I needed an alignment and my brakes were pulling. I have the lifetime alignment and normally I'm happy with Firestone. This place is a joke. I told them when I dropped the vehicle off that the whole front end was replaced 6 months ago. They called me an hour after drop off and said I needed $600 worth of front brake work done and $400 for new rear drums on both sides. I opted not and they said they would put the vehicle back together and have it ready in 20 mins. I asked about the alignment and they had forgotten about it, so he tacked on 20 more mins (40 mins total) and it would be ready. That must have been the fastest alignment ever because I could see my vehicle parked outside the building 20 mins later. I walked back to pick up the vehicle and when I arrived the person at the desk told me they would need to replace both calipers and the rotors were old so those needed to be replaced as well, along with new pads (even though they marked them as 8 out of 10). I asked what made them old since the whole front end had only been on maybe 6 months, and they replied they didnt know, maybe just the wear and tear from driving on them (when I got home and checked the rotors are worn evenly and aren't even rusty yet!). They also recommended a new fuel filter despite having no issues with it, and to top it all off they couldn't give me a print out of my alignment numbers because the printer happened to be down. If you're going to take your vehicle here I hope you know your stuff because I really feel like this place will try to take advantage of you, especially if you're a woman. read more

Normally I really like Firestone tire center vs. Les Schwab. This Olympia location off of Harrison was different. All I wanted was a single new tire on my car. I knew the size and location where it was to be mounted and I just needed them to pull the car in the garage and fix do the work. When I told the guy what I wanted he tried to sell me so much other crap I almost walked out and drove away. He asked if I wanted to open a Firestone credit account!!?? For a $60 tire??? "No thanks" I replied...then he further encouraged the financing plan and that I would have to pay anything for 90 days...OMG seriously...this guy was clueless. Then he wanted to perform a 200 point inspection on my car and I told him not to even open the hood...More specificaly I said...take off my hub cap, remove the 5 lug nuts and remove the old tire...then apply the new tire to the wheel, replace lug nuts and hub cap and then get me back in my car. Well he almost got it right as the tire was replaced in about 40 mins and I paid cash for my bill. Luckily I went to the passenger side to inspect their work as the hub cap was now missing. I returned to the counter and let him know that the cap was gone. He yelled to the guy that did the work and he scurried around and found it. He told me that they were having fun teasing the guy doing the labor and that he was distracted and just forgot to replace the cap....GEEEZ this makes me feel good...I double checked for all 5 lugs and tightness when I got home :( read more

They are dishonest and liers. We bought 4 new tires, they pushed HARD w/ my wife that battery needed replacing. Tried scare tactics. I had battery checked 2 places. It was in tip top shape. 2 months tire fails, take it in & they say have to buy new one, can't fix it, wouldn't honor warranty. Charged for new tire....oh and nowhere did they mention the battery that 2 months ago was going to leave my wife stranded in the dark, other than it checked fine. I went in to Firestone for an oil change. I did not have an appointment and they were really busy. They still got my car done in less then 30 minutes. They even told me about some service my car was due for and gave me an estimate. I will be going back there!!! read more

I took advantage of Firestone's Alignments for Life deal and have enjoyed their service ever since. They are never quick at this location, normally taking 2 hours for an alignment, but the work is well done and the customer service is always friendly. Better than some. read more

after giving me the run around for a month.They finally want to have some person look at my car.they knew i had to fix the oil problem since after i took it there it leaked badly.I could not wait any longer to get things they destroyed fixed so i took it back to the dealership i brought it at.they fixed the problems like oil pan were they failed to seal the plug and tighten the oil filter.attempt to get the extra oil work done ,discovered one spark plug channel had oil put into it making car misfire(did not idle rough or misfire trill after Firestone oil change,nothing wrong with brakes,which brings back to how could they check the brakes if the never removed the tire,the company never offered to return my money,mostly i got moved from person to person.this company is crooked in my opinion and just kept giving me the we are sorry here peak to this person who would send me to another person then another person read more

Terrible service took over 2 hours to repair a flat. Not very honest. Tried to con me into buying 4 new tires.

I got new tires put on at Firestone because they had a deal on the particular tires that I wanted. I paid for the service and everything was good. They tried to talk me into letting them replace my radiator for $400 because there was a crack in it. I ended up replacing it myself for under $100. All that is to be expected from any auto place, but then next time I went to remove my tire I found that the jokers had cross threaded one of my lug nuts. Their finding during their 'inspection' were pretty comical as well. Ranging from 'well no duh' to 'well that's actually completely wrong and a five year old could've made a more correct observation.' read more

Excellent service! To be honest, I was a little concerned after reading some of these reviews, but figured, hey they're in walking distance to work, and have a great special right now on brakes- so, I went for it! I was very pleasantly surprised! They were thorough, considerate, fast, and honest. The customer service was good, and although I am a female, they did NOT try to pull the wool over my eyes. They respected the fact that I went in there to have one service provided, and did not try to manipulate me into thinking my car is on its last leg, or speak to me like I am an idiot. I will definitely use them again- and I am a firm believer in giving your local businesses a second chance. Seems like the new staff has made all the difference! i went here and the westside les schwab for quotes for a new set of tires, this place was $3 less for similar tires, both with roadside asst. i was told they would match any price in town. costco and goodyear were much higher priced. ive had good work done here before. the only reason i would prefer les schwab is because you dont need to make an appt read more
