Would rate zero stars if possible!! This was the worst experience I've had at a tire repair shop. I came in for a very simple tire patch repair and even brought the wheel in already removed from the vehicle to make the job easier. After waiting an hour and a half, I checked on the progress and saw the tire hadn't even been touched. When I asked what was going on, they made up an excuse that "the tire thread was too little" when they are racing tires with a thread wear of 100. That's something they could have told me immediately instead of letting me sit there for no reason. On top of the wasted time, I watched several concerning safety issues in the shop. Their lifting practices were careless, and at one point they had a mustang tilted sideways on the alignment rack. The entire experience showed a lack of communication, professionalism, and basic shop safety. I wouldn't trust them with any repairs after this, should've left much sooner. read more

The office techs acted like they didn't want to help at all!! Had an appointment to replace the headlights in our 2016 Honda Civic and gave us a quote of $1411 for the replacement. Called Honda dealership instead and they're helping us out for 1/3 of the price. As stated before, they just didn't want the business so must be nice to be that busy!! I previously got the front passenger tired replaced with them and it was an excellent experience. Fast forward..my back passenger tire has a nail in it and I went to them to ask them to patch it. Since I had such great customer service. $31 to patch a tire because it wasn't their tire they fixed the first time?? The back tires came when the car since it's a new car so I had no idea where those tires came from. Absolutely ridiculous.. currently at Les Schwab that will do it for free. Made an appointment, and still had a 3 hour wait for just a tire alignment. Kept saying "it's almost done" for the second 1.5 hours of the wait. It was 100 degrees outside and there was no AC running, the bathroom was disgusting, waiting room was packed with not enough seats, and no water except a small communal fountain that barely worked. I got my car fixed here early May and within that week or two I notice when I pick up my speed it kind of slows down then goes. I went in because I couldn't go past 40 and my engine was shaking. I called to see if they can take a look at it and this female answered she was rude it's like she got upset that I told her if they can look at. She discouraged me from going in and made it seem like they're booked out for months. I'll never go back to them and sadly my car was never checked for what I told that lady. Had a flat on the freeway heading home from out of town around 3pm on a Saturday. Pulled over and AAA was able to come out and put on my spare. ALL tire locations in Tracy, CA were closed at 5pm but this one!! Thank goodness!!!! AAA was able to come and I was on my way by 5:15pm and this tire shop was about 3.5 miles from where I pulled over. SO THANKFUL they were open til 6pm. PJ was so nice and quickly checked my tire to see if it was patchable. The hole looked pretty big but the team here were great! They were able to patch it and put it back on my car! I was on my way a half hour later feeling safe not having to drive on a donut another 100 miles to get home. Hands down dependable, professional, and hard/fast workers! They aren't honest at all, I heard my brakes so I took them in to get checked, they said all my brakes were a 2/3 and needed replacement so I let them do the front only, and got charged $800 for the front ALONE.... Mind you I called in a week before and got quoted $800 for all four, so today I go to do my Rear brakes and the 3 for the rear was a joke, my brakes had half the pad left on it yet they told me the rear was almost scraping metal metal which is why they put it at a 2/3.. I was passing through Tracy when I started hearing an unsettling noise from my vehicle. I pulled over and noticed that there was a metal (drip tray) hanging from under my front bumper. I googled a shop nearby and came across this gem, glad it was open on a Sunday! I stopped by and explained to the lovely ladies at the front desk what happened. They were able to immediately get me in and fix the issue within less than 30 minutes. The mechanic explained what he did and how to prevent it from occurring again. I'm an anxious person, and every employee I came across was reassuring and explained to me what was going on. We had our brakes and rotors replaced at Tracy Firestone recently. We have had nothing but PROBLEMS with everything they 'repaired' and 'inspecited' but didn't repair ever since. I've been to Firestone before for another large repair that went wrong. I was hoping that after 6 years the staff would change and the work would improve. I was horribly wrong. I had an appointment at 1200PM for a break inspection. I get a call at 2 pm and approve breaks to get done. 5:40PM comes around and I get a phone call saying they are almost finished but have to keep it overnight. It will be done first thing in the morning. I don't care, this is expected with vehicle maintenance, and I actually prepared to pick it up the next day. They open at 0900, I call them at 11 am because if anything I thought they would need some extra time in the morning. I was told it would be done late afternoon. I asked for a specific time and the gentleman told me that it actually hasn't been started and can cancel the order if I needed the vehicle. They have had it for 23 hours at this point and haven't done any bit of work on it. The positive was that they didn't charge for the $10 inspection. I was honestly surprised I couldn't get brakes done in less that 24 hours! I hope things change. read more

Walked in on a Sunday to get an alignment as I purchased the lifetime alignment & wheel check diagnosis (we did have an appointment because we know this place can be busy!! Like expect hours wait at any firestone location. They're just THAT good!) anyways, I noticed as I'd accelerate my wheel would get dangerously shakey! Our appointment was at 10am, we arrived around 9:45am. The guy immediately set us up. Told us they should be done in about 1.5hrs but expect possibly a 2 hr wait. We figured, so we came prepared and walked around, got some breakfast, picked up some Mexican bread from a market. By the time we got back they were driving the car out. Perfect timing! Alignment went well. Turns out the shaking was the wheel.. apparently one of us either my fiancée or I went over a pothole. My fiancée swears it was me and Firestone won't replace just 1 audi tire I guess? At least that's what the guy told me? Which made zero sense... It's either change all 4 tires or none. So that was sketch. We ended up going up the street to a used tire place (which I DO NOT RECOMMEND.) because it lasted 2 weeks and then kept getting a flat. So I have yet to find a decent used tire place to get a new tire. Overall pleased with all the guys over at Firestone! They know what they're doing & do a good job of it. read more

had a real positive experience with both Danny, Eliza, and Robert; very personable despite being a national franchise. This was important because these good folks that took care of me as a new customer moving into the area. The facility is well equipped to handle euro cars which is what I have. Most wheel works/firestone don't carry proper alignment tools for Mercedes and BMWs which makes it a pain if you utilize their lifetime alignment service and having to bounce to a different shop that has it. had my wife's 2013 GLK 350 tires mounted, balanced, aligned, battery replaced within 1.5 hours per my appointment time. This one is going to be my one stop shop for my home family fleet. Tip for customers: schedule times during the weekday (not weekend) if you want to make sure they get the job done on schedule. being a car guy myself, unexpected crap happens when your in the auto repair biz which impacts everyone else in line. read more

*Sigh* this would have been a higher score because my first encounter was so great but today took all that away. So let me start with Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Seemed like I was having battery issues. Came in Danny checked the battery and found there was. Boom! Done within 10 minutes and ready to go. Also lowered priced battery than what I was going to spend at Autozone or O'Reillys. (My car is a 2018 so Walmart batteries don't work). I then scheduled an appointment to have my oil change and a full inspection done because my car has been acting weird. He set me for 10 am Sunday, September 27, 2020. Here's the bad... today I drop my car off at 9:50 am. 12:30 pm hits and I'm wondering what's going on with my car because I know an oil change and inspection shouldn't take so long so I call. Turns out they hadn't even touched my car. The lady on the phone said she told the guy and he was going to do it, "right quick" for her. I told her I didn't need him to do it "right quick" and to make sure he was not doing my car in a hurry. I asked to speak to the supervisor, then comes Robert.... Robert got on the phone so apologetic, offered a discount for the long wait etc. Apologized for not reaching out to let me know anything blah blah blah. I said okay I just want my car to be serviced properly. I had an appointment elsewhere at 1:30 pm so I said forget it and canceled that appointment. 2 pm hits and no call. Finally at 2:21 pm (Almost 4 1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment I get the call. Here's where it gets worse.. I go in and Robert assisted me. Yay! Right?! Wrong, I guess he didn't expect me to look the way I did because he acted very surprised when I said which car was mine. Then proceeded to charge me the full price after offering a discount for the long wait. I didn't ask for it because I feel you do what you say and not offer things you don't have control to offer. Then as we were still mid transaction this other lady comes up and says she was approved for the credit card. He then starts talking about her tires with her. Mind you, I'm still mid transaction and have questions but he was no longer concerned with me. I even had to ask where my car was and he told me, "somewhere in our parking lot" I didn't know their lot was on the other side of the building and why would he assist me anymore I wasn't getting a credit card and wasn't paying anything extra. Also with how surprised he was when I said who I was I don't think he was expecting my skin tone either. But hey, don't want to base judgements on someone not knowing why they were so surprised when they saw me in person versus speaking to me over the phone. Anyway, this experience made it so I will not come back. You guys just lost 2 customers. read more

Stopped at this location once; over quoted and they offered to under-deliver. Was not impressed and I feel as if there's some funny business going on there. In my experience and opinion, it seemed SUPER sketchy. Alas - just this past week - a friend takes his new corvette there. They "lost" or misplaced (read: stole) the red caliper covers off his corvette. Of course, it was categorically denied. This instance coupled with the bizarre, sketchy behavior of the staff when I made the mistake of stopping there once leads me to believe they are SHADY. I'm encouraging my friend to write their corporate and file a police report with Tracy PD. Living in the area, the location of this shop made it my first stop when getting auto work done in the past and I had no complaints about the mechanic work. However recently their customer service has taken a severe noise dive, I was recently told that a standard service of transmission fluid change is not something they offer. It would be one thing if this were simply a miss-communication but when I asked the employee that answered the phone to clarify, they re-stated the incorrect claim in an exasperated tone, as if it was their time being wasted. Be careful when you bring your car here for any kind of services. I took my car for an alignment & I sat there watching "technician" supposed doing the alignment. Long story short he never did it! As I looked at the report & talked to the manager Danny questioning him about the report. As we looked at the report & I questioned him is there something technician did already, he told me nothing is being done. I questioned him about the "toe" which is adjustable & he told me it is ok. After the inspection is done, they didn't put my tires back and asked to pay $10 inspection fee. Firestone service is Absolutely Horrible called to make an appointment they said I could bring it in, came in at 11am due a tire leak as well as a rotation on my tires I just bought from them last year. At 3:50 I missed a call from Firestone at 4:15 I call them back and was told they couldn't do the rotation because I bought the tires last year and they couldn't fix the leak but I can buy a new tire. What BS is that. What cheap tires did you sale me last year for all 4 of them to be worn out in a year. Even if I didn't get the tires rotated in a year all 4 tires are worn and then you don't even try to plug the leak. The Worst part about the No Service I didn't receive was my Car sat there from 11:00 to 4:15pm with NO SERVICE Beyond pissed!!!! read more

Took our super-crew F-150 ford in mind you this is a four door truck that is more like a passage car. We took it in to have tires balanced so they called and we picked it up. It happens to be one of a few 2nd cars so a week and a half later I get a call from my wife saying it's shaking still and she is panicking because we took it in to Firestone to balance the tire so she is thinking it a major problem. I told her to take it home and I will look at it. So get home and I look at the front see new weights and look in the back and there are no new weights mind you we had them rotated and balanced. So I took it to work dropped off at les swab ask them to balance tires. They called when done and they asked if it shakes and said yes as a matter of fact they said the back tires were over a Oz. Out of balance... Firestone needs to update there policy back in the 70's it was common practice not to balance rear tires on single cab long bed trucks. But now we have 4 door trucks that are more passenger cars which back tires need to be balanced and Ford recommends them to be balanced. Or Firestone should ask the customer and give you an option to balance the rear. Just food from r thought.. read more
