If I could give less than 1 star I absolutely would! Came in to get an oil change and an inspection. I was recommended a fuel filter change that was on "special" for $30 but I was charged $50. Received a failed inspection due to front tires needing to be changed (low tread) although their free inspection print out stated they were fine. Bought new tires and went back within the 15 day window to not repay for another inspection. They tried telling me I was past that date but when asked to have my paperwork returned they said nevermind. Jiffy Lube seriously needs to do better and have your free point inspection with oil changes reflect what really needs to be addressed. Also, just get a whole new state inspection staff! read more

Called ahead of time due to my make and year I already knew I needed to purchase my own filter for oil change.. I was told buy and we will take off at purchase what you spent( nope didnt even offer when you knew it was me only complained about how your not contacted with the place I purchased it from." Ok. Awaiting the expected air filter question all Woman love to hear I get a fckn leaf added to the mix with a not so bad filter.. me knowing when I purchased my car and how many miles I put on it of course said yep replace.. quick in and out but trustworthiness of this place yet again and multiple family members NO thanks. I wish I had done my research on Jiffy Lube inspection scams before going. Apparently it is common practice at JL to give "failure" inspections and claim the wipers need to be replaced. This Jiffy Lube certainly engages in this practice. The irony is that I took my car here less than a month ago for an oil change, and there were no problems (including the wipers). Unfortunately, this seems to be prevalent in JL's across the country. read more

I went there for an inspection. They said my wiper blades needed replaced or my vehicle wouldn't pass inspection. I purchased high end blades in June of this year, 3 months ago & have had no issues. I've been using them for a while and never had an issue. I took my car in Saturday for an oil change and found that the technician from the previous oil change had over torqued the drain plug and they rounded off the head trying to remove it. The young man I was dealing with explained what had happened and assured me that they would make it good. True to his word, they replaced my oil pan at no charge. It's been a week and still no leaks from the new oil pan so I'm changing my review to five stars. They stood behind their work. read more

When my car started making weird noises and shaking, I grew concerned... However, the Jiffy Lube team was but a few miles from my house and they were there for me when I was finally able to take my car. Mike and Kye, the store managers are really nice and very helpful. Patrick and Brian did the tune up and did it very well. They even detailed my engine and it looks so nice. I just want to thank the team, Miranda, Josh, Kayla, Angie, Alex, Steve, Spencer..... Jiffy Lube - Detailed engine. - Oil Change Stations Near Me - League City, Texas

I'd give zero stars if it was an option. My simple oil change took an hour to complete when they only had 3 cars in the shop. To make things worse, I found a broken part from their service when I left. They day after service my emissions light went off. Upon investigation, I found out they broke off a tab that keeps my air box shut during their once over. I returned to the store and talked to the manager, Darrin. He read the diagnostic code which indicated an air/fuel mixture issue and consulted his mechanic. The mechanic never looked at my car but decided that wasn't the problem and that I needed to take my car to my Infiniti dealer for troubleshooting. What's frustrating is that a simple google of the code suggests that a vacuum leak in the system, i.e. an air box that doesn't close all the way, can throw the code. Even though it was documented that they inspected my air filter because I have reusable K&N which was noted on my receipt, he still wanted to talk to his employee which wasn't there to determine if the broken tab was preexisting. This location tries to add on every service known to man, worse then a dealer, so if it was preexisting then I'm sure he would have recommended that I have it fixed. The manager promised me a call back the next day so that I'd know if they were on the hook for the part. That call never came. I called and left a message the following Monday but never heard back. It has been a week now. I gave up and ordered the $80 part myself and will change it out myself too. My decision to save time by visiting Jiffy Lube while running errands will cost me over $100 more than a dealer visit and at least 2 extra hours of my time wasted. I will never visit this store again and will return to my dealer from now on. read more

These dipstick VULTURES wasted over an HOUR of my time trying to up-sell me on new tires, brakes, oil valve seals, you name it, they were making up stuff -- trying to convince me to spend more money. Came on a Sunday for an inspection. Although it was very busy Travis was taking care of everyone that pulled up with a smile in the parking lot, running from car to car then back in to the front counter. They offer discounts for military and certain employers(ask about discounts) They also offer a free car wash from Baybright car wash with any.. purchase. Only con is where the location sits, it can be hard to get in and out. read more

My experience started the minute I pulled into the parking lot. I was properly greeted and directed to waiting room after choosing my services. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Coupons were offered and all services performed were explained to me thoroughly. 10/10 recommend this location! I got an oil change and tire rotation and was in and out within 15 minutes. Was one of the first people to arrive and as more people showed up everyone else after me were getting their vehicles shortly after. I waited an hour and a half for a patch on my tire. My car was waiting outside in the parking lot and everyone else was getting their vehicles as soon as the service was done. I did not like the service here at all. I was also the ONLY Hispanic and I hate to use that as a reason why I waited so long but I have to other reason to believe this. I was waiting in the waiting area longer then anyone, my car was in the front the whole time and none of the employees bothered to ask who's vehicle it was or try and get me checked out.. So I went there about 6 months ago every thing went descent. So I decide to go back since it is extremely close to my house. For some reason they charged almost double the second time for just an oil change. Then they cannot print out a receipt because their computers are down. So the next day I check my bank and they charged my card 3 times. I call and they say they won't remove the charges until I can come prove it to them. So now I have to leave work early to come prove to these rockstars they did the same charge 3 times on my card so they can remove it just seems outrageous and a little shady. Please be very careful and pick another oil change company because after taking my car there for a simple oil change, after a couple of days we had an oil leak took it back and they did not know why it was leaking oil so the manager said to take it to dealer and let him know what the dealer said. WELL after 4,000.00 and 3 trips to dealer there was a big nick in the seal so when we took the proof of all our damage to my engine and alternator, the not so smart main office said they were not going to take responsibility for any of our damage and inconvenience for just a simple oil change. I'm giving this business a high rating only based on the one experience I had with them. I went in there fully expecting my car to need new brake pads due to squealing noises. The service technician took care of us right away that Saturday morning, even though the place was busy, and told us they have a free brake check. He proceeded to work on the car and after about half an hour, he came back to the waiting room and informed us there's nothing wrong with our brakes. The cause of the squealing noise might be related to the cheap quality brake pads currently being used. No charge at all that day. What great news! I applaud this business for offering a free brake check and this service technician for being honest. read more

They didn't make me feel like a dumb girl, and even pulled out a coupon that I happened to have in my car so that I could pay less for a new air filter. Also, they asked how many miles my car can go between oil changes because mine is 7500 not the standard, so he hand-wrote me a reminder! Love that little touch! read more

Went there for an oil change. Most of what Jiffy Lube offers in addition I can change on my own but today I decided to allow Jiffy Lube to up sell me on additional services. One of those services was a cabin filter replacement. I knew it needed to be changed I just hadn't got around to it. The issue here is the technician misplaced the cartridge and should have notified me. Instead a bare filter with no cartridge was placed in the cabin filter area behind the glove compartment. As I was leaving Jiffy Lube I kept hearing something rattling around. I figured they may have left some tools in or on my vehicle. After stopping twice I was finally able to locate the source. It was my cabin filter cartridge on the roof rack. Luckily the rack kept it off the road. Once I made it back to my place I took it upon myself to double check everything they touched and I placed the bare filter in the cartridge. The tech knew he/she messed up. Probably figures most won't or don't know what to check. I'll stick to straight oil changes in the future. Jiffy Lube was my oil change spot but next one I'll try someone else. read more

Jiffy is alittle packed today but I'm sure it's cause of the holiday this weekend or they have a $14.95 oil change on groupon. Even with a line though they are moving pretty fast. They have wifi,coffee an Tv while you wait on your car or truck. Technicians are pretty good and knowledgeable they also offer state inspections if you need it. read more

Never coming back here. Brought my Mazda in for an oil change after 5000. My previous change was at the shop in Florida I used for 6yrs. JL claims my drain plug was stripped & leaking when I got here & if they didn't retap it with a larger hole that it would leak out with a week or two. If it hadn't leaked more than a pint in 4 months, whose fault is it? My shop in Florida was highly rated on all sites, & I never had a problem with them in 6yrs. I ended up waiting for over 3hrs, first waiting for a replacement plug (which ended up being the wrong size) now waiting for a bay to open where they can drill the pan for the larger plug. Maybe a small leak is tolerable - that's real life and something anyone who works on hardware should be able to tell the difference of. I'm never coming back here. There are choices. I can't trust these guys. read more

First and last experience with this place! Went in for a quick oil change... that is the only credit I will give them is that I didn't have to wait long for my vehicle! After a vehicle assessment by the tech he came in with a list of issues, although I appreciate when someone is checking all aspects of my vehicle I did feel a bit scammed with his evaluation. A simple oil change turned into coolant levels, power steering fluid (my dad checked and it was full), wiper blades (I had replaced less than a year before), and a tail light. After deciding to forgo several of the extra recommendations I informed the staff that due to being rear ended my trunk latch was a little off and to be cautious when closing the trunk... fast forward to the next morning when I find that they broke off the latch completely and broke the tail light cover as well!!! Not only did they forget to mention this to me I had also asked my dad look at my car and all the issues they found were not accurate either! Always worried about being scammed from mechanics and this place is the reason why! Myself nor my spouse will ever return to this location nor another Jiffy Lube for that matter! read more
