I went for an oil change and a few days later I realized the oil was leaking, I took it back to them and the lady currently in charge was so rude and claimed she told me I had an engine oil leak whilst I know very well she didn't tell me, she didn't even look at it instead she sent another lady who claimed she checked and told me stories, when I insisted that I need her to close my car so I leave she actually banged my car , they didn't fix nothing instead they blamed it on me. I used to change my oil here but the previous staff members did their jobs well.The current lady there now, she is slowly destroying the business.i don't recommend anyone to go to take 5.who knows what they did to my car. read more

I literally popped in on a humbug. I figured this would be faster than the dealership and it was.... Just pull around and stay in your car....they change your oil and have you in and out. You will probably have to remind them to reset your change oil light but other than that it was a good experience and good value for the money spent as well as a time saver. read more

Just came from there and they had to bays open to service cars and had several workers standing around talking and laughing while they are having a build up of clients. 2 cars went before me in the next lane and we had just been sitting tre. I got out of the car in the rain to ask about how much longer and this lil short man came at me hot and heavy talking the time is the time. You just gotta wait. You can also go some where else. I always come here and the experience is usually good. Unfortunately, today was not the same. I was greeted and offered water as soon as I arrived and told the person I was here for an oil change. After waiting over an hour, it was finally my turn to be serviced only to be told that they didn't have the filter for my car by the same person who greeted me....so why didn't you tell me that when I arrived ? Took 2 different cars there next day oil in my garage they're... there prices are HIGH ...

I am very disappointed with this company; they get no stars as far as I am concerned. My husband and I have been taking our cars there for years and after a recent oil change, he discovered a huge oil leak in the garage, so he took it back to the Union City Take 5 Oil Change location and met with the manager that took accountability for the damage and reassured that they could rethread the oil pan and everything would be good. So, they rethreaded the oil pan and it appeared to be no more leaking from what we could see however we had to take our car into the certified Lexus dealership to have a new battery checked and they also discovered the oil pan was still leaking and advised it to be completely replaced. We spent over $1600 to properly replace the oil pan. My husband went back to Take 5 Oil Change Union City location to request a reimbursement for the damage and the only thing they offered was 5 free oil changes. No why on earth would we trust a company that does not value excellence with their skills, service, nor have a proper plan of action for risk management and ethical recovery for their clients. I actually really liked this place until my most recent oil change. Me and my son brought our vehicles up at the same time and everything was running smooth as usual. At the end of my visit I was sexually harassed by the tech that took my payment asking me to put his number in my phone and asking if I'm happily married and if he took care of me sexually. I told him I was happily married and he kept insisting that I get his number because my husband would never find out. He then proceeded to touch my thigh for some unknown reason which I brushed off immediately. The fact I can't even get an oil change without my husband present is ridiculous. And I think I speak for all women that when we say NO that means NO. The other techs were wonderful the service was wonderful but now I'm not comfortable going back when I really liked the speed and quality of service. Took my cousin car up there today 11/6/2022 got there at 12pm didn't get serviced until 1:38pm. Drove to work, my cousin came to swap out cars with me. He called me 15 minutes later and said the low oil alert was on and his engine had locked up. He was stuck on the side of the road. He stated when he opened the hood there was oil all over the place even under the oil filter. Called Take 5 and the manager said he ran the tape back and his service team did everything they were suppose to do correctly. After I got the oil change I literally drove 35 minutes to work and parked the car until he came and picked it up. The attendant that approached me at the beginning was friendly, funny and courteous he even offered bottled water. When I pulled in for the service they were trying to offer things that I know I didn't need. I thought it would be a cheap oil change but spent almost 90 dollars. One of technicians were super drunk, I saw it for myself and even smelled the alcohol on his breath even with the mask on. I will stick to my dealership for future services instead of going places that "seem" cheaper from what their sign says. read more

I read multiple reviews on multiple websites prior to going to Take 5. I called around 10am Monday to ask about getting an oil change. Take 5 said they stay busy but come on in. Arrived 30 minutes later, drove straight in, talked to the techs while they were working, they were explaining things to me about the services they were doing, they finished up and everything was good. I was in the line for about 20 minutes waiting. They did speaking with me I was supposed to be next. Two vehicles pull up on both sides of me and they started doing the same thing then told them to pull up. I kept blowing and raising up my hands saying I'm just sitting here y'all are going to take them first really!! went for an oil change n they were very nice. after I left I developed quite the oil leak. went through two gallons of oil in less than a month so I took it back suspecting they didn't tighten the oil plug. I was correct. my oil plug was loose so they tightened it. I tipped them for their time n left. got home n n pulled in my driveway n my car made a horrible scraping noise. they had loos remedy the plate under my car. I refuse to take it back for fear of more damage. I do not recommend them. they smile in your face n take your money n laugh at you leave. be careful folks. these kids are not good ones. read more
