Went here once for an oil change. The past few times I have gone I walked out and went elsewhere. Had a nail in the middle of my tire. They said I'd need all new tires and tried selling me on new Firestone tires that were not comparable to the ones I have. Went across the street to Jensen and got it repaired in 15 minutes. Decided to give it another shot. Scheduled an oil change. Got there early to drop car off and have it done before I left for work 3 hours later. They said it would take well longer than 2 hours for an oil change. Never had issues with other firestones. This location seems like the odd ball. Will not return read more

I took my car here earlier this year for an oil change and thought I was satisfied with their service. My boyfriend just today took my car to get another oil change at another car service company. They came out and asked him, "Did Firestone do the last oil change?" He confirmed that they did, and they informed him that they had cross-threaded the oil cap after the oil change and basically forced it on (excuse me if I'm not explaining it correctly, I don't really understand car terms). Basically, they told us that the solutions would be to either replace a certain part every time we get an oil change ($60 extra dollars on top of the oil change) or replace the whole oil filter system together (close to $600). We're going to get a second opinion on it, but I'm very frustrated with Firestone. I went there because they had a cheap deal on an oil change, but now it's going to cost me much more in the end. read more

They got my car done in an hour and a half for an oil change. Whatever, could be faster but I'm just glad it got done before I was going to be late. I keep forgetting to review this place. As a caveat, I've never actually gotten my car fully serviced here before, but due to constant weather changes and atmospheric pressure, my tire pressure warning light goes on often. This place is just two blocks down from me, and I always take my car here when I need some air pumped into my tires. They have WONDERFUL customer service and they are quick and efficient. I'd definitely give them 0 stars if possible. The first time my wife took her truck in because there was a screw in the tire. After waiting 8 hours she gets a call to come pick it up.. fast forward a few days and her tire is flat again. We look at the tire, the screw is still in the tire..... so 8 hours of being in the shop and 20$ later, was she charged to just fill up the tire with air?? She took the truck back into the shop. They tried selling the crap out of her. Typical car place, especially when the customer is a woman. They tried telling her she had to buy all 4 new tires. Even though two of them are barely a year old, if that. I would never refer anyone here after this experience.. nor will we ever be bringing another vehicle here. read more

My brakes started screaming the week before Labor Day, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get in anywhere before the weekend, but they were able to get me in the very next day. Dropped it off at 3pm on Tuesday, got a call two hours later saying the work was done. While it was there, they took a look at everything else - turns out I had three nails in one of my tires, but they were able to get that taken care of, as well as a few other things. Ethan and the rest of the staff were super kind and helpful. They took the time to make me feel valued as an individual customer, and not someone to just get in and out. read more

I have to give it up for this Firestone. I've never felt pressured to buy other services, just gently reminded that things might need done in the future. Also, this summer. I had a really bad sound coming from my engine, and as I love downtown, this place is closest. I drove it in and they ran diagnostics on it for a few hours. They called me and told me it is likely a warranty claim w my engine and to take to a dealership. So I went to pick the car up and they did not charge me anything. This was so needed because I was through the roof stressed that something really expensive was looming in the future I'd my car. I got a call a little while later with an update and then an hour later they called and said my car was done. they had to go get my battery from somewhere else and then work on it. they made sure that it got done in one day. read more

Took my Van there for an oil change years ago ,I got 10 miles down the road to my cousin's place and it was leaking oil .My cousin's husband reached underneath and the oil filter came off in his hand. I had small children with me and we were in the country. When I called them, they didn't care and said I couldn't prove it was their fault. 1st time I took it there for an oil change, the kids stripped the oil plug and said he changed the oil. He for some reason tried to take oil pan bolts out and stripped them too. It was pried on and edges were bent. A week later, it started acting funny. No oil in it. He put the plug back in but not correctly. It was cross threaded. They said I couldnt prove it was their fault. No response from corp. It never did run right after that. read more

I've taken my car here twice. The first time it was because my car was overheating they ended up keeping it for three days to figure out why. Each day they told me to be done by the end of the day. On the third day I came in and it had still not been completed because the tool they needed had been locked inside someone's toolbox and they had called in sick that day. I just took my car and left and went somewhere else second time I went there at the flat tire they said they could get it in by two which was fine I left it there I didn't get it back till after 545. The service writer was about to charge me for a flat repair when I asked where the hole was in the tire or what the problem with the leak was. He checked and came back and said, "we're not charging for a flat repair. We actually didn't do a flat repair because we couldn't find a leak so we just filled up all your tires." The next day my tire is flat again. I took my car to the Firestone on 90th and they found a nail in the tire. I don't think they even looked for a leak this Firestone. And after reading several reviews appears the service I received here is pretty consistent with what others have experienced. read more

Go across the street to Jensen and save yourself $150. I went here because I got nail in the sidewall of my tire. I purchased a new tire and three weeks later I got a nail in the sidewall of the same tire. They would not prorate the cost of a new tire at all or give me any kind of deal because I didn't purchase their road hazard warranty. I went over to Jensen and asked them what would've happened if I purchased my tire from them. They said they would have been able to replace it with a new tire and charged me a minimum $25 proration fee, even without buying their road hazard warranty. They were also doing construction on their shop and my car and everyone else's cars outside were covered in dirt. After confronting them they offered to clean it. Five minutes later they gave me my keys back and I went outside to find my car not cleaned. The only thing they did was use my wipers and washer fluid to clean the windshield. read more

I read the reviews and decided what the heck and tried it anyway. Super convenient location for those of us who live downtown and are familiar with the one way streets in Omaha. The service writer greeted me as soon as entered the door. I needed my tire repaired and was concerned about being up sold and talked into buying a new tire. Not the case. The service writer inspected my tire in front of me, showed me the cause of the leak, was straight forward about the cost to repair and the time my tire would be ready for pickup. Customer Service was just as good as at my last Firestone Complete Care Shop. The waiting area was clean, they offered hot coffee, and had ample seating for those who wanted to wait. Overall I am very happy with my decision to visit this particular location. I had a $23.00 dollar repair and was treated like a king. read more

My car has let me know something is not right. I have a light on my dash alerting me my tires need attention. I was tickled to find this place close and open on a Sunday. I punch in the directions into my GPS and off I go. Easy to find and not busy, I am able to be seen right away. Travis was working the desk and he was friendly and didn't view me as an easy mark as I am a girl with long nails. ~LOL~ I explained what was going on and my theory for the alarm. Since it had been warm and then the temperature dropped drastically, I concluded the tires must have contracted and now I need air or worst case, I have a nail and need a new tire. Travis said no problem we ll be happy to take a look at no charge and would go over anything and everything if they discovered something which needed a charge. 10 minutes later they bring the car around. Yep, I was low on air. No charge and thank you for coming in today. I didn't feel they were talking down to me or I was a waste of time because I didn't generate revenue. Travis was friendly and made me feel he really wanted my business when I need an oil change in the future. I would take my car back since they are within walking distance to work. read more

Went for an oil change and asked to have a quart of Lucas oil treatment added along with the general oil change as I have a hi Mileage vehicle. Upon dropping it off I was assured it would be added. Upon calling the next day to see when my vehicle would be ready, I was told the treatment was added and that there was over 2000 dollars worth of repairs needed on the vehicle. I went in, talked with the mechanic, was satisfied with the information and confident in the diagnosis of the vehicle and asked if they added the Lucas oil treatment and was assured for the third time that it was added and as I entered my vehicle the bottle was sitting in my passenger seat untouched, un opened, and left out of the oil change but they charged me for adding it so I asked for a refund which they said they would do and now a week later I'm checking my bank account and they gave me what appears to be 2/3rds of the total amount I paid for the whole service. I came in and expected a long wait and way more money than I could afford. Steve at the front desk was polite and efficient. He called me to let me know that they would order in the parts needed. And surprise!!...I had my car back within a couple of hours!!. Being a female, sometime I feel talked down to at car shops- however I was treated with the utmost respect. I am completely happy with the service I got today. I recently moved to the Omaha area and work down at Creighton University. So with all this construction my rear passenger tire had a leak and I was planning to get it patched. I call down and he said to come bring it in and he would make sure it got done before they closed which was in about 2 hours. Get there and they're able to take it in the garage right away... Come to find out that I somehow got a splinter or something into the side of the tire... There was no way to pull it out so there was no way to stop the leak. So at this point my only options are to throw the spare on or put on a new tire. I get the new tire. They were able to get it done quick. This is by far the friendly service I have ever had getting service for my car. I will definitely be back with the Firestone company and especially at this location read more

I have been a customer of Firestone tires at 20th and Harney for 6 years, and my most recent visit is certainly my last visit - their Customer Service is HORRIBLE, and their service staff are DISRESPECTFUL. I had just purchased two sets of tires for my two vehicles, and returned for two oil changes in a row. The used a coupon for $25.00 for the first oil change, but had forgotten the coupon for the second oil change. I asked their rude service tech at the service desk if the coupon could be honored, he checked with the service manager behind a window, and told me absolutely not. The oil change would be $48.22 and no coupons are valid. On top of that, I asked if my Firestone charge card offers any incentives/discounts for the oil change. The answer was still "NO," and fee was still $48.22 for an oil change. I'd estimate that I have spent $4000.00 over the years, and my charge card could verify my loyalty to this store. Their service is HORRIBLE, and I will not return again. JENSEN TIRES directly across the street changed my vehicle's oil instantly, and their price was less than $25.00. read more

I get there at 440 pm and it's not done! The guy should have told me it "May or may not" be done! He didn't apologize at all and was telling me that's "not what I said!" Totally wasted my time when I had somewhere to be! and if I was going to have to wait longer he could have prepared me for this so I could make plans to wait there until it was done!
