The tire that was never touched.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Do not go there they are scammers. On 4/8/2026 I had took my car to have a tire repaired. Employee stated it would take a couple of hours till they got to the car. I left my car and about an hour later the employee called and stated they could fix the tire and it would be 29.99, I authorized the work. I get a call 20 minutes later stating they could not fix the tire and quoted me for 4 tires instead of 1. The employee stated they never touched the tire. I decided to go elsewhere and was informed by the other tire company that who ever had previously tried and fix my tire went too deep in to the threading of the tire. My husband did call as he was mad at the way the situation was handled and spoke to police who had trespassed him. I filed a complaint with the company. I received a phone call at about 6 pm from the area manager who told me they were going to submit a lawsuit on me.

    Stripped oil plug

I've been coming here for years, and the quality of service has declined significantly. My wife took her car there, and when she went to pick it up, the service tech turned it off without putting it in park, and it had rolled into the bushes, and no one noticed until she walked out to it and saw it still in D and the front end in the bushes. Then I had them take my old car in for an oil change a few months back. I went to change the oil myself, and the bolt had been completely stripped. It took me 30 minutes to get it to catch and remove. I don't know who they are hiring, but using an impact gun on an oil plug is the stupidest thing to do. DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I will never take any of my vehicles there again.

Missing 1 lug nut which was serviced my fire stone a few days prior

I have a 2021 Subaru STI and came for a alignment and tire rotation and the service technicians are so horrible at there job I had to go back and get my lug nut lock since I repeated ask if my lug nut lock was in my car and they told me Yes it was and once I look it was not there so I had to drive all the way back and get my lock back from the technician. A few days later my lug nut few off and the service technicians did not torque down the lug nut correctly and the fact this even happened is so disappointing since the service technician did not double check all of the lug nuts are properly torqued. If I can give this store less stars I would never come here

The car was clean prior to arriving, and this is how it was returned to us.

I think the wait was probably around 30/45 minutes to get the car serviced. The service is in drive-through layout. While waiting, Conner, one of the technicians completed a safety inspection which was nice. My tires were also filled with air. Connor also recommended a few additional services like tire rotation and differential fluid replacement. I added those services as well. Abe, Nestor, and a few other technicians then performed all the services. They kept me informed as they finished each service which was also appreciated. They currently have a 20% off coupon on Yelp, so definitely take advantage to get multiple services done at once. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and will be returning for future services. The team was very friendly and I appreciated them taking the time to explain things to me in more detail.

I had a really disappointing experience at Valvoline Instant Oil Change…read more I went in for a routine oil change, and during the service they checked my tires and ended up breaking the valve stem on one of them. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed it on my "new tires," which made no sense since there were no issues before I arrived. They only offered me a $35 discount, which didn't come close to covering the damage they caused. Because of this, I had to go out of my way to replace the tire, which cost me $80 plus additional time and inconvenience. What's even more frustrating is that THEY took a picture of the damage themselves, which I'll be uploading. So there's clear evidence of what happened. Overall, I feel like this situation was handled poorly. If your employees damage a customer's property, there should be accountability not excuses and partial discounts that don't fix the problem. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

TL;DR Honest, reasonable price and above and beyond service!…read more I had flat that was unrepairable and I limped over here on a donut tire after working the night shift. I got to the shop at 930am. They did not have my tire size in stock (I have a strange tire size, so it wasn't unexpected). But they said that they would be able to order one and it would be delivered sometime in the afternoon. I was offered 2 different tire brands, there wasn't any crazy upsells or services that I didn't request or need. So i picked one and the manager said he'll call me when the tire is here and I can drive back to get it installed. I asked him would be ok if I left my car there because I live far away and I would be unable to drive there and back since ive been up all night working. I was in dire need of some sleep. They said sure no problem just leave the car here and once we get it installed we'll call you. So I just left my car with them ubered home and slept for a couple of hours. They called me and at 3pm that everything was done and I could come pick up the car. When I got back to the shop to pick up the car, the manager told me check out the car and I found out that they polished my sunfaded headlamps, they were now like new clear and bright! Man what a great surprise. These guys were the best. They absolutely did not need to do that.

Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. This is my new go-to shop for any issues involving our family vehicles. Thank you, Hye-Tech Auto Repair, for a very positive experience.

It's nice to see you can get quotes at the touch of a button on your phone. This morning, I had time off, so I headed in to get my service done. I did not have an appointment and that did not seem to matter. I arrived first thing in the morning at 8 AM and ask if the service could be done. Harry was an exceptional young man, he took me in with no problems, no questions. He said they could do it this morning. I told him I would have to wait. He had no problem with that either. Prior to bring in the car in this morning, as I said, I used a yelp project and had several people reach out and give me quotes. After looking at all the yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try. I am super happy that I did. This place is a hidden gem, excellence, service, quality, and value for what you receive. There are not very many shops where you could feel comfortable and put your trust in them. As I spent time in the lobby, I was able to see customer service on the phone and customer service entering the facility. Every customer that walked in, seem satisfied and was treated with dignity and respect. I highly recommend this place if you have any automotive questions whatsoever.

Brought my car in, went over some paperwork and was told I'd be contacted once the inspection was complete. Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.
