I used the component online to notify the store that I was en route and as soon as I parked I was greeted in the parking lot and my service was started. I got a new set of tire and they were installed within 30 minutes. I set my appointment for 5pm and arrived early and was finished by my appointment time. I was able to purchase my tires online and know if they were in stock at the store. This was my first visit and I will be returning for future visits. Wifi and water was also available also with A/C especially during the hotter months. I purchased a full set of Yamaha tires for under $600. read more

I ordered 4 tires online and scheduled an appointment for 3 days later. I received several texts leading up to the appointment to confirm my appointment date/time. It wasn't until showing up for my appointment and waiting in line for 20 minutes to check in that they realized my tires weren't even there and we'd have to come back another day. If you had my appointment and order in the system, I should have been contacted BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT letting me know my tires weren't there so I didn't waste an hour of my morning, drive on a donut unnecessarily, and structure my morning around this appointment. It's currently 50 minutes from the time my appointment started and my car isn't even in the bay yet. This was my first time at Discount Tire. I'm from NJ and we don't have any DT near us. After visiting relatives in VA, unfortunately we picked up a puncture from a industrial screw on Powhite. We were able to schedule an appointment to have the tires checked and the team at DT were truly professionals. They had us patched up in about 30 mins. The best part... Discount Tire offers FREE tire repairs to the community. Super awesome. The team was friendly and courteous the entire process. Text updates were great and would love to have DT up north if possible. I ordered tires and scheduled installation online. Got a good deal and the ordering was pretty easy. I came to my appointment, there was a sandwich board with my name at the first bay. I was able to pull right in and after verifying everything,they immediately started working on my installation. These guys were great! They were so efficient and cohesive, I don't know that I've ever seen such excellent teamwork in an auto shop. I have been a customer for years. I dropped off my car at 2pm Saturday and was notified around 3:30 they stripped the lug nuts on a wheel and it needed to be sent to a mechanic. The mechanic was closed until Monday and my car was unsafe to drive. I was promised Monday morning they would personally get my vehicle to said mechanic at 8am. I call mechanic at 10am expecting an update and he has never been notified and he's full today. I was offered a rental car at 11am on Monday; too little too late. My car is eventually made available to me 3pm Tuesday. I was offered $80 refund on $720 worth of work. Unacceptable. read more

Excellent place to get tires. Friendly! IT IS fast and inexpensive. The off brand tires are usually better than the name brand, since you are paying for advertising in the name brand tires. Actually, your Family is safer in the tires they carry. Yet they do have Michelin's in stock. Great place to go for tires. That is what they specialize in. Phenomenal service!! My dad recommended Discount Tire with a glowing review so I decided to check it out since all 4 tires were in rough shape. As soon as I stepped out of my car I was immediately greeted by Jeremy who was very polite in asking what I was looking for. He did a quick sweep of my car and showed me how bad my tires had actually gotten. We immediately went over to the computer and I was shown a few options based on my driving needs. I had no idea that my tires would be completed today!! All 4! In 20mins! Needless to say I was going to go to the dealership for my car and with the prices, was only going to be able to afford bottom of the barrel tires, but here I got great quality for almost $200 less. I narrowed it down to either getting Michelin's are Cooper tires and down to four models. The Sales Associate Rudy was very knowledgeable and made selecting the right tire for me easy. When I arrived this morning, I saw that you can check in online and track the status of your car! While you have the ability to self serve in some ways, there was an awesome team of friendly people working there. They under promised and over delivered with the timing and truly could not have been more friendly. I asked them how to pay when they pulled my car up. The response was, "It's free!" Top notch service since the time I pulled up until the time I left... My mustang gt requires larger rear width tires than the front... Honest mistake but as one of the workers put a rear tire on the front. Which with the added rim and tire width may have damage my front spoiler. Next is why I go to places like this. Employee Irie ... was on top of things he quickly noticed the error and himself personally corrected the problem in order to avoid damage to my vehicle... They lie to you to get you to buy a tire!!! Will never go back. I had a nail in tire to be fixed and the guy told me, oh your tires are aging!!! Wanted me to buy 4 tires and when I told him no. He tried to sell me one tire. I told him no. Don't have money. Another thing is they always pull the spare tire out and he told me the the spare had never been used but needed to be replaced!!! For what??? The age of tire!!! Also they left the my tire tools in trunk instead of putting them in tire compartment!!! read more

I started the day with a flat tire due to a nail. Ended up at Virginia Tire and Auto where they told me it would be $30 to repair and if it couldnt be fixed they would charge an additional $10 just to put the spare on. Filled up with air from wawa (didnt even want to use VA tire and autos free air) and booked it to Discount Tire and Auto! The manager there took my car in even though it was 6 pm already and technically closing time. And he reassured me that my tire could still be fixed since it didnt have obvious signs of interior tire wear. And if it couldnt then they would happily put on my spare tire for me. Luckily they got it fixed and rebalanced the tires for the sweet sweet price of FREE. The last time I was here was in January where I got another nail repaired again for FREE and they were able to pull up my information right away. Polite and took the time to explain my worries away. Will be coming here the next time I need tires simply for the service! read more
