Watch out for this place. Had some Compact Disc (CDs) stolen from my truck while I was getting an oil change. I'm sitting in the waiting area while they are robbing me of 20 to 24 CDs. Called the manager and he was in a meeting and not available. Notified the police to get some advice on what to do. read more

Oil change today, but also asked for them to check tire pressure, as I thought two were very high. They said they always check and the receipt I got claimed all 4 were at 35. Nope. One is at 47 and another at 45. The others at 42. Doesn't build credibility with other services, if we can't get the simple stuff right. Disappointed. read more

1 Star! A few days after driving my car, it started making a weird rattling vibration sound, I opened the hood and one of the houses wasn't connected! I will never bring my car there again! It's like they had someone who just started who never worked on a VW before. That's fine, but geez, they obviously didn't know how to take off parts or put it back AND THIS WAS JUST AN OIL CHANGE! Let me first start by saying I am not a yelp complainer. Look at my other reviews. I mainly use this for humor and to celebrate great local businesses. Additionally, I have been a customer of this location for some time, and typically don't have issues. but the past few times (since all Mulinax services were consolidated across the street after all star sold) I have had less than great experiences - and more recently pretty bad ones. Also, for whatever it is worth Donnie has always seemed good to work with. But with that I will share my last experience here. I brought my car to the quick lane to have them check my bearings and brakes. I had heard a grinding or whooping noise that both got louder with acceleration, and could be heard better when turning right (meaning the left wheel would be facing the driver area). I very specifically asked them to check all my bearings and brakes. I was told my bearings were good and that I needed new brakes up front. Good to know I thought. On my drive home I still heard some sound, but sometimes with new rotors and pads there is some shaving and heating that happens and then they are good. Problematically, the sound did not go away. So, I had them check my bearings again. Again, explaining to them that the sound intensifies with speed and could be heard better when turning right. I was assured they had checked them again, and that I needed the right front bearing replaced. Good. Well literally as I was driving off the lot you could still hear the grind. At this point, I had spent nearly $1300 dollars and was no closer to the solution. I decided, rather than again take my car back. Again have to take a half day of leave to do so, and again to pay them to do work that is not even the work on what is broken, I would go somewhere else. I took the car to Les Schwab and the left front bearing, you know the one I mentioned would be facing me when turning right, was rusted and had some breaks. They replaced it. Noise gone. Car runs smooth. I am very frustrated still with my experience at the quick lane. It wasn't quick. Didn't address the problem, and cost me a good amount of cash for not addressing my initial concern. From now on for this type of work I will be going somewhere else - because the benefits speak for themselves. Sorry to say - I don't think I will be using Quick Lane anytime soon if I can at all help it. read more

Since they opened, they were my go to shop for everything. I've never taken my vehicle to another shop. Whatever changes they've made recently has really made myself and my adult daughter decide that things have gotten shady. A service writer went so far as to tell her that "she sounded full of shit" this week. I valued that this is one of a few shops where I could do in and tell them what I think is wrong and they didn't scoff at me because I'm female (Mullinax is like that, and I know they're a sister/parent company.) Donnie is amazing, but whatever has happened lately - you've lost two good customers. 3 stars instead of 1 because I'm leaving room for them to grow. Also - quoting someone $300-500 for a diagnostic that anywhere else charges less than $200 on? Sounds like a scam to me because you think my daughter is an idiot. read more

I went here to get an oil change, took about an hour and a half. That's too long for an oil change. I did their full service package which I had a coupon for from their website. When it was done, they broke a lug-nut from doing a tire rotation and was quoted around $800 to fix. So they broke something off my car and I have to pay for it? This was my third time here and it will most likely be my last time. Customer service was fair, environment felt like a "frat house" type environment. Employees can come off as know it all's. I don't understand why they have more front desk staff than technicians, it shouldn't take that much staff to help people. read more

I can pay $50+ for an Oil Change anywhere. I come here because it's less. Or at least it was. Between my two visits (last visit and today) they upped their price $10 to $52.95. Because I expected it to be $42.95 I didn't bother to print the $39.95 coupon before coming over just to save $3. But to save $13 I sure would have. Will they honor the coupon from your phone? No they will not. Could they have offered to print it, sure. Did they? No. What happened to taking care of the customer? I have been going to Quick Lane for quite some time. The last two visits they forgot to top off the fluids, but yet it was stated it was done on the invoice. This latest visit was a disappointment. Appointment was over, I go to my car and discover the tech did not reset the service message. The tech went out to the car...clearly he couldn't figure it out after a few minutes. I had already been there over an hour and a half. I said I would do it myself. I leave and then discover the sticker that tells me when I should come for next oil change was missing. The guys in the office are great.... Tech's not so much. Not sure I will return. read more

Best customer service around!! If I could give more stars I would. Brought my van in for 'the works' and they did a great job . They explained everything and didn't try to push needless repairs on me. Will definitely return. Highly recommend. Also brought my husband's car in for service and they went as far as to take pics of the work needed to show us instead of just assuming we're supposed to take their word for it, like so many other mechanics do. Also we were quoted one price and it actually came in a great deal less than original quote. They did all they could to keep costs down. A+++ service from beginning to end. read more

I bought my car from mullinax and they told me to use quick lane for oil changes. The first couple were free but the wait time was over an hour each time. And I paid about 80. Last few oil changes I went to jiffy lube and only paid 55, and wait time was less then thirty minutes. I went back to quick lane today and again was given a one hour wait time. I asked if I can get in line then go run errands for thirty minutes and the man working there say I would have to leave my keys with him the entire time I'm waiting in line. I'm just going to keep using jiffy lube in Lacey. They're dependable, cheaper, quicker, and if I had a one hour wait time I'm sure they'd allow me to go grocery shopping while I'm in line. read more

There is a reason I consistently drive 30 miles to this place. Other than its clean, quick and efficient, this place is staffed with honest to God good people. I am waiting for my oil change, and I just watched one of the representatives walk out to look at an older woman's car. When they came back in he explained what needed to be done, and then told her that they would do it in stages to make sure she could afford it. Just left after having my front blinker and back tail light replaced. I was quoted one hour labor to replace two 4$ bulbs. Fine I am ok with that because they explained it is very difficult to get to said bulbs. But when my car was returned after 22 minutes I was still charged an hours labor????? When I questioned Eric the service advisor he informed me I was paying for the mechanic expertise and not the time?!??!!! What???? Complete rip off cost 136$ for 8 worth of bulbs. Will never go back especially since the twenty two minutes I waited for my car I was treated to Donald another service advisor talking down to a trainee over operating the computer "are you stupid or just not paying attention?" among other put downs. We purchased a used vehicle that needed just a bit of suspension work (which Mullinax approved to repair at no cost). Richard and Josue (and the rest of the team) took care of us from start to finish. What really impressed us was that we had to take it back to Quick Lane because we still felt there was something a bit "off" with the four new end links that were installed. Got us in immediately and Josue didn't like the looks of how these end links were setting. Could have just said, "they're new, they're fine" but he felt the car wasn't accepting the brand (it was a high quality brand, not junk) that was installed. He even took us out to look at the end links to show us his concerns. So he immediately replaced the four with OEM parts and the car drove like a dream - no more sounds or suspension symptoms. Even though we were a type of "warranty work" on this new-to-us, used car we had just purchased from Mullinax Ford, Josue followed through and treated us with care and respect until he was certain our issue was solved and we were safely back on the road. This is the only place I bring my truck for regular maintenance. I have to say that I was stunned by the previous reviews about this car shop when I logged on just now to write my review. Because mine was a 5 ***** and then some kind of experience. I stopped by there around 8 am yesterday after my cigarette lighter (which i use to charge my Garmin and iPhone when traveling) konked out on my way to Seattle. I also had decided to get an oil change because I found a Service Due tab that morning with a Oil Change Date of 7-21-14 from the used car place I bought it at. And Josue, the gentleman who helped me there, was very pleasant and clear about the length of time it would take and why (1 hour). so Off my doggie and I went for a stroll around the neighborhood, which had plenty of greenery and even some other nice walkers who stopped to play with my dog. then When I returned Josue informed me about the work he had done (which included oil change, tire rotation, license plate bulb replacement, for which he only charged me for the oil change and cigarette lighter repair). and He gave me a list of future repairs that needed to be tended to, including a leak in the rear which was okay for now but needed to be fixed within a month's time. and part ii He said he would have suggested that I have it tended to there but since that would probably require me to stay overnight he suggested I find someone local in Seattle to make sure I had somewhere to stay if that repair did call for an overnight stay at a shop. That's when I knew for certain I had come to the right place. Because instead of making an extra $300-$400 dollars off of me, he suggested the most safe alternative for me by waiting until I was in Seattle so I could have a place to stay overnight (plus the free bulb replacement he did). so If you're in the Olympia area and need an auto repair place that you can trust because you know they care more about your safety than scoring more money off of your automobile needs, I'd suggest going here (it's right by the Ford dealership). Went to QuickLane on the Westside of Olympia as they were offering a rebate on tires, in Nov 2015. They said they would complete all of the necessary paperwork and I should get my rebate within about 5 weeks. It is now the middle of January 2016, and come to find out they have just submitted it. January 19th 2016. They could have told me the truth. But instead, chose to tell me that the check should be arriving soon... this was in December. Though I wonder how they could have thought that as they had not submitted any of the paperwork. I even asked for the information and I would submit the required information. From two different people. I believe that they think that since I am over 70 years of age that I would forget about it, or not follow through. Well my mind is sharp, and I find them very unprofessional to say the least. Quicklnae could have just told me the truth. It makes me wonder what other information has been distorted. Took the wife's vehicle in to have the oil changed and tires rotated. I Was the first customer of the day, they were finishing a staff meeting upon my arrival at 8:05am. The vehicle didn't get pulled in until 8:33am. They did the oil change, tire rotate and the multi point inspection and finished at 9:25am. I left and was on my way home (about 30 miles away) , I was nearly home and got a phone call from the writer, he told me they "forgot" to re-install my air filter after removing it to inspect it. He wanted me to drive back up there without the air filter in place so they could put in a new one no charge. I wasn't about to drive back another 30 miles without a air filter installed, so I got off the freeway, and bought one at autozone and installed it myself. He told me to swing by and they would still give me a new filter. I asked them to hold on to it I would be in when we returned from a trip. I returned back as I said I would a few days later. They didn't have the filter. They called the parts store and ordered another and asked me to come back again...I came back again 2 1/2 hours later....still no filter. He wanted me to pick it up at the parts store...Not happening! I go here because I used to work for the dealership that owns this shop. Not sure what's up but hopefully they will make it right. read more
