Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for anyone one or any company to help someone out in a pinch. I came in early in the week panicked about one of my tires and the service was good and they let me come in as a walk in. I come back two days later like they recommended me to get a sensor replaced and the customer service was completely different! Huge attitude from the front desk and not honoring what was discussed before. This location definitely isn't way it used to be compared to a few years ago. If you come here, make sure you get everything in writing (conversation, prices, etc). read more

I recently had work completed on my Subaru 2006 outback totaling $2,339 At the Firestone on concord pike in Wilmington De. I had the Half shaft, steering and suspension, power steering replaced and "fixed". I would like to send over the invoice and talk to a representative. I got the car back and it was heavily leaking oil, smoking and still making the clunking noises; it was having worse problems than when i dropped it off. The mechanics told me it was the timing belt cover that was leaking and i need to take it to a Subaru dealership. I took it to the Subaru dealership. I had them do a vehicle inspection and they stated that it was not the timing belt cover but the oil sending units that sit on top of the engine; which he didn't know how the Firestone mechanics could miss that. On top of that the mechanics at Firestone left the tie rods loose and the power steering pump they installed and charged me for did not function. After 2 months of me calling them and their representatives lying about anyone ever calling me back. I finally got information about a refund and was told it was going to refunded for the full amount. So I was like ok great, didn't get my hopes up because it's been all lies so far. Every time I called they reprehensive would say they "emailed the case agent " I would wait and then nothing. I emailed, called and left messages, not once did anyone call me back. After I emailed the agent for my refund information , it was not for the full amount and it wasn't ever for the original amount offered, it was significantly less. I was at this location but a day ago because I tire management was on point. He was able to find me the correct tires that I have on my truck right now because it's a custom bill truck so you want to have all four tires the same different brand tires on the truck, especially if you're gonna up and shows and stuff like that the only negative thing that I have to say this is that when they did the balancing on my tires, the weight out and never removed the new ones after he removed the old ones out they balancing the tires. They put too much weight on it, and on top of that they that they never replaced so that part right there was to me a little upsetting. I didn't with anybody. I just one of my tire but if you're gonna do something, do it right from the and all the way to the end because customer well the tire is still balance when you're putting 300 g of weight on the wheels. It's not thanks to management. He found me the right tire, the exact tire that I have and the price was fair. I wanted to leave zero stars, but at least one is required. Three months ago I had 4 new tires installed to the tune of $800. I recently got a screw in one of them and they told me it could not be patched or plugged due to location. $200 later, I'm walking out to my vehicle where the technician parked it. As I approach the vehicle, I noticed a broken beer bottle and a lot of glass directly behind my vehicle. I went back inside and quietly asked the tech to come outside with me. I showed him the broken glass and all he could say was "he didn't run over that glass when he parked your car". I asked for a broom and he said he didn't have one, that the man with broom is gone for the day. Not only did they park my car in a space full of glass, they failed to check the PSI on all tires (as I requested) which read 27, 29, 32, 36. The new tire was at 36. This is one of the friendliest Firestone I've ever been to. From beginning to end the customer service was on point. I popped two of my tires on a Wednesday morning and had to call a towing company to get my car towed to this Firestone. Of course, I called the Firestone ahead of time to check if it was OK that I sent my car over there. Joe let me know that they could start immediately working on my car even if I am not there in person and for the towing guy to just ask for him when he got there. The car would be finished by the time I could pick it up after work. Joe let me know when my car arrived, what work they would do on it, and what types of tires I needed. He was very transparent about everything they were doing to my car. He even threw in complimentary tire rotations and an alignment adjustment because I still had the warranty on my car after visiting a Firestone in Florida a few months back (they looked me up in their system using my phone number). I wasn't overcharged and picking up my car took about 5min at this location. Super simple. This Firestone turned my headache into a worry-free event. Highly recommend! read more

I went to this location because I've had bad experiences with the express oil change companies Midas, Meineke and Jiffy Lube in the past. I went to this location Bc of the good yelp reviews. I don't understand why they charge $64 for a basic oil change. I understand they need to make money but I felt was plainly just ripped off. I will be looking for another place on my next scheduled maintenance. read more

We had a 2:30 appointment for 2 tires to be mounted balanced and put back on the vehicle. It is now 430 and they only have 1 tire done. Worst service I've ever received. Terribly slow and no sense of urgency. They could care less. read more

The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. The work I've gotten done here has been top notch and not as expensive as places I've been to in the past. I understand the need to push more business via the route of recommended service but some of the services recommended weren't needed. read more

I had a service appointment scheduled for an oil change and it took over 2 hours. I don't like how they always have a list of recommendations even if it's something you recently addressed. When I question their recommendations the response was we recommended it based on the mileage. They should do a quick assessment prior to making recommendations. This is your average chain automotive business. read more

I have been going to Firestone for several years for oil changes and tire rotations. There have been a few larger fixes that I've needed done which I have also enlisted Firestone to complete. Friendly and fast service coupled with complete honesty and the ability to explain everything that is going on with the vehicle. Rip off artist. Tried to tell me I could not get a patch and needed to buy a new tire. Just bought these tires less then 4 MONTHS before. The screw was in the center of the tread. So I took it to pep boys. Was in and out in 15 min. They laughed at the fact that Firestone told me that it couldn't be patched. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOUR THROWING MONEY AWAY... read more

These guys have never done me wrong, they don't push repairs on you and will do what you want, unfortunately they won't install parts you supply and they aren't the cheapest but they're a pretty honest shop and they look out for return customers. Only problem I've had is sometimes they look forget to call when your car is ready and that my car is now too low to fit on their lifts. Would definitely recommend to someone in need of auto service. read more
