During check out, the tech accidentally ran my credit card twice. He said the first time showed him an error so he ran it again. Two transactions showed up on my CC app so I was concerned it charged me twice. He told me to give it a couple hours & gave me the service center manager's business card should I have issues w/ the charge. Over the course of a week or so, George (the manager) would call and check up to see if my charges cleared. He took time to call his credit card merchant as soon as I brought it up to him and called me back within minutes. Such wonderful customer service--from tech to manager. Would consider this location for my future oil change needs.

Instead of properly servicing my vehicle, the technicians caused extensive and unacceptable damage, breaking multiple critical components in the engine bay that were perfectly fine before I arrived. When confronted with the damage, the staff attempted to sweep it under the rug. They offered a shady "self-fix" solution, which blatantly violates their own corporate policies. There is a staggering lack of accountability at every level of this organization. The absolute lowest point occurred when I tried to escalate the matter. While having a serious conversation with the Store Leader regarding the destruction of my property, I could clearly hear employees casually throwing around the "N" word in the background. It was highly offensive, completely inappropriate, and the manager did absolutely nothing to address it. The complete absence of basic professionalism, respect, and human decency from start to finish is mind-boggling. If you value your vehicle, keep it far away from this shop. They will recklessly damage your property and refuse to lift a finger to make it right. Because the local staff was completely uncooperative, I was forced to take matters into my own hands and independently contact their corporate customer service team just to get a damage claim initiated. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this location at all costs. Do not trust these people with your vehicle until they completely overhaul their management, strictly enforce their own policies, and adequately train their employees in both basic mechanics and workplace professionalism.

And Randall explained the process, what was going to take place and the warranty. He made sure I was comfortable with the information and was so personable. You immediately trust him. Randall is professional and at the same time warm. Very knowledgeable. At the conclusion, he brought out Warre, one of the mechanics, who personally handed my wheel lock to me. It was so coincidental because I asked for my lock for my wheel to be handed to me. I forgot to do that with Randall this time and to my surprise, Warren came out and handed it to me. I was very grateful because I did not have to tell them, they remembered or must have made a note in my file. Discount Tires hires great people. No one ever seems to be in a bad mood, especially at the Blanco store. Just wonderful experience.

I recently had a blowout while driving from the 1604 to the Bitters Rd exit. A pothole did a number…read moreon my car. It was towed to Discount Tire near my house. I ended up having to buy two tires for my SUV, which were fairly priced before all of the extra add-on charges. I drove home and thought nothing of it. When I got home, I noticed that my low tire pressure lights were on for both of the tires I had just had replaced. So I went right back and got into there outside quick service lane to have my tires looked at. Here's a weird thing: when you buy new tires, the tread level is generally between 10 and 11 mm for large SUV tires. Sometimes they're even deeper than that. I was quoted that my tire tread levels were at a 7mm and an 8mm, though I didn't see that until the next day. I thought, "Wtf!." So I drove back to Discount Tire and asked them to check my tread levels because it didn't make sense what they were telling me the previous day. Sure enough both tires came back with a tire tread level of 8mm and 8mm. I questioned that immediately thinking I had been sold used tires. Another couple of guys came out and they were all having a conversation around my car which I was not able to hear and then one of the guys approached me and told me that tire tread levels from some manufacturers have lowered for whatever reason. I tried looking that up, and I couldn't find anything about that even when I was looking at my specific tires. That's a big huge thing to say I noticed that they were using a laser gun to check the tires so I asked them to do a mechanical check. He said he wasn't sure they had a mechanical device to check, but he would go and look. Several minutes later, he came back with a mechanical unit and checked the tread levels and slowly approach my window to tell me that now they've checked in at 6 mm each, which blew me away! I was told not to worry about the actual tread level, but the fact that the tires are new as can be seen by looking at them. Then I was told that the day and a half I had had the tires might have been a left time depending upon how much I've driven you have lowered the tread that far which is a complete asinine thing to say. I had gone to work once and other than that I've only been to Discount Tire company, which is literally two blocks away from my house. It was clear I am not getting anywhere with them so in the meantime, I've gone online to log a complaint about the runaround I got, and just hoping for some honest answer and then a remedy if need be.

We thought maybe it was the runoff or that it had drained down the block. We were patient. However, the oil wasn't a little - it was a lot. We took the car back and here were the different answers we received: sometimes the plug backs itself out, they didn't want to strip the threads so they didn't tighten it and sometimes this just happens. What? Unfortunately, we now also have our new car making a new noise and no confidence in this establishment. I feel compelled to warn others only because a car is such an expensive investment to have a company demonstrate such little care and attention to detail when doing their ONE job.

I'm new to the area so I had Apple Maps direct me to the closest Mazda and I ended up here. I was tired so I was able to leave my car and they had someone drive me home. The downside is that the service person wrote my number down wrong so while I forced myself to stay up hoping everything would be resolved before I go to sleep, it was afternoon before I realized it and checked my email. No harm no foul and stuff happens. Thankfully they were so thorough and obtained an email too. They actually sent me a video of what was going on with my car and the inspection (extra service I requested with oil change). Unfortunately it wasn't a simple fix and the cover had to be replaced but they had it in stock...well they did. Apparently, the time it took for us to make contact, the part was sold. Now it gets complicated because I had to work that night. New city, I need my car. Thankfully, they had one courtesy car left and they sent someone to pick me up so I had a car for work. First time getting a courtesy car and I never knew it would feel like a bigger deal than renting one. All in all, my car was fixed the next day. The service team was awesome and I appreciate the technician from the northeast who drove me home for being super friendly and giving me heads up on places to eat. I'm not happy my car needed servicing but I'm glad I ended up here. They took good care of me and Storm. Yeah, my CX-5's name is Storm.

I took my car close to my salon to get my oil changed, big mistake because they said they could not change the oil filter because it's torqued too hard and I had to go back to Midas to fix it. They laughed and said no problem. "It's just a certain way to take it off is all and we will take care of that" and they did!! No questions asked put in a new filter cleaned it all up. This shop is terrible. I paid $2200 to replace AC compressor. It didn't work well after 2 weeks…read more They didn't seem interested in fixing the issue. Took my vehicle to another Midas on 281 & Bulverde. It cost me another $3500 to fix what this shop messed up and do things they should have done initially to repair my AC. The other Midas was awesome. Will trust them in the future. This Midas is really bad. Terrible service and awful management. Beware!!
