I'm giving Seekonk Firestone zero stars! August 2023 I paid 2k for new brakes and new suspension assemblies... here we are less than 9 months later and my front suspension assemblies are shot! Took it in cause I could feel the front end has no control Nevermind the click clanking when you wiggle the steering wheel... young kid looked at it and says oh everything we put in August has to be fully replaced! Said the passenger side suspension is ripped and leaking everywhere and the drivers side is starting to leak! I had the original suspension in for 9 years till it needed to be repaired...got it fully fixed by firestone and now these parts lasted less than 9 months!?!?! This place is a joke! Either they put in wrong parts or they didn't install them correctly! If they don't fully repair this for free I will go to corporate! So disappointed that their lack of skills.. their mistake installing crap parts is now inconveniencing me! Nevermind the money wasted for them to have to do it all over again.. the kid acted like oh no big deal we will refix everything for free! But it is a big deal.. free or not this should not have broken 9 months later.. from now on going to EP Firestone or to dealer.. forget seekonk! Total nightmare! read more

After reading negative reviews, here is my take on the place. You're paying entry level individuals to work on your vehicle, if you want dealer level techs, go to the dealer. I have had both good and bad experiences at the Seekonk location, when going there, if you explain exactly what you want, what you don't want, they can handle it...don't go there with I don't know.... The kid in the uniform, doesn't know either, he just follows directions. Most recent work - Customer care package, they basically check vehicle over, rotate tires, check fluid levels. I have a balance issue on two of my rims, I specifically asked not to rotate tires...guess what, they didn't. Again, they follow direction, be precise. read more

I had purchased road protection with my tire from these guys so i brought it here to be fixed when i got a flat - attached is a pick of the big scratch they made on my wheel also notice the plug is still hanging out of the tire. !? Never seen that before had to trim it myself. I guess since they had to do it for free it wasn't worth it to them to do a good job. read more

Best service I've had at an automotive facility. From customer service to the actual work being done I am very pleased with my experience.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! They have no clue what they're doing! 1st visit - to install 4 new tires 2nd visit - Front driver tire not holding air. Problem supposedly fixed after 2 hr wait. 3rd visit next day - thumping sound from tire fixed previous evening. Mechanic test drove, verified that lugs not "torqued" enough, tire extremely loose! 4th visit - thumping & grinding sound in same tire within 1 week. (Note: previous mechanic quit that week unexpectedly) After 3 hour visit, with my car on the lift for 3 hours with 3-4 "mechanics" evaluating, Service Manager, said they were unable to find anything wrong with any of the tires. He suggested I take it to a transmission specialist whose card he gave me. The next day, I took it to my local mechanic who pointed out that a LUG was missing( I have pictures) He replaced the lug, tightened all of them, and the problem is now gone! I had driven my car hundreds of miles the day before this visit and could have endangered my life! I plan on sharing this story with as many people as possible to stay away from this inept service center! They clearly don't know anything about tires! My mechanic could only speculate that they don't have good enough equipment that could tighten the bolts. Very scary! BEWARE! read more

This Center (Firestone Complete Auto Care 95 Highland Ave Seekonk, MA 02771) blew up my husband's truck. It caused us $1,000 to have the truck fixed and refused to accept responsibility for it - not only that but they installed a muffler then wouldn't honor the warranty on the muffler. I wouldn't trust these guys with any automobile - they do not live up to Firestone's Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. Look out you may not have a drivable vehicle if you let them work on it. Buyer beware - we are only hoping that the Corporate office will help us get the warranty work done, and some reimbursement for the damage they caused. We'll see if Corporate will satisfy a customer, if not this review will stand, if Corporate does I'll write a post review on how Corporate proceeds. I had a good experience making the appointment and dropping off my car. My issue comes with picking up my car. When I walked in, nobody was at the counter. You could see them all in the actual garage part standing around talking, laughing, having a great time. It took them about 15 minutes to come out even though they seen me. The service I had them do was switch over my summer tires to my snow tires. When I got in the car and started to drive away, the TPMS light came on saying my tire pressure was low in one tire. I stopped at a gas station and my tire was at 22 psi instead of 40 which is what my car states on my driver door. I also noticed there was no valve stem cap on this tire and only this tire which I thought was weird that this was the only tire low in pressure and it was missing the valve stem. I called the next day and they said it was because the tires were filled in their warm shop and then sat outside for a few hours. I could believe they could go down a little in that time period but I would also think they all would have went down. All the other tires were close to the correct pressure. I understand mistakes happen but its take ownership of the mistake. I wasn't looking for my money back or a discount or anything like that. I just wanted to let them know of the issue. I'm assuming by the way they responded that they get a lot of unhappy customers and they are already on edge when they get a phone call telling them of an issue. read more

They fixed my front brakes, which means replacing the tires. Four days later the tire fell off and my car was totaled. They took no responsibility for not replacing the tire properly which caused the accident. I spent two months dealing with Bridgestone corporate the parent company, and was disgusted by their complete disinterest in the incident. Because of their terrible workmanship I am without a car and have to begin the legal process. STAY AWAY at all Costs, they can't even torque lugnuts correctly. read more

I've been here a few times before, never overly impressed, but out of habit I've came back. Today I went for an oil change and was talked into having an inspection. Not in a huge rush I asked the clerk about how long it would take to which he replied "about an hour" I came back an hour later not expecting it to be done. I ended up waiting another hour. While I wasn't thrilled I would have understood if they were busy, it was not. I sat in the waiting room listening to 4 employees talk about unrelated conversation while one mechanic worked very slowly on my car. When the car was finished the total was 50+ dollars, and out of curiosity I asked how much the oil change was to which the mechanic replied "45. How much were you expecting to pay!" For the most part everyone was very nice, but I see no reason to ever go back. read more

It took them 2 hours for them to put two tires on my car after they pulled it into the bay. It even took them 20 minutes to cash me out after they said it was all done. Never going back. read more

I went today to get a oil change. I had a appointment and was taking right away, cause no one was there for the first few minutes. I told the tech I wanted the oil change bundle with wipers, he stated they didn't have the wipers and he would have to order them. Then he said there would be a charge for that. In which he said I had to pay. REALLy. Then he said I needed new tires in the front of my car. He quoted me a price and I told him , let me call my husband. We said no and what he wanted to charge was not right. I was not happy with this and how they treat customers. Just because I'm a young woman they tried to take advantage of the fact I didn't know much about auto body and had a credit card. I only came to switch my snow tires back to my regular tires a few months back and they made this HUGE ordeal that I had a cracked belt. So me not being the idiot they thought I was immediately had someone close to me check on the belt to find out there was actually nothing broken or cracked at all and they literally just wanted to see me spend as much as i could. I'll never go back, this place is exactly why women don't trust going to autobody shops alone because these guys always assume they can just sell us on stuff we don't need. read more

I went there to have my 2015 Subaru Forester's rear brake pads replaced. They took 3 hrs to complete the job and broke 2 lug nuts of one of the rear wheels. They tried to pass the blame to the Subaru dealership where I had serviced the vehicle recently, saying that the lug nuts were stripped off by the dealership. They also wanted $85 each for replacing the lug nuts which they have broken. I had to go to the dealership and they replaced the lug nuts for free as a courtesy. It was no fault of the dealership at all as the lug nuts thread looked good upon inspection and it is clear that Firestone mechanic broke it while taking it off. I had to spend 5 hrs (3 hrs at Firestone and 2 hrs at the dealership) in total to get my rear brake pads replaced. This was a horrifying and frustrating experience to say the least. Very good service and reasonable prices for basic maintenance. Beats the hell out of Valvoline just up the road which charges like 3x the amount for an oil change. They told me 1060, 3 times over the phone. But When I got there to pay for the repairs in person it was a little over 1400. If you value your money that you work hard for, don't go here. WORST garage I've ever been to. I brought my car on Saturday in for a Check Engine light. They call to tell me they don't have the part but it will be in stock by Tuesday. They then call when the car is ready Tuesday and mention a "small crack" they noticed in my windshield. The "crack" was actually a chunk of glass missing at the base of the windshield that was NOT there when I dropped it off. The technician claims he mentioned it on the phone initially and that it was there when he first inspected the car. The scratches on the wiper in the same area (that also weren't there before) seem to suggest otherwise. Talking to the manager did nothing, and he didn't even give us the courtesy of calling us back when we tried to discuss this. Unless you're interested in dealing with LIARS, I'd suggest going to ANY OTHER garage. Never ever going back. read more

Came in for 4 tires and received a good rate. After having the tires installed I was told I needed $1200 in struts for my 2012 car. When I declined, the mechanic said they are unable to do the 4 wheel alignment on my vehicle unless I got the struts done first. The mechanic became angry with me when I questioned him on this. I left and went to the VW dealership and they inspected the struts on my car. The VW dealership told me that my struts were completely fine with nothing wrong with them. This is extremely poor and untrustworthy service. Firestone needs to look more closely at their employees representing them. read more

Went in on Sunday, July 17th to have air conditioning checked out. They asked for 168 dollars for freon. They said everything is working fine but car just needs freon. I said for 168 I can buy 5 cans of freon and do it myself. Can you work with me on the price? They said no way. I left. Glad I wore two pair of underwear otherwise I would have been raped. read more

I have used this Firestone location on several occasions. While they are courteous and have reasonable wait times at this facility, I find that the technicians are of quite poor quality. Each time I have brought my vehicle to this location to be serviced, I inevitably find myself needing to return to fix shoddy workmanship on my vehicle. I have had brakes replaced which only lasted for a few months afterwards because they were put on too tightly, tires replaced on the vehicle incorrectly leaving my car pulling dangerously to the right, and most recently purchased 4 new tires only to have a light go on in my vehicle indicating a tire pressure system failure. Highly dissatisfied customer. I would concur with previous reviews suggesting that people find a specialist to work on their vehicle who knows what they're talking about. read more

I stopped by yesterday for an oil change and to have the grinding noise my brakes were making looked at. The mechanic told me that because of the condition my breaks were in, "legally" the only way I could take my car home without getting them done ASAP was to have it towed. I came in expecting to get my brakes redone so I wasn't surprised when they told me this. They gave me a price of $790 with a bunch of discounts the manager was generous enough to throw on.. Then the manager told me I will probably need new calibers ($200-$300 each), but they won't know until they take them off of my car. My dad (a former mechanic) met me at Firestone to pick me up, wanted to check the car, and asked the manager why I couldn't take my car home if I wanted to. The manager called me a liar, claiming that nobody ever told me I couldn't take my car home. After a heated discussion between my father and the manager, the mechanic put my tires back on (using the gun knowing that we were going to end up taking the tires off without one) and the manager was EXTREMELY rude to us when my father was asking how much torque was being used to put my tires back on. The manager seemed to be completely clueless about the questions being asked, either that or he just didn't care about his customers enough to treat them with respect. Once the mechanic pulled my car out of the bay, I was charged almost $50 for an oil change... Which I found out this morning was never done! This place is BEYOND horrible! I have had extremely pleasant experiences at the East Providence location right down the street and expected the same treatment at this location. I will NEVER return to this location. Shame on you, Firestone. You can keep the $50 if it means I never have to experience the rude and disrespectful service that your employees have displayed! read more

DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE IN SEEKONK!!!! I took my Subaru Outback to Firestone on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, to have a tire repaired (nail puncture), my tire was repaired but I was told that my brakes were bad, the rear brake pads were down to 2 and the front roter and pads needed to be replaced. I was given an estimate of $600+...I was suspicious and I took my car to the Subaru dealer the same day. Subaru did a four-point inspection and told me that my front brakes and rotors were fine and Firestone out right lied to me! Subaru replaced my back pads. I called the Seekonk Firestone and complained. They tried to say that my front brakes were "out of line" and that's why the recommended they be replaced which is laughable. The mechanic that told me my front brakes were bad took me under my car and showed me the rotors/brakes...I know nothing about brakes/rotors. The mechanic said that he was a certified Subaru mechanic and worked for Subaru for 7-year. Clearly he was not being truthful. I'm really disappointed that Firestone would lie and try to rip off their customers. Now I know why that store only has a rating of 2.5 stars. Shame on you. The Service manager from Subaru was really mad that Firestone had the gall to tell me that perfectly good brakes and rotors. read more

Brought my truck to get aligned 3 months ago. Told them over the phone that it had a 3" lift on 34s. No problem, same price as regular - $85. Great. Waited 3 hours, ok fine, but now they come out and provide me the spec sheet, "couldn't loosen some bolts so the front tires are a little off, not noticeable at all". No discount, nothing. First drive home steering wheel completely off center and would veer immediately off the road if you didn't restrain it tightly. Front tires were toed in crazy wearing down the tires horribly. 3 Months later I can spend some more money seeing if these bolts are really that bad. Brought to Town Fair Tire across the road, they had it out in an hour or two for the same price, great service no issues. Wheel perfectly centered, tires visually perfect compared to what I received from Firestone. They joked about my experience with Firestone as there was nothing wrong with my suspension preventing a proper alignment. read more

This location maintained my car for 5 years, always seemed to find something major to repair. Often I would have to return a week or two after repair because something else was wrong. The car never ran right. Even had to leave it overnight for "extensive" repair, but according to my new mechanic, some of that work which Firestone listed on my invoice was NEVER done. They even did an oil change without changing the filter. My new mechanic found defective work done at Firestone was directly responsible for serious damage to my car. He wrote up a signed report for me to submit to Firestone to contest the charges. My new mechanic has maintained my car for 3 years now. It runs great and has not required ANY major repairs since I left Firestone. I don't know if all Firestone locations are this bad, but that was my experience with the Seekonk location. My 2006 Mazda 3 wouldn't start on a bitterly cold 10% night in Seekonk Ma. - I had my car towed to Firestone in Seekonk. I had to rent a car to get home. The next day, I called 3 times, begging the service manager to see what was wrong. The ran a diagnostic test that said my car was okay. I begged them to look for a reason why my car broke down. They ignored me. That night, on another bitterly cold night, my car broke down again; in the middle of nowhere. I paid $200 to get my car towed back to Mass. North Shore and $50.00 more to tow to a shop that didn't run a diagnostic: why? Because they were competent, experienced mechanics which the people at Firestone are not. The starter was faulty. All told, Firestone cost me $300 in towing and the 25 wasted bucks on their "diagnostic test'. If you need real car care GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I imagine they struggle with even an oil change. They caused me to suffer just an abysmal, expensive, miserable experience - stay away! read more
