He further told us about the shops botched attempt at trying to fix the issue by putting a sealant glue around the cap, without notifying us of the issue they caused. When we escalated the claim to Valvoline, to repair the damage, we were denied by the manager of this location. He stated they had videotape evidence that their oil change attendant did nothing wrong. Called the store, rerouted to the national call center, and nobody has any solution other than to come back and they can install it...after a 20 minute return trip at 5mph. No apologies, store manager ignored me, and after 15 minutes of messing with it (because it was probably bent to sh*t at this point) they just told me it was done and sent me on my way.
