Im not the type of person to go out of my way and leave a bad review. But service here was awful and if i can help someone out i will.. If you have life time alignment I recommend scheduling the latest appt time or if your looking to get lifetime alignment i don't recommend this location. My appt time was 10am i picked up my car at 6pm closing time... my car was the last to be worked on and I'm sure it was because they aren't making any profit on lifetime alignments... I drop off my car at 10am they said it will be done a "couple" hours. A "couple" universally means 2 - 4hrs right? No, not Limonite firestone terms. A couple hours roll by no call, i called and they said it will be done around 3pm. 3pm rolls around no call i call they say 5pm. 5pm rolls around no call i call they say 6pm... They close at 6pm my car was the last to get worked on unless 10am is the latest appt time available i would see why i was the last... atleast call and give me updates lol. The customer service here is the absolute WORST. Every single time I've been there, they don't smile, they aren't friendly, they leave you waiting, they don't care. I'd give zero stars if I had the option. First they wanted me to pay $100 to run diagnostics? This service is free at almost any other auto repair shop. I've been ripped off by Firestone telling me I needed repairs that I really didn't need....so I tested the theory when I was due for an oil change, but only after my trusted mechanic went over everything with me and all was well with my newer vehicle. My mechanic reassured me that my vehicle was in top notch shape and needed no maintenance or repairs at the time beyond the oil change. I went to Firestone to see if they were honest mechanics, or if my gut instinct was correct. Well sadly I was right and they claimed I needed $782 worth of repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance. Don't be a victim to these thieves called Firestone. First time trying this place, and struck out. We have our usual reliable service locations, but this place is literally a minute from our house so we decided to give them a try with my wife's car that needed a new tire. Simple 2 tire replacement, we've done this over 50 times so we know the routine. Her car is under 2 years old, this was going to be its first tire replacement. They provided the usual suggestion of rotating the tires, and we agreed. Get the car back, go home, everything seems fine. I go out of town for a few weeks and the first time my wife gets on the freeway she tells me "the car is shaking from the front when i hit certain speeds". I told her, no problem, have our neighbor who's a mechanic check it out, and he confirms its a balancing issue. Once I get back in town I take it back to Firestone and inform them that the car seems to not be balanced. I was told "Most likely when we rotated the back tires to the front, it threw off the balance, so we'll need to now balance the front tires. Though we're extremely busy so can to make an appointment for middle of next week". I asked if there was going to be any cost involved and was told "At a minimum, $30" I passed on the appointment, took it back to one of our regular tire care providers who fixed the balancing issue for free. They even apologized for Firestones mistake stating "if you're going to rotate tires new or old, you should always balance them, as this is common issue that happens due to rotating". Out of the many, many times of having tires replaced, we've never had to return a second time to get our tires balanced, and pay extra to boot. Firestone struck out in my opinion, I was not going to go back and pay to fix an issue they introduced and could have done right the first time. If I could no give no stars I would. I am very disappointed with there service. Besides an oil change taking over 4 hours, they do not care about customer service or building relationships. I took my car in to have an oil change and my tires rotated. Dropped off 9:30 at 1:50 they called me to tell me they couldn't rotate my tires because I had two nails on one tire. They talked to my husband and asked if he wanted to buy new tires, and he said no and hung up. Then I called back because I have limited warranty on those tires. They said they couldn't fix the tire and then told me if I brought all my receipts that I had my tires rotated else where then they would give me a prorated amount on new tires (which was $20 per tire). Here is my thought process, why didn't they bring up the warranty when they called the first time. Why did I have to bring it up? Also I felt like they were trying to push new tires, a $200 alignment and cooling system pressure test instead of saying look... here is the situation, here is what we can do to keep your business. Nope instead you question where did I have my tires rotated. Its not like I have ever asked them to repair or replace any of the tires I purchased there. I feel if you want to do something you could. And if you drop off your car forget it, plan on leaving it there all day. I will never return to this store ever again. I have always used this shop, since it was close to me, I had a car that hadn't been running I awhile, so I decided to take it to them. BIG MISTAKE. I had brought in my car and they proceeded to make repairs and replace hosing and other miscellaneous items. I ended up paying a lot of money to get the car running again But when I went to pick up my car, it was not complete or done. I was told that they need a special tool to put oil in my car, and that it need a special oil cause it was an older car. I had to wait a week before they had the tool and my special oil Needless to say a week later I had my car back, it was running ; however I never made it home, my car died on me. I had the car towed back, and they resumed work on my vehicle. In short, my fuel gauge wire had been disconnected when they were replacing my tubes and hosing. Three months has passed since my service, my transmission felt like it was slipping. So I took it to a transmission specialist for older cars, the mechanic lifted my car on jack and begin pointing out thins wrong with my car. My transmission pan was dropped at Firestone, so I was told and indicated on my receipt. However my mechanic indicated that the transmission pad hadn't been removed in at least 10 years. He also pointed to some hosing that was supposed to been replaced, it was old and collapsed. I had my battery replaced at Firestone, well they put in the wrong battery and made some custom modifications to my power post. In short, they work that I paid for was only 30% completed, what was done was done incorrectly, I was basically a money tree to them. Ask for Hugo. The guy knows how to take care of a customer. I came here when my truck mysteriously lost power. I brought it in on a preciously short lunch break, and Hugo promised to have a tentative diagnosis to me as soon as possible. Since I couldn't receive calls, he offered to text me from his personal phone, which he did. After ruling out compression loss, the initial diagnosis was a clogged fuel injector. They changed out the entire bank of (3) injectors. They even stayed late to do it. When the power loss remained after the repair, they didn't charge me for any of the work (amounting to nearly $600). I was frustrated, but glad they'd tried in the short time I gave them. With my truck still limping, and not familiar with Riverside, I had nowhere to go. I left it for them to give another look in the morning. With more time to attack the problem, they finally found it was simply a fried plug wire. This may have been overlooked simply because I'd had them replaced less than 3000 miles prior. They replaced the whole set, for good measure. And since that previous tuneup was done at Firestone, they didn't charge me for that, either. In all, I got a bank of injectors, new plug wires, oil and filter. For free. Not a penny from my pocket. My truck's running like a champ at 120,000. The business is not a charity, so it's not the kind of thing I expect every time. But Hugo recognized me as a frequent Firestone customer, and took great care of me. read more

I set up an appointment to have my alignment done, usually takes about 1:30-2:00 hours to do it, my appointment was for 12:00 I get there and they tell me I have to leave my car and it wouldn't be ready until 6pm. I did receive a call from them @11:57 3min before my appointment I ignored the call because I was already in the office waiting for someone to come out and help me. Everyone was nice, but what's the point of making an appointment if I'm going to have to leave my SUV there all day. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Took my car in for an oil change not even a week later it was smoking a lot from the exhaust come to find out my car had absolutely no oil!!! So i don't know what the hell they did for almost 3 hours and my brother called to ask what they can do or if they can pay for something or reimburse since it WAS THEIR FAULT. how do I go in for an oil change and come out with no oil? There was absolutely no leaks or ANYTHING on my car after so they just never put oil in and the guy was very rude on the phone with him and proceeded to say well the car is old that's his only defense. He then also hung up the phone. My car was running fine before I took it in even with old oil and I go in for an oil change and then my car stops running and won't start? DO NOT GO HERE!!! Very unprofessional! They caused more issues and damage to my engine and are not taking any responsibility for it since it's "old". I now have to find my own mechanic to check the car and possible damage to my engine which will come out of MY pocket even tho I just paid 130 for an oil change for my car to come out with no oil which has now RUINED the rest of my engine. I have had a very good experience with this establishment recently. They diagnosed the problem and made the repairs in a timely manner. Both Nolan and Michael were very professional, they explained the cars' issues very well and were patient with my questions. The repairs made by Raul made the car run like new. We are very happy with the work performed. The cost seemed expensive but I have no way of comparing the work to other's prices. We will return in the future. After spending 2500 on all of this I come home to see that they bent the passenger front rim when installing the tires. They broke my neighbors dipstick and over tightened two lug nuts and they broke off. When we went to discuss the mater they said it was not their fault! Very happy customer Alex is the man I now trust. He checked out my alignment (that Toyota said was way off) and told me someone loosened the bolt and it could have become a big problem. Since I was just at Toyota, it could only have been someone at Toyota who loosened it. Anyway, Alex fixed it and showed me the print out after he was done. Since I purchased the lifetime service, they aligned my tires FREE OF CHARGE. I asked him to check my battery (which Toyota said was "low"). He checked it in front of me and printed out the diagnosis stating my battery was "good". No charge for that either. Do I trust Firestone now? You can bet I trust Alex! read more

I bring all my vehicles here for tire and brake work. I like the customer service and generally get good service. I've only had one issue and never addressed it with them. I had a new tire installed and then about a month later I took the car to the dealer for brakes since it was under warranty. The dealer said whoever put the tire on, put the lug nut on backwards. I ended up paying $77 to have it cut off. Yes, I could have gone back to Firestone to get s refund, but I didn't bother. For the most part I have no complaints about them. read more

I just recently bought my first car & brought it here for a diagnostic and wheel alignment. The guys were pleasant and professional, told me exactly what kind of work my car needs and answered all my questions. I appreciate them taking the time to fully explain what was needed and being honest about how badly the repairs are needed so I can plan ahead to get it all done. After my appointment I suddenly had trouble starting my car, they came right back out to help me & figure out what was going on. The mechanic who assisted me taught me a trick to make sure my car will be okay until I can get the repairs done & even offered to take some time to look for exactly what I need since it's not readily available to order in. I appreciated them going that extra mile for me. My only complaint is that I have a manual 5-speed with a short shifter and they adjusted it, so now the shift knob is up higher and I'm not a big fan of its new position. I'll likely return and ask them to put it back the way it was. I appreciate them thinking that perhaps I'd like the adjustment but they should have asked :P Overall I had a great experience & I'll definitely be back for some things, but like most auto shops they're a bit expensive for parts/labor. They quoted me around $1200 for the mechanical work. Searching online I found all the parts I need for about $200 & know someone who will install them for me for way less. read more

I have nothing but praise for this location. I was having an issue with grinding brakes and needed them fixed but also my boss is flying down tomorrow to spend the day. I dropped the car off around 4:00 in the afternoon, fully expecting top pick it up the next day and having to shift cars around with my wife and daughter in order to make sure I was able to meet with me boss. Beware as many have fell victim to unnecessary parts and repairs at this and other Firestone locations. I went here for years but within the past year they have started providing false information to me. After taking both my cars to another trusted brake and tire shop it was confirmed that I did not need brakes on either car. Soon after posting my distrust and frustration about them I learned that others have had the same experiences. Now yesterday it was on the news that Firestone is ripping people off. I thought well no harm in taking it in for the 19.99 oil change, I won't let them do any other work. Now I hear that they don't even put the right amount of oil in your car but less. Received a call to track down parts needed. Updated on repairs with reasonable recommendations. Surprisingly my van was ready by late afternoon the same day. Super disappointed with customer service! I've never had an issue here until yesterday. Whoever was at the counter answering phone calls was rude and wasn't trying to help at all! I made an appointment online, I showed up dropped my car off and left. No problem until I called to ask for an updated I had dropped my car off at 9 am. They guy at the counter when I dropped off never once told me my car would be done until 5:30 p.m! That's a whole 8 hours! All I needed was an oil change! Anyway, when I called to get an update, the guy who answered was being so rude and basically keep telling me that my online appointment was pointless because other appointments that were called in had to go in first. Which makes no sense to me why was my appointment not valid??? I told him no one communicated that to me that it would be 8 hours before I'd get my oil change or I would have just made an appointment for a different day. The man replies with yea there's others who made appointments that need to go in before you. Like what!? I literally dropped off an hour before opening! Let me take over that mans jobs I'm sure i can do a hell of a better job with customer service and make sure to communicate the proper way. He wasn't even trying to help me reschedule for the inconvenience. I have no problem waiting but when nothing is being properly communicated with me and I have errands to run and only have one car AND the counter guy is being a jerk about it of course I'm going to get upset. The tires are ok for the price I paid but they didn't put enough oil in my car. checked it and it was a quart low. Yesterday, I took my car in because the check engine light was on, I was told that the fee for complete diagnostic check would be $99.99 and it would take 1- 1 1/2 hrs to complete. after 30 minutes, the person at the front counter called me up and said they really didn't know what was wrong with my car and that due to time they didn't want to tear the car down and not be able to put back together. I could either leave it over the week end or bring back on Monday. I was ok with that, I made an appt for Monday. I was told that I still had to pay the $99.99. I said the diagnostic was not complete and you still don't know what is wrong with my car. BOTTOM LINE, MY CAR WAS BEING HELD HOSTAGE UNLESS I PAID FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T GET!!!. Ladies, be ware when dealing with mechanics, whether they are shade tree or large service centers like this one. They prey on women! read more
