ago by Ford. Battery was fine. It was only taken to this location because she works out there, and took it there last year for inspection and it was only 26$. Charged my wife for inspection, battery and labor of nearly $400, for what was supposed to be a 26$ inspection. This is common practice for when someone doesn't understand that the courtesy check is not part of the inspection and has no bearing on the inspection. She was under impression when they told her she needed a new battery that it wouldn't pass inspection without it. They did not provide detailed information to her on the battery check/status that would indicate it needed replaced. Simple, only get the service requested, refuse ALL up sells. This is not my first complaint about Firestone. 3 other locations have also done the same to family and friends that do not speak english well or are women. Usually to the tune of thousands of dollars. Avoid using Firestone. read more

This review is for an auto inspection. I went in on a Sunday morning and was told by a friendly employee that there would be about an hour wait because they only have one person doing inspections and there were a few cars ahead of me. Everyone else had apparently also waited until the last minute to get their vehicles inspected. LOL I appreciated being told about the wait time. Also, this was one of the few places around that has a Sunday auto inspector on staff. The wait room is comfy with lots of chairs and a TV. The shop was very busy for a Sunday morning. An auto care shop with Sunday hours is a plus in my book. As promised, I was outta there within an hour. I'll have to check out this spot for oil changes and other maintenance. I went to Firestone at Lake Worth, TX location. I've previously went to them for a lot of business. Last August ( 2023 ) I had a Steering Angle Sensor replaced on my 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum AWD vehicle. The Stabiltrak sensor was coming on and off in relation to service Traction Control. I was told it was a faulty Steering Angle Sensor that was the problem. Well after FIrestone technician installed the part; the same sensor came on and off at different times. I got the vehicle looked at by a Cadillac dealership in Ohio and they said it was the same part that was replaced by Firestone and that the steering wheel was off by 7 degrees when the steering wheel was centered. I brought it back to Firestone at Lake Worth, Texas location. They said it was the Front Bearing on the axle and so I had that replace ( another almost $700.00). I left the Firestone and the Stabiltrak light came back on after airing up tires. I took it back and they finally agreed that it's possible that it was a bad part, so they agreed to replace the Steering Angle Sensor. The Stabiltrak came on again and I took it National Tire and Battery in Richland Hills, Texas and they said it was still the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor. I called Daniel at Firestone and he at that point offered a full refund for my troubles. I went to Frank Kent Cadillac in Fort Worth and was told that the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor was put on backwards. I just want it to be known, because this was not quality work. I went to several different places and came up with the same issue it should have been resolved at Firestone at Lake Worth, Texas location. This took a lot of time, money and put me and my passengers safety at risk. I'm am more than disappointed and disturbed by this issue!!!!!! read more

My son took his car in last weekend needed brakes. They told him he needed front brakes rear brakes rotors and had a leak in the rear cylinder. They wanted to charge him $1500. I told him just bring it home. I took it to another shop . They did his brakes for $240. He didn't need rotors and he only needed the front brakes done and his cylinder was not leaking. There's gotta be something that could be done with fire stone. This is not the first time that they told us that there was something wrong when there wasn't. I took my 20017 Lexus in for new tires and alignment. I left with no alignment and my tire sensors broken and ABS sensor broken. When I went back two days later they re-aligned my car and told me that I would need to check for recalls on the sensors!!! There's were zero issues prior to new tires. I take the car to Lexus of Fort Worth. There are no recalls and I am told that the sensors have been broken. Guess what.... No one has touched my vehicle except Firestone. Also guess what...the manager Daniel is not returning my calls as he is to busy. So come Monday I will be calling corporate! This is crap. read more

Worst Firestone I've ever been to in life. Dropped my truck off Sat morning 7:30 AM, for tire rotation and air conditioner check. Trusted these sheisty folks to take care of this simple task, called them twice, checking on truck. Amber (Firestone) front counter tells me both times , they were pulling by truck in the bay, and they call me the minute it was ready. I hadn't heard from them so I went there at 6:00 pm , they close at 7pm, to see if it was almost ready, I get there my truck had not been touched, it was parked exact where I'd left it. Guy at front counter says "oh, you're next". I told him how disappointed and dissatisfied I was. He offered no apologies, no explanation, nothing. I am totally pissed off w this Firestone, they can not be trusted, one big joke, extra sorry customer service and they could care less. read more

I have ordered tires online at tires.com and had them shipped and placed on my old car. There was a cost for installing them, but I saved a ton and got their quality service. I also like the lifetime alignment. Thats a great deal to get to come back and align your tires free of charge for pretty much forever. They have friendly service and the place is really clean too. I had good service here for the most part. My issue is with what they had showing on the tv in the waiting room. The movie playing was not at all family friendly. Granted, it was a funny movie and I am NOT easily offended at all. But as the only female waiting in the waiting room full of men, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the subject matter of the movie. Not professional Firestone! I waited outside with another woman - a mom who had her children with her and could not let them inside due to the foul language in the movie. It is not okay to have customers with children wait outside because you feel the need to show a movie that has offensive language and explicit scenes. We take both of our Acuras to Firestone. They do a good job, will give you an accurate quote, and finish the work on time. On a few rare occasions we still need to take the cars to the dealer because there are some parts only he dealer has, but 90% of the time, Firestone can handle the job. I like that they rotate my tires whenever I get the oil changed, and since I bought the tires from them, they do it for free. Also they fix tire leaks from driving over nails for free. Another plus is that you can go to any Firestone and the same courtesies apply. read more

The manager is a joker and should be fired. I took my car for oils change and tires rotation. I called multiple places and was told 1.5-2.hr, and Firestone told me 1-1.5hrs because of NO APPOINTMENT . That was why I took my car there. I was waiting for 1.5hrs and my car did not move, I told the manager and they moved my car in 5min later. Guess what? They did not touch my car for next 2hr. I was very upset. Nobody kept me updated. Time is money, and 4 hours is not worth for oil change. The manager did not manage the store but talking with a non-employed lady in the garage for a while. Please do that after work. Before I left, I asked the manager "would he wait 4 hrs for oil change and tires rotation " he told me because I don't have appointment and they need to take care the appointment first. Really?? I was told 1.5hrs for NO APPOINTMENT that was why i wait and did not make an appointment. Now it turned out 4hr. Manager, your job is managing the store and you seem like don't do the job well. You don't deserve it. And the way and attitude you you responded to me was unacceptable. I took my truck in to have the water pump and timing belt replaced. I received a call after they looked it over and they told me they had done a diagnostic and that my head gasket was busted and that the engine was damaged. They went on saying that they could find me a used engine and that the estimated cost would be 13,000 dollars. I knew this could not be true, I did not drive the truck far after the water pump went out and everything was fine. I explained this to the service person and she told me that would not replace the water pump and that it was against company policy to even work on it. I went to pick up the truck and they charged me 75.00 for a diagnostic check that I did'nt even approve. I then took it next door to Pep Boys and had the water pump and timing belt replaced with no problems. Guess what? That was all I needed and my engine was not damaged nor did not need a headgasket. It is running great now. I'm pretty knowledgeable about cars and engines and did not get fooled by these shysters, although I did get cheated out of 75.00 dollars for nothing. I just wonder how many people they have done this to beside me and the Gomez review. I just wonder how many older folks or women they may have cheated out of their savings to the tune of 13,000 dollars. Please don't go there for any kind of mechanical repairs. read more

I got a flat tire on the side of the highway but replaced it with a spare. I called and Daniel answered and quickly informed me they had plenty of tires to replace the spare. I got there at 6:30pm and Layla greeted me. Layla was amazing and super friendly. She explained to me the difference between the tires and the best one to buy. Avoid. Went in to get a tire patched that had a slow leak, told counter staff that it was the driver rear tire. A piece of metal was easily visible in the tread, which I communicated to staff. Wait for the repair, get called up to the front and am told the tire was patched. As I walk to my car, I see the tech who worked on my car and I ask him how the patch went. He said he didn't patch anything because the front left looked fine. I told him it was the driver rear and then he told me that it doesn't matter because he "checked" all the tires and all were at the same psi. I told him I had topped off my low tire today because I needed to drive my car and then proceeded to show him the metal in the driver rear tire after about one second of effort spent searching. Without an apology, he told me to go back inside and tell the front desk. I told front desk, asked why I was told the tire was patched, didn't get an answer, and then they took car back in to actually fix the tire. The tech used a seat cover and floor mat the first time but was kind enough to NOT include it the second time, apparently I deserved lower quality service for asking them to do what they said they would do? I have worked in auto shops before, they are dirty, greasy, oily. A few tips: have some respect for your customer's vehicles, say sorry when you mess up, and be thorough the first time. This place has to be the worst mechanic shop I have even been to. They are slow as hell and are scam artists. I took my car in for an alignment, because as I park my car on the street in front of my house, I sometimes run the curb, which messes up the alignment over time. They refused to do even an alignment check on my car, saying that my tires were bald and that their system can't get a reading. Firstly, my tires are not bald. I'll have to drive on those tires for at least another couple years before they get close to bald. Secondly, alignments can be done on worn tires. It has negligible effects to the suspension, and they absolutely should have been able to give me an alignment to fix my problem. Thirdly, on top of this, they wanted to replace my front lower control arms due to worn bushings, which I'd be okay with if they didn't want to charge $185.99 each for a part that's only worth $31. This is before labor. With parts, labor, and new tires (and a bunch of other random things like 'air valves' that I don't need), they wanted to charge me almost $1,000 for something that shouldn't even cost half that. I could buy an entirely new engine for my car for less that than money. Fourthly, these people move slower than drunken sloths stuck in molasses. I waited almost two hours for them to tell me that they couldn't do what I needed them to do. Then they try to get me to spend almost $1,000 for no good reason. I will be buying and installing front lower control arms my self and buying four new tires and an alignment at Discount Tires down the street because they understand how much things cost and realize that scamming people and treating customers like they're stupid is not how you stay in business. I will not be going to Firestone again, except maybe to talk to their manager about how their shop is doing very poorly, but I don't even think it's worth wasting my breath over. read more

They are hustlers and thieves. Do NOT trust them if you do not know much about cars. They will attempt to scam you into spending much more money than needed. I went to get some brake pads changed thinking it'd be a simple $45 part and $50 labor as usual. But then they come back telling me that there's upwards around $500+ damages to my brakes that needed to be fixed immediately. I instantly knew they were lying and demanded they take my car down immediately. I was very suspicious and watched them closely afterwards. They took their time taking it down and they still tried to get me to let them do more inspections. When I finally almost had to forcefully take my keys from them, I was able to get everything working like new for a $20 part at another place. Went to get my brakes check. They broke the bolt off the front wheel, he said he was going to fix free of charge and also said it wasn't the brakes it was the bearings or hub assembly. He didn't replace the bolt like he said he would my wheel was wobbling and then he said it was because of the hub assembly, no it's not. I'm getting a second opinion. Very shady work going on at this place. Purchase a lifetime alignment and was pulling to the right. Came back then was charged additional $97 to tighten the bolts they had loosened. There was no "heads up we are going to charge you again for an alignment." Customer service at a low half star. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My wife went in this morning because she had a flat tire and was in a hurry to get to work. The tire could not be fixed so the technician sold her a new tire, never mentioning that there was a good spare in the spare storage area! I am highly pissed that they took advantage of her in this way. I was planning to buy a new set of tires for this vehicle anyway and would have been happy to buy from them but normally you get deals on buying a set of 4 tires, not one single tire. Scheduled a noon oil change yesterday and got online confirmation. Neither my son nor I live near this location but it was convenient to where he works. I met him there and we arrived 10 minutes early. The guy at the counter said there weren't any opening so I told him we had online confirmation. He went on to say they only had 1 mechanic and if they ever got to it - it'd be the end of the day. I asked him at what point he planned to call and tell us since they have our phone number. He said it was the Manager's job. Seems to me if you're sitting at the counter taking ownership of appointments then you'd have the decency to pick up the phone and start calling customers to let them know. Total waste of time and gas. We wont return. The good stores are Bold and Overton Street locations. read more
