**This is for my own personal experience and should be used as reference.** I had a flat tire and came here since I have had service completed with them before but at a different location. They were able to take me on short notice and was able to find out the issue quickly and was able to fix the flat.... ...too bad it was the incorrect fix. I was advised that the tire valve had gone bad and needed to be replaced, which makes sense due to the lack of it holding air. So I agreed for them to fix it, and they acknowledged that they were going to replace the sensor as well. They replaced it with the wrong one and inserted a default sensor. Now the guy told me over the phone they had to replace it in order to keep the air. But he never said it would be with something that wouldn't respond to my system! Now my light has been on ever since (which is not the end of the world). The kicker is when I took my car to Toyota for service they checked it and said they can replace it...for a COVID price! #Nope Now, would I recommend this place...sure for emergencies only and maybe if you want tires. I have used this place several times and I am ashamed of it. First time, got my tires changed. They lost my lug nuts. They capones they could not find the wrench that was in the truck. They also used another wrench to remove them scratching the ones they did not lose. Later when I was home I found the wrench in the seat compartment as all Tacoma's have. Second time, I took my truck to get oil changed. Someone stole my CDs. I had those over a decade. They were in my truck compartment since I got my truck in 2017. I didn't check until a week after oil change. I called to inquire manager swore his guys would never did that and gave me my money back. I regret not making a police report and make them show their recordings if that shop. I let it go. Third time, after those incidents I took my truck else where. During that oil change they tell me screws from plate under the truck are missing. So more lost parts from Firestone. Do NOT go there. read more

Dangerous! Be careful! Pay little to no attention to detail. Went in for a simple oil change and next day under my hood was overheating/smoking. Hood completely covered in oil because they failed to put the oil cap on. All they did was reimburse and wipe down the excess. Never offered a powerwash of the spill or anything. I've been going to Firestones across America and have never been to a store as bad as this one. They have no concept of time or appointments and their employees just sit around chatting with each other for hours while the customers sit and wait wondering when the job will be done. It's simple jobs too, such as oil changes or tire balancing. The quality of work is less than par. I had two instances of a leak at the oil filter and drain plug due to not being tightened and several lug bolts broken off by impact guns and not reported to me. I had to find out later at home. If they are to charge an exorbitant amount of money for service then they have to step up the game and do better quality. I would not recommend ti anyone. I do like Firestone as a whole but stay away from this location!!!! read more

I have been at this location before with no problems lately this shop isn't being run by professionals but inexperienced people. So I dropped off a car at 2pm for an alignment, brake and coolant flush. I was called at 5:50pm that they lacked the VW connection to do the coolant flush and because the tech's don't share or have common parts they couldn't do the service. Absurd waste of time to bring a car that can't be serviced due to a part that should have been at the shop. VWs are all around us, how come you don't have the part!! Crazy excuse. P.S. The alignment doesn't include a camber alignment, of the 3 alignment types or parts (camber, caster, toe). Kind of misleading since the dealer does all 3. P. S. There is an auto part store within a 5 min walk. read more

Will charge you the same price as the dealer for far inferior service that takes twice as long. Sounds like a poor business model to me.

I have a 2018 Hyundai Sonata Turbo with all of 14,000 miles on it. I took it to Fairfax Hyundai to have the wheels aligned. After I had them aligned, I found our it was bought out be Safford-Brawn. I had been happy with the work. This time it was unsatisfactorym to say teh lease. They unaligned the wheels. I drove right back to have them do the work right. They made it a little better, but it was still wrong. I went to my bank and got me money back (credit card). I called a sjop in Manassas that got 5 start ratings. They did not do wheel alignment but they recommended this Firestone, Normally, I don't go to the ig chains bu I did this time. They did a wonderful job and checked out the car inlucing the battery. I used to bring all five of our cars here, nowhere else. The new management is an absolute joke, stay far far away from this place. I wouldn't bring a bicycle to them to fix. Appointments are optional for them, they may honor it they may not. They did not honor ours the last three times, car sat there all day, nothing was done and no phone call. This place should be closed down, I highly do not recommend this place. Read other reviews to avoid this place. I just assumed it's a simple task how could it go wrong. My mistake for giving this place a chance. I ordered 4 tires that stated were in stock, then made an appointment at 9am later in the week. I dropped off my vehicle at 8:50am and asked when my vehicle should be ready, they stated afternoon. I called at 5pm to ask why I didn't receive a call about my vehicle being done. Employee stated I was the next car to go up and be serviced. He wanted to give a complimentary oil change if I came back at 10am the next day to pick up my vehicle, I denied it and demanded to have my vehicle back, only then he stated it would be done at 7pm. At 6:22pm my app alerted me that my vehicle was being moved and doors were open. The shop closes at 7pm, I arrived at 6:55pm only to see employees not working on my vehicle. I had to wait for another 35 mins for them to complete one tire, that was on the ground with the new tire already on the rim. Horrible customer service, they stated vendor had to bring tires because they didn't have it in stock. Why they didn't call me to advise, because they don't care. It took over 10 hours for this to get done. I could have bought this somewhere else and saved over $200 and had better customer service. read more

Spread the Word Back in July 2023, I scheduled brake m for a 2020 Nissan Altima. I was charged for premium brake pads the tune of 634 only to discover in November 2023 that my pads and rotors were never changed with new pads and rotors. The inspectors informed me that not only it appeared they never changed them out but my tires were 2 out of my 4 tires were different brands. Luckily...this vehicle is soley for work purposes but this could have been extremly costly for someone under different circumstances but I will be weighing legal options. I normally take my car to the dealer first service, but I was making a long road trip to Florida so I took it to Firestone. I had 2000 miles left to go for my next oil change and the oil light came on. I thought it was odd they charged me half price because they took so long. I took my vehicle to the dealer apparently Firestone either stripped my cap or lost it and replaced it with a generic cap that was a tad too small causing my vehicle to leak oil. This could have caused some serious damage to my engine. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I called them and they were trying to give me a serious BS story and they were also supposed to use full synthetic and didn't!!!! read more

I called in an emergency. My parents positive battery terminal ​rusted out. I already have the part. The bolt holding it on is stuck and I can't remove it. I'm totally willing to pay the labor costs. They told me they would do it but they wouldn't use my part I had to purchase theirs. This is for an elderly couples vehicle to keep them from being stranded. Even in an emergency they are worried about the money. I didn't want it installed for free. I just wanted to use the part I had already purchased. Shame on you. A big name business that claims to be here for the neighborhood but won't help out someone and desperate need so you can make 15 or 20 extra dollars on a part. read more

After a "discount" paid nearly $1K for a coolant system flush and thermostat replacement. Just two days later, still had leaking coolant and a different, rude set of employees basically saying "bring it in another day because we won't get to it" Overpriced and incompetent. On a recent Sunday morning, my "low tire pressure" light came on. Concerned that I might end up with a flat tire. I drove to Firestone Complete Auto Care on Nokesville Road in Manassas. My car was taken back immediately for service. It turns out, all four tires had low pressure, so they added air and I was only charged $9.99 for a "courtesy check." (If I had needed a tire repair, it would have cost $29.99.) Excellent service. Highly recommend! read more

Rip off or incompetent? Had a 2006 Honda Pilot towed to this location on Nov 20th through AAA. Their analysis: new engine? Total cost $24k! Cheaper if a used engine is installed. Right... Here's the kicker, they said if the cost repair is too much, we can sign over the title, they will take care of it as a savage vehicle. Nah. Had it towed to Piedmont Tire and Auto in Gainesville. Had new ac compressor, battery, tensioner and pulley w/belt replaced as they recommended. Done in 3 days, vehicle fully functional! Have original work order from Firestone and Piedmont but could not attach to photos. read more

I went in for an engine misfire and was told I needed a new coil, spark plugs and a coolant flush? which has nothing to do with my fuel system. I put in bad gas from a station and didn't know it. I was told everything almost $1300 and I said ok. I'm presently back at Firestone on the same day and check engine light, seat belt light and traction control light are now on and now it won't go past 15mph. Technician says it's a minor hiccup but I'm not as experienced as other technician. So, just try it and see if it works. WTH. Needless it will stay here overnight and I will be back tomorrow for whatever excuse and refund I will be asking for. Do not ever waste your $ or time coming here. You will get overcharged and completely lied too read more

I took my car for battery terminal repair. A very simple fix, take the old terminal out and put a new one in. Tony called me to let me know that the wrong part was delivered and that I could either leave the car over night or let one of the mechanics fix the terminal. I agreed. I picked up the car and Tony assured me they fixed the problem. I had to jump start the car twice since. But, because it was just too hot, I did not bother to a look at what they had fixed. Tonight, I went out to take the battery out thinking I need to return it for another, since it is still under warranty, only to find out that Tony had lied and they did not even touch the problem. They tightened the old terminal and never thought I would find out. This makes me very angry. They think they are smarter and can say or do anything and people would believe them. This is a classic story where good honest mechanics are scares. Never trust those guys, make sure they did what they said they fixed before you drive away. I would have grade them less than one star if there is such grade provided. read more

I came here just to get 4 new tires for my car. when I got here, I saw them pop my hood which is store policy but then I saw mechanics looking into my radiator. I wasn't sure why. the entire process felt off since I just came for tires. 4 days and only 2 drives with my car later, I start leaking coolant and they find "oil" in my radiator. my car has never overheated and never had issues. I call them back and ask for a full inspection bc they were the last ones to have their hands on my car. they diagnose the problem but explain I'll need a new part. I said okay and asked them to order it from the dealership. I call them a few days after to ask for the status of the part. they said they ordered it and would ask the dealership for an eta. I asked for the name of the specific dealership and called myself. The dealership confirmed that they never actually placed the order and told them that the part was no longer made or sold. I called the Firestone back and asked for a manager. the manager finally confessed to having never ordered it but continued changing his story. he said that dealership said they could call corporate in Korea to see if they could get a part but the dealership told me they never said that and that they advised Firestone that their only option was to find an after market version at auto one. I have my car here and have asked them to flush the system so I can leave. something isup with this place. they keep lying to me and making stuff up. it isn't until I push back that they start sort of telling the truth. I've called corporate for Firestone to open an investigation. I also asked them for recordings of the work they do on the service floor and they said they don't have that which is odd. they claim they did nothing wrong but were too eager to resolve this problem when I pointed it out to them and they lied about having ordered that part when they never did. Do not go to this location. Go to a local mechanic or the dealership. read more

My car had a electronic brake system warning going off, I made an appointment that night for next day service and tommy gives me a call explaining everything that'll be done to the car and asking what's all been done to the car making sure everything was taken care of professionally and I felt that I was taken care of here.
