Very Disappointed... I went in for and oil change (which i've been doing for well over 8 years at this location).. I thought i could trust them. I serviced my other car. I recently purchased a new to me car (39,000 miles on it) -- and needed my first oil change. Tried the dealership and they didn't have an opening for a few weeks and i wanted it done now, so i booked an appointment online for the next day at Firestone. Dropped off the car like normal, first thing in the morning, and they call when ready to pickup (i work close to the location so very convenient for me. I also paid for the service to rotate tires and inspection. A hour or so later i receive a call telling me i need 5 or 6 things done (break fluid flush, tires, cabin air filter, etc) -- i was immediately taken back as i just had this car for 5,000 miles and they put on new tires, and certified pre-owned (i have a warranty for another 120k miles)... I told the gentleman that i shouldn't need any other service other than my first oil change, if i can get the report of the inspection and estimate of the services deemed i needed, i will bring that to the dealership as they should have had this done already. They said they would and then i got a call that my car was ready. The report only had Tires are needed (and the tires are brand new)... so when i brought the report over and asked for an explanation, also why the services aren't listed. He said, the computer automatically output recommendations based on milage. Well i didn't pay for "recommendations" from a milage chart, i paid for an inspection. So why the call and upsell?? I guess if i hadn't just purchased the car, i may have fell victim to trusting the professionals.. though in my estimation, i got charge for services i didn't receive. Very concerning and unprofessional, will be hard pressed to trust anything they tell me. read more

The staff were great! I was in the middle of commuting from New York to Boston and my splash shield became detached and needed to be fixed in order to drive the rest of the way home. My car needed an oil and tire rotation. I called yesterday and asked if I could make an appointment to get the services done to my car. He told me to just drop my car off in the morning and he would take care of it. I let this man know I needed my car by 4 pm he said that won't be a problem. Here we are at 3 pm they have had my car since 8 am and I was told it definitely won't be ready by 4. First time ever trying this Firestone location. Total shit show. Arrived at 730AM on a Saturday. Was greeted by someone who couldn't look me in the eye when he greeted me. Asked for an oil change. Was immediately told that "it's gonna be a long time, we only have three techs on today" very cold interaction. "Better be ready to leave the car for awhile" won't ever be back. These guys are great! Our service advisor Venroy was very knowledgeable and very thorough. At no time did he try to sell me anything that wasn't needed, nor recommended, which is very rare when going to auto repair shops. I made an app to have my AC system looked at. I dropped my car off , planned for a time to pick it up. It was a Saturday, they said I had til 7pm to pick it up, when they called me with the diagnostic report and an estimate of $1300. I then found out they close at 6 instead so I had to pick it up the next morning. I go there to pick up my car. I was told when I pick up my car we would plan for a time to come back for repairs. I go to pick up my car, they attempt to charge me $1800, while only a diagnostic has been done; and attempting to claim the work had been done when I never agreed to it , and they told me they had to order the part anyways. He ends up calling the guy who worked on my car who said they didn't do any work. Frontdesk said ok just the diagnostic for $110 and after asking about planning to have work done, he said they would call me. They never did. I go out to my car and it was left unlocked overnight in Manchester. read more

Upon calling to inquire about new body damage done by an employee, was told to go fuck myself by the shop manager after insisting my door was dented. Corporate office was very helpful with sorting out the fiasco but it shouldn't of happened in the first place let alone need to be readdressed. Im applauded that a manager would have the nerve and audacity to speak to a customer like that, after several thousand dollars of work was done. Im also highly concerned about what kind of workplace environment this manager is creating for people who are likely entering the field. read more

First off, they cannot call themselves "complete auto care" if they don't do everything automotive. My car's air conditioning will not turn on. I had another mechanic look at it and he replaced the components that would typically be the problem but nothing worked. So I decided to bring it to Firestone. They refused to look at it because I had already changed the parts that they would have changed and as he said " at this point it would be too much of a headache for us to figure out. I wish my other front desk guy had told you that we really don't do electrical diagnostics. So at this point I'm going to say take it to the dealer. Sorry man". So if you need expertise of any kind, don't waste your time with Firestone. read more

After getting stuck on I84 on my way to Boston, the AAA toll truck driver recommended to bring my car here to checkout the transmission. After waiting about an hour, their mechanics were unable to determine what the problem was and suggested bringing the car to a Nissan service station about 1/4 mile away. As boring as this review may sound, I can say that I had a great experience during my short stay at this Firestone location for the reasons: * It is one of the cleanest stations * Customer service reps were very welcoming, friendly and attentive * Their mechanics were honest that they were unable to determine the cause of my car's transmission problem * No charge for their diagnose service I hope to never get stranded on the I84 highway but if it happens again, I'd would consider my car being serviced at this Firestone station. read more

Nick from fire stone saved my life tonight. I had The worst day ever trying to get my tire off that was flat because my lug not Key was all worn out and I went to four different places then town fair tire said they would stay open for me and wait but I got there and they closed on me and I was crying but Nick at fire stone stayed open later and worked a miracle on my car I am so thankful please if you have any issues go here 10 out of 10 would recommend extremely fast service and very fair prices. Cheaper than the offer I had at Town Fair. I am so thankful for the kind workers there they really saved me I am going to tell all my UConn friends to go there if they have any problems. I have been a customer of this store for many years and usually receive great service. I brought my car in as the tires I had purchased a year ago were getting louder by the day. After they checked to make sure my suspension and alignment were good they said the tires were "Cupping" and that Firestone had fazed out this particular tire. I told them I wanted a better tire. They were close to quitting time but Cody Owens wanted to make sure I had the tires I wanted and even had to have another Tech drive to another store to get two more tires as he only had two in stock. Scheduled an oil change appointment through the app. Got an email later that day that my appointment was cancelled. Called the store and was told the app doesn't have access to their schedule. Scheduled an appointment for another day with the person who answered the phone. Showed up for that appointment and was told there was no appointment in their system. I had an oil change and the tires rotated at Firestone. After the oil change I noticed that my car was leaking oil. I went to my independent garage who told me the oil change was done incorrectly, the drain plug was leaking and they added 3 quarts of oil. I called Firestone and spoke to a manager John Fenwick who said that mistakes happen. They had also suggested some work to be done at the oil change appointment and my independent garage said it's not necessary. I won't be returning to Firestone and have filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Protection. read more

I've been a customer for over a decade . My son used to be employed in Firestone management. On my recent visit for oil alignment etc and tire rotation they legitimately found my belt tensioner was loose. They fixed it but charged me 38 bucks. I should have looked at it first . The 3 bolts were right on top , easily accessible, and could not have taken 5 minute to do. They charged me 38 bucks . Total rip off. When I inquired about it they said they used the "book". Unlikely the book would break down that work to tighten bolts as part of a belt or tensioner replacement. I'm tied to Firestone as that's where my tires were bought and my lifetime alignment. It's unlikely I'll have much other work done there from now on read more

I took my car here because the Honda dealership was booked up and really needed an oil change for a trip that weekend. I waited along time for my car to be finished I was facing the window and saw whoever drove my car into the parking lot reversed it like he was on a race track. He called me over and told me they had broken my phone stand which wasn't a big deal at the time. The next morning before I entered the highway I heard a Big Bang so I pulled over the shield at the bottom had fallen off so I called the store and his words were "oh it's nothing it's just a plastic thing under the car you'll be fine" after I told him I won't be fine and I will not be driving on the highway like that he continued to say it's not a big deal people usually take it off anyway we don't like those things but take it back we will put it back on. My husband came to get the car and he looked underneath on my car it's metal and very heavy they didn't screw it back properly my husband took it to the shop and their way of correcting the problem was to use zip ties and cal it a day I have learnt my lesson and will never trust them with my car I have to now find time to take it to Honda so they may fix it. read more

Rolled in purely by chance, had epic failure traveling far from home in my 2002 Yukon. I knew exactly what was wrong with truck. Firestone in Manchester is ASE certified, extended professional courtesy, and had repair done that held together, and gets along with area businesses. They are professional, timely, and know how to run a shop. We all have had poor experiences at these kind of shops, Firestone in Manchester will change that for the good, and they care enough to be ASE certified(continual education). After having bought tires at this store in December of 2016, and having had taken advantage of their offer of free rotations for three years, suddenly, what I got was two men bullying me about a tire repair and rotation, and claiming that I had not bought the tires there, and would have to give them almost fifty dollars to get my car keys back. Letter to Bridgestone Americas will be in the mail tomorrow. Manager, please retrain your customer service personnel. But that shouldn't matter to me since I won't be back. I've had some great experiences at Firestone and some experiences that leave me feeling like I'll never be back. I'll start by saying that they are extremely convenient- great hours including Sunday and can always get me in the day of. I've had great customer service when I've gone in for routine service. The work always seems to get done in a timely manner. My bad experiences seem to revolve around my tires. Most recently, I had a routine oil change and tire rotation. I gave the technician my wheel lock key. When I picked my car up I don't remember getting the key back, but at the time didn't think twice about it. Less than a month later I got a flat tire. When I went to put on my spare I couldn't find the wheel lock anywhere. I haven't thought about the key since that tire rotation and there is absolutely no reason I would have taken it out of my car- I always pop it right into my glovebox. When I called Firestone they said that they had a box of wheel locks that they forgot to give back that I could come pick up and try. In the meantime, I was stranded on the side of the road waiting for a ride. After trips back and forth, none of the keys matched and they told me they'd check the technicians toolbox who performed my tire rotation when he was in the next day since his toolbox was locked. I had to ask my ride to drive me around for 3 hours as we tried different ways to get it off without the key. I was about to order (and pay for) a tow when we finally found a way to wrench the lock off. With the spare on, I went to Firestone two days after the flat to get new tires put on. As I was setting up this appointment and dropping the car off we talked about the wheel lock and how it was a mystery where it went- it was the same person at the front desk throughout the whole experience. I made the assumption that since we were talking about it and he didn't say anything about finding the key that he had looked in the technician's toolbox and not found it. As I was picking my car up I thought I would just double check, so I asked if he had checked the toolbox. He said he would go do it right then...so, I was potentially getting my car towed, having them take off all my wheel locks, driving around for hours trying to figure this out, and he hadn't even checked in the toolbox. When he checked he found another wheel lock key to add to their box of forgotten ones, but it wasn't mine. Still, it didn't make me feel secure in the fact that there was no way mine got misplaced there. Especially after I cleaned and vacuumed every nook and cranny of my car and found no wheel lock. That was settled, I had my new tires, and I took my car out to run errands the next day. Within 20 minutes one of my new tires started leaking air. I quickly drove to Firestone which I happened to be nearby and by the time I got there it was totally flat. They took it in to look at it and soon came out to tell me it was all set. I asked what was wrong with the day old tire and they said it was just leaking around the bead, meaning it wasn't sealed properly the day before. They redid the seal and put air in the tire. The man at the front desk who I'd been dealing with for 5 days now didn't apologize for the inconvenience once. All in all I lost days over a flat tire. Luckily I'm a teacher on summer vacation who lives close to the nearest Firestone location and could afford the time and inconvenience. Luckily I hadn't left with a leaking tire or no wheel lock for the road trip that I am taking my car on in two days. I would have been fine saying these things happen, but I would have appreciated a little responsibility on Firestone's part or a quick apology- or even simple recognition that these little mistakes can really leave you in a tough spot! read more

They did a timely, professional job (new tires and alignment on my Chevy Tahoe). They had the correct tire stocked when Firestone's web app incorrectly spec'd the wrong size tire for my Tahoe. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work performed and the price paid. Thanks, guys! read more

Don't not trust this place your, you will be over charged, double charged and still leave with more stuff to fix when walked into their door, Management is let latterly crap, they don't admit their mistakes and will talk down to you when your not happy with they're crappy work. A piece of advice, if you get your car fixed there, take it to another place and double check their work, you will understand what I meant then. Brought my car in for an alignment and balancing prior to a long road trip. For over 700 miles it became very clear that the alignment and balancing were worse off than before I had brought my car in. When I went to get it fixed, they first tried to charge me for another balancing (which is heavily overpriced to start). After getting them to say they would do it again for free, I took my car in. In an attempt to prove me wrong, they took an unauthorized trip off property with my car. When I called them out about it, they said they were testing the rework, which was bs because they hadn't done any work yet. As it stands, I will probably never be taking my car here again (which is unfortunate because I have a life time alignment policy with them). If my car comes back with any problems again, I will definitely not be going there again. read more

Went there today to have a tire checked for a slow leak... They quoted $24++ so I went to a competitor and they did a great job for $4.20!!!

Wish i could do half a star or lower, Multiple Problems with these guys, First went to them for a problem with my brakes, Not only were they very rude but they quoted me about $2000 for the job, I figured something so serious i would have a second opinion taken on it and shop around before dropping that kind of money. Not only did two other garages tell me that they were full of crap when i showed them what they told me was wrong, but that even if that what was wrong with my car it wouldnt of been more than 600 dollars to fix. Then about 4 months later, needed an oil change and i figured they couldnt mess up something so simple, Wrong. They told me that the oil change comes with a courtesy check of all my fluids and would top off what was needed, or tell me about it if it was something that wasn't included. 2 days later pop the hood and all my fluid level they "checked" were never even touched. So if you want shitty service and not get what you pay for these are your guys, if you want good service avoid them at all costs read more
