I went in to get an alignment for my truck, they told me that they "couldn't do my alignment because I needed new bearings" funny enough I just replaced my bearings on my truck so they were just trying to get more money out of me. I definitely do not recommend this store. read more

I was told on the phone prior to scheduling an appt the cost for replacing my front brakes & rotors, but then after my car was there and they checked it to be sure it was needed they told me a price that was $100 more for the same work. I was told in total it should take a couple hours to get the job done. My car was there for 8 hrs and then they said they tried calling me earlier, but I didn't answer. They didn't call me to let me know when it was done, but had no problem calling with the price earlier. I understand they could have accidentally dialed the wrong number, but wouldn't you try calling again to try to let me know it was done? I had no missed calls. read more

Very disappointed in or latest visit! Sent my 17 year old daughter to have and oil change and tire rotation. Took four hours. Then they recommended $2100 worth of service needing performed. I took vehicle home and purchased brakes and rotors to do myself and when I started working in them the brakes were in great shape and don't need replaced at all. The also said we needed new air filter so I purchased on to replace myself, only to find out that it didn't need replaced either. They clearly were trying to take advantage of us. Have used them for years, we will not be returning!! Please don't send your wife or kids to have service done here they will up sell them for work that doesn't need performed. read more

When we came in with a flat tire they called our current tires "WalMart" tires and generally had a combative attitude while we were there. If we had any other option we would have gone elsewhere, and got out of there as soon as we could. 2 stars for actually installing the new tire well but awful customer service. read more

I am so thankful for the crew at Firestone and Austin answering the phone - I had discovered something sticking out of my tire at lunch time called and was told to bring my vehicle right in.... Great place....if you want them to do absolutely nothing for your car...because doesn't everyone love taking their car into a shop just to have to take it to another shop to actually get it fixed? About a month ago, this Firestone was running a special where they would do a full diagnostic of your car for $10. We drive a ton at my household, so we thought it wouldn't be a bad idea before we drive for the holidays. Well...we get it back, a day later (from a rude and standoffish employee I might add) and the only thing they found was that the sway bar links need to be replaced soon. Great! Annoying that that needs to be fixed, but all and all, one thing, it's doable. Well the next day, I get in the car, and what do you know, the battery is dead...seems a little odd when we asked Firestone if they checked it and they said, yup. Battery is good to go too. Well we jumped the car is made it over to Autozone, and after checking it, they said "yeah....this battery is 7 years old (we bought the car used recently and didn't know how old it was) and that it's obvious it was about to go. Okay. So there is number one. We then decide to take it to a family friend who is a mechanic and I have been going to for upwards of 20 years. (Needless to say, we trust him). Unfortunately we called us this week and told us....yeah......if I were you, I would honestly be looking at getting rid of the car and getting a new one.... The engine mounts were bad, all belts cracked, there was a transmission code and engine code going off, multiple oil leaks, and both rear tires were bald...but the thing Firestone said was wrong, wasn't a problem... So yeah...I know we only spent $10 for the diagnostic, but I'm pretty sure they didn't even bring the car into the garage.... After being out in the area for a bit, by word of mouth, everyone has told us to avoid this location. It is known that they try to scam people. If you don't care about your car, and want to spend some money to have it sit outside the shop, then by all means, this is the place for you! I would recommend you take your car elsewhere. I had a problem with my tire so I took it there for them to repair. They recommended I purchase a new tire so I did, but the problem persisted even after a new tire. The new tire was still leaking air so I took it to Tuffy where they showed me a fault in the tire causing it to not properly adhere and allowing air to leak I believe. They then replaced the tire for free which I appreciated, but I still had an ongoing issue with my tire leaking air. I then took it to Goodyear where they informed me that it was obvious they did not clean off the wheel before replacing the(second) new tire and there was also an old bead sealer on the tire which was also playing a role into the leakage. Overall very dissasitifed as they overcharged me for the singular tire with hidden fees. DO NOT take your vehicle here if you want it done correctly. read more

My car broke down on the highway on my way home from Columbus and I was towed to this Firestone location. The guy who was helping me looked like he was put-off that my car showed up there in the first place. He seemed more inclined to help people who were there for an oil change vs. helping someone out who was a victim of bad luck with no other place to go. I told him that I thought the battery needed to be replaced and he said he would take a look. After about 1.5 hours of waiting, he called me to the desk and told me he couldn't find anything wrong with the car, then proceeded to charge me $105 for the diagnostics test that came back inconclusive. I asked him why he ran the diagnostics as the check engine light was not on, he told me it was standard procedure. I told him he should have told me he was going to do that before doing it, I felt swindled. He then told me to go to a dealership that sold my make/model of car and that they should take a look at it. I asked him of any lodging nearby where I could stay since it was a Sunday and the service department at the dealership wasn't open that day. He said, "nope, good luck." and that was it. I was upset because I still had another 2 hours to drive and I didn't want to break down on the side of the road again. Luckily they must have charged the battery a little as I was able to make it home, albeit with white knuckles and heart palpitations the whole way home thinking my car would break down again. Bottom line, I paid $105 for a service that Auto Zone would have done for free, and the manager obviously could care less for my safety/well-being. I feel like if I was an owner of a car repair shop I would have at least offered a little empathy for someone who was in my situation. I took my car to my mechanic back home the next day and he said, "oh, you need a new battery." They changed the battery for less than the cost of the diagnostics at Firestone and my car has been running perfectly since. I don't know if all Firestones are run this way or just this one. All I know is that I do not plan on giving Firestone my business ever again because of this negative experience. read more
