Driving home on a Sunday and something didn't seem right. I knew it wasn't good as I was losing power so I knew immediately I needed to take my car in to be looked at. I now know I will never go back to this Firestone again. Like I said I dropped it off on a Sunday and I knew they wouldn't get to it. Totally fine and I understand. Monday is rolling along and I thought I'd call and see where they were at with it. They tell me yep you're next for our tech to look at and then we will get back to you. I don't hear back Monday. Tuesday is rolling along and still don't hear anything so I call again. Same answer. You're next for our tech to look at. I asked if they were sure it would be looked at that day(Tuesday) they told me yes and I requested they call me later that day to give me an update. They said yes, no problem we will let you know later today. They close at 7 and it's past 6 so again I call again. I've learned to never even attempt to call them past 6 even if they are open until 7. No one answers. Wednesday comes and I still don't hear anything. So I call again. Yep tech has it and we will have a quote to you today(Wednesday). 6pm comes and I still haven't heard a thing. So I walk over. They tell me oh yea your catalytic converter needs to be replaced and tells me an insane price to fix it. I took my car and left. 3 full days they had my vehicle and not one single time did they give me an update. I had to call each time or walk over to them to get answers. Plus like I said trying to call after 6 is a complete waste of time. My advice, if you don't know what's wrong with your vehicle and you want them to diagnosis it and give you updates do not go here. Lost my business. Looking at other reviews I see they've always been like this and haven't changed. Great way to run a business. read more

Dropped of my car for an appt and they completely forgot about it. Tried calling multiple times before picking it up and no answer. I get there and the manager is trying to act surprised that everyone forgot about when I had a 10-15 minute long conversation with them about my car while dropping it off. So they had to keep it overnight They said it'll be ready by 9 am, instead got a call at 11 am that it was ready. Love Firestone but not this location. Not to mention the woman checking out next to me, they put the wrong tires on her car and tried double charging her for putting the correct tires on. read more

I highly suggest you NEVER use them. They do not call you to tell you they need the vehicle longer than expected. They then give the car back saying the problem is fixed, when it is in fact, NOT. They do not return phones at the store level all the way up to corporate level. NIGHTMARE dealing with them-because they actually do not deal with the problem or you at all. One word to describe the situation with this place is nightmare! It was a special day and I had my tire light come on. I called them and asked if they had time to help me get back on the road and they said to come in. I was told it was a simple nail in the tire and they had taken care of it. Not long later I'm back on the highway and my light comes on again for the same tire! I call them and was met with nothing but a rude manager who did nothing but talk down to and belittle me. This place is TRASH!!!! I would not bash a business if they're really busy, it's understandable, but this place was not busy. I had an appointment at 10 am, dropped off the car at 9:45 am and told them I was waiting and I'll be around, just give me a call. So I walked over to Lowe's to window shop and kill time. About 1 hour later I come back to the shop and noticed my car was in the same parking spot. Usually when your car gets service, they would park it at a different spot. I thought to myself, " that's amazing the tech remembered where I parked." So I went in and I asked the tech at the counter, "what the status was on my car." The tech said they'll check on it. Tech comes back from the garage and says, "you're next on the list." I said, "you haven't worked in it, I dropped it off at 10 am." The shop has at least 3 open bays with 3 techs standing around 1 car, shooting the shit!!!! The Tech at the counter said, "I didn't know if you were going to wait or drop off." It shouldn't matter if I stay or wait, the shop wasn't busy and I had an appointment. They should be working on my car, it's not busy. What's the point of having an appointment and you not working on it. I just told the tech to give me my keys and left. Thanks for wasting my time!!! We had an issue with our vehicle which was fixed but also had an oil change, oil filter and air filter done. First of all, they had to keep overnight but we were "1st" the next day which we were ok with but had plans later that day and thought we would have the car back in time. If we had been priority like they said....but I had to make "several" status calls throughout the day to check up on the progress. We didn't get the car back till almost closing and the "change oil light was still on" We had also needed the oil changed - I then took to another local shop and it failed emission. Well, since we just had the oil changed at Firestone, they did a completely different job which was not necessary. Come to find out, Firestone never did change the oil or oil filter which they charged $56.44 for new oil and filter. IT WAS NOT DONE!!! When speaking to the front desk, they insisted that it was done-it was not I have pictures of the dirty oil and dirty filter from the shop that corrected our issue. Poor customer service by not communicating and deceiving us that #1, we were a priority and #2 that they did work that they in fact did not, #3 they took our hard earned money. We were given the lecture about staffing issues, I don't need to hear your problems. Don't say what you cannot deliver. We are finished with this place!! read more

I ordered tires from tire rack.com and had them shipped to this store. They arrived around November 16th so I tried to schedule an appointment to have them installed. The soonest this place could get me in was the 29th which I thought was odd considering putting tires on the rims isn't difficult. But I thought whatever I can wait. So on the 29th I have an appointment set for 1pm, which I arrive for on time. My vehicle doesn't even hit a lift until 1:40pm! Why set an appointment for a specific time if they can't meet that dead line? I had to wait in the lobby for it since I only have one vehicle and live fairly far. They had my truck up and tires off almost as soon as it went on the rack. It's now 3:00pm and my trucks hood is up, tires off and no one even looking at it. I came in to have tires installed, why the hell is my hood up? I understand that places are having a difficult time finding employees since people are still living off the government and would rather not work. But damn, 2 hours to put tires on rims? This is something I did when I was 18 for a first job, it's not hard to take the old tires off and put the new ones on. I would suggest finding somewhere else to have your tires serviced. There are a ton of great places and I should have followed my gut and avoided this place. Bob, the gentlemen working the front was pleasant. No complaints with him. So, my truck was finished at 4pm 3 hours of waiting. When it was done the guy pulls it out of the garage and into the parking lot and I hear the roar of my truck (I have modified my trucks exhaust and it's a bit loud.) the roar was followed by my tires squealing against the pavement! I was extremely pissed by this, I just had new tires installed minutes prior and now the little S**t is spinning them in their lot! It's unacceptable, I don't know what's going on at this place but that was more than enough for me to find somewhere else to go. read more

Very rude and unprofessional behavior on the phone. Look come on man if I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, do your job as the specialist and educate me. Guy working here just picked up the phone and clearly didn't want to work. Another thing, apparently you can schedule online for almost any day but then they cancel and tell you they don't have openings until two weeks out. I don't do business with rude people. Do not go here!!!! I've been here several times until I realized that they are scam artists!!! As you sit in the waiting room, they will call customers and tell every person that they have a nail in their tire and that it must be replaced. They have made me purchase tires when I didn't think necessary. After one season of use all of a sudden I had a mystery nail in my tire that just so was noticed when swapping winter tires with all seasons. They are incompetent and lie to customers to make their tire sales go up. I wish I would've recorded the same conversation they have had with customers. If I could give zero stars I would. Stay away from this shop unless you have thousands of dollars for repairs elsewhere after Firestone is done messing your car up. Now according to the website they are supposed to check all important fluids during an oil change, they LIE. All fluids are not checked. My daughters transmission had to be replaced after an oil change because they NEVER checked her transmission fluid . $3500 later and not only do they not care the corporate office will basically tell you that that's your problem not ours and refuse to repair damages that their lies cost customers. I came in with a suspected slow leak in a tire. The staff was ultra friendly and helpful. My car was fixed in less than an hour. I usually get anxious about having my car serviced because in my experience, I tend to get patronized or talked down to since I'm a woman. There was none of that here. Came here for a complete auto inspection for $23 and you can't beat that. The guy working at the service desk was really helpful and great at explaining the things that my car needed. Although he tried to get me to get a few things fixed(that's his job)... I didn't feel pressured to do so and he totally understood. Firestone will usually have great deals on tires and oil changes. It's good to shop around because there are a lot of other mechanics out here that can fix your car for almost 50% less than what they charge. read more

I wouldn't recommend going here. Was told I needed a new tire, be out in twenty minutes. After waiting for an hour was told I needed another new tire. It wouldn't have been so bad had I not had guests coming to my house and getting ready for the Brewer game, but seems kinda shady after the report that they said I needed one new tire and then all of a sudden two new tires. $335 later and I would have gone somewhere else for two new tires. read more

Horrible service! They are scammers. My boyfriend drove in with a muffler that was rusty but intact. When he left, the muffler was dragging on the ground to the point where it just fell off when my boyfriend got out to look at it. The manager tried to say it had been that way and that it would cost $1800 to fix. He refused to admit to the damage or try to rectify the situation. This shop is dishonest and will damage your vehicle, lie, and try to rip you off. I DO NOT recommend this shop for even the simplest of jobs. I normally try to avoid these franchise type auto repair centers as my experience is they try to take advantage of customers. Oh well it's newer so I let them do the basics, I thought. I just wanted an oil change....after having my truck in the bay for about 20 mins one of the guys at the front desk informs me that they can't get to my oil filter because the screws in the bottom of my pan were stripped. He said it was going to be pretty expensive to tap them out. After I had him lower my car I drove over to Scrub a Dub and they had me out of there in about 20 minutes with no problems. It happens everytime I find myself at a firestone. Yes they are open on the weekends, but i will no longer be giving them my business. They are always trying to sell you something you don't need. One time I went in for an oil change and they told me I needed basically a entire new front end. Its been three years since I opted not to fall for their sales pitch and the car has been driving fine. My most recent experience really made me question them. Took my car in for a slow leak in the front tires. After waiting all day, I call them to get an update. My car is next. Fine. Guy calls me back saying there are no punctures or nails in the tires and that it's probably a rim leak. Cool. That's what I figured also. Get a call 5 minutes later saying they found three nails in one of the tires. They claimed they couldn't patch it because two of the nails were too close together. Convenient for them I have an AWD car and of course they immediately gave me a quote for 4 brand new tires even though the other three still had good tread. I told them to put a the spare on and leave it alone. Took my tire to another place to get it patched. They told me the two nails (that firestone left in the tire) wouldn't be a problem to patch but the hole from the mystery nail (which firestone pulled) was too big to patch. The hole was like an 1/8th of an inch wide and you could see right through the tire. Can anybody tell me how you miss something that big and then call the customer to say your tires look good its probably a rim leak? I can't trust these weasels and I won't recommend Firestone to anybody. I feel like they sabotaged one tire because they knew I would have to replace all four because it is an AWD car. Never again.
