Pretty good! I had a need for an emergency tire replacement on a road trip, and the staff got me in and out in just under 2 hours. My one issue was that they were having a big sale event happening where I was just under the threshold to save $100, but the employee didn't notify me of this until after my services were completed and I had paid. That being said, they did offer a variety of free food and drinks for free (for the event) which was very nice. I went in to get my oil checked and Shawn took me immediately, checked my oil and informed me that there was an issue with my oil burning. He put 3 quarts of oil in my car and rotated my tires at no charge. He also informed me that there was a recall on Hyundai engines that are causing this issue, so thanks to Shawn I caught the problem before my engine locked and made an appt with Ed Voyles Hyundai. I came in to get my tire patched because a screw was in the tire. The "boss" stated that he does not recommend patching M/T 2 tires. He stated that he drives around with a nail in his tire but could not show it to me when he was trying to prove his point. They didn't want to service me since I bought the tires at another Firestone location. The lady at the desk laughed at me because she stated the "boss" could afford all the tires. I waited for 2 hours just for them to tell me nothing was wrong with my car and then they took an additional 15 min to back my car out of the bay once they told me nothing was wrong with my headlights. Date of horrible service 12-01-2023. I will never come to this Firestone in Union City GA ever again. My recommendation is to demolish this firestone and rebuild a chick-fil-a. I have top of the line Firestone tires on my car and paid extra for the warranty. Therefore, when my tire went flat I came here. I arrived at 11a was told my flat tire could not be looked at for 2 hrs. 2.5 hrs later I called they still had not looked. I was told I was next and he'd call right back. 30 minutes later I called again he said oh they just got to your tire. Ill call u right back and let u know if we can fix it or u need a new tire. 30 minutes later he hadn't called so I drive up there to find out "oh it's a hole that we can't fix you need a new tire and we can't get u one until tomorrow." Don't run- SPRINT in the other direction! My check engine light came on so I brought it in for service. The total bill was over $3K. Once I reviewed everything with the manager, he advised the only additional services needed outside of the engine work were the tire package and a small bulb which I declined. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick up my vehicle and the check engine light was still on and the car idled roughly as it did when I dropped it off. They kept the car again overnight only to call me in the morning telling me the technician stated that my car ran roughly because I'd 'declined the additional services'. So you're telling me a light bulb and tires are connected to the engine? I called customer service who contacted the store manager who stated there was nothing he could do because I'd declined the additional services. My complaint has since been forwarded to corporate, the area manager, and the president of the company because none of this makes sense. Even the manager of customer service agreed with me. I have several invoices to confirm that I didn't decline any of the necessary work needed to repair my vehicle. They LIED to cover their mistake. Clearly, the technicians on staff aren't qualified to do labor intensive work so they get away with stuff by lying on the customer. Thankfully, I have my invoices and other documentation to support my complaint. I will be pursuing further action because this is fraudulent. I'll never patronize Firestone again. read more

This is my 2nd time here in less than a week. I originally brought my car in to be serviced because it began shaking/sputtering and the check engine light came on. After paying $109 to have a diagnostic test done, I was told one of my spark plugs needed to be replaced. However, it would be better to replace all 4 at the same time to prevent possible problems in the near future. So over $1100 later, drove off with 4 new spark plugs. Fast forward to 6 days later, I'm driving and the car starts shaking/sputtering and the check engine light comes on. Thank God I wasn't on 285 yet, cause I had to bust a u-turn and come back here for them to figure out what's going on and why my car is still doing the same thing. 2 hours in and I'm still waiting on that answer........Next time I'm going to the dealership! Firestone is only good for tires..... UPDATE: Today is Saturday, 01/16 and its day #2 of attempting to get my car fixed. I stayed here for almost 6 hours yesterday and ended up having to leave my car here overnight and call someone to pick me up! I was told the problem now is an injector coil. It took them 5 hours of me sitting here to locate the part. He drove an hour away to pick up the part....wait for it.... It was the wrong part and ended up needing to order the correct one! Fast forward to now, we called and spoke with the same person and told us they received the part and have put it on the car. They were now running a courtesy compression check to make sure this problem didn't happen again in the near future. I just got dropped off up here (2:30pm), ready to pick up my car I've been without for almost 2 days, and.....wait for it.... it's not ready! They're still working on it! They guy has now gone somewhere to pick up another part that is needed. Something we didn't know about, so I'm still waiting and my car is not ready! I'm beyond pissed.... He was courteous, friendly and he didn't rush me. He took his time being that I came in right before closing! I have used Firestone faithfully for years, but this location is terrible. After relocating to the area, I took my car in for an oil change and inspection. I always ask what the expected wait time is so I can arrange someone to pick me up if necessary. I was told it wouldn't take long and he estimated about an hour and a half. I opted to wait. 2 hours later, I was told I need a sensor for one of the tires. I was then told it would take no more than 45 minutes. I didn't leave for another two hours, an hour of which the ENTIRE staff stopped to search for a customer's lost key that was finally discovered in one of the mechanic's pocket. I had to speak to one of their employees to push the service along to completion. Except it wasn't complete. I had to return a few weeks later because they didn't reset the codes for the tire sensor. This resulted in another terrible experience. First, they seemed confused about why I was there. He attempted to order and charge me for another sensor and argued that all I replaced was the stem. I had to point out the sensor on his computer screen, which was the line item directly above. They finally admitted their error and completed the service. I also mentioned to him that Service Engine light came on shortly after the oil change and asked that they just confirm that everything was connected properly since he rushed the ending of my initial service. He told me they would have to charge me to check and that he was certain that it wasn't due to the oil change. My only question was, "how do you know?" I will never go back to this location and I'm considering not returning to Firestone. read more

The freaking WORST! I had an appt for 3/23/17 @ 4:00pm for 4 new tires and alignment. Got there and dropped the car off only for them to call me an hour later to say they didn't have the tires and the price was changing from $5** to $6**. Okay, fine go ahead. Got off the phone only to get another call saying the price was changing again to $7**. What the hell. So we declined that and agreed to go get the car. We get up there and they say the tires wont be here until tomorrow which is today 3/24/17. So we were like fine, my bf would drop the car off in the morning before work, which was like 4:30am. They let us know it would be done by the time he got off which was 3:00PM. He even called to make sure on his lunch break at 10:30 am. They lied and said yea it will be ready. He gets off and gets to the car about 3:45pm and they haven't even touched the car! He's ready to leave at this point cuz he has to go pick up our son from school, they agreed to take him to get him because they are about to start the car. All he had time for was tires and installation. The car had been sitting up there for 8 hours and not done. Everyone up there is full of it and try to fast talk everything. We will definitely not be returning and will be getting our alignment elsewhere. If we didn't need the tires then we would've have just went to NTB. Next time we will. read more

After telling me my service would only take 20 minutes and telling me my car was "about to be pulled inside" (Lie #1)...I sat for 1.5 hrs and something told me to look- my car was NEVER moved from its spot. The punchline before I even got the service, is the FULL discussion I had with Emmanuel C about needing to leave by a certain time and whether he knew the length of time of the procedure so I can make an INFORMED decision to stay or not. He assured me that i would be done within 2 hours for sure. NOT‼ at 1.5 hrs and a lie, he says: Oh- they're moving u in now and it should take 20 minutes. 20 minutes turned into 45 MORE minutes AND I was late for my next appointment. Punchline #2: MY CAR WAS WORSE THAN WHEN I CAME!!! so- guess who missed her son's FIRST game because she had to return to the SAME PLACE for it to be corrected?? Yep! Oh- and please do not believe I was given ANY courtesy of being seen right away. At this point, it's 4:45pm and they close at 6pm. They made me wait and it's now 6:50pm...oh and now, I have a new diagnosis...another procedure that needs to happen to "cure" the issue...here's a question: WHYYY did they tell me they test drove it earlier, and if that's true- wouldn't they have found this issue then? THE BEST PART - the young Manager, Marquis, saves the day with his upbeat mood and his ability to calm the storm. He remedied the issue, apologized, and comped the "new" service. The store manager was very unprofessional and rude. From the time I walked through the front door, he was very discourteous and condescending. Not once, did I give him any reason to speak to me in such manner. I've been in the hospitality/customer service industry for over 18 years, and this is definitely not how you treat customers. Especially those that have been loyal to the company. Any "store manager" should know that. I decided not to receive service at this location. Well a dealership were going to be the last place I was going to make such purchase so I went to the Firestone place where I used to take my previous vehicle to see if they had any Labor Day specials going on. The rep walked outside with me to look at the tires and explained that while he could start to see a tad bit of wear on the front tires, he couldn't in good conscience lead me to spend my money quite yet. The manager sent a driver to get 4 from one store and he went to another store himself to get the other 2. It took the service person 5 minutes to find the appointment in the system; Car on rack approximately 4:00; Informed that I need new water pump and accessories; I asked if they could complete it today (yesterday) and was told absolutely; Gave consent; Approximately 6:30 I receive word of 1st issue -- need to get another gasket; Approximately 7:30 night manager complains (to me) about day manager and how he should not have accepted car in first place because the job would be too long ("he's a nice guy but he does this all the time") -- as a customer, honestly I DON'T CARE; Approximately 8:00 informed of another problem - also leaking at thermostat housing; Parts store CLOSED; I also overhear that original technician assigned to complete work on car left at 6:00 with car incomplete for another technician to complete; I inform that I have no other transport and last minute notification not acceptable - I need to get home; Technician provides seal around leak and I make plans to have car finished in morning; I am promised that part would be ordered 1st thing in morning and job would take no longer than 30 minutes; provided cost (in writing) that makes no mention of labor cost; I assume labor included as this is completion of job; I pay for work that has been completed (cost includes 5.6% discount for customer satisfaction --- 5.6% Really????) Arrive in morning to find that part not ordered; no idea on how long it will take; technician drives me to work and takes car back; I pick up car at 4:00 (ish) to find bill including parts and labor; I pay and leave. Not acceptable on several levels ... poor communication regarding service and bill; no regard for customer time; customer complained to about internal matters (as if that would appease me); Insulting discount offered and applied; poor communication among staff as to promises offered; etc. etc. etc. I WILL NOT RETURN, AND WILL ACTIVELY DISCOURAGE OTHERS. read more

We discussed which tires would be ideal for my SUV, price and how long it would take for the work to be done. Clarence and his staff exceeded my expectations.
