First time visiting this Firestone location in Narcoosee Road. I was in need of oil change, I was 200 miles overdue. I called ahead to ask if they had any availability for walk ins. I asked how long it might take and they said 40minutes if I could come in in the next 15 minutes. I got there in 25 minutes and the wait time ended up being 1hour 35 minutes. They got the job done. The customer service was professional. Their lobby area is limited seating. I would recommend this place to others. The price for oil change was $112. read more

So I purchased my vehicle through Carvana and because it was a new to me but still use vehicle I did shell out for the car care package maintenance hence why I'm here. They gave me a lot of options of places to go, but this place is just the closest and most convenient location. I made a mistake and made the appointment for one but show up at 9 AM because I've made a previous appointment that I couldn't show for and just forgot and thought I made the same appointment time despite that they still saw me and took the car in. The process was seamless give my name, car keys, and various information for the vehicle and let them know I had the package. I was in and out in like 2 hours, which for an oil change tire rotation plus I was out of pocket when I came in without the correct appointment time and its right before a holiday, so kudos to them. they didn't try to sell me on stuff that I didn't need, I know my car (Blue Thunder) feels better for it. read more

ATTENTION EVERYONE ‼ Please be aware! I unfortunately went to Firestone for an oil change. It was near closing time around 6:30 PM where I brought my BMW for an oil Change. So I dropped the car off and I get a call five minutes later that there was an issue with the drain plug. Once I arrived. I noticed that the oil drain plug screw was spinning freely as it was stripped. So I asked the General manager how did this happen? He told me that the drain plug screw was previously stripped prior for it coming to the shop (which was clearly not because they would have noticed a leak from the plug and would have notified me in advance). So then I asked the mechanic that was doing the job what happened and he told me that once he initially cracked it loose that it free spinning after that which I have on video proof as well as my proof so in all out, I just find it unfortunate that the manager couldn't own up to their mistake And fix the situation. They recommended that I file a complaint and also that I have to drop the oil pan & replace the plug and pan. I went in for $120 oil change and left with A few $$$$ worth of damage. There was no prior oil leaks on the bottom of the motor from the drain plug area and now there's a puddle of oil in my driveway! Please be aware and do your research on these guys before you make the mistake that I did. Until this gets resolved, I will keep pushing on this situation. My review is based on repeated experiences showing that the employees here are unwilling to work up until their posted closing time. Although their hours are listed as Monday through Friday until 7 PM, we've scheduled multiple appointments around 5 PM that have consistently been canceled--often without any notice or phone call. It's extremely frustrating. I strongly recommend avoiding appointments between 3-7 PM, as there's a high chance they'll be rescheduled. I've had 3 cars serviced at this Firestone for a couple years now. Twice I've had to take vehicles back, but they fixed the problems and we were good to go. Another time they solved an oil leak mystery that 2 other shops couldn't figure out. A few weeks ago I hit a curb at the airport and had a completely flat tire. The Narcoosee Road Firestone was the closest location that had the tire I needed. It was right at closing time when AAA got my car there, and Chris Beiler took pity on me and stayed a half hour late to put a new tire on my car! That is the kind of customer service you rarely get anymore, and I am so grateful that I will drive the 36 miles from my home to get service there again. The guys that work are good people. My review is based on 1 thing. This weekend the Firestone website showed that Firestone was offering discounts based on how much the service cost. I only knew about because I was on their website. After I brought it up I received my discount. As I sat in the store for 2 hours not 1 time did the associates tell the customers about the discounts available to them. I find this shady and puts a good brand in the same league as shady shops that just want to fleece their customers. Not good at all . I bought two all-terrain tires for the front of my truck one month ago picked up a screw two or three weeks ago while out on the road so I plugged the tire till I could get back. I go in today and ask him if they could plug or patch the tire for me because I picked up another screw from the road and they told me because I did not have the proper warranty that they could not do anything at all with my tire. I made an appointment for 1:00pm for a simple oil change. I showed up at 12:45 and they had two bays open. Ethan enthusiastically checked me in and asked if I was waiting. I let him know I was waiting across the street getting linch and he confirmed my truck would be done in about an hour. I came back at 2:00 pm to check the status and was told that they had not even started on my vehicle as all the bays were full and they didn't know when they would be able to start. Very disappointing as I had budgeted my time and schedule. I left without any work being done and only received a soft "sorry man". I took my car in for them to run a diagnostic and figure out what happened to my car. The my diagnosed a burnt up fan. Paid to have that repaired. Got home and neither front turn signals works (they did when I dropped it off) Took it back in they repaired the turn signals. That same day went to pick up my kids from school and my car was almost redlining overheating. Never did BEFORE I took it in for them to repair. Didn't trust taking it back to original Firestone location so went to a different one (one I trusted but they didn't have availability at the time to fix my car) they were nice enough to tell me I should take it to a garage or dealer that could perform a block test. Did this and due to the first visit at Firestone being misdiagnosed I now have over $7k in damage. Filed a complaint and was promised a call within 48 hours reached back out to check on my status and was told that it was two business bay which ended yesterday still haven't gotten a call. I sit with children that have school and i have work but no vehicle. They need to pay to fix their mistake and get me a rental car while it is being repaired since I paid them to fix my car and it's in worse shape now then when I took it in to them! My first and last time I will ever use them. Had to get my oil changed, called and made my appt. 2 days in advance, drop my car off and walk to do some shopping. I get a call about 20 minutes later that my car can't be serviced as they never ordered the filter for my car. Next available spot is in another 2 days. So I get first appt, take my car in, get told an hour and a half. It took them 3 hours, watch 3 other people come in at the same time or after me leave at the 1 1/2 hour mark. Only good for oil changes and tire rotations. What you think will cost you 700 dollars in parts and labor will only cost you around 150 at a real mechanic's shop. If a real mechanic's shop is an hour away from your location... then go there, it will be worth it and you will also not have your vehicle misdiagnosed. The people are very respectful, just avoid it if you need more than just an oil change or rotated tires. read more

This place is very unreliable with appointments. I made an appointment for 9 o'clock the day prior. The appointment was to change brake fluid and bleed the brakes. When I made the appointment I specifically said that I go into work at 11 and I would have to be out of there by 10:30. They told me that there was no problem and to be there a little bit earlier and the job would get done on time. The next day a got there at 8:45. When I got there, the person behind the counter confirmed the appointment for 9 o'clock I again stated that I would have to be out of there at 10:30. He told me there would be no problem. At 9:30 seeing that my car was still parked, I spoke to the manager to remind him that I would need to be out of there by 10:30. Then the story changed and he told me that my appointment was for 11 and would not be able to finish the job before 10:30. I got my keys and drove away. After charging almost $800.00, they said that there is something else wrong that they can't fix and that I now need to take it to the dealer. Money and time wasted and all they have to say is sorry! Unfortunately, my daughter had the misfortune to use this center on January 27. Initially told it would be around $100 and left paying just under $600. Car has check engine light back on and we are having it brought to us to take to a competent mechanic to assess. We will be contacting corporate. Edited to add my correspondence with Firestone after they reached out on my original post and they STOPPED RESPONDING FEBRUARY 4 AFTER THEIR EMAIL ASSURED THAT THE FIRESTONE IN QUESTION WOULD CONTACT US WITHIN 48 HOURS - AND THEY HAVE NOT: My daughter had the misfortune of having an issue with her vehicle on January 27. She opted to take it to Firestone - 11966 Narcoosee Road, Orlando, FL 32827, Store #795074 after Autozone diagnosed it as a "3rd cylinder misfire and needed a wire set - error code P0303" and Firestone was exactly next door to this Autozone. She dropped her vehicle around 7:51am and was told it would be around $100. Some time later in the afternoon, she was called and told it would be around $600.00. My husband promptly called them back to discuss the estimate. The spark plugs (NGK Iridiums which were purchased at less than $10 each) that we had installed on this car were less than 15,000 miles and are much higher brand than what Firestone replaced them with (though what they charged was far higher than the best brand). Firestone recommended fuel service as well and was told to absolutely not do this service. Prior to my husband hanging up with them, the price was dropped to under $300.00. My daughter went to pick the vehicle up at 6:04 pm and was given a bill for $590.78, which is absolutely, positively absurd. I have attached the prices of the parts purchased NEXT DOOR from Autozone. My husband was a Commercial Manager for Autozone for over 7 years. The prices that I have attached are for "regular" purchasers. Commercial receives a huge discount. The markup on these parts that Firestone is doing is absolutely extortion. I will be amending every single review I have put out on social media with the pictures of both prices. The next day - January 28, her vehicle was doing the exact same thing. She is a 3rd year medical student that is expected to be in a hospital on rotations and could not bring her car back in. Also, we did not want her setting foot back into this place due to the charges given as well as the service given. Her engine light came back on last night (February 2) and she brought her car home to us to New Port Richey on February 3 where it was promptly brought to our local mechanic. No surprise - our mechanic gave the exact issue for the engine light - which Firestone did not fix. Wires were changed and the car now runs perfectly. Our local mechanic looked at the parts, as well as my husband - who has years of mechanical background, and could not see how the plugs were "fouled out". We had to pay to have the wires, which were diagnosed by Autozone on the 27th, fixed as Firestone could not properly fix the issue. Please read through reviews for this store. It is absolutely, positively shameful that a store is allowed to have a name and reputation behind it and treat it's customers so very, very poorly. Bridgestone Socialcare responded to this review and I promptly emailed the above with the attached receipts/photos. I was immediately responded to and was responded to each and every time until Friday. Last response from Bridgestone was we would hear from the manager at the Firestone "within 48 hours". It is WELL over 48 hours and we have had NO CONTACT from the store manager and NO RESPONSE from Bridgestone Social when I advised of this. In the last two weeks, I've had to drop off my three cars for numerous services. Each time, I had an appointment scheduled for sometime in the early afternoon. While making the appointments, the service technicians informed me that if I dropped off my vehicles in the morning, that they would do their best to have them ready sooner than later. To my surprise, I would receive a call to pickup the cars within one to two hours after dropping them off. I was concerned about the service at the location due to previous reviews, but I can only assume that the reviewers have not been there recently. I'm not sure what has changed at this location (Lake Nona), but it's for the better. Excellent and timely service each visit. Great job and Kudos to the entire Firestone Service Team at Lake Nona!! Horrendous service. Dropped off my car for an oil change at 8:40 am. They promised to update with times and failed to do so. When I called at 1:30 pm for status. The person who answered said his tech was at lunch and I said " ok, but you've had the car for 5 hours for an oil change, without any updates". He (mike ) berated me , saying "what am I supposed to do, let my guy starve, it'll be done closer to 3:30pm - we're short handed ". Understanding that there are potentially always delays this could have easily been resolved by them living up to their promise to communicate with me. I should not of had to chase them down in order to find out that a simple oil change would take seven hours. This is also keeping in mind that this is the second time at this location the first time having made an appointment for first thing in the morning. The store was closed and nobody answered the door. I ended up going to Walmart behind the store to get the oil change and on my way out an hour later fire stone was open. This is a poorly managed store. If I do return to fire stone it will be to the one north of 528. While it is a little further away, they run a much better shop and seem to employ professionals. It's unfortunate that fire stone can't maintain that same type of consistency throughout stores. read more

Ive been a costumer of firestone for 3 years and Today I came for an oil change. a guy received me and told me my car was gonna be ready in about 2 and a half hours i waited around the area for my car to be finished. 3 hours and around 25 mins passed and then i decided to go back to the store to check if my car was ready because the time limit they told me had already passed and when im walking to the store i see that my car is parked in the same place where i left it at. and when i go inside of the store the same employee told me i had to wait 45 more minutes. i told him 3 hours had already passed and his response was the other people had priority. i left firestone without an oil change, 3 hours and a half of my day wasted and very disappointed read more

The only good thing at this place is Dennis at the front desk! Very friendly and taking the brunt of insults for the incompetent people behind him. Understaffed is understandable but I brought my car in because it was shaking at highway speeds. I asked for two new front tires thinking that was the problem. I received a phone call saying I needed an air filter and new wipers. ?? I wasn't there for that.....when I picked my car up and drove across the street I noticed my engine light was now on! I called and asked if checking the air filter would make that happen. I was told to bring the car back in and they will diagnose it for 99$ more!! Instead I popped the hood and took a look....they never put the air filter back together or plugged the wires back in!!! I had to figure it out myself under a street light in the pouring rain! ! The shaking was still there and come to find out I needed back tires (The car had been sitting too long )...... they didn't Notice that when they did the total alignment and complete courtesy check? such a horrible experience!!! read more
