That fee included no dye in the service. If you understand cars you know what that means!! This company thought they caught a wild fish on the line ( meaning me) There was no way I was going to replace everything that made the AC unit run like brand new. This said company was not willing to do car maintainance to fix the problem. I spent my last monies of $170.00 for diagnostic test and that hurt me financially as I am a single woman over the age of 65 and collect Social Security on a very limited income. So since I spent this money it will take me to the end of year to recoup my monies that buy gas, food, medical supplies and needed specialists for my ongoing cost of bad health and having to pay for this unnecessary diagnostic procedure on my 2014 Fiat 500L Trekking vehicle. After a month the grinding noise was too much and i noticed my brake bracket was completely loose, so I took it there again. Result: they charge me for the missing pin it was on my car from the start, i declined, so they say something like 20 years of experience tried to dodge from parts of the inspection, put the pin back in 5 min (most likely my own that was sitting there for a month) and someone drove the car like a crack head to test drive(i saw when i was leaving, they saw me they did not hold back neither), and gave me call gave me back the keys no words about damage on the wheels, tires, loss of wheel balance, absolute silence. Tried to call after do expose all issues and hang up on me at first then manager called me then i lost it when i realized he is also the owner and central part of the disregard for this place because i pointed out personally to him all issues that needed to be addressed. We have been loyal customers for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. The most recent repair was going to be well over $5,000. When we questioned paying for work previously that didn't fix the issue, the story suddenly changed and we were told the repair would be free. After having the vehicle looked at elsewhere, we learned the problem had never actually been fixed, and we were fortunate that the situation didn't result in a vehicle fire. Trust is everything when it comes to auto repair, and unfortunately that trust has been completely broken. It's frustrating and heartbreaking to realize that a business we supported for so long treated us this way. Because I needed my vehicle to get to work, I had no choice but to pay the additional amount to have it released. I later contacted the shop to request a refund of the unauthorized charges, but my concerns were dismissed, and I was treated disrespectfully throughout the process. I believe customers should be notified and asked for approval before repair costs exceed the agreed amount. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

They did a complete car review and charged me. You should expect to pay for a complete checkup of your auto. It's our responsibility to know. I am thankful to the team at Davids for that checkup because they found an oil and transmission leak from poor seals, and the fluid was dangerously low. So if your car is out of warranty. Invest in your auto longevity and take it to Davids. The best thing about going to Davids is he will replace your broken parts with superior parts . Pretty horrible experience at David's today. Been chasing…read morean issue with my vehicle starting for about a month now and finally had it down to the starter, which I can't replace myself (tools). Spoke to David's and they said they would replace the starter I had (O'Reilly's) but they wouldn't warranty the part. Expected and okay. Dropped the vehicle off about 9am. Given a quote for $231 for inspection, diagnostics and testing. Was told that it would be applied to any repairs. Was verbally quoted by Rich that the starter replacement may add a "couple of bucks" but would be close to the $231 and that the testing/diagnostic charge would apply. Was told it would be done by noon. At 12:30pm called to get a status, still in work. At 12:45pm I get an automated inspection report. At 1pm I call back to see if the starter had been replaced. Nope. Quote $760 for replacement using my part and $1050 to use theirs. Asked about the 300% increase from the initial price and after being put on hold for a while was told that the best they could do was $463. DOUBLE the original quote! Was also told that they "hoped" to get it done today. "Hope" is a little dubious after doubling/tripling a quote for no reason. They also made very clear that absolutely no warranty was included - including installation. When I asked if the starter fell off because they forgot to torque the bolts, "Nope, we wouldn't cover that. But we do things right around here." At 5pm I called to see if it was actually completed and it had been done but no one had decided to let me know. Overall, just a bunch of over promises, under delivery and dishonesty! Look elsewhere!

They assured me repeatedly that the car would be ready by end of day. I called shortly before closing, and they said it was about to be ready. I went, paid, and watched them back the car out... then disappear. An hour later, they told me that apparently the brake pads were slipping off when put in reverse. I then had to wait until the next day for another set to be delivered & installed which was a huge inconvenience. I get that some things happen, but it was seriously a series of unfortunate events that no one seemed to care about. The apathetic back-and-forth was frustrating. Won't be returning here. 2 stars only because they did actually get the issue with the car fixed.

Not too bad of a job, HOWEVER, OMG, it required 340ftlb of torque for the crown. My torque wrench went to 180, they had one that went to 250. I put alot of effort in tightening it, and found that I did that for over 250. They let me double check it was at least that tight. So, I can now get it checked at the dealership. The staff was amazing and friendly. I really appreciate their kindness.

Driver's Edge inspected the vehicle and confirmed that both lower control arm bushings were worn, but also recommended a subframe adjustment and alignment. I relied on their professional recommendation and was charged $364, including $205 for subframe labor. After the work was completed, I was informed that the lower control arms still needed replacement. When I later questioned the charges, I was told that the final -1.3° left front camber was within Volkswagen's acceptable specification. I appreciate that explanation, but I still don't understand what measurable benefit the additional $205 subframe adjustment provided, especially since the worn suspension components still required repair afterward. I contacted Sun Auto Customer Care, and they escalated my concern and invited me to bring the vehicle back for another review, which I appreciate. However, I am still looking for a clear technical explanation of why the subframe adjustment was recommended before addressing the worn control arm bushings. The staff was courteous, and I appreciate that they identified the worn control arms. My disappointment is with the recommendation and value of the additional work, not with their professionalism. I hope the company reviews this matter and provides a fair resolution.
