Terrific! I had my car serviced for 3 years at another Firestone location, then I moved. My past service records somehow got messed up and went missing from the system, including my warranties. The guys at the Tigard location worked hard to get that all fixed and gave me hard copies of my old paperwork. Their attention to safety during the pandemic is also excellent. The front desk personnel says they can do the work but they don't have the man power to accomplish the work. Then schedule me to have the work done on the weekend but never got authorization to do the work from the fleet. Today was a disappointing visit in some respects. Greg wrote me in, but his front desk assistant spoke with me afterwards, oil change and new tires. He said I needed new shocks and struts, vehicles only have one or the other, and not both. He said I had warped rear brake rotors; he didn't offer to show me, but he asked if I wanted them replaced. I told him I feel no shimmy that would indicate warped rotors. He said I would feel it in the seat... What?? Greg's assistant also told me road hazard warranty does NOT include running over something and getting a blowout. Greg closed out my purchase, questioned why I didn't get road hazard warranty this time, and told me sure it covers running over something and getting a blowout, so I did purchase the coverage, thank you, Greg. Greg, your livelihood is being destroyed at the Tigard store. Firestone, please send out a mystery shopper to validate my words. Greg deserves qualified assistants. read more

My wife took her Toyota 4 runner in for new tires they took the front tires off thinking they had the tires in Stock but we're out they had to order them .So they told my wife to come back the next day. My wife picked up the car and drove to Washington Mall and back. When she finally decided to drive home she backed out of the parking lot and the front tire fell off it helps when you put lug nuts back on Bottom line never never take your car to Firestone. I came in on Memorial Day with a dead battery. I had bought one across the street at Auto Zone but unfortunately they said it was too complicated to remove the old one, and I started to panic. I went over to Firestone, hoping it wouldn't take too long or be too expensive. Greg took a look right away, grabbed a tool, and removed it in less than 5 minutes, free of charge! It's Sunday, it's late and it's a hot day. Everyone has been working hard and so when I got there they didn't have to fix my trailer tire but they did. What they didn't know was that my wife was with the horse trailer that had three show horses inside. The tire had a broken valve stem that leaked air so we put the spare on and 70 miles later the spare blew and was shredded. Now we don't have a second spare so Without the excellent service of the great people at this store we could have been stranded with three hot and tired horses. Went to this place because they were a preferred installer for a set of tires I purchased online. No problem with that except they pressured me into a alignment. At that point I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Then they performed their free brake inspection on that vehicle and since I was already meeting my wife there I had them look at her brakes as well. They told me between the two vehicles I needed over $1900 worth of brake repairs including a laundry list of things. I told them no thanks and that this was too expensive. So as I waited for them to finish up with our vehicles the service guy kept throwing out lower prices to me trying to get me to agree to the additional repairs. It was a very used car price haggling method that I don't appreciate at a repair place. Not only this but upon returning home I noticed they didn't even shut the hood on my wife's car completely. Repairs should cost labor and parts. There shouldn't be haggling. Makes feel like their free inspection was maybe a ruse to charge me gratuitously. Follow up: A week later I went to Brake Team in Beaverton and It turns out u actually did need some things but the total was only $650 with no hard sell. So basically they tried to rip me off for $1300. Avoid at all costs. read more

Let me highly warn the people of Tigard and the surrounding area of these scam artists. So little does this place know I own a 5 STAR AAA Smog, Repair and Registration shop down south which I recently sold after 10 years. We strived in being honest and very good act actual diagnostics not reading only fault codes turning your check engine light on and saying "we have to repair what the fault codes say" hahahaha any REAL technician knows that one issue can cause multiple fault codes to store in your vehicles computer system or ECU/PCM. Myself and my team are educated and take annual tests ASEs to prove we know how to really diagnose and repair a problem not just overcharge people for fast easy work. So I called firestone Tigard yesterday at 845am to drop my car for brakes and front bearings but told them to call me ASAP with the quote first. I know better then to just drop my car and leave lol getting the phone call later "Oh my gosh you are lucky to be alive driving this car the way it is!" Hahaha Called again 11am ?????? Oh give me 30 min Today someone finally calls at 1155pm -ok you want a quote???? Ya what is it What do you need done What are you serious brakes and rotors all around and front hub bearings call me when you have it Calls back and mumbles it's $2624 I said I'm sorry you mumbled what!!!!???? I started laughing and said how can you guys ever charge somebody that. Let me go over the invoice while driving with you don't worry I will be within $200 accuracy from experience. Ready Scooter get a pen. Firestone mainly buys foreign parts from China so Autozone, Oreillys etc. (Cheap) but Autozone offers lifetime warranties so it's a good selling point for Firestone to sell to their customers. Firestone offers 1 year warranty with those parts which honestly is fair so..... Front rotors and pads autozone has $100 your cost (mechanic shop cost) $150-$160 customer cost depending on markup Rear rotors and pads the same price as fronts maybe a little difference of $20 +\- Labor in front is an hour and removing the hub should be no more then 0.5 of an hour so 1.5 total because you have to take the brakes off anyways so removing hub is literally 4 more bolts 15mm. Rear labor one hour for brakes Bearings $20 your cost maybe $45 my cost Labor 1.3 hours each to press new bearings in hub assembly Parts about $500 Labor at $120 hour 5.1 hours is $612 Your quote to me should be around $1120 Where on earth do you even get $2624??????? I did this quote in the car driving making deliveries come on guys! "Well that is what it comes out to sir"......... I called my guys at my shop in Whittier laughing and one of my techs laughed and said let me write up a quote in Mitchell which is a major database this industry uses for accurate labor times which legally should never be changed unless you charge $5000 an hour like these guys apparently do hahaha So my guys text me.....with Autozone parts to be fair to Firestone $875..........hahahaha Stay far far far far far far away from this shop please believe a guy who has been in the industry. This place should be investigated by the Bureau of Automotive Repair for sure. Since living here for 8 months and trying many shops for my delivery company vehicles. If you live in this Tigard area Advanced Automotive 9660 SW Tualatin Sherwood Rd 97062 These guys are very honest and actually are certified. They know how to diagnose and charge for it which they should (stay away from free diagnosis it's a scam!) Real diagnosis = time and education to save the customer money from mechanics guessing out of frustration of not really knowing charging to replace everything it "could be". Sorry for long post but this Firestone needs to be put public on how they horribly take advantage of people. This "repair shop" helps increase people's mistrust in the automotive industry. It is a mistake to take your vehicle here. Took my Ford Expedition into these guys for a tune up. That's 8 Spark plugs. No Diagnostic, No spark plug wire check. Change spark plugs. $400. I could have the spark plugs changed for another $230.00, or add on a fuel filter for another $100.00. $50.00 per plug and 3.2 hours to do the job which actually took 2 to complete. the vehicle was test drove, I was given the keys, I started the vehicle, depressed the accelerator and there was a miss in the engine the mechanic should have felt. After Meineke on Pacific Hwy in Tigard, OR tried to screw me out of $900 for front and rear rotors and brake pads I knew I didn't need, I took my Yukon to Firestone for a second opinion. Greg and Jon at Firestone inspected my brakes for free and told me that my brakes and rotors were just fine. I took my 2009 Dodge Ram in today for a serious leak in my tire that I had just aquired this morning and a tire rotation... services I should get for free since I bought my tires there. At approx. 10:30am After checking in, the gentleman asked if I'd like to drop off the truck or wait? I told him I would just leave it with them and return to work. I would be back to pick it up around 3pm when I got off work. I then called Firestone around 1:30pm to remind them I was going to be there around 3pm and at this point I was told my truck would not be finished until 6pm! I told them that doesn't work for me, I dropped the truck off 3 hours prior and why did the gentleman who checked me in ask me if I'd like to wait there for my truck, surely he didn't think I would sit in the Firestone waiting room for 7.5 hours. I asked to speak with the supervisor and was put on hold, a couple minutes goes by and someone takes me off of hold and tells me the supervisor was busy but that they were pulling my truck around right now and it would be ready by 3pm. I go to pick up the truck around 3:15 today and was told the tire leak is fixed, it was a valve stem, but since their printer wasn't working it would be no charge because they can't print me a receipt. I then went to my truck, started it and the low tire pressure light was on, I took my tire pressure gauge to check the tires and the tire they supposedly fixed was at 10psi. I feel like I was pushed out because I wanted a free tire rotation done, a tire rotation I deserved because I bought my tires from them. I can assure you I will never go to any Firestone again. I will not give them my business and I will share my experience with as many people as I possibly can. read more

Convenient hours. Only tire store I found open on a Sunday! I got a flat tire the night before and they were able to accommodate me. Service was a bit slow but so worth the wait. I felt bad because they seemed a little under staff and were very busy. I was able to walk around the shopping center and get my lunch so it worked out well. Dave was the person up front and he was so nice. They even gave me a discount because I had to wait. I wasn't even expecting that because I knew they were slammed that day. It was so nice of him to do that and I will definitely go back to Firestone because of their convenient hours and their customer service. They made my wait so worth it. read more

I went in with a problem it seemed like no one could fix with my electrical system. The guys here ran a diagnostic test (which others had done) and somehow found the problem (which no one else could figure out) was a few loose wires. They patched up the wires and only charged me for the diagnostics test. The staff was excellent, calling out Greg in particular, and the process didn't take to long. Since it was a electrical issue I was expecting them to take all day but they had it fixed in about 2 and a half hours (that's really good if you know know how much a pain electronics can be). I will recommend these guys to everyone and I'll definitely be back here for all my vehicle services. Thanks Firestone! read more

My car stopped running on Saturday night passing through this area. So I brought my car in on Sunday morning, the only auto repair shop that was open. Front desk dude, not naming him, he was nice. He quoted me for a AC service for little over $998 to get it fix. Not knowing YET that it was just my AC belt broken. I said sure ok I have a car warranty, you can contact them to see the cost to fix the problem on Monday with little no money out of my pocket. So my car would have stayed all day Sunday. I would have had to rent a car for a couple of days when my car is in the shop. Before I was getting ready to leave to start my day. He came back and say hey your car can run but it's just your AC belt that has been broken. It's drivable but you won't have AC blowing cold. I repeated three times to make sure i heard that right. It's drivable? Yes it is. I said sweet thinking I don't have to rent a car and spend $998 out my savings to fix this problem. After all this. AFTER I mention that I have a car warranty to get my car fix. I would have paid $998 to have it fix over an AC belt that won't blow cold. read more

Took a flat tire here on a Sunday the day before Christmas Eve because no tire shops were open in my town, people seemed pretty nice dropped off my tire they said it would be 30 to patch it up if it would be fixable, mind I did a quick look at the tire didn't see a nail or anything, got a call 15 mins later saying there was a screw in the side wall and it wouldn't be repairable and a new tire would be 150$, I almost caved and got the tire but I thought about it and I feel I would have noticed a screw in the side wall so I just said I'll come pick it up, when I got there they had circled where the screw was after they removed it and it was NOT in the side wall at all!! I was pretty confused so I took the tire to Les schwab the next day and they had it patched up in 30 mins for FREE. They LIED About where the screw was and it was completely fixable but they wanted to sell a 150 dollar tire instead of a 30 dollar job. Like I said people seemed nice but tried to SCAM me out of 150 dollars. Wouldn't go back here for anything and would strongly recommend to anyone DONT COME HERE STRAIGHT LIED AND TRIED TO SCAM MORE MONEY OUT OF ME. read more

My overall experience with Firestone was terrible. My car had a leak under my pedals I read online that it could be leaves that clog the drain so water finds a different way to escape. So I gave them (firestone) a call , the employee told me to bring my car in and we can take a look. I went in that day and the guy that helped me let me know that I would not be able to have my car checked that day but that they could set an appointment. We proceed to make an appointment for that following Wednesday. Wednesday comes I take my car in, I let them know my name and that I had an appointment. They can not find my name and asked if I was sure I had an appointment for that day to which I replied yes. The women that helped me told me that I was not on the schedule long story short it was under a different name but had the rest of my information to go along with it. I was told that I can pick it up later in the day or leave it over night in the shop, in which I picked the overnight stay. Thursday morning I go to pick up my car. It was outside I got the keys and went to my car and as I open the door I see a deep brown colored puddle all on the left side of my car in the front and back seat floor! A puddle that has never been that big in size it took about 15 min to take all the water out of my car when I got home. Needless to say firestone did something unknown to my car that caused that huge puddle. I will never in my life take any car or recommend this place to anyone! The guy at the front Elliot was extremely helpful. took a lil less than how long they said it would be which was cool! but it wasnt fixed ? started making a wierd sound one it wasnt making before so took it back in saturday after work...Still not fixed!!! so had to come back AGAIN! this was twice i had to come back because it wasnt done good the first time...Elliot once again was extremely helpful and did everything he could do but that doesnt fall for the people in the back working on my car. Supervisor (Greg) started off helping my wife and I with getting everything setup for a maintenance check, tires replacement and alignment. Everything was perfectly fine but when we came back to pickup the car, the supervisor had left for the day and we were assisted by another worker named David (From San Bernardino, CA - said on his name tag). David explained the maintenance check and everything they'd found but when the car was returned to us, there had been no fixtures to the steering fluid (which was marked down on the maintenance check as - empty) and our left blinker which was out before bringing the car in, was still not working. On the maintenance check, it was checked off as being okay and not needing any repairs, which obviously showed that it wasn't checked in the "maintenance check". So when I noticed the blinker still being out, I told David that it wasn't working and he then proceeded to check it himself with the blinker handle in the car and then said that his maintenance person must've missed it. Now anyone who's ever gone into firestone and seen the boards behind the register, under the "maintenance check" it lists everything that's involved in the check and underneath the listing in small print, it states that anything that isn't fixed, is free. Those aren't the exact words, but something along those lines. When I asked David if the replacement is now free because that's what it said in the store, he then tells me that it sounds like I'm trying to get something free when I just paid $664 for the cars maintenance check, 4 tires and alignment. He continues to argue the fact that his maintenance workers are just human and make mistakes but my problem is that this is what I paid for and it wasn't done the right way and according to what it says on their board, if it's not fixed right then it's free. David continued to argue his side of the story and wouldn't consider any kind of alternatives to have this repair fixed. He said that the part costs $15 and that the statement in the store meant that if they repaired it and it breaks on the road, THEN it'll be repaired free. That was his definition of the statement that was in the store. So I told him you know what, that's fine, I'll fix it. So I asked for advice as to how I should approach fixing the bulb myself and he says, "YouTube." Haha I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing so David, if you're reading this, I'll be sure to leave a good word with your advisor (Greg) who helped me earlier in the afternoon, about your customer service skills. read more

First and foremost, when my alternator started to go, I knew I barely had time to get to Firestone before my car died in the middle of the highway...I called Dave and...store manager Greg, who told me they were busy, but that they'd drop everything to help me. I limped into their parking lot and almost immediately, my car was in a bay. It was obvious that the alternator wasn't charging--within minutes, they were on the phone (late in the afternoon) looking for a part, calling me a rental car, giving me a repair timeline, and quoting me a price. My car was done in less than 24 hours--it would have been done the same day if they hadn't had to go hunting for the part so late in the afternoon. (Still shocked they found one so fast!) When I returned, and mentioned to them that the rental car experience (not at ALL Firestone's fault!) was rather...odd...they IMMEDIATELY called Enterprise and let them know how disappointed they were that a Firestone customer was treated so poorly. I was in shock that they stood up for me like that. David and Greg went the extra mile to let me know that I am a valued customer. They always do, but this time, they made a point to really take care of me. They have me as a customer for life. read more

Im not confident in their knowledge of how to repair a vehicle... It took them 6.5 hours to install shocks and struts. They ordered the wrong part and then had to get a new part for my car because they needed to add a special adapter to my Kia. They also misquoted me in the price of the service by $130.00. If you are female you might get hit on too... The other issue I had was with one of their male service managers Herman calling me darling,sweetie, honey,and babe... also he bad mouthed a few other mechanics. Overall the man was not professional and a creep. In summary, go elsewhere. read more

After the 3 hours asked the front desk guy to check on my car and he said it would be 30 minutes longer...got the car back at 1 pm....5 hours later.
