Our 2022 Subaru Ascent was at the 60,000 point and in need of the 60,000 mile service. I needed to take the car on a long road trip at the ladt minute and just wanted to get the essential work done. A 4 wheel alignment and an oil change. They were able to get me in right away and were able to perform the work quickly, while also giving my car a thorough inspection, including pictures. The price was lower that I usually pay at the dealership. The staff was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. They saved my Subaru from an unfortunately incident with a blanket that got stuck under the tire. After hours of attempting to remove the blanket myself, I called them the next morning and was met by a friendly gentleman who was able to accommodate my repair request that very morning. My first time here in this auto shop. Brought my son's Subaru Forester for tire and battery check-up. This place was referred by AAA Texas. They work on all type of cars, SUVs, Vans, and Trucks. Mechanics have ASE certifications. Courteous and helpful Staff. Clean facilities and lots of parking. They offer free shuttle service. Moderately priced on their hourly service. They're the best quality and the best price within the Carrolton area. They have Neutral Gender bathroom. One thing I noticed, most of their Staff have beards. I remember the male Staff at Trader Joe's in Westfield, NJ like them, have beards. I will definitely recommend this Auto Repair Service to our friends and family members. read more

My AC wasn't working so I brought it in and they did a great job of diagnosing the problem and fixing. Had it ended there 5/5. But when I got my car back there was a couple scratch marks under my AC console. But acknowledge it was there fault and repaired it. Had it ended there 4/5. But now here we are and my AC control that dictates the direct of air flow felt weird when it was turned to defrost. Didn't think much of it but now AC is only coming out of the top defroster vents. I will be going somewhere else to fix this problem. Super nice people, but I'm not confident in their technicians. 2/5. ********update April 29th ********* They reached out to me very respectfully and asked to take one last look at the problem. Carrollton Complete Automotive is not the place to take your vehicle any longer. I had read the Management changed and the service men we trusted gone but put our trust in thier long running business. We dropped our car off in the evening. They called first thing the next morning and stated they would evaluate and call by 3:00. Didn't get a call until 5:30 (They close at 6:00) with a list of things. This is Friday and they are not open on Saturdays anymore. We ran to pick up the car before closing to have for the weekend and look over the list of things and partial estimate. They failed to inform us at anytime of charging over $120 for diagnostics. There website states: "Do you give free estimates? Yes we do, for most estimates. If the cause of a particular concern can be determined with a visual inspection, or within a short period of time, we do not charge for estimates. However, it is often the case with concerns that require a more detailed inspection, require various testing procedures and or specialized equipment, or require teardown to determine a cause of failure, a diagnostic fee will be charged. This diagnostic fee will rarely exceed $79.95, and we will ask for your authorization before beginning any diagnostic procedure." Most automotive stores read your codes for free. It really isn't the $ it is not good business practice to not inform your customers! We cannot trust a business like this and will not be returning! read more

Went here a while ago to get my brakes checked out. They tried to tell me I had to get new rotors and new brakes and it would be around $600! Worked with my neighbor and jacked my truck up and took the front wheels off and they are fine, no need to even replace them! read more

After long awaited discussions with Mike Davis, of CCA, he decided to refund the charge for diagnosing my car problem although he still defended Blake's work. Most recently, Mr. Davis told me that "Blake is no longer with us, as there seemed to be so many complications with vehicles that he serviced." I'll give Carrollton Complete Automotive another chance in the future, but hopefully there will be a service advisor other than Phil to work with me. They're not even done with my car yet, but I need to tell you all how great this place is. I've been using them for almost 3 years now. My friend thought he'd be helpful and take my car for an oil change (somewhere else). The mechanic there told him I needed new breaks. So of course I brung my car in to my regular shop prepared to get new breaks. Only to find out that my breaks WERE fine. I say were because after looking at my car they discovered that I am a quart low on oil (after an oil change less than 48 hrs ago), and there's a leak that has run down onto my pads. They recommended that I take my car back to have the people who did it, look at it and fix it. But I'd rather pay the honest mechanics at CCA than risk the others doing more damage to my car. They even offered me a ride home while they check out my car. They don't know, but I begin chemo tomorrow and the last thing I need to worry about is weather I have safe transportation to & from treatments and appointments. My dad always tells me it's hard to find an honest mechanic. I feel blessed to have found CCA the first time I needed auto work after moving to TX and I'd strongly recommend them to anyone searching for good/honest mechanics! read more

Do you know how hard it is to get a reliable mechanic shop? It's about as hard as finding a good barber nowadays. I'm thankful to have found Carrollton Complete Automotive five years ago and have never looked back. Daniel, Cesar, Mike and the rest of the crew there does a stand up job with their work. I have had oil changes, state inspections and even body work taken care of by them and their partners. To the guy that said he was charged a diagnostic fee, they do charge that if you end up not choosing to elect for service there. Otherwise they waive it. Also, pro tip - check out their website for a first time customer discount. I have taken my vehicle to this establishment before and the last time I had this shop look at my car it cost $500 for them to diagnose it and then they wanted to charge another $6600 to repair it. These scammers would have gotten me to pay it too but I thought I would take it to the dealership for a second opinion. The dealership charged me $700 for the repair not $6600 that these scammers would have changed. Bottom line: stay away from these crooks you're better off taking your car to just about any one else. read more

Took my car here and all I needed was the splash guard put on , well the guard I bought was NOT a good fit so they just put my old one back on not too mention it didn't need to be replaced it was the back one. So I went to pick my car up and on the receipt it stated that they did an install which they did NOT all they did was put my old one back on . They don't try and up sell, they don't talk down to me because I'm a woman who has limited car knowledge, they aren't out to nickel and dime me. They are polite, trustworthy, and so efficient! The guys at the front desk are truly awesome. I got new tires at NTB so I have free tire rotations and every time I take my car there, they try selling me on other maintenance things my car "needs." I always inform them that I'll have my trusty mechanic at Carrollton Complete take a look. Last time I was at NTB I was told I needed a new battery and new shocks. Asked these guys at Carrollton Complete to take a look - battery and shocks were fine. Don't waste your time with the other mechanics that just want your money. I have a car that I don't really drive and honestly hadn't kept up with the maintenance on for about a year. They were super helpful with helping me get it towed there and looking at it. The turn around was quick (less than one day) and I had it back and it was ready to drive. They also had very reasonable costs and really could have taken advantage of me if they wanted. I think it was fairly obvious that I didn't know what I needed but they were very honest and did not tack on a bunch of extras. I was nervous because I've had a few bad experiences with automotive shops before and didn't want to be taken advantage of. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint! Charles was very helpful, listened to me explain what was going on, worked with me on a timeline, as I needed to leave back to home soon, kept me updated and once they found out what was going on, took the time to explain to me what was wrong and what they needed to do to fix it. Their prices were fair and they didn't try to sell me on anything extra than what was needed. This is my first review and I'm making it a good one. This company will continue to keep my business for years. I had a check engine light come on and autozone told me it was probably a timing belt. However, I brought it here and they ran a diagnostic test and determined it was a valve cover that needed replacement. They told me the price right away and they also looked over my entire car and found a couple more things that needed to be fixed. Unlike other car repair shops, they didn't force it on me. Now for the customer service part of things. What an amazing job. Phil told me right away what would happen and how much it would cost. He also told me he would be taking care of me the entire service. He was the one calling me and telling me details about my car. One point of contact was perfect for me. I can not give enough praise to Cesar at Carrollton Complete Automotive..we took our vehicle to a new repair shop here in Carrollton for over heating and they wanted us to replace the engine (nearly $8k). My husband didn't agree and had it towed to Carrollton Complete Automotive. Cesar could not understand why the other place was telling us we needed a new engine and couldn't find the same issue.
