I've been going to Discount Tire for over 20 years, so I'm not just some random customer--I'm going to be honest and fair. This was my first day off in multiple weeks, and I scheduled this ahead of time. I called and explained my situation to Tom before coming in, but when I got there, he was on lunch, so I had to start all over and re-explain everything--which was frustrating right off the bat. Honestly, this was one of the most annoying experiences I've had--at least in the beginning. My interaction with Race Valentin didn't go well at first. There was a lot of back and forth, details getting mixed up (he even thought my car was a 2013 instead of a 2023), and I didn't feel like I was being heard. I was already short on time, and by that point I was close to tears. BUT--this is where they turned it around. They filled up my tires, completed the rotation (which is what I originally came in for), and then went above and beyond. They found that a previous mechanic had installed a cheap knockoff sensor. Instead of just telling me and sending me on my way, they replaced TWO sensors, fixed the issue, and even handled my windshield wiper--all at no cost to me. By the time I left, everything was working exactly how it should. So yes--rough start, but strong finish. If anything, communication upfront (especially at the management level) could really be improved. But they made it right, and that goes a long way. I even called back after I got home to let them know everything was working perfectly--because that part matters too. read more

I randomly went in one day after all this research and needed to make sure that I selected the perfect set and needed a professional opinion. Recently needed to re shoe my car they were able to order my tires for a good price and install them they were as fast as you would want .they can only go so fast .the thing they have no control of how many people just beat you to the punch.get in line! The only negative is. i have a set of rays on my supra. and when they took off the old weights. they left the sticky back on the rims. looked hideous took some elbow grease .but it comes off. would of been nice of em. considering I just put 1800 dollars of rubber on my car .other than that all is well so far. read more

They install wipers, tires and wheels, balance tires, and repair flats for free. The website says that they can revamp your damaged wheels as well! [Location]-- Located just off the highway across from the Lacey Regal theater. There are at least 6-8 chairs to sit in while waiting. The parking area isn't that big so sometimes it can get tight when things are busy. Not much else in the area aside from a buffet, Taco Bell, Burlington, and Coastals. [Experience]-- For 3/3 of the times I've visited, I've had a really great experience at this location compared to another location not too far away where I felt like a nuisance instead of a customer. Not only are the employees pleasant to deal with, but the work got done in under an hour. I had my tires replaced mainly, but I also had a wheel swapped out at a very good price. Everyone was helpful. I called on a Tuesday and made an apt for Thursday morning at 9:45am. I got there about 15 min early and they were packed. Definitely make an appt. I got checked in about 5 minutes, got a text with a link to follow my vehicle progress. EST finish time was 11:32. They had me out of there by like 10:45. Felt pretty bad for these guys, phones ringing off the hook, people coming in without appts being a-holes. Every single person who was working was kind and helpful. The kid who brought my car out gave me receipt which I was confused about because I hadn't paid yet. Come to find out I didn't owe anything! The fix flats or leaks for free. Totally didn't know that. Good: able to get tires ordered promptly and did receive a call when they came in though it did take a week for that. Bad: made an appointment and arrived at or slightly before that appointment slot. Stood at the counter 20+ mins between waiting in line, clerk taking a phone call then checking the computer regarding my order. As a senior I almost asked to take a seat while all that was prepared. Then waited almost a half hour before my car was even taken into a bay for work. My 3:00 appointment took until ~4:45 to be completed. read more

I made an appointment and purchased a couple of very expensive Pirelli tires. While they were pretty fast about putting them on my car, they did not inflate them to the proper pressure - they were 3 pounds over. They didn't provide me with a receipt, but I later found it in my email. The tires look messy and dirty. How about dressing the tires when you spend $600 a piece on them? Furthermore, they don't answer their telephone so when I called to clarify the replacement certificate, no one answered. I have to order these tires as they don't stock them so answering the phone would be useful. I might look around for someone else to service my tires in the future. read more

Destin is an amazing asset to this company!! I stopped by because my tire pressure light was on 5 minutes before closing, I felt horrible but I had no other choice. Destin came over to my car promptly and made me feel welcome despite the time. He was surprised at how low my pressure was and after filling my tire realized my valve stem was leaking a bunch of air. Any other place would tell me to come back tomorrow... this gentleman assured me it was an easy fix and directed me to park my car so he could get it taken care of.. mind you they were definitely closed by this point. He was fast, efficient, attentive, polite and overall seemed to really care about his job and profession. His work ethic amazed me and he restored my faith in going to places like this as a female it can be intimidating as I have no clue with cars. He was eager to help and ensure I have a safe drive home. He really cares about his customers even if it is right before closing! I haven't had a leak in that tire or any low pressure since being in and him taking care of it in less than 10 minutes. I called and explained what was going on, my husband is home on hospice and we live far away. Stopped by this Discount Tire location on my way from Portland to Seattle go to get the tires on my rental car inflated. The location is conveniently located by the freeway so I was able to get off and back the freeway quickly. And plus, when I came here, they had multiple signs telling you where to go for an air check. I spent probably three minutes here. Best of all, getting an air check/inflation is one of the free services offered by Discount Tire and probably one of the reasons that I always look for a Discount Tire location no matter where I go (I'm from Houston, TX by the way). Seriously, go to Discount Tire for your tires need. ANY discount tire location. Out of the many, many discount tire locations I have visited, I can say that only a couple was kind of disappointing and this was due mostly due to the wait time because it could get really frustrating. read more

I am a long time customer here. I originally bought two new tires back in january, for $139 total installed with warranty out the door. Went back in today to purchase the other two tires, wanted the same Tire I had on the back of the car, but they didn't have any in stock. One of the guys was nice enough to Discount a pair of the more expensive tires they had in stock instead to what I was told the price of the tires I bought in january. I was thinking I would be walking out the door for another $139, but instead, I got charged $274! Their prices have gone up since january, and I'm starting to feel like I was price gouged just because I'm a woman. Too late to do anything about it now, but I'm pretty irritated with the nearly 50% price jump. Once my current tires need to be replaced, sadly, I am going someplace else. read more

This is the second bad customer service issue my family has had with this location. On both occasions they stated they would call us once the tires arrived and both times they failed to do this. Both instances we confirmed they had the right phone number on file and yes they did. I spent $1000 on studded tires for my teenaged sons car on 12/7/22 and on 12/17/22 I stopped by the store to check on they status and found out the tires had been their since 12/9/22. After waiting in line for my turn and upon learning this , I asked why I was not called and the associate just stated well and walked off. Upon his return I asked the question again and the response this time was things happen and we get busy. My family and extended family have been coming to this location for many years and today will be the last visit as they won't get a third try to get it right. Going forward we will take our business to Les Schwab as I hear good thing about both their prices and incredible customer service!! After experiencing 5 (yes, FIVE) flat tires driving our new car home from the dealership, we were finally able to make it to Discount Tire.
