I called to have my thermostat replaced. The third party/outsourced agent on the phone could not answer my questions and just wanted me to schedule an appointment. Since I was in a rush to get my car fixed, I accepted the appointment. She then asked if we wanted an oil change as well. We asked how much and she quoted 62 dollars. When we arrived, the man at the counter said they needed to diagnose it themselves (because Auto Zone diagnostic was unreliable) which I could understand, but I feel like he was not very clear and was trying to double talk. And he also said they would probably need it until the next day! The cost was going to be more than I thought was fair ($400) but I was still willing to do it as I needed the car to be fixed right away. When I asked about the oil change as well, he said it would be $120!! I said that is NOT what the outsourced agent said 10 minutes ago on the phone, and he said those agents don't know their pricing!!! The whole thing was just not sitting well with me so I told him forget it! I went home and called the mobile mechanic Auto Zone had recommended who came within an hour, fixed it in 1 1/2 hours, and charged less than half! It was the THERMOSTAT. THANK YOU Auto Zone and Chewy the mobil mechanic!!! Maybe Tire Choice should just stick to tire jobs because those seem to be the only good reviews here! read more

I brought in my car for service and I had to return for them to reset the maintenance light that came on. I was charged $75 for diagnostic. The front desk person indicated that upon leaving: "I should have reminded them to reset the maintenance button." There was no courtesy and I was not happy with this service. While the person is figuring out to reset the light, he sat in my car, driver side, he has a sandwich in his left hand, scanner on his lap the cellphone on his right hand. He is totally confused, I don't think the mechanics are experienced enough, they lack knowledge of what they are doing. read more

What a bunch of p.o.s. They're out here diagnosing things that aren't even wrong. They did it twice to us. Over 6k gone because they have no idea what they are doing. Also check your receipt. They lie like no other. Charged us for new genuine parts they put on old "refurbished" ones from auto zone that have already failed less then a month. They're Definitely acting in bad faith. We also asked them to do one thing and fix it when we brought it back for it not working. They chose to do something else and charged us without having gotten an okay. Shady shady crooks. read more

I was at work and my wife's vehicle needed an oil change, read some good reviews here and decided to have them take care of it (I usually do my own oil changes). My wife calls me and tells me the entire bill of work these guys worked up. They wanted to do EVERYTHING, oil change, air filter, spark plugs, brakes, transmission fluid, there was more but this was months ago. I arrive on-site, and asked for an explanation, as I just changed the brakes and and air filter months ago. There was no explanation, just that this is the work they suggested. I asked him to just change oil and oil/air filters and we'll take it from there. It was time to change the oil/filter again a couple weeks ago. I could not loosen the drain plug no matter what I used. Please see the photo below. Before anyone thinks I stripped it, this damage was done after I tried using 6 and 12 point sockets (where there was no stripping damage). I had used vice grips and channellock tools and let me tell you, I had a VERY good grip on the drain plug, it didn't budge. So I had to drill a hole into my pan, replace the pan at 60 bucks. Anyone that has replaced a pan, I had to use specialty bond and it took me around 3 hours of my time to get it done. The oil filter is supposed to be hand tight. This too was impossible to budge; I had to use vice strap clamp to loosen. Do I think they welded or glued? No they weren't that petty/smart, they obviously used a power tool to tighten both with 50 pounds of torque behind it, which is a big no-no. The cherry on top was the air filter. They clearly didn't even change it. My vehicles factory air filter was still installed (I buy factory brands when available). I know for a fact they dont have these on-hand. Would not suggest this place to anyone! read more

Took my car in for a visibly bad oil leak, tech claimed there was no leak (weird, when it's was obvious). Then proceeded to tell me that the whole engine needed to be rebuilt, and that I needed that done, and they could do that. Took it to a friend's mechanic who I trusted, and was told the head gasket was leaking and it would just be a $42 part and a couple hours labor. Unbelievable. Brought my car in for new tires the price was high compared to every other shop oh well I thought spend a little extra get some extra but that wasn't the case the car was there from 11am to 6pm when I got home one tire was missing a center cap had to drive all the way back for them to instal it then the next day after washing a pound of grease and goop from the tires to find all 4 rims scratched with identical scratches on all 4 the guy inside Rodney was cool the technician with reddish brown hair with a sultans t shirt on was the one who installed my tires after this I won't ever go there again and I recommend mom and pop shops you can find them all day on offerup should of gone that route read more

I am constantly having problems with getting nails and screws in my tires. If the tires can be repaired, they do it at no cost. If I need new tires, they get them for me in a timely manner. They are always courteous and helpful. I recommend them for oil changes and other services too. read more

Car is now basically undriveable after the alignment technician made adjustments. Tire Choice Auto Service Center on Camino Real in Jurupa Valley did not even attempt to put it back the way I drove it in. Apparently when I dropped my car off, they started mine, but put another car on the alignment rack instead of finishing mine. Then, "needed more time". Next, I was told I would have to leave it another day. Finally, I was informed they couldn't do the work today because the guy "who knew what he was doing" could work on it tomorrow. Seriously, does any of this sound encouraging? Update - took it to Red's Shop and it was set perfect in 25 minutes and they charged me $30 less than Tire Choice was going to. read more

These guys are incredible. We were in town for just a few hours and needed to replace our trailer tires, they didn't have them in stock but made some calls and found them at a tractor supply store down the street. They let us know that if we wanted to pick them up they would put them on and only charge us for changing the rims. They got it done in record time so we could get back on the road. Not only that but they also gave us a new pin for our hitch (we had lost ours), aired up our spare, and replaced the valve stem. When it came time to pay the manager told us not to worry about it and just glad he could get us safe and road worthy. WHAT?? I wish these guys were in Vegas, I would give them all of my business! I stopped in on a Saturday morning for oil change and brakes (was told from my last dealership servicing that I'd need brakes soon). Rodney said they could be done in about 3 hours. I got a call about an hour later and he asked if I could come in so he can show me the brakes -I was expecting the worst. He showed me that they were nearly brand new and would NOT need brakes any time soon. He also showed me that I had a leak from the radiator cap and was able to get that fixed. I have taken my car in several times once for a oil change then I took it back because the car had a leak so then they said the leak was from the power steering cost for repair $846. 75. After that I still had leeks took it back again then they said the timing cover gasket was what was leaking cost for repair $2681.18. Took it back their were still leeks. Worst company I have ever used. I would not recommend this company to anyone. And still my car is leaking. read more

I went in on September 5, 2023 to get front brakes done and get oil changed. The cost of the front brakes were outrageous. The individual at the front had a very bad attitude! He refused to work with me on the pricing, so I declined the work!! The oil change wow! I was standing there the whole time and I did not see him check any of the fluids at all!! The person at front said it's part of the service that they check them all! He said that he had his best mechanic working on my car! Really??I had him check them again. Reluctantly he went and asked mechanic to recheck them!!!Still didnt really check. But he put almost half of gallon of the windshield wiper fluid!! His best mechanic. I don't think so. The person at front was Vincent. He needs to get an attitude adjustment. I've had work done on my car before but, honestly, Im going elsewhere for future mechanical work!!!Terrible!!! read more

This is not the same company with all the good reviews. They bought the old company out. I purchased a 3 year alignment 9 months ago and they won't honor it any more. When I say bought out the company, they bought everything. Certified tires is no longer the company. But it's as if they merged with them as advertised on their website. $350 down the drain. I needed some tires and this was the place I used to frequent so I gave it a shot. I'm sorry that I did. Service writer said maybe 5 words to me. Didn't get to choose what tires i wanted he just typed at his computer for 5 minutes saying not a word to me and handed me the paper to sign. I wanted some kind of warranty for the tires but I was never asked. Also its laughable that on the receipt it says that customer declined these services, dude literally never asked me anything. So thank god I needed to jump start another car right after leaving here and driving home, because when I popped the hood my oil dipstick wasn't in the hole and oil had started puking over the engine and hood... this could have become a huge issue thank god I noticed. Been going to this shop for at least 5 years now and this was my LAST visit. The service writers you used to have were so nice and inviting. The big guy now seems like you're literally inconveniencing him by just being there, even though there's no cars in the bays. I can see why there are no cars here now! My last review of this place was 5 stars but since then the name of the place has changed, got bought out or something I'm assuming. I would never go back again now. Made an appointment 3 days in advance to fix a problem they've already "fixed" twice. Just a simple actuator. After dropping my car off at store open and having it there for most of the day, I called to check on progress after hearing nothing and was told to bring it back in 3 more days. I told them I could leave it for the next two days since I'm off work. Nope, bring it in 3 days. Why? "Other jobs ahead of you."
