The only problem was nobody told me that my spare tire was put in the back of my car instead in its proper place. I went to place my luggage in the back and there was my spare tire. I needed new tires and went online to search places like tirerack and giga-tire. I found a deeply discounted set of tires on giga-tire. Since "Nobody not even the online stores" can beat their prices, I called and provided a quote I got on an online retailer. So, they couldn't beat the price of the tire I had found but was willing to install if I purchased that set of tires online. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they did beat this price with another tire they had in stock which I researched and found was a better tire, receiving better reviews and was actually listed as a more expensive tire. I ended up getting these offered tires at an unbelievable price with a 4 wheel alignment. I couldn't be happier. The service at this location for the install, balance and alignment was perfect. The staff on site are very professional and customer oriented. I would highly recommend this location of Town Fair Tire stores. dropped my SUV off for 4 tires and a 4 wheel alignment. After paying and getting my paperwork I asked where the print out was for the alignment. I was told that if I didn't have it and was probably left in the car. I went to the car and it wasn't there. Went back inside and was told that the alignment tech had already left for the day and was asked to come back to have it done. I told them that that wasn't acceptable. Someone put it on the alignment rack and did the alignment while I waited (I think it was the store manager) I was given a print out that showed it was out of alignment and then it was adjusted to get it within spec. I was told when I paid for it that the alignment was done. If it was done why was it out of adjustment? I believe I caught them trying to scam me. Will never go back. read more

My 2021 Subaru Outback's front end ruined four tires in 28,000 miles. While I had the tires rotated on a timely basis, I never had an alignment. Who knew? Before getting down to the review I just want to say that I used to recommend this business to friends but after my recent experiences with this business I will never be going back. I went to Town Fair Tire last January looking for tires for my Honda. Before going to the store I had done research online about what tires were recommended on enthusiast forums, checked some reviews an Tirerack.com and felt that I had narrowed my search to a few good options. After gathering this information I called Town Fair to see if they had any of the tires that had made my short list and they said they had four tires in the correct size for my car in my first choice tire. Yeah! I was very happy that my first call in searching for the tires I chose was a success, so I drove down to Westfield (I live in the hilltowns 20 miles outside of Westfield, a 40 minute drive). When I arrived the first salesperson I encountered kept trying to steer me away from the tires I had called about. When I stuck to my guns I was informed that they did not in fact have them in stock but they could order them and they would be there by 11am the next day (Saturday), so I agreed to come back the next day (another 40 minute drive each way). When I arrived the next day no one in the store knew anything about the tires I ordered until I got to the manager who after several minutes of trying, again, to sell me something I clearly stated I didn't want. Eventually told me that the wrong tires were ordered, but that the ones that came in were good tires with a higher list price then the ones I ordered and that they would charge me the price of the original tires. Naively I agreed, and let me just say the tires I got were horrendous. When i went back only 6 months later with a flat I was informed that the road hazard replacement that had been included with every single tire I had purchased here before had been stopped and that I should have asked for the coverage (at an extra $15 per tire) if I had wanted it. This road hazard guarantee was the main reasons I had previously recommended this business so I was very unhappy about this turn of events, but resigned myself to purchasing another tire. Last week I got another flat tire (these are the ONLY two flat tires I have ever had in over 25 years of driving, both on these same tires) and returned to Town Fair to replace it. On arrival I showed the guy the damage, and asked how long the wait was, I was told 30-45 minutes, that all bays were full now but that no one was waiting and mine would be the next car to be worked on. An hour later I inquired if my car was ready or could I get a revised estimate, and was told they were working on it now. I went back to the waiting room for another hour before going outside to take a call, and what did I see but my car sitting outside the garage. I went back in to see if it was ready and was told yes it was, when I complained about the delay the manager (the same person who told me 30-45 minutes said "well we have been running over two hours all day so I should be happy with having mine done in only an hour and a half" when I asked why I had not been informed that me car was finished and spent an extra half hour in the waiting room, the manager became visibly angry and stated "well I'm sorry but what do you want ME to do about it". At this point I just walked out. Needless to say I will never return here and would advise you to follow suit. TL;DR- Horrible service, bait and switch tactics, and outright lies are what you can expect if you do business here. read more

Purchased Yokohama at tires for my Toyota Tacoma. Had them aligned, installed for $900 I drove on it for couple days and hear squealing noise everytime I turn right. I brought it back 3xs and got a different excuse each time (1 was that oil was leaking out of my new tires making a sound, 2 the new tire had a hop in it and couldn't be fixed, 3 new tires make noises) I decided to bring this to my mechanics. My mechanic informed me that they bent the backing plate when installing the tires. My mechanic charged to fix it than I brought the receipt to town fair. I talked to town fair manager and he paid for the damage caused by this, no hesitation. He kept informing me my mechanic charged me way to much to fix this. I informed him you shouldn't had bent it in the first place I'm a bit worried going back to get tires rotated due to my experience here. Went before and never had problems! read more

My boyfriend and I dropped his car off at this location on a Friday night, for his appointment on Saturday at 2:00 pm. We called Saturday morning to confirm the appointment and to let them know that we dropped the car off. At first when they answered they said they didn't have our appointment on record but another person took over the phone call and said the appointment was in the system. They said they would call back when the car was ready so one of us could pick up the car on our lunch- since we work in the area. They never called us, and they didn't tell us that they are closed on sundays. My boyfriend had work all weekend long so we had to go out of our way to arrange rides. Very disappointed. Dropped my car off to have (4) tires installed only to return 1.5 hours later to find only (3) installed with the spare. The (4th) tire is in the back of my car with a damaged wheel (pothole). Rather than call me to explain there was a problem, they went ahead and installed only the (3) along with the spare. The staff exercised bad judgement today. Now I have to scramble around to find a wheel before I return to work and unable to plan it into my busy schedule. I have bought tires at Town Fair for several of my cars in the past but no longer. Their suggestion; call a junk yard or a Ford dealer. Very disappointing. STAY AWAY! I got my wfe's Summer tires put back on March 31 before leaving on vacation April 5th. My wife only drives back roads to work so she didn't notice every tire was out of balance like I did driving to Logan airport on April 5th. Return from vacation late April 14th to a nearly flat tire! TPMS shows 13 psi. Wander the streets near Logan airport at 9PM on a Saturday night looking for air. Get it pumped up make it home. Drive to Westfield Monday evening. They rebalance the tires and fix the flat which was mis-seated bead! They actually charged me to fix the flat! Are you kidding me? Oddly the exact same thing happened today on a new set of tires purchased at the East Hartford location! Looks like another trip to to the "experts" which will extend my 12 hours already in their stores this month. Are they really experts? Seems like shoddy work at every location for me. STAY AWAY!!!! I will say the people are far more courteous than in East Hartford. That's the only reason they get any stars! read more

This morning about 9:30 I stopped by to have a flat tire repaired. I have always had a good experience in the past (over 9 years) Today did not work out at all. 3 men working behind counter. 1 had clipboard and left area. 1 talking with customer about his large order 1 working with counter computer. There was another customer also waiting for service. After waiting 12 min the phone rang about 10 times and when finally picked up a dial tone could be heard. At no time were we acknowledged. I decided Customer Service was dead today and left. I went up the road (about 200 yds) to another tire dealer. Yes their Customer Service was working well. read more

I went next door to get a coffee and sat down for maybe 15 minutes before receiving a convenient text message saying my truck was ready for pickup. Made an appointment for a time 3 days in advance. Was told hour to an hour and a half I would be here. I also confirmed how long it was take at the desk when paying. It's been 2 and a half hours so I went up to the desk and they hadn't allignged the tires yet. Said 4 people were ahead of me. I reminded them the time they said it would take. They talked amongst themselves and noticed they had forgot about my vehicle. The key and paperwork was lost in the bin behind the 4 people who came well after me. This past Saturday i was leaving my job at a diary farm at 120ish, I called Town fair tire and explained multiple times that i would be there before two o clock and i needed an alignment. The person on the phone told me as long as I was at the store before two it would be done. In the snowy conditions i made my way down route 20 and i walked into the store at 150 and told them i was here for my alignment. The guy went around back to check and see if the "alignment guy" was still there. He said no hes done for the day, after i explained to the clerk, who spent a total of 2 seconds around the corner, that i was promised an alignment if i was there before. 2'o clock, when i called them back today to get an explanation and hopefully a discounted alignment they told me i was lying about being promised an alignment at 2 o clock (when they stop doing them for the day) and that they told me over the phone to be there by 140.Being a student and very busy between work and classes i was depending on this to be done that day and they said that's too bad because the guy who does alignments had to leave because his ride was there to pick him up, (this is ten minutes before the end of his shift). I have since take my business elsewhere because they told me flat out they wouldn't do my alignment because that ONE guy was leaving, if it takes 20 minutes have him start it and have one of the FIVE people that were standing at the front desk doing nothing finish it. Poor service, failed to do the alignment on the car ten minutes before 2pm on a Saturday when they are open until 6, and when i called to confront them they said oh well, and that i can post on yelp whatever i want. I don't not recommend this business, and if you read some of the other reviews you can see that the people working here just don't care. read more

Once you have done business with these folks you are treated like gold whenever you go there if your phone number is in their system. I have 2 cars with automatic tire warnings and they always take care of them and reset the gauges free of charge. Every time I've had a minor problem they have taken care of it almost immediately. Town Fairs Tire's "Free" services are not free, when their web site states "If the customer comes in with a set of snow tires not mounted on wheels we will dismount the regular tires off the wheels and remount the snow tires on the same wheels at no charge to the customer." Their manager told me that you are going to still be charged with a balancing and valve stem fee! THAT IS NOT "FREE" ! ! ! LADIES BE CAUTIOUS HERE My 2008 Rav 4 was towed to Town Fair Tire on East Main St in Westfield, Ma the end of October 2015 with a flat tire on the front passenger side and a flat full spare on the back of the vehicle. Due to the vehicle needing all four of the same tires they had to order two new tires to match that would take several days to come in. I left my car with Town Fair to pick it up several days later in their lot to have it not start. One of the workers said the battery had died to it being cold, which it wasn't cold out and it was a new battery. Town fair gave me a jump and later once again my car died to have all my dash lights come on Check engine, VSC, and 4WD which had never come on before. I called to speak to the manager Ron who said to bring my car back and he would replace the battery. I did that and he had also said they were unable to do an alignment because there was a freeze on the alignment that was a Toyota recall. I left Town Fair and had wondered why they had never turned off my low tire pressure light on my dash after putting on the two new tires. I brought my car to Toyota to have the alignment recall fixed and asked them to remove the tire pressure light at that time. They said that the spare tire was flat with an issue being near the rim (the same spot and tire that Town fair was supposed to replace that I was charged for). I called Ron back on 12/9 to ask him why the spare that was flat that I had originally told them needed to be replaced was flat? He said that the only tires he knew that were replaced were the two front tires that were flat. When my car left my driveway on the Triple A tow truck there was only 1 flat front tire and the spare that was on the back of my vehicle. I can provide paperwork through triple A documenting this that there was not 2 front flats. I explained this to Ron and he said I was lucky that Town Fair replaced the battery. I said when my car left on the Tow Truck their were no lights left on vehicle and this had happened under their care in their lot. I believe only one tire was replaced at Town Fair even though I paid for two new tires. Ron was unhelpful and demeaning to me as a female and treated me like I was stupid. I have been driving in a bad situation where if I was to get a flat I'd have no working spare which was why I brought my car to Town Fair to begin with. First off I had to order the tires, which I knew ahead of time because they were a special tire. They said the tires should be in the next day or two but I had a feeling that was a lie. Said they would call once the tires came in, never received a call after waiting a week. Ended up calling their number but it connected me to their call center. They said the tires are there. So I drove there after speaking with the call center to make an appointment. They scheduled me for 9:30am in a couple days. I got there right at 9:30. Took my keys and noticed my truck never went into the bay after waiting til 10:30. Went to the front desk and asked why my truck hasn't been into the bay after waiting an hour. Their answer was that they had a lot of appointments. I said I would've came at 10:30 if I knew I would be waiting an hour just to get my truck in. They then told me it would only take an hour to change the 4 tires and alignment. 2 1/2 hours later the tires were finally on. So don't believe anything these guys tell you at the front desk because obviously they have no clue what they're doing and horrible about estimated times. read more

TOWN FAIR TIRE REVIEW 4/4/2015 Be ready to be tested and frustrated. Do your home work because they are going to crank you. I had a "deal" in place that we both agreed to so they ordered my tires, and everything was good until the next morning,.. I get a phone message. He says his manager went online and re-submitted my "online deal" and came back with a higher price,($175 more for shipping) and that we could talk about it when I came in to get my tires.. That afternoon I drove to Town Fair Tire after work to get my tires, but before going into the store I called Rucki's in Holyoke and Alex quoted me the price I had found online,(mounted and balanced) so I walked in and told them I was going to pass on the deal cause I found a better price! All of a sudden they "can" do the original price! "Don't leave", we never said we wouldn't give you the price, we just wanted to "show" you the extra $ 175! That's funny cause on the message he left on my phone he said it would be an additional charge to the cost of my tires and that we could talk about it when I came in. Ok so I take the deal because he says the tires are already here and they can put them right on. Well a half hour later he comes into the waiting area and says: "the delivery truck is running late, actually the truck hasn't even made it to their warehouse yet to pick up my tires and he will be late getting them to the store, so could I come back. I agreed to come back Sat morning when the store opened. I was there when they opened at 8am and they took me right in ahead of the 7 people in line waiting, and before leaving they offered me some extra services for free, when I need to have my snow tires re-mounted and balanced in the fall. All in all, the experience was not pleasant and the whole situation could have been avoided if they had just stuck to their word and honored the original agreement instead of playing games to try to get more money out of me.
