went in cause I thought my passenger rear tire was leaking air- they told me my tires were bald and needed all four new tires in my 2020 Honda CRV. My car was bought back in October- nothing has been wrong with it since. When I left it wreaked of oil/gas - only to find out it's LEAKING OIL When I called to complain KNOWING they were the source they tried telling me certain makes and models of Honda have a fuel pump recall and that could be it; in no way tried to take any accountability or offer help. My friend called- both managers hung up on him. Honda confirmed there are no recalls on my specific car. these people are responsible for my car leaking oil and I have opened a claim for a refund. I brought my vehicle and four new tires to Firestone in mid-Octobe. The next day, the tire inflation warning came up on the dashboard. I went straight back to Firestone where i was told i needed a new TPMS sensor in the left front wheel. They installed it. it was way longer than the other three wheels and made of plastic instead of aluminium as the original TPMS. Not very good for car resale value. The following day, as I was leaving the Berkshires to drive back to NYC, the warning light came up again. I drove back to the city (stopping here and there to check on the tires) and went straight to a shop in Chinatown. The technician there discovered that Firestone had not removed the sticker on the left tire (that's the large sticker that comes with each new tire) and air was leaking. I also got him to replace that TPMS with the correct model, similar with the other three. Conclusion: very poor workmanship from the Firestone technician an unnecessary expense for the TPMS sensor (which obviously was not the problem) and the wrong type Remedy: i went to a tire shop I know and trust and they fixed the problem asap. I also went to the other shop down a few stores with a new TPMS and the manager there checked my tire and recalibrated the new sensor for free (!). AVOID this shop like the black plague! read more

I was driving down the interstate on a Friday afternoon about 5:30pm when I heard a loud thud. Moments later an error message flashed on the dashboard to immediately take the car to a mechanic. The only mechanic open at that hour was the Firestone in Westfield, MA. I drove onto their lot and conveyed the error message and they immediately popped the hood and saw that the alternator had blown. That was the loud thud I'd heard. They were happy to do the work to fix it but advised me to check if it was still under warranty as parts alone were over $1000. Since everything was closed, they allowed me to keep the car there until Monday morning when my dealer's service department opened and had my vehicle towed to the nearest dealership. Even though they didn't work on my car, a team of 3 people immediately assessed the situation and walked me thru options. They were courteous, professional, and kind. This place is not what it was 10 years ago. It was good between the time it changed from expert tire to Firestone and for about 5 years or so. Things that have changed since in my opinion are now a lack for customer care, no longer respecting your time, they are highly uneducated when speaking of automotive needs and repairs and are more expensive for repairs than most places. Regarding the knowledge claim. I had a leaking power steering line. I personally located the leak and told them where it was leaking from. Chalked the pinhole. They insisted running a dye test and drive it for 50+ miles. So I did. I came back and was told, "We can't find any power steering leak but you have an oil pan leak." Anyway I replaced the leaky line myself as I do have experience in auto mechanics just no time and a lack of place to work on a car. After I replaced my line, no more leaks and the oil pan, no leak but was saturated in dye from the power steering line leak. I spent thousands here over the course of 15+ years and will not be back. Also, I found better deals on their own brand tires that they cannot beat at a nearby location with many more options. read more

before making a decision to go here based off these other reviews read this first. This has been the worst service I have even gotten. A few weeks ago I went in for a tire alignment and I left with my car violently jerking after every turn. come to find out they were not done with my car and the front desk guy let us leave. Instead of calling to tell us they said nothing so we called them and they told us it was extremely dangerous... they told me it was the transmission when it was not it was the tire arm. now yesterday I got a flat tire so I needed new tires anyways and they had them in stock they fit me in perfect I leave and now every time I come to a stop my car sounds like an 18 wheeler. I'm going back so they can fix it today and I will update after but from the looks of it these people have no clue what they are talking about, there salesmen not mechanics. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Update: they said it was my breaks which makes no sense but im over it. the guy with the black beard has horrible customer service 0/10 and wouldn't be the first issue I've had with him. I am absolutely blown away by the kind and great service I got today. I came in after my tire was running low on air and low and behold we found a screw had punctured the side wall. The two guys that I dealt with didn't have a spot to put me in but put my spare on until tomorrow when I go in and get my new tires put on which I feel are an incredibly good price. It was a long day at work and to end up with a flat tire was the last thing I wanted but these guys made it so easy and stress free! The gentleman (Emery, Luis, Brian and others) I've dealt with here are so helpful and kind! I've had a lot of issues pop up over the last couple weeks and they have been wonderful. I never feel like they are taking advantage of me which as a woman is rare. I've gone to other Firestone's and they are not nearly as good. This shop is awesome. When my runflat tire popped open on Rte. 20 (Thanks Westfield potholes), I was pressed to find someone to help me out and get me back on the road. When other places told me they couldn't get my tire in for several days, these guys went out of ther way to obtain the tire necessary for my vehicle and get me back on the road within a matter of a few hours!! My 82-year-old Mom was back in Westfield visiting friends. One of the tires ( replaced all tires 12 months before) was low on air. She went to a garage in South Hadley where they told her that plugging the tire would not work and that she would need to go get a patch. The Garage let her know she would need to take it back to Firestone and they could patch the tire. She went to the Westfield Firestone and told them what the Garage mechanic said. She waited 2 hours for the patch to be placed on the tire and then was on her way. Two days later, the low tire pressure light came on. Tire pressure went from 40 lbs to under 30. We filled it again. Again 2 days later the pressure light came on, so we took it to Mr. Tire where they told us Firestone did not patch the tire but plugged it after they said and were told to patch it. She now has to buy a new tire. Taking advantage of an 82 yo woman and not having the knowledge or experience to do the right thing. Your Moms must be proud of you boys. read more

We were traveling in the Mass Turnpike and hit a tire in the middle of the road. After realizing that something was hanging from underneath our car we stopped here to see if they could fix it! They did and they were extremely professional, kind and courteous! It was fixed in about 10 mins for 10.00!! These guys are great!! I would highly recommend them!! read more
